Pensioner Sri Ganesh Chandra Mukherjee, P.P.O. no. Rly 3937/15131 Rev. was deceased on 04.09.2010 (A/C No. [protected] of Bank Code 0095). Stop payment letter of S.B.I. Main Branch, Jalpaiguri vide no. Jal/Govt./MC/10-11/87 dt. 18.09.2010 to C.M.(C.P.P.O), S.B.I, 83/1A Vivekananda Road, Kolkata -700 006. All relevant papers of his wife Sudha Mukherjee (A/C No. [protected] of Bank code no. 0095) have been despatched from Jalpaiguri vide no. Govt./64/10-11 dt 04.10.2010. Even my messenger attended on the said office in Kolkata on 03.12.2010. Accordingly again the stop payment papers were sent by me to the office in Kolkata on 09.12.2010 by speed post. But no reply or action has been taken yet. Moreover one reminder was issued on 18.11.2010 by speed post. No reply has yet been sent by the C.M. The incumbent is in acute financial crisis.

Govt Bank Employees — Govt Bank Employees

Hi, I am Rajesh From Hyd. I have been to so many govt Banks in the last couple of months. The service is very bad and the employees of bank are very rude and they spent time but they wont work properly. I have faced lot of problem thrice while i went to take DD. Especially in SBH Banks. Employees are too old to work and having B.P's. I would request to change the system are change all the employees and give a chance to unemployment youth. They are unfit and the answers they gave is very rude and reckless.

Please Help the public
Complaint should be checked as early as possible and required steps should be taken as per the importance of the situation.
I have applied for a Net Banking Password twice with SBI, Darjeeling Branch but have not received it.
The first time I applied but did not receive the password, I enquired from the lady-in-charge who told me that my application had been registered. However, she told me to reapply as I had not received my password.
I reapplied about a month ago but am yet to receive my password. The bank has neither given me a password not a reason why the password cannot be delivered.
The Bank officials where I have my account are at a loss as to why my password isn't being delivered, especiallly since my address is one of the most well-known schools in Darjeeling.

    Yesterday i.e 14 december 2010, I booked one ticket from New Delhi to Rupnagar via Train No.12057(old train no.2057) i.e UHL JANSHATABDI worth Rs.142 by online IRCTC facility trough my SBI ATM cum Debit card. When I saw the mini statement of my A/C there were two transaction of Rs.142 each to POS PRCH but only one ticket has been booked so one transaction is extra. My A/C no. is [protected] in SBI branch Rupnagar, IIT Ropar where I am student.

    So plz sir return my Rs.142 to my A/C as soon as possible. The details of my failed attemts at the time of online bookimng of ticket on 14 december 2010.

      IRCTC have approached me over Telephone from Chennai about SBI Railway Card and accordingly nextday one of IRCTC agent came & collect relevant documents/photograph with the application in Mumbai. He told me Card would be provided within 15 days.Afterthat I have not received any call or issued with SBI Railway Card.I will not be responsible for any transaction/loss made on the card (if issued) since I have not received the Card till now.

        Sir,

        Subject: Harassment due to Abusive Recovery Practices,

        Your bank/company had allured me and issued your State Bank of India's (SBI Card's) credit card. Presently credit card Number is [protected]. I have been meticulously and regularly asking your bank/company to submit your bills in original and paying amount of credit card upon receipt of bills.

        2. I and nearly half a dozen officers of your bank have exchanged frequent telephonic talks, SMS's and emails letters, and representations in person, in connection with payment of your undue claims, my unresolved complaints and grievances.

        3. I have been paying, however, I have declined to pay back amount charged to my account which is not relating to my actual use and charges, penalties, taxes etc levied for no fault on my part.

        4. Since your frequent SMS's, emails, abusive and insulting telephone calls are causing me undue harassment, mental and emotional tension, inconvenience, expenses, agony, waste of my costly time and discomfort in addition to defamation, I have decided to initiate legal action under Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006 or The Consumer Protection Act 1986, in addition to filing FIR's against the defaulting staff and recovery agents of the bank.

