Hi. This issue is from ernovoor circle eb (Jyothi nagar).
Last 2 hours no power. We tried to contact the eb several times to know the power cut status. They not even bother to update. Thus is not a first time. Whenever we calling this eb no. It's always engage sound.
Pls take necessary action against this issue. And requesting you to solve the power issue urgently. Thanks in advance

    Tneb workmen did junction box raising work today. After they went mcb tripped in my house having 2 floor connections. When we investigated with our else tricia he said high voltage (Line coming) in the neuter inline. Registered complaint to local and at call centre. Four hours no one has come. My 78 year old mother bed ridden and dependent on power for air bed is my main worry. Shoddy work by workmen. What do they care?
    Don't they know difference between neuter and power wires? Sad.

      There is often Powercut for long hours in sakotai, periyar Nagar, avvaiyar street, Kumbakonam... During sumers they are keeping a shutdown process.and they are Powercuting during midnight is very much sleep disturbing...one day fully there was no power during last week..incase of asking about what is the problem they are saying there is problem in grid...today there is no power for 4hours... unnecessarily they are doing Powercut. ..please fix it.

        Sir,

        This is to highlight there are few cases of excess billing or consumption found in our apartment complex, there were few residents complained for excess billing to tneb last billing cycle and it was confirmed that it was correct. Current month the consumption was 860 units compared to last billing cycle of 500 units. I checked the meter recently and found on normal day it was 7 units per day. Even you consider for a day average of 10 units it should not cross 600 units. Moreover couple of elderly people not at our place for a month of this current cycle hence tv and other appliances were not used. Considering the fact we are little surprised and skeptical on the consumption which was reflected in the bill and in the meter. Kindly advise so that we can pay the amount. Due date is 15th october

          Very frequent power cuts daily at odd hours & further up to 10 power cuts in a span of couple of hours. Phone nbrs to the concerned office at perungalathur east is always engaged ranging from 15mins to an hour plus continously.
          Very careless attitude on the phones if and when reached. Such frequent power cuts has already caused an electronic commodity to breakdown the same day.

            Respected sir

            I am thangaraj my service no [protected] hereby the mentioned service number units of current was maximum 380 kw units for past months/years but this month the reading vwas reached up to 980 kw units. It seems fault in current measuring meter. We are not using any high voltage electronic devices in our houses regarding this issue i asked reason to our official staff who takes reading in my house but he is not giving any proper explanation and his way of answering also not good. But he (Reading taken men) was false reading taken in past months and he also monthly charges collect in my bi monthly unit current.in this present situation am a not able to pay rs 2986 in this hug amount so hereby i was requesting you take necessary action and make immediate steps concern eb persen.

              One post is slightly bend so the main wire is loose and sparking regularly and the distance.

              Also distance between two post are too long hence the main wire is very loose and not in specified height

                From 2 days current is off in our area royapettah chennai. We are complaint at eb office. Every time madam told that just wait for half an hour, we will check, but two days gone, no one else came and check for current off. At home kids and old age ladies trying to adjust in this situation. But how much time it will take to repair it. Please try to understand our bad situation and please send your mechanic to repair it.

                  I paid my EB Bill on August 2nd by ICICI Mobile banking. Actually, amount is debited but not paid in TNEB. So, I raised complaint to ICICI customer care. They said, amount is transferred from bank, and they have given below detail about that transaction. Kindly, check and reply to me.

                    There was a fault in the cable after the government did some repair in the road. We paid rs.2000 for the replacement of the cable and they put the temporary cable, they told that they would come the next day to fix the permanent cable. But they didn't come, now they aren't responding, they are asking for more bribe else threatening to cut the electricity.

                      My tneb service no[protected] last reading was taken 24.07.2018 and this month reading is take 24.09.2018 in between 62 days came. In that issue excess 2 days my reading was read more than 500 units at the time of read 517 units. In bimonthly method 60 day once reading is take. In this month bill amount is RS 1912 if 500 units runs i am only pay rs 1130 . I am loss rs 782 by tneb mistake. So please file the case against...

                      Hi,
                      I'm living in arulprakasm street, ekkatuthangal, chennai.
                      In my area (Arulprakasam street) we're facing frequent power-cuts.
                      At least few hours a day you're disconnecting the supply in the day time. During the night times, you're disconnecting for hours (Minimum 2 - 3hrs). But, at the sametime, power supply is always there in the near-by streets, munusamy street etc.
                      Apart from this, some times, you people disconnecting single lines.
                      Not sure you people playing everyday on this, like a hobby. Every day we suffer a lot. Not even summer, this is the same case for during rainy & other seasons also.
                      If i called, your people not attending the calls. After many trials, they come and they says its corrected. But after few days again the same story.
                      When are you going to solve people's grievance?

