Below is the complaint i raised to Photon including their nodal officers =================================================== Token No : M22995030 With time and considering the Brand Tata Photon has built over the years, one expect it to be a responsible organization. However things are getting worse day by day and only focus is on increasing devices sale. This time my Photon No is [protected]. For last 2 months my internet speed on any day isn't more than 512 kbps (max) while the device taken is for 7.1 MBPS. Infact the speed is so worse that you have to wait for results even for simple query made on google search engine. I already contacted customer support and it was told me that issue is known and there is no end date of resolution. I request you to kindly disconnect my connection with immediate effect and i am not going to pay any bill when speed is worst than even 3rd world internet service providers. What also surprises me is that the issue doesn't restricts to my location and next month i am relocating to Faridabad and i tested the device over there and found similar speed. Considering this i am left with no option but to disconnect and look for a new vendor. Below is the reply i received. I am sharing so as everyone become aware of what they are going to deal with after purchasing the device ================================================================ Hi Mr. Puri, We refer your email dated 25th May 2015 regarding slow speed and disconnection for your Photon number [protected]. In continuation to our telephonic conversation on [protected], we would like to inform that the area you have referred to is a highly congested area (high number o[censored]sers using internet service at the same time). The improvement in speed may only happen if the congestion on the sites goes down, which can’t be predicted at this given point in time. At Tata Docomo network augmentation is a continuous process, and we would like to assure you that all necessary actions would be taken on the feedback shared. The disconnection request is raised for your Photon number [protected] on 26th May 2015 and the request number is[protected]. Our Photon Care representative shall get in touch with you within 48 hours with respect to your request. Please note that the connection will be deactivated on 2nd Jun 2015 unless notified from your side. The current outstanding in your account is Rs. 1386 and Due date was 24th May 2015. We would like to inform you that the bill date for your photon number is 7th of every month and you will receive the final bill for the period of 5th May 2015 to 2nd Jun 2015 on prorate basis. Your bill amount would be approximately Rs. 1330 including the service tax. Thank you for surfing with Photon. My reply on same ===================== Hi All, Why shall i be paying the bill when i am provided with a 2g speed for 3g high speed connection? I have paid bills without any issues in the past but not gonna to pay freefund without any reason. You can bill me revised for final settlement for the speed you have provided but not for a high cost 3g speeds. Please note that you had received the bill for the period 05-APR-2015 to 04-MAY-2015 as per your tariff plan irrespective to the usage. Hence, we are unable to process your request for billing adjustment as the same is not applicable.

We would like to inform you that the bill date for your photon number is 07th of every month and you will receive the final bill on prorate basis.

Dear Sir,
Did you guys even read the complaint or are just concerned about receiving bill? I have been using Photon for years and always paid bill. But why should i pay any bill when connection sold to me is of 6.2 MBPS and speed i am receiving is worse than even 2g connections on mobile? Upon raising complaint about the speed, i am being told that this issue is already know to Tata and your area lies in high network usage zone and we don't have any timeframe for resolution of complaint. What kind of reply is this
???? This led me to raise the disconnection request and i have already specified that i am not going to pay fake bills of 6.1 MBPS speed. Revisse the bill and charge me for pathetic 2G connection, you receive the payment within a day. But i am not going to make any payment of existing bill given and ready to go to any court and waste my time.

Also 4-5 days back one of your executive called me and upon listening the scenario he told that he has raised the request for revision of bill and you will receive revised bill. Now again today i got a call from another executive demanding payment of previous bill. Don't you have synchronization between executives?
Guys this is the reply which i got to above mail..It's beyond imagination that how brands are behaving in India after making a customer..In the whole mail there is still no mentioning about targeted time frame for slow speed problem removal in the area. They are not ready to make any adjustment to bill despite knowing that speed promised is way beyond what is being delivered...

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. We will ensure to provide you with the best of services going forward.

We tried to reach you at your number [protected] on 09-JUN-2015, however the number was not responding.

Please note that the connection will be deactivated on 02-JUN-2015 unless notified from your side. The current outstanding in your account is Rs. 2669 and Due date is 24-JUN-15.

We regret to inform you that we are unable to provide any adjustment as the same was charged as per your tariff plan irrespective to the usage.

      for last two months network speed is very very very poor. customer care reply is -heavy usage area no time limit when issue will be resolved disconnect if you want, we cannot resolve and don't know how many years it will take to resolve .this behaviour is a very big black mark on TATA surname. mr.romendra issar photon no: [protected]

        dear sir, My photon no. is [protected] . my residence is at 25b/1 rafi ahmed kidwai road kolkata -16 . From past one month i am facing low speed issue in my locality. i tried calling customer care but they say sorry we cannot help you because the area where you are using this device is under high utilized . So sir i request you to kindly look into the matter and resolve this issue right away because i am unable to use net form about a month . I tried speaking to Mr AASHISH head executive but he was unable to resolve my problem . Hope you will resolve this and take this matter on priority basis. thank you..

