Before the beginning of ILP(Initial Learning Program), I was given a URL "https://www.tcs.com/careers/xplore". Upon logging in to this I get various courses related to coding i.e. Python, Java and some other courses like UI, UNIX, MySQL, etc. I was learning all of these things by heart. In the technical interview, I was asked various questions related to database, I answered them properly. They even asked me the questions which were never covered in my BCA course but because I was learning on my own I could answer those questions. In the HR interview I was asked "Why should we hire you?" I told them that I was working very hard on my technical skills. This all gave me the impression that I was hired in TCS for coding. Like why would you ask such questions while taking the interview if you don't need a person for this kind of requirement?
When I joined TCS, I was given some mandatory courses to complete, why did that course cover "Important points to note while using an open source software in your code?". Then suddenly after one week I was called to join a support project which doesn't involve any of this development work and the RMG forces me into that project. I came to know that they were forcing many of the BCA and Bsc IT students to join that project because of the mentality that a BCA student can't have any skills. The RMG didn't even ask me what skills I had before forcing me into "xyz" project for 3 years which won't even utilize the skills I have. That project could even be done by a 6th standard student then why was a BCA student hired for that purpose? Dear TCS, please hire 6th standard students to do that kind of job.
After all of these things I resigned from TCS. After resignation, they started asking me for the 50k bond money. Like I joined TCS on 5th August 2021 and resigned on 17th August, 2021 and these people are asking me for 50, 000 Rs bond money along with the salary of 3 months just because they got a "Service Agreement" signed from me.
I know 3 more people who were scammed this way. Suppose TCS hires 40, 000 people in a year and 4, 500 people resign due to this scam, then TCS earns 4, 500x50, 000=[protected] INR. That's how you guys are rich TCS? They have a main website Ultimatix which is used for most of the purposes, but it is down throughout the day when people need it the most, i.e. it can't handle much traffic. Can't you spend little money to buy more hardware TCS? You lie that you care for your employees.
They scam legally, first they get the "Service Agreement" signed by the TCS employees(especially freshers) and then they create the situation for the employee to forcefully resign and then they threaten you to pay 50, 000 Rs. They provide you coding courses and then they throw you in a random support project. They hire you on the basis of "coding questions" they ask in "Technical Interview" and then throw you in a "support project" which could be easily done by a 6th standard student.
This complaint will remain here and I will keep spreading more awareness about this scam in the social media.
