We do not have power at our residence for the past two weeks..
.upon repeatedly requesting eb staff came and told that here is cable fault and temporarily have borrowed power from neighbour...
It has been two weeks and no one has yet turned up to fix the problem..
No one is picking the call either including AE.

      Sir I am a consumer in Anna Nagar West ..my service no is 168:020:41...my reading was taken on 13.10.20 and the amountwas 3430 RS ..on that day for 750 units .till the last date the mount shown in my mobile was 3430 RS...but suddenly an amount of 423 RS was added to my amount and totally I was advised to pay 3853 RS ..I called EB office for the explanation but even they said they don't know..I was shocked but no way to delay the payment as this may lead to DC ..so paid it and till now I called the EB concerned authorities who said they have no idea...423 RS I paid finally without any valid reason..pl clear my doubt why it was added at the last minute and without any valid reason...pl lessen the amount in this month EB charges as ther is no justification in that amount of 423 RS..I am yet to pay this month amount..if you pl do it sir at the earliest it would be helpful...

        We registered and paid Rs.9968 for 3 Phase new connection on 17th Dec 2020. Because of some reason my new connection request was rejected by TNEB on 19th Dec 2020. We were waiting for the refund amount. But still now we are not received the refund amount.
        When the amount will be refunded?
        Please help us and provide the status on refund amount.

        We raised complaint in TNEB official site. But they just closing the incident and not providing any update for that issue. Still the paid amount is not refunded. Please help us and provide the status on refund amount

          Respected sir, I am ullikkottai in Mannargudi taluk in Thiruvarur district.In my house, I got a electricity bill amount of RS.5402/-, but we didn't use that much of electricity in the past two or four months.But, they have provided Rs.5402/- for this month December 2020 bill.Please, take this and clear this issue as soon as possible sir.they have mentioned last date for payment is 13/01/2021.

            Wrong meter reading in EB bill

            Address: 1123 2nd floorflat no 8 Thayar sahib street2nd lane mount road LIC back side Chennai2

            Dear sir / mam

            I have a problem with EB bill payment. You have marked extra reading unit in our meter.

            On previous month - 12/10/20 consumed marked unit is 12270

            This month unit - 14/12/20 consumed marked unit showed as 12810

            But now we gone and take reading on today 23/12/20 it shown 12499 unit

            As per it shown as you have marked 229 unit. As if even if you take...

              Dear Sir,

              This brings to your notice that, this month 11th Dec 2020 your E.B department personnel came and took reading, by mistake or oversight he took wrong reading. That is he mentioned as 12860 as the reading shown meter reading. On 17th Dec I received the bill, for Rs.5146 for the unit consumed 1010. I was shocked, immediately I went and saw the meter reading and took a photograph, (which I attached here with) the reading on 17th Dec 2020 is 12666 only, which means he noted 194 units higher side as on 17th Dec 2020, if we calculate 11 units per day we consumed.

              So the reading is probably 12666-66= 12600 If the reading is 12600 so[protected]= 750units. Consumed.
              Accordingly, the bill has to be raised. Kindly check &

                Recently one of the step down transformer got damaged in my area, only two TNEB helpers came to fix it and notified (with no necessary transport or man power to lift the transformer) windings are blowout so they wanna rewind the core we helped them physically and arranged our own transport to help them.
                Our area had two transformers on same pole to support the load, TNEB helpers came and removed the connection to the working one to make us pay Bribe to them.
                And we are affected with irrigation to our agricultural lands.

                When we are paying the bills and tax to the government why should we pay bribe to Helpers of TNEB.

                They are asking to pay Rs 300 for each agricultural pumps.

                        REMINDER.
                        I have already made the following complaint on 8.12.2020 and the same is yet to be resolved.

                        "I have made a payment of Rs.650/- to tamilnadu electricity board on 26.11.2020 vide transaction id[protected] using bharat billpay in bhim app. But the transaction was not successful. However the said amount was debited in my bank account. The amount is not re-credited in my bank account even after the lapse of ten days. I request that the amount may be credited in my bank account without further delay"

                        Now it is more than 20 days of my filing the complaint. Please recredit the amount of Rs.650 immediately to my bank account.

                        Payment not yet received even after making the complaint on 8th December, 2020
                        The failed transaction dated 26.11.2020 regarding payment of Rs.650 to Tamil Nadu Electricity Board made through Billspay in BHIM app is yet to be re-credited in my bank account.

                        I have already made two complaints in this regard. It is very much unfortunate that no action to resolve the issue is taken so far.

                            Today our flat power got disconnected due to non payment of bill by tenant and subsequently paid and connection. We got abnormal billing of more than Rs.12, 000.

                            But our tenant noticed that, when disconnected our line and another flat power also gone down and after payment both the flats got power.

                            We are suspecting another flat owner knowingly connected to our service line and taking electricity, we are requesting to take immediate action.

                              My resident add: 2/3 paramanandha mudali st., seven wells, g.P.O., chennai 1. In our house past 15 days cablebecome fault. Eb person contact the single wire with junction box and gave the eb supply and told that next day they will come to attend the fault work.

                              Till now we are having eb supply with the single wire only.They didn't atten the cable fault. Kindly arrange to repair the cable fault.

                              Kindly do the needfful, we are suffering the lot difficulty.

                                      Sir, I have To Construct a House On Plot No 25 in Sekar Nagar Opposite To Vanchilingam Hospital in Pudukkottai Road, Nanchikottai Panchayat. Over My Plot Electric Lines are Passing. I Have Written a Letter By Application to Remove The Lines On[protected]. But I have enquired the Concerned assistant Engineer Several Times. The Assistant Engineer told that the Commercial Inspector Senthil Will Do the Needful. I am Ready to Remit the Amount For Remove The Electric Lines. For the Past 363 Days They have not done any Work Regarding the Removal. Several Times We have Remembered. But They Have Not Bothered. I Kindly Request to do the Needful for Removal Of Electric Lines.