                        Dear sir/madam,
                        Last month reading is not taken in my house scno.[protected]. When i visited eb office on[protected] and informed the bill collector about reading not taken. He informed me that he would come on3-10-18 to my house for taking reading.
                        After i left the office he has sent message for bill payment stating consumption 300units bill amount rs 530./-
                        My sc readings are as follows:
                        16.07.[protected].09.18. -7443
                        21.09.18-. 7457.27.09.18-7475
                        01.10.18-. 7486
                        As per above readings actual consumption readings is 7443 and unit is183. Accordingly likely bill amount is between rs 145 to rs155.
                        Hence i request you to look into the matter and rectify the mistake in computer and enable me to pay the right amount between rs 145 to rs155 before the pay date.

                          A rat has been caught on eb pillar and burnt for past two days and formed a stingy smell and now became a life threatening one. No persons can stay inside the place next to the junction and workers are prone to serious fever. Inspite of continues complaints to the officials of local eb no action has been taken and no proper response for calls. We going to try to take it out with own hands and officials has to answer if anything wrong happens to us and fellow people.

                            In my New Home Connection my name was wrongly entered as CHINNIYAPPAN instead of CHENNIAPPAN. How to change it and please advice what are the steps to correct it.

                            There is no lights in the lampposts at Matha Kovil Street sowriplalyam CBE.
                            All the lamp post are fused or damaged since three months.
                            Drunkards have it as safe heaven.
                            Please check and arrange for new bulbs or repair the lamp posts.

                              Dear sirs, mr. Tamilmani, s/o sivapunniam (Late), veppankulam village (Madukkur eb), pattukkottai taluk, thanjore dt, tamil nadu is pilferaging power from eb connection (Free borewell current for agri) located at land survey number 181-8 to another new borewell located at land survey number 181-9. He is taking the current for about 250 feets distance through cable planted under the ground and using it only in the night.
                              In day time, he is not using it so that no one notices it. Kindly do the needful and take appropriate action. This theft is happening for the last one week. I came to know that this is a strong offence and i request you stop it immediately and take severe action againt the person.

                              I am stay in Chidambaram pallipadai area.last 3 days every night 4 0r 5 hour power cut problum. Today 10.30 pm will be stoped power cut still now time 3.11 am.. Nobady answer pick my call tneb office, line man .
                              Pattukkottai (t.k) Madukkur north TNEB (Pin 614903) periyakkottai road, Nera LVR School Transformer most of time LV line power failure it was happen frequently called EB landline for assistance not working.

                              Their regularly affect residence 3 house no power most of time kindly do necessary preventive measure to minimize power failure.

                                I request you to take necessary action on mr. Aleemullah for forging a signature of all legal heirship member without their knowledge, and got new eb connection under his name genius meter serial no:662356 & sc. No:[protected]

                                Request you verify the fake signature of their brothers and sister which is illegal act as per central government section 464 in the indian penal code

                                Please consider this in high priority and take necessary action to disconnect connect which is forged by invalid signature on following address: 11/6 meccapuram 1st, llyod’s road ch-600005 to avail electricity.

                                Myself, and my brothers masood & samiullah have objection to stop his electricity immediately.

                                Your swift action will be much appreciated.

                                  Sir in Kaatangulathur eb office call number is not reachable all time they cut the current always at anytime without a intimation. Daily there is power cut in our area, if we try to contact them there number goes to not reachable state and sometimes they attend the call but give excuse for 15 mins but they cut Current for 1hr and above pls take action sir pls accept my request sir

                                    Its been since 2 days we have fluctuation in our apartment. When i cald the customer care number, the person on the other hand says that we need to give application demanding the eb to change our cable wire into a higher voltage and even give the request to increase the power in each flats card. But into my notice i see an illegal wire which is connecting to our building to take the current from our building without our notice, we have also complained to the customer care about it but they seem not to take any action. Can this be resolved from your end??

                                      we are from Poondurai area, Erode...In our area E.B they were not responding to our complaints and they were talking rubbishy to our area ladies.If the rain slowly rains within a fraction of the second they would poweroff.In our area 600 families are there. Our area lineman not giving respect to our area and you should take severe a action on them. There is no power while I'm filing the complaint sir..They would also power off while there is no rain situation also sir...So please take necessary action to solve this problem sir.please sir..Yours truely Poondurai area people Erode..
