I Am Residing In The Above Mentioned Address Having A Domestic Service Connection Bearing The
No[protected]. I Received A E.B Charge Demand Dated 23/11/2017 As Rs 3459.00 For Consuming 640 Units With Due Date 13/12/2017. I Calculated The Amount To Be Paid For 640 Units From Your Bill Calculator In The Tangedco Official Website It Shows Only Rs 2704.00. Then I Lodged A Online Complaint About The Discrepancy In The Website On 04/12/2017. But Till Date No Response Has Been Received. And Also I Tried To Communicate With The Phone Number 1912 For The Online Complaint Status. There Was No Response. Then I Approached The Official Concern In The Section Office, Paramakudi Rural To Rectify The Defects. They Have No Answer About The Excess Amount Levied In The E.B Bill. Today It Is The Due Date For My Bill Payment, So I Paid The Amount Mentioned In The Bill Rs 3459.00 With Protest. Later If Any Negligence Or Deficiency Of Service Has Been Done From Your Side Kindly Adjust The Difference Amount For My Future Bill.

    I have applied for an additional EB meter through to tangedco one day service scheme on 30th May 2018, after 35 days yesterday some of the officers came to my house for the inspection, my wife was questioned by them for purpose of meter they have been explained by my wife, but the officers could not understood her words they keep shouting and laughing them self.

      We live in an apartment with 3 floors. Almost all apartments have window air conditioners in their rooms. We do too. We are just two people in the house and hardly ever switch on our AC.

      The bill amounts we've been receiving for 2-month period have been unreasonably high over the past couple of years. We've complained multiple times after which the EB guy said we had a bad/old meter. He replaced it by charging us Rs. 4, 000. Not much has changed after that.

      This month's bill shows Rs.10, 100... I ask - What could make up a EB bill of 10, 000 rs.? Would it be 2 hours of switching on AC at night? Our neighbors in the same apartment complex laugh at us because their bill is never more than 2000 rs. in spite of them using AC and other appliances much more and theirs are families with 5-6 people too.

      Don't know how but the EB folks seem to have control of what bill amount they assign to your consumer account; they were able to even reduce the amounts for a couple of months when we complained (sounds iffy)

      This has been going on for way too long; Like I said - we've complained multiple times with no help and luck.

        Ref: meter excessive reading: service no. [protected]

        Dear sir/madam,
        With reference to above meter number, we would like to bring to your kind attention that the meter is defective and is always running excessively. I have already posted online complaints several times and there was no action taken.
        Please consider this letter as urgent and do the needful. Also we cannot bear huge amount due now, hence please help on this.
        For a 3 member middle class family, can we expect to pay rs. 9000 as eb bill. Someone is stealing power and i think this is running in others account.

        Kindly change the meter with a new one and suggest a proper amount to pay.

        We had been away from home for 15 days and surprised to see hike in UNITS. Often we had tapped surges created by intruders in neighbour SDU setup by other country and they force technologically to make us complain against TNEB and if we do not complaint we pay for 2 months a bill of around 3500

          Gopalachari, i am getting excess bill rs.4156/- in june 2018

          My previous bills were rs.550 to 990 only but they wrongly

          Calculated 6.60 rs. Per unit. But i am using 2 fans 3 tube lights

          1washing machine, 1 fridge only kindly look into the matter

          And get me the reimbursement

              We have single phase for home but the electricity not available only for our home. Near by forms (Three phase supply) and near by homes (Single phase) has supply. A helper from tneb manikandan visited home, checked and said he will come back but he is not coming back nor he is not attending our calls.
              We have two very elder people more than 80 age and one 60 age is living in the home which is inside a farm. Please do the needful asap

                In my village power distribution transformer 1 phase h fuse flown frequently due lake of maintenance and load not share properly.
                This issue has not yet settled from 1years ago.
                Particular area who sharing that phase has effected frequently day and night.
                In day some one change that fuse in 1 to 2 hour times
                But in night time no one to service.
                It's get difficulties to sleep children in night time
                Very very worst service in this area last 1 years

                Children get seek due to sweating and cannot sleep well

                  Hello sir/madam,

                  The transformers placed at the entrance of achuthan nagar 1 st street, ekkatuthangal, 600032 is at very bad condition. Due to the rain 2 days back, it fell down with a power cut all night. They had just kept stones to balance the transformers now. It may fell easily with wind blow or again a rain. Please take actions immediately as there are chances of electrical leakage which may cause severe life damage.

                    Iam living in ponniammanmedu for the past 15 years and there is power cut for the regular intervals and today from the early morning from 1 am to till 7 30 am but still the power supply not resumed and i have a child and old age people in my house and also there is a lot of mosquitos in our area and the eb personals not picking up the phone and please resolve the issue in the urgent manner.

                      Im residing at korampallam.. For the past 10 days there was frequent power cuts which lasts for 4- 5 hrs ad even whole night.. Sterdy night fully no power.. Many babies and old people r there in our area.. Since mosquito menace was there all people ate siffering during nights. We already made a complaint but no response from ur officials. Kindly look into the matter and resolve it at the earliest..

A late fee of 12(bpsc) was also collected for the CC Charge of 65(in the month of June) No proper explanation was offered for the arrears amount. Kindly explain the charge or do the needful and revert the amount as advance for future consumption charges.

                                  This is to informing you that continues we are facing the evening phase issue in our outlet and same we was consult eb technician of our local area, he is name is perumal, last week also we was given 3500rs to clear the eb permanently in our outlet but still we could not able to find the permanent solution.
                                  Even still now also one phase issue is obtain on our outlet morning we was cal'd to the eb person but still now no one reported.

                                    We residents o[censored]tthra garden a layout at chittanapalli nallur road hosur require a separate transformer as around 75 plots are there in our layout and 06 houses are already constructed and another 07 under construction. We face frequent powecuts, low voltage problems. Sometimes there are power shutdown at night. So we kindly request the eb authorities to solve the issue and install a new transformer in our layout

                                      Hi i am residing in abdulkalam street ashtalakshmi nagar - guduvanchery near by permattunallur and vellammal school

                                      In my area i face frequent power voltage issue, it may be high/low, due to that my fuse carreer always getting tripped and per day im changing the fuse 2/3 times, which is making irritation. Neighbours also facing same issue in the 3 phase we are losing daily 2 phase down due to voltage.

                                      We face this issue frequently in our area, could there be a solution?

                                      Tneb staffs please help our locality to be use our electricity utilities without flauctions and voltage problem.

I was in leave in that period. My Fridge was on. After coming from leave i saw my items of my Fridge damaged.Plse connect the line.

                                        Getting over 258+ volt at day time and 265+ volt at night in one of phase connected to my apartment. I had raised complaints about the voltage problem at tneb website, but no one fixed the voltage issue. Eb personal just had visited and didn't do any thing. But they have closed my complaint saying no issue with the voltage. The problem still exist. The address is "menaga sudar, annai indira nagar tpkm chennai"
