I had settled my StanChart Credit Card in 2008. I obtained a no dues certificate from the bank and after 4-5 years I started getting their emails for payment of dues.
This is ridiculous. They did not update CIBIL and my report is still showing dues of almost Rs.5 lacs, which is very huge and it is not my fault at all.
I have replied to their emails since then providing them with the proofs still they are not ready to edit this information with CIBIL.
The person who I had dealt with in 2008 is not traceable and the bank is saying that there are no accounting entries in their system regarding the payment. I paid one cheque(rs7000) and cash(rs8000) total of rs.15000. I am trying to find the entry in one of the passbooks through which I paid the cheque. But it is difficult to recall the records of 9 years ago.

Please help with this matter.

      I am really very unhappy by your standard chartered bank un profession services only one request up date your system other wise u will loose business and repoddation also
      regarding our complaints pl check our mail ferbery, march, appril 2013 and our credit card statement of march 2013 u will also realized mistake i[censored] want any further detail pl inform I will be happy to provide u we have all record in hard copy of bills from march 2011 we thinks u will look after this matter as early as possible with written us no dues with apolize

        Reauested for cancellation of loan as unable to encash DD which they have sent. Sent their DD back and requested to Cancel loan. Given request on 8.01.17. Standard chartered bank is not cancelling loan and adding EMI of loan eventhough I have not encashed DD.
        Request to kindly get loan cancelled and revert back all EMI and processing charges of loan.

          I settled my account with them 2 years back & now i want NDC so i want to pay the balance amount. when i called them they raised the issue of due payment which is charged on my not availed service.
          Thr customer care said we will resolve the issue in 2-3 days. after 2 weeks also i aim not getting any call or feedback from them.

          THEY r really BAD.

            I have already exerted all possible efforts to dispute and clear the fraudulent transactions on my Standard Chartered card dated way back Aug.2014. As soon as I found about about the charges, I immediately reported and asked my card to be blocked. My card has been with me the whole time and the charges were all made online. I already made several disputes and phone calls to clear the charges. initially, SC had reversed the said charges on October 2014 statement, Only to charge it back again on January and February 2015 even though i had complied with all their requirements for dispute. I refuse to pay for something that I did not transact and I asked them to cut my card after I have paid in FULL all my legitimate transactions. after all the hassle on my part to clear my record, they are still insisting me to pay the fraudulent charges and have endorsed my account to collection agencies. I will stand firm that I WILL NOT PAY these Fraudulent charges. now forward to 2017, I am having difficulty to apply for LOAN because apparently my SC account have been red tagged. All my other credit card is in good credit standing because I have always been a diligent payer. Just because of this ######## of a company STANDARD CHARTERED, my whole credit record is compromised. YOU STANDARD CHARTERED IS THE REAL FRAUD! YOU INSIST YOUR CLIENTS TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT IS OBVIOUSLY AN UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTION even though we have done all efforts to clear and dispute them. you don't do your job to protect your clients. you just feed us to the wolves by having INCOMPETENT Fraud team who doesn't even seem to investigate on the disputes of their cleints. SHAME ON YOU! YOUR COMPANY WILL SOON BANKRUPT WITH YOUR KIND OF BUSINESS.

                I had a credit card from Standard Chartered Bank Credit Cards which had been taken over by you with a reference number[protected]. I came to know about this while I approached a bank for some loan. I was informed of having one account as WRITTEN OFF, but on generating a CIBIL Report from CIBIL Site I could know that your institution name is appearing and understood that your institution has taken over the outstanding of Standard Chartered Bank.

                Now, I want to know, if the same can be closed and how?

                  As per the statement dated 18 March 2016, the total outstanding dues in your card ending 9396 was Rs.3, 673.56 towards which we received a partial payment of Rs.2, 500.00 after due date...

                  I already said, never recieved the call sent sevral email why this has been over chanrge to me so i paid whatever i spend...

                  I sent 60 email till date no one has reposnsed everytime they are saying they are looking into it will arrange call some time...

                  This is happening from Last 6 month so whatever extra charge for me 1000 Rs/- now it becomes 5000 rs/--... please let me know who can help me on this...

                  It looks like bank is just cheating with customer ...
                  Its third class bank have ever seen no one reponded with details..

                  called Standrd cahrted bank as got call from [protected] and they are asking me for my peronal details like 16 digit card no full name and date pf birth...i have given only DOB and refused to give them 16 digit card no ...
                  there are very much background noise coming in call some bollywodd songs...i really frsutred now...

                  this is worst bank have ever seen ...i am goign to post every one to STOP useing the SC cards...they are making fool to customer care...Even i called SC customer care but noone reponsding.

                    Hi,

                    I am drafting this email on behalf of my father for this issue since he is unaware of the technologies.

