I am B.Lakshmi Rajyam, there is a problem during my ATM money transaction at Guntur. I have not received money during transaction but Rs.20000/ was debited from my account.Full details are given below.
On 28 June 2012, I need to withdraw amount of Rs20000 so myself and my husband went to the ATM at Jinna-tower center-GUNTUR and there are two ATM s in that room. Then we went to one ATM (S10O[protected] and checked for mini statement (Txn No: 9409). After that he punched for Rs.20000, then no amount, no slip has come from this ATM. Then we went to next ATM (S10A[protected] in that same room and punched for Rs.20000. Here also no amount and no slip has come and one lady (who did transaction before us) told me that in this particular ATM, at a time Rs.20000 will not come so you try for Rs.10000 or 15000 in single transaction. Then my husband punched for Rs.10000 then there is a comment on display that this much amount is not there in my account and no slip came this time also. we kept on tried for 2 more times and same display came. I checked during my next person transaction and he punched some amount and got the same, no excess amount has come to him. After 5min there is power cut inside ATM room. We were standing there only, then one SBI official came to ATM with empty hands and went inside ATM room. Security person has closed the shutter asking all o[censored]s to come out. This that official was there inside for 10min and came out with free hands (during this time there is no power in ATM room). We told him about our problem, then he replied that if your amount is debited mistakenly then it will be credited in one hour time and he suggested to go and check our balance at other ATM where power is available and give a complaint at Nagaram palem SBI Branch GUNTUR. Then based on the ATM security person & official suggestion I went to some other center ATM and checked for balance and found that Rs.20000 is debited from my Account. After that complained at GUNTUR Nagaram palem branch & REPUDI bank(home branch) also. After 10days we met Guntur –Nagaram palem branch people and they said that no error code is seen in transaction, so 20000/- was withdrawn from ATM and we are closing the complaint. But I have not received any amount &slip from ATM. Please help me.
Later Repudi branch manager also told that reply has come and no error in transaction and amount was withdrawn from ATM (second ATM ID: S10A[protected] in that same room with transaction No.1870, (here only I was told after my first unsuccessful transaction that more than Rs.15000 will not come in this ATM. Then as explained above I tried two times for Rs10000 but display came saying try for less amount)). It is impossible as we are waiting at that ATM for around 15min after transaction and no malpractice has happened. I am using the Debit cards from long period, never happened this kind of problem. I have not withdrawn amount from ATM IDs. S10A[protected] or S10O[protected] available in that same room. But I have been given a reply from SBI home branch REPUDI that amount is withdrawn. Kindly help me in this regard.
I am sincere and Faithfull by nature and There is no need for me to give any false complaint about ATM transaction. There are two evidence I have are, 1. One lady who took money before my transaction in ATM (S10A[protected] is also present and witnessed my unsuccessful transactions (I don’t know that lady, you may trace her and enquire).
2. You may confirm through the CC camera footage available in that ATM.
I sincerely request you to check the CC camera footage in ATM ID: S10A[protected] on 28th June-2012 around 12.20Hrs in our presence. If it is proved that I am wrong, then I am ready to pay for the expenses spent for study of CC camera footage. We don’t know how that ATM software works and how that error code comes but my case is beyond any doubt. So kindly help me in this regard and do justice to me and credit my amount as early as possible. Kindly take necessary action to get back my amount sir.
