Tata Docomo- Irresponsible dealing of your Employee on SIM activation
Application for porting of my phone number ([protected]) from Airtel to Docomo given on 18.11.2015 to M/s Surabhi Stores (POS Agent code:[protected], Market Road, Eloor, Cochin-683501.
I received SMS from DOCOMO on 18.11.2015 that your request for MNP is registered successfully 17833556. MNP porting code is AL 931348. On receipt of my application, my agent informed that the SIM will activate within 10 working days. I think, the name of Docomo representative who collected my application is Vishnu.
But, the SIM did not get activated even after 2 weeks. Despite repeated requests/follow-ups made by Agent with Mr Vishnu, he informed that the application has already been handed over to the officer concerned.
Since no SIM activation done, one fine day, I asked Agent to return my application immediately. The matter was communicated to Mr Vishnu and for which he informed that the application was misplaced and due to this, SIM activation was not done. He also told that he will inform to the officer concerned for expediting the SIM activation. But, it is known that neither the SIM activation was done nor the application was returned. After a week, I approached my agent again and told that I will complain against Docomo employee for his irresponsible dealing and asked him for informing to Mr Vishnu to communicate to the officer concerned. But, nothing has happened for SIM activation and I am disappointed about Tata Docomo's service.
Please note that I received back my application after making follow-ups only on 10.12.2015, nearly after 22 days. The scanned copies of my application are attached here for your perusal.
I would like to request that the concerned authority to take an action against the employee concerned or warning him so that people like us don’t have to through this kind of thing and situations again. Name of DOCOMO will also not spoil.
