State Bank of India [SBI] Complaints & Reviews

I have closed my SBI card by doing a settlement about an year back yet I am receiving threatening and abusive Calls from SBI tele callers asking me to pay for the amount i never used.I dont understand if SBI really has any info on which customer had made the payments, when the payments are made.

I have been given the Settlement letter : Tracer No: Bangalore[protected]

I never had such a bad service from any...

i have been associated with your organisation for not less than 7-8 years with no history of default. every time when annual fees is charged to me, i have to contact your help line and get it reversed. last year i have requested to convey to competent authority to stop this business.

I have applied for the S.B.I clerical examination in Trivandrum region.I got the exam call letter.But my category is printed as "S.T." Actually I am coming under 'O.B.C' category. KIndly rectify the error made by you in my category & admit me to the examination on that day....

I seek your help regarding getting back my money from SBI.I had entered into one transaction of withdrawal on 25/05/08 of Rs.8500/-

However, I received only Rs.5500/- from the machine and the transaction receipt was of Rs.8500/- and the same amount was debited from my Account.Then on the very next day I registered a written complain at my branch along with a copy of transaction receipt, that...

I had a SBI card. I had used it long time back. Due to some problem faced from the bank i have destroyed the card and had dropped it in the drop box. I havent used it since 2006. I had used an amount of Rs. 13000/- approx. And i have regularly paid my dues. Now since last year, June 2007 i am not recieving my statement of a/c. I have repeatedly asked them to send the statement but i havent got a positive reply...

Still it goes near by 30 days, i applied for new atm as i lost it earlier in pune, but up to present extent i woudn't recieve the new ATM....

i have not got my admit card till date as i have exam this week .

sir,
on 4th of july I tried to withdraw 3000 Rs but the ATM responded "Your transction timed out" after 10 min I checked my balence it was 5542 / which should be 8542.The Txn No is 7936 and ATM Id is S1AN00126002. please do needful....

I applied for SBI credit card long back. I have given all details in the application form. They took only my first name i.e, Nagesh as my full name on my card & contact address. They ignored my surname in all my communications. Now I want to changes that name to full name i.e, Nagesh Santhapuri

What to do for that?...

I have applied for sbi credit card and submitted required documents. Several times I got phone calls on my mobile and to my office for verification. But "what is the status of my application weather it is accepted or rejected. If accepted when can I expect my card". No one clarified me on this doubt.

I 'm Major Rajeshwar Singh, serving in Indian Army and presently posted at Gopalpur, Orissa.
On 02 Jun 08, i used SBI ATM outside Railway Station Bhubaneshwar. I did all the procedure to take 2000/- but the ATM screen showed "TRANSACTION IN PROCESS" and then "TRANSACTION TIMED OUT".
Before that i had taken out print out for my bank statement, transaction ID for taking out mini statement...
