My sister did a recharge in a shop that she normally does and it was not a less amount, 500 rupees worth Recharge money disappeared immediately in few mins after recharge early this week in bangalore. This is not the first time its happening with her, its 3rd time, every time she called customer care they assured her that next time it will not happen and that they were not aware what is happening or how it happened. They also washed off hands by not taking the responsibility of sorting this problem. The company should be ashamed to do these kind of scams with common public who dont have enough money to lose like this.. its really aweful, and i am thinking that i should file a complaint at some place where it can be heard and attended as i have lost all hopes and very very disappointed. I have even told all my friends and relatives not to trust this service. Can someone please guide or provide some help in this regard.

    Getting problem resolution was is nightmare. Even escalation is horror, I tried getting that but getting correct information on escalation was also nightmare. This was after I had got umpteen false promises to resolve my device problem for more than a month.

    1 The call center is initially clueless when I insist on connecting with senior it says I must escalate to Appellate authority. I must email my complaint.

    2. When I email at Appellate authority, mail bounces back

    3 When I write complaint about this online I get a mail saying "we would like to inform you that our Appellate Desk has been designed only to handle escalation complaints"
    OF COURSE I WANT TO ESCALATE - But mail no where mentions what should I do to esclaate. TATA Tele can you disclosue the "innovative" design of your Appellate desk so that I can escalate.

    4. Their site says, Appeals only against the decision of the Nodal Officer are maintainable before the Appellate Authority, no other appeal / direct complaint shall be entertained.

    5. When I mail to Nodal officer I get a reply
    "Please note that as per TRAI’s Complaint Redressal Regulation, Nodal desk is discontinued with effect from 1st May’12." And further that if I am not satisfied with the resolution provided, I may register the complaint in writing with our Appellate Authority via email, letter or fax

    Now When you do that you are go to step 2.So you are in endless loop.
    If this is not fooling customer and running Fraud on them then what is it?

    Till date I have not get mechanism that would actually work end enable me to escalate the problem that has been Mandated by TRAI
    try to find Tatateleservices official in linkedin or other social networks then post ur query to them dirctly

      Respected sir ,
      I am badly cheated by tata docomo company they have send ,me message to recharge rs 90 and get 1gb 3g data after that i recharged rs 90 but when i recharge i only get 300mb data then i talk to customercare they say they will give me 700mb data after few days 12 days over and still i did not get my 700mb remaing data this is really heart broken service provided by tatadocomo to their customer my name is siddharth and my mob no is [protected]

        My Tata Docomo mobile no is [protected]. On 20th sep,12 I have received a message that "Youth Pack" of 30 RS. is activated without any prior information. They had not sent any message regarding this Pack and also I did not apply for it.

          hello,

          i'm using tata docomo since a while and today my balance was deducted without any reason. this has happened in the past as well. i am using a blackberry and there is an internet plan for blackberry customers. the plan that i was on is BB 399 which entitles me to unlimited internet usage. Today i got a pop up on my screen which said data session charge Rs. 90.90 that was deducted from my account which had no explanation. i called up the customer care to no avail then i went to the online chat portal and spoke to an agent who said the details of the deduction is not updated in their record. this happened to me before as well when about rs. 140 was deducted without any explanation and i had gone to the docomo store where the guy kept telling me that there are no records of the deduction. where did this money go then ? who is going to tell me why is my balance being deducted. if there is a valid explanation and if i have used a service then i agree but there was nothing as such that was done! i need answers.. the details of my chat with a docomo agent has been copied and pasted below :

          dr. sir,
          I'm a current user of tata docomo mobile phone services. I'd recharged my phone balance with 50.00 INR. But soon after recharging my balance amt. has been deducted to 40.00 INR. I've informed from related customer care centre that the deduction has been made in favour of subscribing game value pack, which has never been subscribed by me.
          therefore kindly go through the matter and manage to refund my deducted amt.

            Hi,
            I am Photon customer who has been thoroughly harassed, repeatedly deceived and misinformed and find my self trapped in never ending dark tunnel.
            My photon number is : [protected]
            I have not been able to use the device for more than a month and it has been a month now since I reported the problem formally but there has been no resolution till date.

