    Recharged the Sun direct with 3 months coverage on today at 4.30 pm. But still now not connected the channels. I tried a lot of time to customer care but no one pig the call. This is a worst customer support from Sun direct. Pls do quickly. Otherwise I will switch over to other operator.

      2 channels are not working looks completely blank all of a sudden . These channels are already paid which is part of the package recharged till April 2022. When complained to the customer care they say it is because the set up box is old and has to be installed with new one, as some channels are updated with high frequencies, until you don't change the set up box with additional money it won't work. Being a customer since 2009 they are least bothered to solve the issue and asking to pay for the services if technician has to solve this issue and also for only 2 channels not working they are forcing the customer to replace a new set up box by providing extra charges for the same. Very bad CC service and serious actions has to be taken against the company for looting the customer.

        The problem is with ezRecharge the amount has not been cerited to sun direct account.

        Recharge done at 1pm on today. still its showing pending. Money is deducted from my account

            This account was closed in November as the setup box had some issues and was replaced.

              1. My setup box after recharge it's not working, called customer care they are forcing me to upgrade setup box, reason software upgrade- if you upgrade software why customer should take that pain and it's not free of cost we have to pay amount on it? What kind of justice is this and similar thing happened in dish tv they have upgraded with any charges what's special with sun direct ?
              2. Customer care person speaks in such a way I never seen any cc with this worst languages / attitude. Openly they are challenging customer if you want services upgrade the setup box or else leave we don't have any other solution. And he says if you want file a case go and do we don't care. So I want how bad is your customer care?
              3. I know it can working without software updates coz untill today it was working all of sudden it will not ask for upgrade.

                    Setup box not working after software update

                    Hi, I have an sun direct hd setup box and I got an software update on 13/12/2021 time @ nearly 4:00pm..after software update my Setup box not working, I spoke to customer care regarding this issue and I didn't get proper solution for this issue and I asked to raise compilent and I got call from local sundirect office and they asked to share screen shot after setup box was on...they seen the screen shot and told the setup box should be replaced..and...

                    This company named Sun direct has chosen a new technique to steal people's money in the name of OTA UPGRADE.

                    without informing us, they forcefully send a OTA upgrade to set-top boxes and make it corrupted, so that the set-top box should not work again...

                    Then, they will send a technician to change the set-top box and charge 1000rs... this happens as soon as your warranty expires...

                    It happened to many people, it's their new way to steal as much as Money they can...

                    I hope no one will get into this trap, ...

                    PLEASE DO NOT BUY SUN DIRECT SETTOP BOXES...YOU WILL LOOSE 1000'S Of Rupees every year...

                      Hello, I'm Satheesh from Cuddalore district, Tamilnadu. Recently contacted Sun direct for "No Signal" issue. Initially, their response was not fair and they asked me to pay money to get this issue addressed. I denied saying that it's not a consumer responsibility, sun direct or their representative should own the responsibility. As a consumer, I can only pay for the monthly rent. Even after several discussion, they denied and finally took 375 rupees without providing a receipt. With this I completely felt like cheated. Upon further pressure from my side, they have provided the hand written bill which proves they are not professional also they assume the consumers as illiterates
                      Here, are the questions I have it in my mind. Please respond
                      1. Who should own the responsibility in case of an issue in the setup box/installation they initially provided?
                      2. In case consumer owns the responsibility, where it is clearly mentioned about the hardware replacement charge & service charge should be owned by consumer (not oral communication)
                      3. I heard from sun direct representative that they won't provide receipt for all these charges and that's the usual practice they follow since decades. Is that true?
                      4. Finally it's all about the attitude. They denied to answer my questions and bluntly told me to do whatever I can. Also, they quote that everyone is paying without asking anything and you don't you.
                      With all the above, I personally feel that there is no ethic, moral and transparency.

                                Sun direct is taking tax while adding amount to the sun direct account. And they are taking tax again while we are subscribing the channels using the amount we have added earlier. This result as double tax .Need to stop this double tax on their consumers

                                      Ur dealer say reason rain no raincoat etc...
                                      I strongly believe he cheat company and he work for his personal interest only.

                                      Your customer care staffs say 24hrs that 24 hours going to 2, 3 day only time and some call only no use for me.
