          I v. Krishna rao working as a civil design engineer in bangalore, a
          Customer of standard chartered bank holding a credit card since may 2011 and after getting the card, the royal sundaram representatives
          Introduced them selves as a allied company with standard chartered
          Bank (Standard chartered bank has business tie up with royal sundaram, tata aig etc) and the bank representative also given same
          Information while i had contacted with him for a clarification. The
          Call center representatives engaged by the companies like in the case
          Are providing fraudulent information to the public and trapping them
          And later threating the customers.in this regard the royal sundaram
          Representatives explained the benefits of the health insurance policy
          And their business establishments and finally convinced me to get
          Number of health policies from royal sundardam health insurance
          Company. At that time the person confirmed that in any case found not
          Interested in the policy will be terminated and cancelled. Upon that
          I had convinced and opted the policy as they are the best among other
          Companies. They both told that the companies were tied up and best
          Among other insurance policy companies and serving the policy holders
          In a better way all over indian with many branches every where and
          Cabn claim easily from every where. They suggested that the premium
          Can be payable by emi option through the standard chartered bank by
          Taking loan from the standard chartered bank. Initially i agreed upon
          To get the policies without signing any document/agreement but after
          Getting policies papers all are bogus simply cheating the common
          Indian. The documents does not contain any health cared card like the
          Cards limited company’s offering for the employees. They has given
          Cards called thyro care cards instead of health care cards and are
          Useless. After first premium royal sundaram representative contacted
          Me and told that the total amount of the policy for the two years has
          Been increased and to be paid based on the revised amount. I had not
          Agreed with that, later they increased the rate of charges over the
          Premium. The charges imposed on us was unbearable. I had intimated
          The same to the bank managers. There was not change in the process.
          I had paid so many premium.in the way so many companies contacted me
          For so many plans. Some of the companies cheated me in this way. I
          Has complained against this to axis bank managers and consumer court
          Forum. Atlast after many months the amount has been refunded but i
          Had paid interest for the money. I had lose my confidence in the
          Online transactions as so many companies cheating the custmers in this
          Way. Simple they are trapping the public to pay money to the
          Companies any way without any services or simple paper work by
          Engaging call centers. I had visited so many places, web sites and
          Found no branches to the allied companies any where as the
          Representatives tales. I had asked the standard chartered bank to
          Cancel all my transactions. They had cancelled my account from the
          Bank. There is not account with the bank. Later royal sundaram
          Tarted to call me and harassing me regaularly by calling and
          Emailing. I had asked to cancel the policy. They are not ready and
          Cancel the policy and indeed they are going to threatening me many
          Times by calling. Later the standard chartered bank has started to
          Ask to pay the whole amount by sending sms and emails to me after
          Cancelling the account with the bank.
          So unnecessary i have to pay the premium of health insurances by which
          I will not get any benefit of health coverage as the banks are not
          Well established and not having so many branches and not rendering
          Class of services compared with the other banks and health insurance
          Comanies. So i request you to help me to get rid off this unwanted
          Premium of health coverage. Hope i will get your assistance. My

          Sir,

          Recently I have applied for Home loan at 11, 00, 000.00 from bank of india for purchasing a flat in my native place. initially the branch manager agreed to sanction the loan amount along with registration charges. upon assurance of loan sanction, I have booked flait tickets to and fro. on the date of journey, branch manager contacted me and said that loan is not sanctioned and due CIBIL score affected by Standard chartered bank. I have cancelled flait tickets but no refund from the air authorities. so much loss for the flat owner and myself due to cancel of the program. This is due to Standard chartered created problem using my PAN card which causes my CIBIL score become low as I could not be eligible for Loan. I have not taken any money from the Standard chartered bank and Royal sundaram Health insurance company. but I am facing problems. Royal sundard has given few health insurance papers on the assurance of Standard chartered bank. I have not asked them to provide policy. They have introduced them selves and convinced to take policy on the assurance of bank. later they have accrued many charges and premium amount increased. When I am facing problem with my job, I had paid so much money and finally asked to cancel the policy. royal sundaram not agreed with cancellation. I complained to Standard chartered bank. initially they have closed the bank account. I done have any account now with the bank. Later they have started harassing to pay the total amount. and finally the Cibil score changed. so that I request you kindly resolved the problem as soon as possible so that I can purchase a Home at my native place.

              Dear Bank Lokpal,

              On 7th Feb 2017 (07/02/2017) there is a unauthorized transaction performed on my account Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card for which i didn, t get an OTP and Also the limit is increased which is not possible and was paid in dollars. I neither have a passport neither i went to US.

              I have registered complain against it. I got a refund and i got a message from customer care that it will take 45 days to solve the issue and we will let you the stages of inquiry on my complain.

              But after 45 days in my account they started showing unpaid amount as 40222.76. When i called the customer care they told me they have done some inquiry which i didn't know. The transaction is bared by me.