        5. I add that Bank is indulging in unfair trade practice, illegal means and extortive approach. It has grossly violated and continues to breach:

        A] Code of Bank’s Commitment to Customers of BCSBI

        B] Fair practice code and collection policy mandated by RBI

        C] Under mentioned master circulars of RBI on Credit Cards:

        a. RBI/[protected]/32
        DBOD.FSD.BC.17 / 24.01.011/ 2007-08 dated[protected]

        b. RBI/2008-09/39
        DBOD.FSD.BC.6/ 24.01.011/ 2008-09 dated[protected]


        D] Judgments and directives of hon’ble SUPREME COURT OF INDIA in following cases:

        a. Criminal Appeal arising out of SLP (Crl.) No. 4935 of 2006
        ICICI Bank versus Shanti Devi Sharma & Others.

        b. 2007 (2) MLJ 854 (SC) Manager, ICICI Bank Ltd versus Prakash Kaur & Others dated[protected]

        E] Various provisions of The Consumer Protection Act 1986

        F] Provisions of IPC and Cr PC

        6. Before I initiate action against the bank, its staff and recovery agents, I finally call upon you to:

        A] Stop calling me on phone or mobile or in person by your staff or recovery agents. You should now communicate to me by written letters duly signed and under the original seal of your bank/company and mentioning the name with sirname department designation, office address with pin code, office phone number with STD code, official mobile phone number and email of the competent person who signs the letter, only at my above address followed by emails. Letters be sent by registered or speed post only.

        B] Provide me by speed post and also email within 15 days of receipt of this notice following details of outstanding dues if any:

        a. date of debit

        b. full and exhaustive details of claim with justification.

        c. amount of claim.

        d. supporting proof to substantiate each claim.

        e. Pending bills in original which have not been supplied till date by you despite unlimited number of reminders by telephonic calls, letters, and representations in person.

        7. In case if I do not receive details as above within time limit stated hereinabove, I shall presume that the Bank has no claims outstanding against me in their records. Please do not use abbreviations which a common man cannot understand. As per my understanding from incomplete records of your bills I have nothing to pay to the bank towards use of your card.

        8. I reiterate that, I believe in fair dealings which and I have done my level best by giving unlimited number of representations to your bank/ company and I am prepared to pay to your bank/company the actual amounts spent by me and excluding the amounts which is not relating to my actual use and charges, penalties, taxes etc levied for no fault on my part.

        As already communicated to employees of your bank/company, I am not interested in settlement of any amount or pay less than what is due from me.
        As prescribed by Reserve Bank of India, you have to supply the credit report by charging up to a maximum amount of Rs.50.00 (Rupees Fifty only), accordingly enclosed herewith is the cheque number 041991 dated 30-Nov-2010 drawn on Union bank of India Jalandhar for Rs.50.00 (Rupees Fifty only) towards supply of my credit report, if any, filed by your company in credit rating agency e.g. CIBIL, by registered or speed post only, so as to reach me within seven days from the date of submission of this communication in your local office at my location. You shall also confirm in writing that your company's fee structure is Rs.50.00 (Rupees Fifty only) or less than Rs.50.00 (Rupees Fifty only) for the supply of credit report.
        If you have submitted my credit report, to any other credit rating agency, other than CIBIL also, you shall confirm it in writing by letter under the original seal and signature of the competent employee of your company as explained above and you shall ask for the fee mentioning the amount of fee and the same shall be deposited by me on hearing from you at your local centre at Jalandhar for the supply of the certified and original copy of such credit report by you by registered or speed post only.

        SBI Credit Card — HARESSMENT & MENTAL TENSION BY SBI CREDIT CARD

        I HAVE A CREDIT CARD WITH SBI IN THE NAME OF INDERJEET SINGH OCHANI.

        I WAS GIVEN AN ACCIDENT INSURANCE POLICY OF SUNDARAM ALLIANCE BY THEM IN
        THE YEAR 2007-08 FOR WHICH I MADE THE PAYMENT BUT NEITHER RECEIVED ANY
        COPY OF POLICY NOR I EVEN KNOW THE NUMBER OF MY POLICY.