            My real nightmare started on **20th August** when I visited the physical store at Dwarka, New Delhi with my Photon device that was not working. The store told me they are helpless and I need to report it at call center. I finally lodge complaint at call center on 23rd August mentioning there is problem with device. They asked me on phone what is the problem, is it connectivity or device, do blue light blinks etc. This is first reflection on their customer centricity.
            While the store had physical access and It is surprising given store had physical access to device and at least they could have told high level problem but flatly refuse and then call center mentions that we do not have physical access so you need to help us debug problem!! - And this was first level screening before they transfer my call to technical

            Anyway call center told me that a service engineer would visit in 48 hours. Since then it has been countless calls, complaints, false promises and endless agony. I would be forced to follow on complaint number, spend my precious time answering irrational question describing whole story again. They did not care to go through whole record trail before responding and every time I had to give them all the data and force them to check records on-line before they could start fooling me and start speaking some sense. With every follow up the chain would get longer and longer wasting more and more of time.
            And Aahha finally at end of conversation I get another new complaint number and new resolution time !! Below are just a subset of compliant numbers For ONE Problem to resolve - there is lot more

            [protected] and list goes ON.

            I have been made countless promises on resolution time, none of them was met. I was also promised of callback within2-4 hours several times which was not met unless it was for cancellation which finally I did.
            Finally I asked to cancel my connection and was then Deceived by Tata Photon staff into not going ahead with cancellation by making false promises, and this happened Not once but Thrice.
            => On 8th Sept Mr Biru from retention called me and requested me to reconsider my cancel request and give them one chance . He initially gave half informed reasons for delay and inaction but when I explained him all chronology and to asked him check all the records, he accepted the faults lies with Tata photon and apologized for all the problems and pain I had to go through.
            He promised Device would be replaced at my home by 9th September but I have to pay Rs. 800 that would be adjusted in next 3-4 billing cycles. He also promised a proportionate Rs 500 waive off on current bill as I had not been able to use service for that period And a discount on monthly plan as token to address harassment I have gone through.

            On his trust I agreed but nothing happened and after waiting for a week I again asked for cancellation
            => On 15th Sept Mr Janaki spoke to me, made a last Chance appeal and said he would personally ensure I have a working device by 18th Sept and few other promises but here I am on 20th with problem still standing where it was, a non working device poking fun at me.

            The whole agonizing experience has highlighted lot of questions that as a customer I owe explanation and answer to
            1. Why it should take one month to solve this simple a problem in today's information age?

            2. What accountability Tata Teleservice has on such a abnormal delay in resolving customer problems paralyzing them from using services And
            - For my loss of internet connectivity at my home
            - For the precious time I had to spend with customer explaining same problem again and again. The time I have spent talking to your team nor run indouble digits in HOURS
            - Mental agony and pain I have to go through

            3. I would like to understand what services Tata Photon has provided to me in last 1 month for which they are still charging me?

            4. How can they unilaterally mark a complaint number as resolved without customer consent specially when there has been No resolution to problem? Not only that as a customer I am not provided an option to reopen the complaint number or at least put my mark that the problem is not resolved from me - How can you completely isolate customer from closure status of a complaint that customer has raised?

            5. Is Tata teleservices not accountable for false commitments and misinformation their staff gives to customer on official channels? Does Tata teleservices treat is as cheating and deceit or not?

            6. Why are customer made to recall their horror experience every time from scratch when they call customer care to follow up? Do you value customer's time - if yes what action they have taken to minimize time customer has to spend on his complaint.
            - Simply Why should the support not check the complaints trail and records to save customer recount their horror story

            7. Why customer problems see no response back and followup whereas as soon as a cancellation request is made Interestingly there was Quick callback every time and also escalation lines gets connected otherwise I was always told those lines are busy - I wonder how can that be sheer coincidence?


            I get escalation channel only when force and become stubborn. I am told there is no number I can call but use email to escalate And when I finally escalate to Appellate authority, the mail bounces

              Sir,
              My mobile No. is [protected]. I have taken services of Tata Docomo Company.

              Company added Value Added Service ( Fun Games) on 14.09.2012 and deducted Rs. 30/- from my account and sent messages as below
              "Hi! You have downloaded Fun Games at Rs30/- Non-renewable." from TA-HUWWAP.

              Sir I have touch screen mobile phone. I was accessing a site when suddenly The Fun Games add pop up from the bottom of the screen. It got touched with no intention to have it. The add was displaying a message in very small font that " Charges apply on click".

              Sir i don't want Tata docomo company to give me services in such bad way. The company is cheating me and deducted my money.