              There is some hacking and hacking on Credit card going on to which Standard Chartered Bank are not accepting and fooling the customers. And they are telling me that merchants can automatically debit the amount without OTP.

              I haven't done the transaction neither i was known about it and also my card is not a VISA Card for international Payments

              Please solve the issue as they are harassing me a lot.

              Hi sir just now i debit in card 12, 000 thousand rs to paytm but in my paytm account amount is not showing pls rectifie and refund my amount its so urgent

                Sir, we got home loan from standard & chartered bank, rs. 11, 26000.00 in 2005-06 and as per their on record we have paid already rs. 11, 62, 445.77 up to 13 march, 2017 & in this amount contain excess payment of home loan of rs.36, 545.77 but i sended a mail to bank on[protected] with the request of refund of rs. 36, 545.77 in our a/c immediately which was already paid by us against home loan amount of rs. 11, 26, 000.00, in-spite this bank again withdraw rs. 2, 81, 061.77 dt.[protected] against my home loan from our home loan a/c no.[protected]

                Kindly u must look in to this matter and ensure our total re-fund of rs. 3, 17, 607.54 (Three lakhs, seventeen thousand, six hundred seven and fifty four paise. With all original registry paper (S) of our house property. And take a appropriate action against the bank and impose justified fine on the bank for this ill-legal act and transfer said money of fine in my a/c.

                  I had settled my StanChart Personal loan in the year 2003.
                  The bank offered closure of account on my payment of Rs.42, 000/-.I was told that I will receive the NO-DUES Certificate within 5days,
                  when I did not receive the certificate even after 10 days, I went their concerned office on Cunningham road, Bangalore at least three times, but the persons who were in touch with me did not meet me.
                  Immediately after that I wrote to the Chairman of the bank on 14/11/2003- but even he did not reply, nor any corrective action taken.
                  The bank had not closed the account- I find this a deliberate attempt.
                  I have been getting harassment calls from various people during the last five years, - this is after more than six years after I paid the amount as told by the bank.
                  This is ridiculous. The bank did not update CIBIL and now the company to whom the bank had sold the debt is harassing me for payment, even after I sent them the proof of my payment.
                  This is clear that the bank is cheating their customers.
                  The person who I had dealt with in 2003 is not traceable - his name as claimed by him was Pramod Pillai..

                  Please help me in this matter.

                    I possessed a credit card from Standard Chartered (SC) in 2006 and made some purchases before moving to USA on my company deputation.

                    Due to this move, my mobile connection was terminated (after no use in certain period of time); moreover I vacated the rented place which was given as correspondence address in my credit card account. There was some delay (due to this sudden move) in making the payment of amount due on my account as there was no online payment option available at that time but I ensured to made the payment of all the amount for which I made the purchases.

                    During my communication with bank in Feb-2007 (over email), I found that outstanding dues on my account were Rs 2000+ for which I was asking bank to provide me ways to clear this amount but I didn't receive any email communication from bank after Feb-2007. In 2014, when I tried applying a new credit card, I came to know that bank has posted Rs 95000+ interest on my account and when I requesting several information from bank (e.g. how long the account was kept open before amount was written off and details were provided to CIBIL, why bank didn't send me statements after Feb-2007, etc.) which bank is not able to answer.

                    This is a miserable situation and it seeks bank is hiding. I have sent several emails but their answer is plain to clear the outstanding dues without giving me information which I am requesting. Can you please suggest me what action I should take now?

                      After demonetization there was an announcement that there will be no surcharge and service tax on digital payment for fuel transactions. I've been charged additional Rs 56.5 + Service Tax + Cess etc..

                      What is the point of going digital when the transaction is charged. This is defeating the whole purpose.

                        My credit card ending with #5715was cancelled without informing in Dec 2016.

                        The bank had charged a Rs.500 over limit charge on my previous card which i had stopped using from July 2016 since it was expired and the bank had sent me a new card to use.

                        Since i didn't understand the details as soon as i started getting the reminders about a payment on the expired card, i called in to the bank and i was told i could ignore it.

                        This Jan, i found out my current card was blocked. when i called in there explained to me it was because of this non-payment on my expired card. Note: there was nothing pending on my active card.

                        I immediately did the payment and raised a request to reinstatement by current credit card. I had followed up multiple times and at last they said, it will be reinstated in 2 days. Since, it didn't happen i wrote to the bank - since the phone banking agents where of no help and only tried to end the call by giving wrong information over and over - they responded saying due to internal policy the bank cant reinstate the card.

                        I very well do know CIBIL score will be one of the parameters the bank would have checked and the bank has rated me low on this.

                        I have been a customer of this bank for 5 yrs. I have never defaulted any payments before. I would like to know why my CIBIL score is rated low and my card to be reinstated, if not the reason for the same. and the reason for blocking my card in the first place

                          Hi,

                          I have opened salary account with Standard Chartered bank in September when they came to my office along with other banks like ICICI, HDFC and others.

