    I'm A. Mohamed Rafi residing in Ambattur. Im getting excess unit consumption and bill amount for the past few months. Previously we had a single phase connection where it always had a problem. As per the guidance of EB person in our area we have changed the connection in to three phase and also the meter box. Since then we are getting a doubled amount .

    Kindly requesting you to address this issue and to check the connection as early as possible. Until the query has not been cleared we will not be able to pay the amount.

      Address: 3rd cross Street, Mummoorthy Nagar, Chromepet,chennai600044

      Streetlight is missing in the end of 3rd Street, Mummoorthy Nagar, Chromepet, Chennai 600044. It is not replaced for many months, due to which many drunkards choosing this Street to consume alcohol in the evening that too in public where many women's and girls used to return home after their work from office/school/colleges. Kindly take necessary action and correct the mistake please.

            kindly check these numbers, for past few months you are charging very huge amount as EB bill.
            Really kindly check for past 1 year also we wont get this much bill, during corona lockdown period we are getting huge amount to pay.
            For reference i have attached meter reading, my usage also. pls tell me what calculation exactly?

                My name is SUBRAMANIAN and I am the owner of flat no 6C BLOCK NO 5, KENCES BRINDAVAN APARTMENTS, KILPAUK and my electricity service no is [protected].

                My flat was vacant from 1st March 2021 since the previous tenant vacated on 28 th feb 2021.In the month ofApril I received a bill from electricity department for an amount of Rs 3694/-.I informed them over excess billing.

                That time I was informed that due to corona epidemic, last few months average was billed and the same would be adjusted in the future bills.Hence I paid Rs 3694/- as per the bill.on 26 th april thro net banking
                .
                But to our surprise, we received the next bill on 2nd july 2021 for the same amount of Rs 3694/-.As I mentioned alreadr, no one was staying in the flat from 1st march to 30 th june 2021.Hence we again talked to your people in electricty dept.They came immediately and after checking, they informed that the metrewas defective and they will change the metre.Meanwhile they ask us to pay the new bill also
                .
                Kindly note that it is not fair on the part of electricity dept to charge some abnormal amount for the period during which no one was staying in the flat.Hence kindly arrange to charge the minimum amount for the past 4 months and credit the balance amount to our acct and oblige.

                      Dear Sir,
                      On TNEB website it is asking me to pay wrongly calculated 32736 amount of arrear charges for period of 10/2020 to 02/2021 although I have already paid 4948 on 31/10/2020, 3760 on 31/12/2020 and 5674 on 28/02/2021. After analysing I understood that I paid electricity bill of 15706 on 31-08-20, same 15706 I also paid on 30-04-21. Because of meter found defective in December 2020, my bill was made average 15706 from October, 2020 to February 2021 in each bill cycle ((4948+3760+5674+32736)/3=15706) From oct 2020 to feb 2021, because it was winter season so bill of 15706 every bill cycle was not possible.
                      Because of Arrear bill I am not able to pay bill online for MAY & June, 2021 amount of 8380 also. So I request you kindly consider last year amount for bill generation from october 2019 to February 2020. Please correct bill.

                              Dear Sir/Madam
                              Our meter is running correctly from the installation however could be due to some manual reading errors it has been marked as defective and we are charged for an average of 500 units. However we have been charged with continous meter reading also from the next month onwards.
                              There by we are charged for additional one term with average amount.
                              They should have replaced with new meter once marked as defective or only charge with average Units until the Mater is replaced. Since there was no replacement of meter we have been charged continuously and also with one average units of 500 additionally
                              despite the meter was working perfectly.

                                B2 - Air conditioner line was directly connected Main line (Before Meter input). I identify this theft yesterday only. Last week B2 member gone to outstation on Saturday Morning. They forgot to switch off AC. So I try to switch off main. But AC still running continuously. Herewith I provide the information below

                                        Today reading noted 1470 units Rs.5872.
                                        Last time nobody came to take reading and bill date 13.05.21 - 410 units of Rs.860 charged and remitted in due time. This time wrongly charged Rs.5802 instead of Rs.5476
                                        1470 units minus 410 units = 1060 units only.
                                        But they have charged excessively for Rs.326.
                                        Please rectify this issue Sir.
