Meter no [protected], chennai. I have registered two complaints on tneb customer portal and awaiting their reply.
My house is not occupied and locked, i had been to tneb office to set the account as lockedout after which i did not receive any bills. This month, i received a bill for 3100 and was told to pay. Upon complaining to tneb office, tneb officers came to our house to check the meter and found that the meter was faulty due to which it was running even though there was no consumption. I also showed the house that is vacant and lockedout. Also confirmed to them that in their system my connection has been set as "lockedout". But they had told me to pay this bill as nothing can be done. I wanted to know why i should pay this bill when there was no consumption. I had also stored the electricity consumption card with me.

    For the past two weeks there are frequent current cuts lasting for 3-4 hrs in madipakkam as on the day of complaint 23rd june. There is no response from madipakkam eb when we call their number. Please assort 1912 number again to chennai. When we call 1912 number the agent who picks up the call says that number is allotted to karroor area and not to chennai. Where should we chennaites make complaints then?

      M/s m. D. Fab_ unit-ii is functioning on rental agreement basis at m/s gg enterprises, ellaiyamman koil street, amutha nagar, melnallathur, thiruvallore.
      The eb main power supply is very low; not able function welding job work.

      My residential in elangoadigal street pallikaranai.there is frequently power cut in morning and mid night we cant able to sleep during night itself.today we facing issue of power cut in 12 am but still power is not came now time is 3.41 am.how they think people can sleep in midnight.

        Same here . no current for the past two hours now in madipakkam as on June 23rd, 1 pm. No response from madipakkam EB. Why is 1912 number not taking chennai complaints? Where should we complain?

          Respected sir/ madam,
          Am complaining against Mr.N.Venu (assessor ) from Thiruvennainallur, Villupuram Dt, Tamil Nadu who works in TNEB as assessor. He additionally owns a business ( Idly/ Dosa batter ) for that he illegally using residential Electricity. Apart from that he owns a A/C and it's running 24/7 but paying only less than 1000 as Electricity bill by doing malpractice and looting Electricity.
          Already many complaints made at local higher officials but no action taken so far.
          Please look into this.

          Fifa World cup has started. Today my house electricity to my TV was cut for no apparent reason by the local TNEB without any valid explaination. Please ensure normal supply at least for the period of World cup. Thank you.
          Recently everyday night 10 pm power cut is happeing in Puzhuthivakkam area. When we try to reach AE or call centre no response and they disconnect call. Not sure how this needs to be taken up...its serious issue power cut in night times.
          We are living in Mettukuppam Bamban baba Nagar. Okkiyam Thoraipakkam area. Last 3 days street lights are not working.
          Please rectify this.

            For past 3 weeks till now every night its been power cut for 6/23 Namachivayam street triplicane chennai. Please do provide some attention to rectify this many times we habe complainted to 1912 number no one is responding. Sometimes the whole night with whole day its been power cut. Please do some respond and rectify.
            In our area Dharmaboopathy Nagar 3rd Street medavakkam Chennai, in particular houses alone there is a frequent cut off and low voltage issue occurs. Have complained to EB number of times. But no permanent solution. Please rectify immediately.

              Lastrology few weeks we people of tambaram are suffering from current cut. The current cut is a almost about 6 hours daily. And they take current mostly during midnight. All school going childrens mens and womens are getting restless because of this current cut. Today (18th june 2018) they took current from 16:40 - 20:40. Then after the current cut is from 22:30 to 1:30. We are ok with current cut due to some issues or for week off maintenance. But this current cut is totally making us stressed and sleepless nights with mosquito bites. Please do take action.

              My residence at Manohar street periyar Nagar Pallikaranai . There is frequent power cut at mid nights for more than an hour. This mid night it's been more than one and half hour, no power here. Kindly take necessary action against it.