                          Standard chartered made lots of false promises and mis-sold product just to ensure they get some employees signing on to their accounts.

                          We were promised reward points / cashback on their account which was much different to what we actually got. We were also promised Kindle as a free gift but this was also a false promise.

                          I have been complaining since then (that is almost 6 months now).

                          Regarding reward points / cashback, I closed my matter after bank apologiesed to me. However, on Kindle, till now they have not sent me the kindle nor they are confirming that it was also a false promise.

                          I have sent many emails (through secure message of internet banking), called up custoemr service, spoken to my Relation Ship Manager and even Branch Manager is aware of the situation.

                          However, even after 6 months, I have not got any update on Kindle or apologies saying this was another false promise from the person who signed-me up for the account.

                          My account was opened at Kalyani Nagar branch, Pune. Relationship Manager Ankush and Branch manager knows about the case. And even after formally complaining there is no response for last 6 months.

                          I was expecting a higher level of service from Standard Chartered compared to other banks but looks like our Indian banks are more honest and better in customer service. Even the online banking features are very limited in Standard chartered compared to other Indian banks.

                            Sir,

                            Myself jagadeesh, fraudulent transactions made on my credit card around 25000 inr in the year 2015 aprox. Now including interest it' 34000 inr (Figures are aprox).

                            I have complained immediately when i came to know this by operating netbanking.

                            Credit card no: [protected] (Deactivated after the trasaction) & erased all the transaction details in the netbanking.

                            Now they are keep on disturbing, i'm not able to focus on my work even.

                            How can i pay when i did even use it. That time i was in abu dhabi and card was with me.

                            I really don't know how to handle, first time i'm facing these kind of issue.

                            Please help me in this regards.

                              Hi there,

                              I had bought mobile phone on 14 Jan 17 form amazon and opt EMI option and the mobile phone was not working so I had asked to Amazon to refund the amount. As per term and condition the amount has credited to SC credit card account by 21 Jan 17.

                              Logically, The EMI option should have closed at that time only but SC has credited the amount twice and when I saw a statement EMI has been already reflected which should not be happened...

                              And when I called to customer care, they are saying that you should have called us to close EMI.

                              Now because of twice credit I have to pay to SC the complete amount of mobile. which is not acceptable...

                                I have applied for Standard Charted Bank platinum-rewards credit card on 22nd December 2016. I also got calls more than 2 times for verification and entire query were resolved. But I have not received Credit Card till date. My application reference number is #CCO011A1RV.

                                After complaining, I got to know that they have lost my documents and asking me to resubmit the same documents in a hard format but I refused to do the same because they already have my documents then why I should resubmit the same documents, the concern is where are DOCUMENTS?

                                And I have sent so many mails to them but no response yet received. Their NODAL OFFICER (Nodal.[protected]@sc.com), PRINCIPAL NODAL OFFICER (Principal.[protected]@sc.com) and SERVICE HEAD (Head.[protected]@sc.com) all are the same, “No response”. Though they are mentioned in ombudsman on their website but the problem still exists.

                                It is a concern of Customer’s Confidentiality. I would never suggest for Standard Charted Bank.

                                  Hi, My self Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi my PAN card no is AJFPD3415Q. I was using credit card issued by Standerd Charterd Bank on that credit card i have a loan which i have sattled in april 2013 with as per bank agreement but In CIBIL Account it not show clear. for reference letter receive from bank attached as attachment.
                                  Kindly clear my CIBIL.

                                    The person from SCB has been so rude always and has not got any moals on how to speak to a customer. She speaks as she is the owner of SCB.

                                    There had been delay in payments because im planning for complete closure of to settle the accounts and i have already spoken the same the senior executives of the bank and writing emails stating the reason delay in payments as im pregnant due to health complications.

                                    But this cruel lady has no empathy, all her calls should be monitored the way she speaks and how harsh she is been always, and first she should be taught basic customer service.

                                    And moreover she have started calling all family members and disturbing them asking for payments, which from my side has already been communicated.

                                    There should action taken against her for sure . Her name is Pavithra, SCB - Chennai - and her department no is[protected].

                                    Please do the needfully.

                                      I had settled my StanChart Credit Card in 2008. I obtained a no dues certificate from the bank and after 4-5 years I started getting their emails for payment of dues.
                                      This is ridiculous. They did not update CIBIL and my report is still showing dues of almost Rs.5 lacs, which is very huge and it is not my fault at all.
                                      I have replied to their emails since then providing them with the proofs still they are not ready to edit this information with CIBIL.
                                      The person who I had dealt with in 2008 is not traceable and the bank is saying that there are no accounting entries in their system regarding the payment. I paid one cheque(rs7000) and cash(rs8000) total of rs.15000. I am trying to find the entry in one of the passbooks through which I paid the cheque. But it is difficult to recall the records of 9 years ago.

                                      Please help with this matter.
