I had purchased symphony DiET model one year back and in the last month its warranty gets lapsed. Suddenly cooler stopped cooling functionality and I lodged call with customer service. Company's executive addressed this issue and send one person after 2 days and he informed that there is need to replace Pump of cooler and it will cost Rs.250(Service Charge) +Rs.850 (Pump charge). We did that replacement and on the same day the Fan of Cooler stopped working. Again we called that executive and request them to check. Now this time he informed us that we need to change the Motor of Fan and the original price of it is Rs.2250 but we have taken discounted rate for you to Rs.1850. We agreed to pay and he did the replacement. After finishing his work he was taking out the old Motor claiming that he gave that discount for replacement and he had informed that to us. After finishing his work he was at the point that if you don't want to give old Motor, you have to pay Original amount of Rs.2250 for that motor. There was no option for us and we left old motor with him.
This is what the service we received and within 13months of cooler purchase there was such major problem occurred. I was not expecting such unprofessional service form the Symphony brand. Rather we should have purchased any local brand product.

    I had booked an air cooler at phursungi (Pune) to sivakasi (T. N) on 02/05/16 with a request to booking clerk mr sunil for safe delivery. He assured. The same pack received on 18/05/2016 with fully broken condition. They were charged me rs.1153/-, but the actual rate is rs.569 as per their freight calculator. Now my air cooler rs.3500/- become unusable and totally my money wasted, because of booking in navata road transport. I didn't aware about it's customer review and complaints, when i open site to complaint i found it is an india's largest irresponsible transport co.

      I have purchased a symphony air cooler (Diet 50i) on[protected] in lucknow alambagh location. Cooler was not cooling we went to the shop and asked to replace on same day, we got negative response from their. We called for customer care, a mechanic came and only checked water flow and said is is ok although cooling is zero in this, we fed-up. We again called to the shop and requested to replace as we were highly dissatisfied with this model, shopkeeper again denied. Now we want proper check to this product otherwise replace it with other model. As i have listened about this model that it works good but my experience is too bad because it works like a fan.

        I made a complaint egarding my cooler(100i) on 1st May. A technician came and replaced the pump . After 2 hours my cooler started giving the same problem again. I made the complaint again, the next day and was told that it would soon be resolved. But even after repeated calls to area supervisor, my complaint has still not been resolved.in spite of repeated calls and mails nobody has made a call. I did not expect such response from such a big name as symphony.

          Reference complaint no.: bl-ba-23d16003 date: 23rd april 2016.
          Ninja model stopped cooling within 15 days of purchase (9th april 2016). Customer care given the no. [protected] (Mr. Manjayya yoga) and [protected] (Mr. Dilip). First one and half week mr. Yoga told no material in stock and he will visit once the material arrive. Later, whenever i contact him, he is telling he will visit in one or two days. Last thursday (5th april 2016) he called me and told he will come at 11 am. Between all my duties, i took half day leave and waiting for him. However, after repeated dialing, he called me back at 4.00 pm repeatedly when i am in meeting and told to come fast, i told him to wait for half an hour, but he left my place when he come to know i am at office. It is really disgusting, i thought symphony is good company, but very very poor service.

          I am purchase Symphony winter (desert) air cooler on 29 Apr 2016. but this cooler have cooling problem. i have done online complaint on 30 Apr 2016.
          The company give 24-48 hours for solution the problem. but my problem still continue . no body come to solve the problem .

          After submitting complaint in consumer complaint site, I got call from Mr. Dilip and assured it will be solved within two days. However, the problem continues and now he is not even showing courtesy to receive my call. Through this site, I request Symphony to take your product back if you could not give proper service and please give my hard earned money back. I am very sorry that I purchased your product. It is really disgusting.

          Problem not resolved in more than 1 month

          Cooler stopped wotking within a week of ourchase. Complain is not resolved for more than 1 month now

                Y complaint no. Is bl-ba-28d16019. It was raised on 28th april and is still unresolved. I tried calling the service engineer's number in the sms but it was fake. There is no type of communication from the company's end as well. There is no way to contact the customer service as there is no email id provided and the phone numbers are automated teller machines.