                Hello sir,
                In my area, everynight the voltage readings will goes from 170v to 190v. There is nearly 1500 family presents and we are request to our eb office still no response. The problem is analysed that we have one transformer for all 1500 family and so only voltage fluctuation happen. Kindly take my request to further action. My area name is kottakuppam which is located in villupuram district and vanur taluk.

                  We have been facing frequent electricity disconnections in alandur area, vedagiri street. This happens every day during the night. And whenever we make a call to check, there is no response and only once there was an information stating an issue with the transformer. If they know there is an issue with the transformer then why can’t they fix it. It’s been almost three months and there is a frequent service disconnections in the area.

                  Neighbors with childrens and babies or suffering alot.

                    Here, i am registering a complaint on behalf of the vengalapuram phase, tirupattur. There is a frequent power cut in this phase without any prior notice. The person on this department is not responding for the details of power cut properly.
                    The other phase has proper current facility but only in the velan nagar the provision of power is not proper. So, i kindly request you to take steps on this particular issue on vengalapuram eb office.

                    Power got disconnected at 12:30 pm and waiting till now at 9:30 pm at Mannarai, Tiruppur. I do not know where is the maintenance at this time.

                        A person in kaniyur village mr. Rathinasamy patta no 13, comes under thirrupur district madathukulam taluk having a agricultural land in jothampatty.

                        He got a permission for free current of 10 hp for his agricultural use. But that person is running four bore well submersible motors continuously and looting the ground water. The bore submersible motors consumes more than 20 hp power and he has two wells that consumes nearly 12.5 hp power. He didn't fix any dd switch for the change over of the power. So please take necessary action against this and save our ground water for our surrounding areas.

                          They are frequentlly off the current at night timing 11 to 6 so we cant sleep properlly at night. If we called them mean they did't pick up the call also very bad customer satisfaction. For example they first switch offing the current at 9.48 mean it will take exactlly one hour to come, after that they will switch offing at 11 -12.30, 1.30-3.00, 5-6.00 like this timing they calculate and switch offing the current this is very very bad because...

                          My house is at no 51, rosary church st 2nd lane, santhome, chennai 4. From 14-jul-18 midnight 12 power supply got interrupted and since next day noon 12 it was not resolved. Again from today evening 6pm power supply getting interrupted. After 9 pm till now there is no power supply. Plz check and resolve the issue to get uninterrupted power service.

If it's raining means no issues but it's so hot how can we people sleep in nyt... If we called the customer care number means it's ringing but no one is attending the call...                             My residence at rangasamy street keelkatalai which comes under moovarasampet eb service. There is frequent power cut at mid nights. Last mid night no power for an hour. This mid night it's been more than one and half hour, no power here. Last week also same problem at mid night. This is so ridiculous, if we call eb office, number is busy, sometimes they say only two at work, they will come and fix it, till that v need to wait and there is service issue coz of overload. Is this causes tolerable at mid night with crying kid, experiencing such a worst eb service. Take necessary action immediately.

                                This is to inform you the consumption of eb bill has subsidy of 100 unit from tamilnadu government amma nalla thitam in tneb. Previously in online site if we calculate the eb readings 100 units will be
                                Deducted for eg total consumption 580 units after deducting 100 unit 480 units will be charged and it will be reflecting in online site from tneb official site for consumer but for the month of april and may the subsidy has not applied and in online site also previous subsidy is not reflecting. Kindly take an serious action aginst this issue and do rectify asap.

                                  In my area a person running kulfi factory more than 8 months he is using residential meter and illegal usage of power. He is using power without submitted proper documents to tneb. I'm complaining for social welfare so please take action against this and teach a lesson for consumers do not participate in this type of activities

                                  Am calling for ambur eb office from 2 hrs nd no one is responding ...am sufferng from low voltage current from 22.00 nw the tym is 1.10 pls resolve as soon as possible nd also i request u pepole to upgrade ur net work for good responce.
                                  We are facing from last one week electrical fluctuation in our area already we have informed to foreman but there no response from him