                    Please be informed that my father was using a standard chartered credit card and the number reads as [protected]. At one point of time he was unable to pay the outstanding dues on time since he was not feeling well and the rate of interest on the bill hiked all of the sudden and he started receiving calls from the customer care executives often. Hence he decided to close the card and the customer care executives informed my father to pay around 4000 rupees for the full and final settlement and they also informed that once he pays the money they will provide the noc copy for the full and final settlement, so he paid 4000 rupees on 15-september-2015 at the standard chartered chennai beach branch. The branch officials also confirmed that the account is closed and they will send a noc for full and final settlement made. The noc was not sent and the account was not closed for the same we contacted the branch several times and there was no proper response from the bank and all the informed is that the bank will call him.

                    Now when my father applied for a loan he found himself as a defaulter in the cibil and we were shocked to see that the over due amount in the card is 7762 rupees till date. Attached is the statement generated in the month of sep 2015 and cibil report. This is really frustrating that the customer care executives and the bank is betraying to get money from the people.

                    When i contacted the customer care executives now they are asking him to pay 6000 again for the full and final settlement and only after paying the above said money they will provide the noc. I would request you to provide the noc and clear the cibil over dues immediately.

I have still not received an NOC from Standard Chartered Bank inspite of repeated requests & having expressed Urgency on several times. Your Call Centre is a JOKE! Standard Charteded Branches seem to have no accessto Loan records even though my car is hypothecated to your Lower Parel Branch (Yes, as on dated, 12 years after the loan was fully paid off !)

                        Please do not opt for standard chartered credit cards.

                        They do not update the credit card statment on time ., it takes more than 3-4 days to update it, after multiple follow ups.

                        When you pay you entire dues on or well before the due date, it still shows as payment pending for more than a week after you have made the full payment.

                        Further they do not update the stamtent on time so they can charge unlawful charges.

                        For eg. Payment was due on 19/12, they on purpose have not updated my statment since 15/12.

                        I have paid my entire dues whatever was appearign on the statment on 19/12, but now they will back date the statement and say that i have not made payments incurred.On 15, 16, etc

                        when you email them they do not respond!!!

                        Just what I suspected has happened!!!

                        these cheaters back dated my credit card statement. I was following up since 16/12 to update my statement becoz 19/12 was the payment due date...

                        I paid my entire dues what was appearing as outstanding on 19/12, inspite of that they went ahead and back dated my credit card...

                        After I made the payment on 19/12 ... they updated my credit card statement to show paayments due on 16/12 whereas I was urging them to update it for so long..

                        Bloody cheaters of the first order. They normally enjoy charging undue penalty for no fault of the customer ... this is not the first time they have done this..

                        they on purpose delay updating the card statement so that they can levy undue penalty charges.

                          I request reserve bank of india to recover excess charges which is in thousand crores taken by banks on credit cards since they allowed to do business in india till now & also hurt sentiments of customers by sending goons and abused ladies at there residence by goons earliar no government has taken any action against these rogue banks now i expect Modi government to take action
                          against these multinational bank they are not follow any guideline of reserve bank of india now also they harass customers by different hidden ways.these banks never harass big businessmans/politicians who are also defaulters only they harass individuals & small businessmans who has taken small amount of loan 10000/- to 50000/-.sir please take action against these multinational/national private banks or recover excess charges charged from these small customers.yeh bank khud hi defaulters paida kartein hai agar aap ek mahine installment dene mein late ho gaye toh lagatar aap ko itna harass kartein hain phone karke ya apke ghar goonde bhej kar isse koi bhi customer zid kar leta hai ki ab mein bank ko kisi bhi halat mein paise nahi dunga chahe kuch bhi ho jaye yeh jada commission basis par cases ko recoverywale ko de detein hai aur woh commision ke liye kisi bhi hadko paar kar jata hai.kisi bhi tarah ki languages ka prayog ladies ya bachon se karta hai. copy to reserve bank of india

                              I was holding a credit card in 2011 for which i sent an email to scb for closure & on top of that i sent multiple reminders as well, however no one responded & now i have cibil issue for non payment of my cc dues.

                              It was totally scb fault they never responded to my written email & charging interest & late fees till now, i have provide the emails copy to them which were sent to them

                                    Respected Sir,

                                    I, Bhavina Patel had home loan in Standard Chartered Bank, Account no was 47934964. we had changed home loan from Standard Chartered bank to ICICI Bank.While collecting documents from Standard Chartered bank they refused to handover to me, even though i was co-borrower and having all the authority letter from other applicants. Bank was quite adamant in their approach.As i told them that I am co-applicant. they informed me that my name was not reflecting in their system.It is quite surprised that after 6 yrs of loan, my name was not reflecting in the system, even though i have sign the loan agreement before disbursement of home loan from Standard Chartered Bank.

                                    I am requesting you to look in this matter and kindly take the necessary step. i have given the request for the same in Standard Chartered Bank in month of August but there were no response and lately they agreed to send me a letter which i have attached. Whole procedure was quite troublesome. Please see the attachments.

                                      Illegal tax (trfd) charged on credit card payment

                                      Hi,

                                      I have been applied an extra tax (trfd) of 914.95 on my credit card payment still i paid the bill on due date. the due date for my credit card payment was 1st dec 2016 and i paid the bill on the same day still the bank has charged me the extra tax on the payment. i am not understanding why the bank has charged me this tax as i have done my payment on the due date. can you please help me out in this situation...