        I DID NOT REQUIRED THE SAME AS BY THE GRACE OF GOD AS THERE WAS NO
        ACCIDENT.

        THEY HAVE AUTOMATICALLY RENEWED THE POLICY WITHOUT ANY INTIMATION OR MY
        CONCERN & CHARGED FOR IT IN MY CARD STATEMENT OF APRIL-2008.

        I HAVE E-MAILED THEM SEVERAL TIMES HAD VERBAL DISUCUSION WITH THEM BUT
        THEY ARE TELLING ITS AS PER TERMS & CONDITONS.

        HOW CAN A MAN COME TO KNOW ABOUT TERMS & CONDITIONS WITH HAVING A HARD
        COPY OF POLICY ?

        BUT THEY ARE NOT ACCEPTING THERE MISTAKE.

        I RECEIVED A CALL FROM YOUR REP. Mr.ILYAS ON 16.06.08 AT 11.50 A.M FROM No.[protected] & WAS TOLD THAT THEY CANT CANCELL THE POLICY BUT GAVE ME A FLEXIPLAN TO PAY Rs.90/- PER MONTH, WHICH I AGREED BUT HE NEVER TOLD ME THAT THERE ARE ANY CHARGES OF POLICY CANCELLATION.

        EVEN THEN THEY HAVE CANCELLED THE POLICY BUT ARE DEMANDING CHARGES FOR IT.

        AND EVEN CHARING OTHER CHARGES ON IT & CAUSING A LOT OF MENTAL TENSION TO
        ME BY REGULARY CALLING ME FOR THIS SENDING ME MAILS.

        PLS LOOK INTO THIS MATTER & ADVISE ACCORDINGLY AS I WANT TO APPROACH CONSUMER COURT & TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THEM BUT I DONT KNOW THERE ADDRESS & PROCEDURE FOR IT..

        State Bank of India — PATHETIC SERVICES & MENTAL HARRASSMENT

        I had opened my account with State Bank of India 4 months back. I have subsequently asked them to provide me with my pin no. for my atm and also my internet access. I have personally visited the bank at least 4 times. The branch doesn't respond to calls and therefore I have made 4 visits all in vain. Wasted my time and money. Now I have written to the helpline,complaint committee,chairman & dgm of sbi. But there has been no revert for the last 8 days.

        Extremely poor services. The bank is a shame. And to my shock the branch manager is least concerned of what the dgm's or helpline office tells him to resolve.

        SBI Cards Pvt. Ltd. — Wrong Claim of Amount

        I had an SBI Credit card No.[protected]. They had charged me with an amount of Rs.52,085.00 in their August 2006 statement. I called up the customer service desk to enquire about the charges. I was informed that the charges were for usage of the card for purchase of some shoes from a merchant named Paduka.

        I denied any purchase from the said merchant to such a big amount, and requested them to arrange for the signed charge slip.

        I have sopken about this to their Customer service desk a number of times. I sent letter/mails to their Asst.Vice President in Gurgaon. I have sopken to their Area Manager-Mumbai. I have also lodged a Police Complaint in our Local Police because of the harrasment at the hands of their Recovery Personnels.

        All the above has gone in vain and no effect what so ever.

          my self is milind sudame,have a sbi credit card no[protected].had settel the account(no[protected]).for 21500/-.1.jan09-cash-reciept no[protected]/-2.feb09-chq-chq no-515109-amt-7000/-3.mar09-chq n[protected]amy-7000/-4. mar09-chq no-515111-amt6000/-..
          problem is that first three payment transaction is cleared,but last chq payment of 6000/-.thise chq no-515111. was not been present in my bank accont.thise was not my fault.after long disscusion with sbi main branch delhi,they promise me to validate your settelment after you paying the ballance 6000/- amt by cash .i had made the cash payment of 6000/- on date-31/08/09 against reciept no[protected].from my end i am fullfiling the all payment to you.so please close down the my accont ,&give me the NO DUE CERTIFICATE. as early as possible.also do not call me on my land line no(your agency people disturbing me very harrashely).also dont send me the statement also.DO LOOK INTO THISE MATTER SERIOUSLY&RELIVE ME FROM THISES SENORIA.

                    sbi credit card services — Excess debit (4 times0 against single transaction

                    sir.