                There was no communication from the company's side. I had to myself call at the customer service for a week. At the end i got the number of the supervisor for Bangalore area - Dilip Nagraj (9379365415) and i could coordinate the service time. Dilip assured me of resolution and provided me with the engineer's number - 9632691994. The engineer visited my place the same day and resolved my complaint. Pls. note reaching Dilip's number is difficult as there is some problem with it's connectivity. Also, in case you want to speak to the customer care executive, call at their number (7930130111) between 1 PM and 5 PM. Else the automated machine will be answering you.

                Hi Team,

                I still haven't received any communication from either your engineer or your customer care team. The engineer's number provided in the SMS is fake! This is highly unprofessional! In case this isnt resolved soon i will have to escalate this to higher authorities.

                  Have bought Symphony Hi cool 31 ltr Aircooler from Croma Kondapur brach on 12th March 2016.

                  From day we have identified it's cooling is not that good.

                  After 5 to 10 mins of cooler usage hot air will blow from it.

                  we have reported it to the particular branch CSD people and the service people are saying that this "item will work like this we can't do anyting "

                    I have registered a complaint no: AG-SH-7D16013 regarding pump is not working and pad replacement, two service boy came and replaced both the part. After replacing pump and pad pump, the new pump is not working. They said it could be possible there is a problem with your switch plate and need to be replaced or repaired. You have to pay 350 rupees to repair. I said just direct the pump supply or connect with other switch.
                    Once they are gone, I filled the water tank and pump switched working fine.
                    My concerns are:
                    1. Why they miss guided the customer to pull extra money for Switch replacement, they don't know pump switch has not worked without water.
                    2. They charged- Pad -Rs 550, Pump - Rs 750, service- 250, I asked him for a bill and part warranty they said we will give you next day, till yet no one came. I have received SMS from symphony like you denied for service and complaint closed.
                    3. Honey pad having major difference in texture between the original and replaced one. I'm question why? they mention company changed the part, Also I have took pictures of pad. Now big issue is fan spraying lot of water in the air I don't know why.
                    I hope symphony understand my query, because I recommend lot of person because of its' design and performance, but I'm very disappointed with serve call. I also saw lot of complaints in Consumer form, but I feel to knock symphony door first.

                        It's been 15 days already for the service which they promised will be done within 24-48 hrs and one technician after lots of follow up visited on the 4 day and did something after which that we started facing another set of problems from the next day, then again we raised a complain and continuously doing follow up but everyday they are saying i am in a different district for service and will visit next day. And when again next day i call they say i'll talk to my supervisor then will contact you. On talking directly to the supervisor, he say, it can't be done today, will be done tomorrow for sure. And again when i called him next day, then again he says his technician has gone to another district service. This is what happening since 15 days and now i have completely fed up with this service and want to throw off this cooler in the symphony showroom and pledge not to take any product from symphony ever and ever.
                        We everyday see lots of advertisement of symphony and we get this kind of response. Really amazing. Within one year itself that means hardly we used it around 4-5 months in summer and the cooler has got serious problem. I don't know what kind of product they are selling. And along with Symphony's service is really mashaallah. What executives are sitting in your service center that i don't really understand. Very very angry on this and i will definitely sue this company.

                          I have filed service request for three times in last 15 days and every time it has been closed citing the reasons that i had been tried a lot of time but i could not be reached.

                          Whereas the real story is that i get each and every call to that specific number from which i filed the complaint but it is never ever "not reachable" as claimed by symphony.

                          I am living alone at the moment in my home and in normal days, i am at the office. Service engineers have made a fool of me two times saying that they are reaching at the home in some time and i took leave from office to attend to them but no one appears. When i call them, suddenly all the contact numbers are switched off.

                          No one calls till two days have passed from complaint registration and after that it is a nightmare for me. They make false commitment and never agree to their own mistake. They blame me for their incompetence.

                          Yesterday (Sunday, apr 17, 2016) in the morning i got a call from service people to send person to service but no one called and appeared. I had absolutely shared that i live alone and already wasted several office hours for servicing to which he said someone will come today without an exception, to avoid any further wastage of my time.