          Everytime when i call or sms one msg displays TATA DOCOMO Rs127 = 1GB, 30 Days OR Rs 185 = 2GB, 30 Days. Special Recharge Now. today i recharged for Rs 185 and i got only 1 GB data in my account. When i called to customer care they disconnected my call saying that we dont have offer like that. I hope you will solve my problem soon. Thank you

Customer care & other supports are not responding. My remaining balance & other internet services are blocked without any reason.

              I am using [protected], 199/- plan of TATA DOCOMO. In last month April 2015 I have changed my prepaid connection to postpaid. In 27th May I got my 1st postpaid bill by sms. It was Rs 239. I have paid this bill after getting the message as soon as possible in afternoon of that day. But after few minutes when I was check my unbilled amount I was shocked because it was shows Rs 590.92. But I have not used such amount. I called to the customer care twice but they did not provide me the details of it. I was worried. Then I go to the nearest Tata Docomo centre and told them the matter. But they also not help me, they did not show me the usage details, they argue with me that I have used those amount in running months that's why it shows. But from 25th May running months are activated. In 2 days how I can I use 590 rupees o[censored]sage? As per the plan I have 400min free call in any network. In those two days I have not use any data also. I don't know how they did the stupid things. When I want the usage details they did not show me anything. I have used Tata Docomo from last 4 year but I cant imagine they do this kind of cheat with me.

              As per the discussion, we would like to inform you that your current un-billed amount for your Tata Docomo number is Rs. 00/-.

              This is the actual usage that you do for calls & value added services on your number for the current bill cycle and the same is also being sent to you as daily SMS.

              Please note that the Un-billed Amount is calculated without considering any discount and/or free usage on your account.

              All the discounts and free usage as per your bill plan are considered while generating the final bill for the month and are discounted from final bill amount. Hence you may find a difference in the unbilled SMS amount & the final bill amount.

              Your next month bill will be generated on 27-06-15 in which all the applicable discounts shall be credited.

                  Series of complaints are enumerated below: 1. Rs. 850/- was charged at the point of conversion of from prepaid to postpaid. I was told by your executive that it will be refunded after 3 months and adjusted in the bill. But, now customer care tells me that only Rs. 500/- is refundable and that too at the time of closing the number. Also refused to tell me the name of the executive who initiated my connection. Does TATA DOCOMO as a company steal money from the customers by making false committments? I want my money(Rs.850) back, please tell me how? 2. For the month of April'15, my due date to pay the bill was 15th May'15, but without any warning of "disconnecting the services if credit limit crosses" my services were stopped on 8th May'15, much ahead of the due date. How can you guys discontinue the services without any warning? 3. After paying the bill for April'15 on 9th May'15, I am recieving daily sms telling my unbilled usage usage is Rs.3400. How can you traumatize a consumer by sending such wrong and baseless messages, even when he has paid bill even before the due date? 4. I have tried calling customer care several times to resolve issues, but in night hours I recieve responses to call in the day time. And when I call in daytime, they either put on hold (only to disconnect later) or say servers are not working, please call after 4 hours. What are the customer care execs for if they cant resolve a single query over the span of 15 days? 5. Representative names whom I had last talked to: HARISH and RATHA at Hyderabad location.                     My TataDoCoMo prepaid number is [protected]!!!My call rates are been increased without any reasons even though my call rate offer is 30/ps from nearly 1 month I'm suffering problem due to this and I'm not getting any solution to this problem...I had ported my network due to this main reason but I got a call from customer care that we will reduce call rates but there was no decrease in my call rates!! Plz look into my complaint and do necessary changes orelse just say to port to other network. I'm tired of TataDoCoMo network!!!The worst network I had ever used.

                          I am using DoCoMo since a year but when u converted it into 3g service the network is poor and im charged for 3g data but im getting 2g only that is too poor ive called customer service many times but my call is terminated every time I think it is a fake company worst customer care services...

                              I am Postpaid customer of tata Docomo photan no. [protected] last 4 years but since last 10 months tata Docomo networks signals are so weak and internet speed is very poor in Delta II Greater Noida U.P. Tata Docomo executive advice to convert 2G to 3G photan max and your problem poor network and slow speed solve and i have extra paid 2000 rupees and purchase new 3G Tata Docomo dongle. And again same problem faced last 40 days. And tatadocomo executive to not solve my problem and my complaint is closed. 1- Complaint No.[protected] Date-24 April 2015 2- Complaint No.[protected] Date- 25 May 2015 3-Interection No.[protected] Date- 5 May 2015 As per company executives statements major maintenance work happening in our area so because of this we are facing network issue.which doesn't come under network area? During my arguments to executive he is been advice us to use this network in.other area.