                    I am credit card hoder of State bank of india. I used my credit card for payment of IELTS exam. fee of Rs. 7400/= to Planet EDU Pvt. Ltd, 101, Greenwood Plaza, Greenwood city, Sector 45, Gurgaon -122001, Haryana (india) on 28th September, 2008. At the time of making payment there appeared a message " Server Not Responding and retry". On retry, the payment was finally accepted. Now I found that for that single Transaction of Rs. 7400 my credit card Account has been debited four times resulting in excess payment of Rs.[protected]*3) to M/s Planet Edu Pvt Ltd. I wound request SBI CREDIT CARD SERVICE to claim the necessary refund and credit the amount in my credit card account immediately.

                        SBI - Credit card division is taking documents and all the information and assuring to give a credit card. After application, the credit card application is rejected. However on corresponding with the Credit Crard division the ground of rejection is not intimated or given to the customer. These credit card division based on our documents provided , a verification call is received, which is also carried our properly and after some days the card is rejected. This issue is happening since long and with many of the individuals. These people are not even discloing the reason for rejection. If the people are not meeting the criteria then why they are collecting the documents and other personal information. Even after carrying pout the verification the applications is geeting rejected.

                        Thsi is a nto a specific case and its been their practise with many of the individuals

                          I paid my bill of Rs 455 ( Bill no: [protected] ,Bill period: 21.08.10 to 20.09.10) using my SBI debit card of State bank of india Agartala Bazar branch on 23rd sept'2010 to vodafone (kolkata).
                          The transaction was successfull.But when I go through my bank (state bank of india ) account I found that the above mentioned amount was debited twice from my account.I have informed Vodafone regarding the problem. They have replied rather confirmed that they got the payment for once. I have attached the transaction receipt from Vodafone, pdf form of my account statement and the confirmation email copy to the bank on 9th october 2010.The bank official said that they will be working on it and the rest amount of Rs 455 will be automatically credited to my account.After waiting 15 days from then i.e on 25th october'2010 I went to the bank again and on that day a complaint was lodged in their system directly by a bank official. The system generated a CMS no: AT [protected] with the status as referred. After 10 days i.e on 9th November,2010 I again went to the bank and the status seems that the bank is contacting with the vendor (Vodafone) for the details.Then I contact with the Manager regarding my problem and again submitted the same document with an application for fast processing and also take a receive copy of the same.
                          Today is 10th December,2010 and till the money is not credited to my account and there is no response from the bank regarding the same.

                          SBI — Money debited twice

                          Dear Sir,
                          I swiped my debit card in a shopping mall for Rs.1397 on October 5th, 2008. But when i have checked my transactions the amount was debited twice. on October 9th, 2008 i given a complaint in RT nagar Branch, Bangalore, where my account is associated with. For every 15 days i am going to the bank, but every time i am getting the same answer "YOU WILL GET THE AMOUNT BACK, BUT WE CAN'T SAY WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN.IT MAY TAKE MONTHS TO HAPPEN "

                          Already its been 6 months in waiting for the money. I lost hope of the amount. I there any possibility of getting my money back.Please help me,

                            My card number[protected] is against a term deposite in SBI HAL branch Bangalore. Through a letter dated[protected], Customer Services stated that the status is changed and hence card will be deactivated.

                            It is to state that the term deposite in the bank remains the same and please inform what is the threat you have perceived?
                            The card has been deactivated and this action has no justification.
                            I expect a satisfactory reply.