                          Yet again, i get a call today morning saying that he has already reached and wants me to leave my office work to be present there at home. When i told him to come in evening, he said ok and within few minutes, my complaint was closed. How promptly the action is being taken to close the complaint without resolving it. If the same amount of energy had been used to resolve complaint, it would have made clients happier and loyal. But why would they?

                          It has been more than 13 days since i filed the complaint for the first time.
                          What a service. I really repent this purchase. I have two coolers of symphony and this service level is really way too poor.

                          My advice to everyone out there is that never, ever buy from symphony. Product is costly and good but service is absolutely pathetic.

                          Symphony — 12 t diet cooler

                          Complaint is not attended in last 34 hrs.Purchased a new symphony diet 12 t air cooler which is not working in 8 days .Lodged a complaint with dealer and symphony, both of whom have not responded.In summer they are telling to wait till monday, don't know what will happen on monday .Why you sell so understandard products.

                            I would like to draw your attention towards my complaint. I logged a service call to fix the water spraying issue and replacement of honeycomb pad of my symphony diet 22i cooler on april 10, 2016. The nearest so called pathetic authorised service provider called kashyap sales and service, said will try and send someone on the same day which they did not. On april 11, a guy named rahul with his phone number [protected] came with a fresher and replaced the pad and charged 300 for service and 359 for the pad. While calling this pathetic centre a girl picked up the call and told me that service charge is 300 and for the pad it will be 500. I kept telling her that while placing the service call on the ovr it clearly says that charges for the replacement of any parts will be as per the spare parts list from our website. She kept arguing about 500 rs stating that delivery happens from ahmedabad and we have to pay all those charges hence you are entitled to pay that. Anyhow the guy did not charge me extra but damaged my cooler and messed up something with the motor. On april 12 morning the cooler was turned off on its own and me along with my parents did not realize it at that moment that it got turned off on its own. I went to office and then came back in evening, while trying to turn it own. It did not work, hence; i called up the service centre people with the numbers they provided. No one picked up my calls for 4 days. Yesterday evening a guy named pramod kumar, answered the call and spoke for a minute to hear what i had to say about my problem and then hungup up on me without listening to the complete issue. I kept calling him after that but he never answered. Finally i called up a landline number mentioned on the service call receipt and the same lady picked up and handed over the phone to a guy named deepak, who said that promod is not here and no technicians are available at that late evening hour. I understood the situation but asked when can the technician come and check the issue. He said tomorrow before 10 am they will be there, surprisingly no one came, i called back and i was told that before 11:30 am the technician will appear. Finally the technician named anand who is again not a professional enough along with a helper who is again a fresher named madhur, which anand told me on my face came and starting opening the pcb box. He without checking told me that the fuse is gone and needs to be replaced but he does not have a new fuse. Then he said i can try and do some workaround by using a copper wire to make it work as a fuse which he did and asked me to turn the switch on by plugging in the wire in an electronic board. The moment i turned on the switch, an explosion happened with a loud sound along with smoke, which damaged the pcb and tripped my house's mcb box. Luckily mcb box was installed in my house, else it would have caused more damage to my entire house's wiring system, god knows may be caused fire too. He again did something on pcb box and asked me to turn on the switch, which i did and again the same explosion happened. Then he said the pcb box is also gone and the company has stopped making this one. I can again try and give you a work around by making it direct system but the remote wont work. Basically, it will on start and turn off from main switch. I said i am not okay with that and he should fix it properly. He said let me try. He opened all wires and connected them directly and asked me to turn on the switch, third time the same explosion happened. I was totally pissed and asked him why the hell is he messing up with the entire thing when he does not know how to fix. He should at least open the back panel and check the wires from inside, they might be touching each other or something, which is causing such issue. He then asked the new fresher to open who did not even know how to completely open the box and almost damaged the body of the cooler. I had to tell him that he has forgotten to up all bolts and then he opened the last one and again with a screw driver he opened the back panel improperly which made the plastic body to get damaged. At that moment i lost it. I told him to work properly. He said you do not know about these things and hence let him do his job. I kept quite with anger at that moment. To my utmost surprise, he then showed me and told me that the motor is gone and damaged and infact the plastic piece holding the motor is melted, which could be due to water must have came near to the motor. I told him that the last technician did not do his job correctly and left the black cover over the motor loose, and told my mom that aunty let it be like that and more than that i cannot do much to stop the water coming out from the front air panel. My mom did not say much at that time but told me about it and i ignored it as the cooler was working fine on april 11 at least. The worst part was that even after knowing that the plastic has melted and motor is not working, he again did something with the wires and asked me to switch it on three more times, the same process repeated and the same explosion happened which caused more damage to the entire machinery system of the cooler and left me with nothing but a messed up cooler. I then lost all my control and asked him to fix it or get it fixed as it is all their fault due to no knowledge to fix things and poor service to make the customer pay and increase their business. He then called someone in his office, which turned out to be the same lady who handed over the phone to pramod kumar, and i finally spoke to him about it in details as what all happened. He then promised me that he will make sure that the cooler is fixed and he will personally visit my house along with the culprits. He told me by 5 pm today he will be at my home which he is ofcourse not visited and hence i am writing my complaint here as symphony does not have any other way to write a complaint. I now want symphony a good brand that i thought but its not, to take an action against such poor service centres that they have taken to provide servicing and replacement of parts to be serious on this complaint and take necessary actions against this firm which does not know how to provide service and putting the company's name in dust. I am waiting for a response at the earliest in next 24 hours,