                  Dear Sir,

                  I (Sajan) have recharged my mobile number with special recharge pack of rs 72/- in online (http://www.tatadocomo.com/online-recharge.aspx) on 19th Sep 2012 at 02:36:46 pm, but still that offer not yet applicable in my mobile number. Even after recharged I got message like recharge successful.MRP RS.72, Validity:60 days, All Local/STD Mobiles @ 1/2p/s & All Fixed (Loc/STD) @1.5 p/s. Local [protected]@ Rs 1/SMS & STD SMS @ Rs. 1.5/SMS. Trance ID: MHCC[protected] .
                  I called to DOCOMO costumer care so many times for this issue but they didn't give proper response. Please take my complaint and resolve this problem.

                    i am anand i have been using you service for last 4 years . and this is my no [protected] . weekly once they them self activating one service with out my intervention and taking charge when i call them .there is know response from customer care always they disconnect . you people are creating me a mental pressure . pls kindly guide me how to sot out this problem or else i have to move to other network .

                      Mysel[censored]mesh Javir, Ahmedabad Gujarat, I had DOCOMO card vide card no: [protected], i used that number from last 1 year and suddenly it was disconnected from your side and i got to know that it was cancelled from your side.

                      Further, Before 1 year I had the same number continue with Vodafone and used number portability facility from Vodafone to Docomo postpaid, and than after on dated 28 July 2012 i applied for Postpaid to DOCOMO Prepaid and do recharge of Rs.55/- on the same time and i recharge for further also but i was surprised that suddenly my card was disconnected and i got massage from your side that 'SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED'.

                      Further, I visited to your DOCOMO shop @ sivrangini, Ahmedabad and the executive replied that my card was cancelled due to NOT IN USED.

                      I used this number [protected] from last 6 to 7 years and my all family, friends and other well wisher's have same number with them to contact me, so you are requested to provide me the same number.

                      I have another docomo number too and due to it's service i change over my number from other network operated from DOCOMO. But after getting this type of service now i have to change over my current docomo number
                      to other operator.

                      We believe in TATA's trust worthiness and don't let us think about the negative.....

                      Tata Docomo — not canceling my postpaid sim

                      I am disappointed because of the bad service from the Tata Docomo office, when i gone there to check up cancellation details of my Tata Docomo post paid no:[protected] they miss behave me. I had already given a cancellation request on the above number on 13/11/2009 on that day they told me that with in one one day they will dis connect my number but it now seem to be one week (21/11/2009 ) but sim is still working. Because of that i want to pay the bill so please make the correspounding actions to cancel my sim as fast as possible
                      in the morning I received an sms on my docomo that we can recharge docomo online
                      without any extra fees or payment gateway. yaa its true www.babuchak.com is
                      marvellous. It also provides daily prizes to be won worth Rs.30, 000 daily just
                      to recharge our mobiles.

                      we want such sites like www.babuchak.com

                      & it also has a very good scheme to win mobile phones at rs.10 only.

                      Now in the market there are 2 players to recharge tata-docomo online

                      1. www.babuchak.com (Free of cost)

                      2. www.ezrecharge.in (takes Rs.6 for recharging Rs.100 & takes Rs.18 extra if you recharge your cell in night)

                      I think www.babuchak.com is the right choice without any extra fees & it also has a 24hrs call-center

                      sir, i have purchase tata docomo gsm postpaid sim with Rs. 899 plan from online (www.connectindia.in)
                      on 03 sep 12. i got sim through tata docomo executive and i migrate my no [protected] on new gsm postpay
                      sim from prepaid sim and my physical varification done on 16 sep 12 and executive told me that sim will
                      activate within 2-3 days by submiting varification form but still my connection not activate and sim also
                      not migrate. i have tried so many time to contect with tata docomo customer care and complain but they always
                      told that your complain registered and your problem will be solve within 48hrs. and so many time they passing
                      wrong information to me and some time they give me other customer care executive no. which is not available in
                      world. so, i request to you please activate my no or refund my money as soon as possible. thank you sir.

                      With regards to a complain about disconnection of my Cell No.[protected], on 20.09.12 & I received call from Mr.Arun ([protected]) from DOCOMO on my another mobile No.[protected] on 21.09.12.

                      Mr.Arun have given me promise that my service will start within 48 hours, as on today yet my service is not started.

                      Being unit of TATA's it is shameful on you that after getting such complain till date you are not taking any promising action to satisfy your value customer.
                      Further, i found it is completely affect your brand value and due to your irresponsible behavior your customer will have less faith in you.

