Dear Sir, I residing at No.15, Sridevi Amman Street, Meenakshi Apartment, Subash Nagar, Chromepet, chennai - 44 My consumer Number is [protected]. My distribution Number is 342. On 29th Sep 2014. Meter reading has been taken. While recording the Meter reading, the reading has been wrongly recorded as 35150 instead 35750. Also the consumption of the period has been recorded as 30 Units instead of 630 Units. Please I would like to correct this meter reading as soon as possible. I would like to make the payment in Internet . Kindly help me to correct the reading. Thanks, S.Ravikannan

    I gave a complaint for meter fault, on 16/09/2014, TNEB officials visited home after i got mail regarding the meter fault confirmation on 17th sep-2014 stating that meter will change soon. But it was more than ten days completed eventhough the was not changed yet.

      My consumer no.[protected] meter has been dismantled on march 2014 by the Mr.Kannan -foreman along with his subordinates.He has collected Rs. 800/- as disconnecting charge, also he said the receipt will be given latter. But It has been noticed after 4 months of dismantling (July 2014) the billing of minimum amount and a deposit amount is reflected in my account. when it was complained to Assistant Engineer, EB office West Tambaram, they are not responding for the same. Without an EB connection and meter how can they charges amount from us. Please do the needful action.

        Sir, I live in a prime area in Mylapore. Often, I'm annoyed when people like LINE MAN or some other comes for bribe and knocking my door each and every time, Even they don't mind its a MID-Night.. Can anyone tell me is that necessary to pay them, where is not my call of complaint or general service? Actually are they getting paid ? Or I didn't called them?? Why do they demanding such ??? It was so embarrassing and indecent way of behavior. Many often they do service in blocks away and particularly come to my home.."Insane" I'm not sure why ?? Someone clear my doubts ??

            MY SC NO.[protected] With reference to my above connection, earlier my meter was faulty and it got replaced on 25/08/14. I paid the arrears of lump-sum for the period when the meter got struck on 12/09/14. After fixing I suspect that the meter is running fast and I found that some other cables are connected into our meter. In this regard, I informed the AD, AE and Lineman and so for no action taken. By way of this, we only get affected for faulty/excess consumption. The lineman came and fixed the meter and taken bribe for the same and when call also not responding. AD is directing to AE and he is not taking any action for the same. In this regard, called the customer-care, online complaint but no action taken so for. Concerned authorities please take immediate action and rectify the problem at the earliest. Ramasubramanian. K

              respected sir, last year november i started civil alteration work in my home, that time our area eb officers came, and change the tarrif from house to shop tarrif, they told the reason is, during civil work we charge shop rental tarriff..then i accept and pay the electricity bill in shop rental tariff..after completing work i informed to our area officers in surulipatty and also giving the letter to change tha tarriff from shop to house rent in last february..but still now they are collecting shop rental tarriff.. i dont know the reason why they are still maintaining shop rental ..i request you to kindly change the tarriff to normal house rent tarriff pa

                  Hai Sir/Mam, I am staying, No 42A, Mosque street, Gopalapuram, in Gudiyatham town, Vellore city, in my home there is no power connection past two days, so that my mother went to written the complaint in EB Office, after two days also passed but no one EB members come and check the Electricity connection, didn't come and repair the power connection, Its really bad people services, kindly enquiry that exact EB OFFICE Location, and provide proper power connection to our home, Thank you.

                  From past three days their is no power supply to my office
                  I have called 20 to 30 times to all the numbers which is in our area and
                  I gave called the 1912 also complint no 377 but still their is no response from u r Sid
                  Three day before came checked and said cable fault
                  So plz take action against tneb office incharge

                    even after informing the local eb office engineer, still the tariff has not be changed from commercial (construction purpose) to residential. We are following up for more than a year and still no response. after many months, name has been changed from constructor name to my name but still the tariff is not mentioned and we are forced to pay more money eventhough the electricity consumption is less. need your help. vepampet, tiruvallur district

                      In Magakalam Village there was a transformer failure from 15/9/2014 to till today.
                      When we are asked about the transformer failure to the respected J.E & A.E & D.E sirs. They are IRRESPONSIBLE for this. Particularly J.E NOT RESPONSIBLE for this case, due to this transformer failure -
                      AGRICULTURE was really affected, more agricultural lands was not well irrigated and lands was dried.
                      Many common people are affected and they got loss of money. So, Please kindly repair the transformer failure
                      and increase the agricultural development.

                          The street lights in the VGN Blooming Garden in the Mugalivakkam area opposite Pon Vidhyashram School are not working for some time. Please look into it. The EB staff have cut number of trees in this area brutally. The trees have been grown by us with great care and effort. I would like the EB staff to cut the required branches only keeping in mind the depleting green cover.

                            Hi, We have been experiencing frequent power cut in Urapakkam; there is not intimation of any power cuts either. Further to this the complain / customer care number "[protected]" in Urapakkam is not working whenever there is a power cut. This has some other effects like there had been thefts at least 4 known cases so far this month (believe thieves are using these power cuts). Would appreciate if you can take necessary action to have minimal power cuts / outages and the number to active most of the time. Regards,

                              I am residing at old No. 53, New No.6, 3rd main road, R.A.puram, Chennai-28. For the past three days out of 3 phases one phase is not working which resulted in non functioning A.C in my house as well as the lift is not working. I and my co residents contacted Ph nos 24937383 and 28524422. Several times we made complaint. To-day I went to santhome E.B .Office in the morning and met the A.E and told the matter. He replied it will be rectified. But nobody has attended. Without lift elderly people find it difficult to move out. This is happening frequently atleast twice in a month.                                       For the past 1 week we have NO power from 12 to 9 at Gandhi nagar. They are trying to set up a transformer for new residence. We do understand that this happens while setting up power for a new buildings but would it take 1 full week to set up a transformer for new residence.