The improvement in speed may only happen if the congestion of the given sites goes down, which can’t be predicted at this given point in time. Regret the inconvenience.

                              Further, we would like to inform you that there is the usage in your bill and hence charges were levied correctly as per the bill plan an adjustment is not applicable.

                              These ISPs are busy looting people. distributing bandwidth and misleading customers with higher numbers printed. tata docomo is worst broadband providers i have tried ever (im a net user since 2002)

                                Hi Tata Photon Team, I have a tata Photon Wifi device, which i purchased a month ago. I have a 5 GB day + 5 GB night plan. Since last 20 days i was able to connect to tata photon plus(high speed), after that my day data got fully consumed but the night data was still within 5 GB but since then I am not able to connect to Photon plus(high speed) even during the night time(Note:- I am able to connect to photon whiz at that time). I called the customer care, they replied that their is a speed constraint at mayur vihar Delhi due to congestion/ high load. They are saying that they dont have the solution. If this was the case, then i should not be able to connect the same earlier also. Please look into the issue.                                   We have brought Tata photon wifi data card Number: [protected] We have brought this device last year July 14, since than we are facing issue of speed network. But major issue we started facing from feb then we officially file complaint. As per company executives statements major maintenance work happening in our area so because of this we are facing network issue.Also few of the executives told us that our area doesn't support this network than how can a company sell the product which doesn't come under network area? During my arguments to executive he is been advice us to use this network in some other area how foolish company worker why would I go out of my home or some where just to avail the network speed. As they are fail to provide us the commented network speed. This shown company is just eager to fulfill the sales target or just to make consumer fool by selling faulty product without having complete knowledge about the network availability. We really want action against this company. As disconnection of the services will not solve anything.We really need all the refund of the bills already paid as during that period speed was not appropriate to work. We have been paying regular bill as per the tariff plan, but speed we are getting is 0.10. This is really a unprofessional attitude of the company. We would advice everyone not to buy this product this will surely work good for some time but after few months speed will go slow. TATA photon is faulty company. they don't provide any service rather they will suggest you to disconnect this and chose another network.

                                  We tried to speak to you personally on your number. However, we are unable to contact you, since your call was not responded. In this regards, we would like to inform you that you are facing the slow speed problem as your location falls under network congested area.

                                  Kindly be informed that speed on wireless network depends on various parameters, such as number o[censored]sers accessing the internet at that particular point of time, geographical area, indoor and outdoor signal coverage, weather conditions, other causes of radio interference, material used for the building, configuration of the building, ?..? etc. So is the case with any other wireless network Operator. However, at TATA Docomo we understand the customer experience is of foremost importance.

                                  Not withstanding the above technical and other extraneous factors affecting the network which are beyond our control, we have been continuously striving to enhance customer experience. In this direction, we are in the process of enhancing the speeds in various localities basis the customer feedback and experience.

                                    This to inform you that as per your assurance given through your service message dated 23.5.2015 i got recharged for Rs.25 on the same day at 6.30Pm. But, as per your your assurance I have not got extra talk time of Rs.25/- in addition to the regular talk time of Rs.25/- even after lapse of 48 hours as notified by you. in this regard even though i have tried to dial you customer care number 121 as well as the complaint registering number 198 the same were not responding except the recorded messages being posted. since from two days i could not contact your customer care executives on line. more over there is no option for the customers to contact the executives in you network. it is in violation of the TRAI regulation. therefore you are required to attend my complaint immediatley or else make provision for contacting your executive through your customer care number 121 or complaints reg. number 198. But, From your side every week i reacived call from customer service regards bill and techincal problem we will send person direct to your house no one come and call. For bill everyday new person call me about bill then explan my problem we send email its answer from your people. My Tata account no is [protected] my service already disconnected since few Month back. I have raised lots of complain regarding my unwanted billing that i have not user their services. Given tons of call to CC but never received a revised bill. More over a funnest reply . Herewith I enclosed your “ Legal Demand Notice “ for your reference for your next step..                                         My name is Rajneesh mishra lives in harda madhya pradesh, i was takes a number of vodafone compnay in the year 2009 the number is [protected] and in march 2015 i ported that in to tata docomo but after 2 months they closed my out going and incoming services, i m in very trouble that is my very broadcasted number, retailers said we send yours documents to the company and custmer care executives said this is not our area of work you have to try with yours retailer Sir i have send my id and photo 2 times but my sim did not starts working, sir i m a goverment officer posted in upper collector office harda madhya pradesh that is my official sim beacuse of this problem i faced to much trouble. I request to you please take some steps to starts my sim again i am in very much tension and depression .