                                I have SB account in SBI NAL Branch, I have online banking facility and I used to do most of my transaction using it from past 3 years. I used to do transaction only in office PC or house PC. But on 11 may 2010 onwards problem started 1000 Rs has been debited from my account on that day to some unknown account. Ref is " TO TRAMSFER -UTR= SBI[protected] BENEF A/C [protected]". Similarly on 7 jun 2010 Rs 2500 and 28 jun 2010 Rs 4000 has been debited. This I came to know only after Rs 4000 has gone. I complained to one of the SBI official of our branch he was unable to trace the account no and told to complaint to cyber police. Then I mailed this to cyber police but I dont know wether they recieved my mail or not and finally I contacted Technical support for online banking in the net, those people took my complaint and gave complainrt no. when next time I called them they told phishing is going on. Until now I dont know how and where my money has gone. I have taken new pass word and afraid to use. From then on this transaction has stopped but still I have not able to get back my money or the reason How I had lost it.

                                  Here with i request that please revised my due payment as i received one broacher with last month card statement regarding GIFT 360 there is offer regarding various products from which i order one product that is SAMSUNG LCD TV 22" Product code 2428 MRP 18000/- offer price 15696/- with monthly EMI 1308 and 0 %, if there is more than 15000/- buying than one absolute gift FREE but here with please find attached same broacher offer and bill payment slip received from gift 360 and also notice of over credit payment from SBI CARD.

                                  Now how came payment comes 17491/-, please explain me as early as you received the mail as this matter i discus with more than 7 time with your customer care department officer i have all the records but they didn't understand the same and not give proper responds with answer please give me the answer within 24 hours otherwise i escalate the matter to consumer forum RBI as well as the higher authority for the consumer protection.

                                  i ordered for a laptop and mobile. The items were received after 40 days. Whole amount were recovered from me in one go; not in installments as offered. i do not know if it was done by sbi people or gift360. i wrote. i emailed. both did not give me proper reply. it was not correct to mislead a customer.
                                  i orderd for one laptop and one mobile. The total amount was cut from my bank in one go; not as offered through installment. Moreover items reached about 40 days. Not correct. i only know the discomfort i suffered. not every one is a millionaire- one should help poor people also grow. Best part is neither sbi nor gift360 gave me proper reply. i did spoke to them, wrote to them n emailed them. sbi had gone one more step by reflecting the paid amount twice of the mobile. i pray God guide in them fairness and genuine concern in their dealing. their one little mistake by omission or commission can gave real pain to customers.

                                    I am writing this complaint wrt the Vehicle loan I took from Kannanallor Branch-Kollam 6 months ago. I was remitting EMI regularly, but in between due to my father's hospitalization and surgery I could not pay the EMI for 2 months and I explained about my situation to the Field officer and the Bank Manager- Kannanallor. But i had a very bad experience from the bank side. The manager talks rubbishy and blackmailing with the power of their GUNDAYISAM like a BLADE MAFIA. It is really shameful for the dignity of the nationalised banks to react in such a way to a lender. If thee is a nonpayment till now, the act is understandable. But just for a 2 months pending EMI, such a great scene..itz really really pathetic.

                                    They are harassing day by day with their threat calls and blackmails. I am really very unhappy with the SBI banking Service. Are the managers paying for threatening peoples for a little cause? Is their any right to harass a lender who had mistakenly took loan from them? Itz really shocking and appalling. The bank Branch manager is Rajani who uses dirty language to spoil the mental peace.

                                    I am desperate to write before you sir. Please have a look into this matter. Atleast to treat customers in a good way for keeping the reputation of SBI Bank.

                                      I had applied for sbi advantage card in the month of sept.'10,prior toDurga Puja Festival,and at that time I was assured that a festival Gift Voucher of Rs.1000/-will be provided to those who will apply for the card by 30thSept'10.Due to mistake in writing my address by the card issuing dept.the card got returned by the courier.This mistake was done again, as reported by the courier office, while verifying my address over phone.Conseqently,I got my card after more than five weeks from my applying for the same and after the festival period is over
                                      Thus,it seems totally unjustified to deprive me from Festival Gift Voucher of Rs.1000/-without any fault of mine.
                                      I, therefore, reqest you to provide me the Festival Gift Voucher with sufficient time to use it.