                      Even if i am surprised that my mailed to such different prominent authority till date no action would be taken from your side.
                      it is highly appreciated if any action would be taken and my problem would be solved by you.

                      But suddenly before 3 weeks ago, I got a message from Docomo that my documents are not completely submitted and then after within a week they blocked my outgoing.

                      So, I submitted my documents (Voter card and photograph for address proof and identity) at Docomo care, Visnagar (384315) and within 2 days they resumed my outgoing.

                      Then after a week, suddenly they cancelled my SIM card (displaying message SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED).

                      When I called customer care from another Docomo number, they replied that they cancelled because they didn’t have my documents and I can not get my number back.



                      So, how can they cancel my SIM card after getting documents ? and if they didn’t get my documents then, how is it possible to resume blocked outgoing service without documents ?

                          i recieved a message from tata docomo that

                          after the rechargeon 19/09/1012 i got only 300 mb data. and after speaking to the costumer care, they told me that the offer is only applicable on the day i hav recieved the message. and i have recieved the message on 18/9/2012 and 19/09/2012. and there is no such condition in the message telling the offer is only valid for today. i want my money back.

                          Tata Docomo — False Recharge related message

                          Tata Docomo sent me a message on 15/july/2011 that , if you recharge your mobile with Rs.90 , you will get Rs.120 out of which Rs.79.59 talktime will be immediatly put into mobile and rest Rs.40.41 , you will get in 48 hours. But when i called tata docomo's customer care on 17/july/2011, they said no such scheme is available for you. Are they just looting there customers by sending false message? I still have the same message i received by Tata Docomo and the recharge message on same day.

                                I recharged with 666 on[protected] for getting all local calls benefit and it wasnt activate after that i called to customer care and when i asked they said to wait for 24 hours . after 24 hours when again i spoke they gave me a complaint number -pbr12074329 with resolution time of 17-09-12. but still its not solved and my plan's validity has been expiring day by day . whenever i speak to customer care , they speak very rudely and always tell like " wait for 24 hours". its almost 10 days gone and after 20 days validity will be over . Now i want my refunds back.

I had brought my new prepaid number [protected] & [protected] about a month back as soon as it was launched in udaipur only for the reason that i heard a lot about the gprs speed of its, and straight away i chose for monthly pack of rs 149 & 95. But really sorry to say that from the day of activation i m only getting the speed around 2 to 3 kbps,all the day and from last two days it is coming less than 1 kb and that is really pathetic as compared to other networks on my nokia N86 8mp although it supports 3.5G also . I had so many talks with the customer service executives but they were not able to help me out. After hearing the extension in downloading limits, my group and college friends are asking my feedback on the network speed and service of docomo. So tell me what should i say in this regard? Is there anyone to fetch my issue and resolve it?

                                      Hi,

                                      I am a Tata Docomo internet customer since the last 1 year.
                                      While taking the connection I opted for the 1.5 Mbps plan. When the first bill came, I was charged for 1000 INR more under "Static ip charges".
                                      On complaining this to the customer care, after a week TATA removed the charges and a new bill was sent to me.
                                      At that point of time, I had cleared to them that I dont require a static ip. But they said that its a free service coming with my plan. I repeatedly asked them to deactivate the service yet, they did not. On asking, if this service becomes chargeable in future then what will they do? They replied that they will call me and mail me, confirm me regarding this service and then only activate it further.

                                      After 1 year, this month i recieved a bill of 3027 INR. I was charged 2000 INR again under "Static ip charges". My net was disconnected on 11th Sept, 2012. On repeated complaining they say that I activated this service last month. I am really frustrated with their pathetic service and response.
                                      I did not recieve any call from their side, but they say they have called me to activate the service. They are not ready to remove this charge and told me that I wont recieve my internet untill I make this payment.

                                      Please help me out.

                                        Sir,my account balance was stolen unlawfully in middle of July by activating call me tune service.when I tried to call customer executive in this regard I found that my call was blocked.This blockage remained throughout the remaining days of month.I also made e-mail to nodal officer complaining for these two problems,but no action was taken.My calls to executives was resumed in very first week of august,and I mentioned my complain to executives and their senior,but he denied on the ground that I was late.I mentioned the reason and also told about e-mail but he took the shelter of company law & policy.Again my calls to executives was blocked from 12 august to 31 august.Now the calls are resumed but They do not receive it due to insufficient balance.At present I want my balance back.What can I do.