                              Recently i bought diet 22i tower cooler. Within 15 days there is problem with water pump and it has stopped working. Even after registering the complain through sms (Complain no hy-si-31c16008) there is no communication from the service center. No one even bothers to know the problem. It has been 4 working days and we are struggling in high summer heat. I regret buying the product from this company.

                                I have ordered a symphony winter i air cooler on march 25, 2016 on snapdeal with order number [protected], a defective air cooler is delivered on march 30, 2016 which doesn't pump water on cooling pads & also gives water level warning even if water level is proper & doesn't give any cool air. I have requested symphony service center to fix my coolers problem and they promised 24 to 48 hours to resolve the problem, it has been 4 days already & no one has come to fix the issue. And every day a new technician calls asking what the problem and address to come but doesn't turn up.

                                I am frustrated with the symphony service and the mechanic calls every day and don't know why i need to give address to everyone

                                    I bought this useless cooler (Hi Cool) on 6th May 2015 from Adishwar dealer in Chandanagar Hyderabad, since then I have been suffering with this pain. Immediately after buying the product it was not working properly then had to raise a complain. To my surprise no one attended me even after one week. Then I had to reach out the dealer management for help. With very great difficulty service executive came and replaced some part. After one or two days there was no cooling once again I had to chase symphony executives and dealer for service after about 10 days service executive did a great favor by attending me (when dealer Adishwar pressurized symphony guys) and told me that air pump that came with cooler is a small one and now they have replaced it with correct one. Summer was over by then.

                                    Now a week back when I took out the cooler, I realized that cooling issue is still there and once again I am chasing dealer and Symphony.I raised the complain number AK-25C16001 on 25th May. Call center guys SLA is 48 hours now its more than 72 hours no one is bothered. Dealer management and my self spoke the ASM of symphony for my region and he has instructed his staff Mr. Trimurthulu and Surender but still they don't care. Symphony guys does your employees care a damn to higher authorities?

                                    In 10 months I raised 3 complains and due to this I hardly used this stupid cooler. When ever I speak to ASM or dealer, service executive surender calls me and every time he asks my detais (where do you stay what model etc) He called me 4 times but never attended to my problem. When I tell him that I have already given the details several times to you, he says some stories.

                                    Symphony...You guys are cheaters and your service absoutely of low and CHEAP CLASS. Even last time I raised a complain about your service executives but I beleive all of your are alike. When I call the service center they just have one answer "SORRY FOR THE INCONVIENIENCE" apart from that they don't know any other thing

                                    Guys dont even think of buying Symphony products...If you do so you will dig your own grave

                                      I raised complaint for my cooler service and engineer took 2weeks to repair. After repair he had taken whole charges of RS. 1800/-. and not provided the bill for same yet as he told me that he will provide bill through mail. The moment he left after an hour my cooler shut down totally. Not sure what he repaired and what he charged for. This is my previous complaint on which he worked for.
