This is Vasanth from Chennai. I had TATA DOCOMO GSM -PREPAID Connection Aug' 2012 with valid VOTER ID as proof at a Retail shop,
Shozhinganallur, Chennai . Few days later, I had received a msg that, 'Please submit application form to avoid permanent
disconnection' from TATA DOCOMO.
Then I had submitted Application with ID proof again at Tata Docomo Exclusive Store, No 2/82, Opp To 3I Infotech, Old
Mahabalipuram Road, Thoraipakkam, Chennai - 600097. Afterthat, my outgoing/Incoming calls were barred on 13/09/2012.
I called that Tata Docomo Exclusive Store, they replied that 'We cannot do anything on this issue' as we had submitted your 2nd
application. Later they were not even picking up my calls.
Meanwhile I had raise a request # PPAV[protected] on 13/Sep/2012 and the expected resolution date would be 24/Sep/2012. I was
waiting more than 10 days from line deactivation
.
On 23/Sep/2012, I got a call from TATA DOCOMO, Our Conversation was (a girl on the other side), I said, 'I had application twice
so far at above mentioned DOCOMO Outlet but line is still not activated. She replied, I will check and call you back in 5 mins.
She never called me back and the request # PPAV[protected] was updated with 'Please give 72 Hours to activate the line'. Again I
was waiting more than 72 Hrs from that time.
MY LINE NEVER ACTIVATED.
LATER THE REQUEST IS CLOSED WITHOUT RESOLVING THE ACTUAL ISSUE. I PINGED CUSTOMER CARE. THEY REPLIED, AGAIN MY APPLICATION IS NOT
FOUND IN THE ABOVE SAID DOCOMO OUTLET. SO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION ONCE AGAIN.
THE BEAUTIES ARE, SHE DIDN'T UPDATED THE OUTLET ADDRESS IN THE REQUEST (WHERE SHE CHECKED) AND CLOSED THE REQUEST WITHOUT
INITIATING ME (ABOUT APPLICATION IS NOT FOUND).
NOW ITS CLOSE 2 MONTHS, I AM STRUGGLING WITH DOCOMO CUSTOMER CARE AND DOCOMO OUTLET. STILL I AM NOT GETTING WHERE ARE MY SUBMITTED
APPLICATIONS AND WHAT IS GOING OVER MY APPLICATIONS. IF ANYONE OF THEM INFORM ME ABOUT MY APPLICATIONS STATUS, I AM READY TO HELP
THEM OUT. EVEN DOCOMO CUSTOMER CARE AND DOCOMO OUTLET DOESN'T KNOW WHERE MY APPLICATIONS LYING. I AM COMPLETELY CLUELESS. HENCE I
AM WRITING THIS TO OPEN FORUM.
AGAIN I HAVE CREATED ONE MORE REQUST # PPAV[protected] On 29/OCT/2012 WITH RESOLUTION DATE 09/OCT/2012. MEANWHILE MY NO. IS
DEACTIVATED PERMANENTLY. I PINGED DOCOMO CUSTOMER CARE, THEY REPLIED, WHAT TILL RESOLUTION DATE I.E. TOMORROW (09/OCT/2012).
STILL I DIDN'T GOT A RESOLUTION! EVEN A CALL MEANWHILE!
As of 08/10/2012
1. There are 3 applications with valid proofs has been re-submitted for the same issue.
2. The said issue is existing over 2 month.
3. There are 2 Request raised for the same so far with 10+10 days expected resolution! NONE OF THEM RESOLVED THE ISSUE.
I heard before that TATA DOCOMO has poor network coverage but I seen now their Customer Care, Outlet also in poor
process/communication.
I advised myself and my friends, Better NOT to buy DOCOMO Connection at Chennai anymore!
We have received your complaint and we will ensure it is resolved soon.
