Tata Docomo guys,
Ive been using a number ([protected]) for almost a year now
Ive done transactions of around 600 in this month alone
today in the evening suddenly i loose the connectivity and get a notification saying "sim not provisioned"
I tried calling the customer care from another number
One guy picks up saying youve not been using this sim
it has been deactivated
i still have around 200 balance left in the phone and i was messaging till around half hour before this happened
I have no idea what to do as of now
RESOLVE THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY

The number has been disconnected due to non usage more than 120 days. Hence, the same cannot be activated again.

Tata Docomo guys,
Ive been using a number ([protected]) for almost 3 year now
Ive done MNP form Reliance to docomo, I’ve received confirmation SMS for acceptance but the connectivity/signal are getting in my phone its saying "sim not provisioned"2
I tried calling the customer care from another number
One guy picks up saying it will get activated in some times but it is not,
it has been deactivated
I have no idea what to do as of now
RESOLVE THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY

      I have bought a docomo sim recently and i am unable to receive or send a message to other cellphones.

      Hi,
      I'm Having a problem sending msgs to ANY DOCOMO NUMBERS.
      I'm able to to send msgs to other numbers n receive delivery reports instantly EXCEPT for ANY DOCOMO NUMBERS.
      Some times they get delivered,bt still the delivery report doesnt comes!
      Its definitely not the case of inbox being full, also he is able to receive msgs from other docomo numbers.
      Also i'm able to call him n i can receive his msgs from his number.

      This Problem started on 26th may 2010. Still not resolved. :(

        What are you? A 5 years old kid writing complaints? Who is Mr. Amit Gupta? Where does he belong? Which city/state? Is he an employee of TATA or some other company? What type of job he offered you? How much money he demanded from you? Who is going to write all of this information? And you expect people to be careful of Mr. Amit Gupta .. can you imagine how many Amit Gupta exist in India alone? Grow up please, know how to write a formal complaint. This is not your personal diary where you write one liners and people will understand your problem and have a solution ready for you.

          My mobile No. is [protected]. I have taken services of Tata Docomo Company.

          Company automatically added Value Added Services on 7.09.2012 and deducted Rs. 14/- from my account and sent message as below
          "you have subscribed to endless music @Rs.14 for 7 days".

          Again on 12.09.2012 they deducted Rs.61.02 and got message as "you have downloadwd VS_Android [protected]@99 @ Rs61.02/-non renewable "
          from TA-HUWWAP.

          so totally i lost Rs.75.02. Please help me with my deducted amount

          this is to inform you that every month 60rs is being deducted from my cellphone account and that too without subscribing any services,on calling to cust care for help they dont provide correct info and they barred my call to cust care.sometimes they put on hold for long time and nobody responds to call...which is quite irritating.
          this is really incredible that this type of people work in your firm..who is creating a bad name and repo.
          kindly take action against it and resolve my problem..

          From last month August , unecessarily money was deducted from my account, due to which i m suffering problem, One message is coming after every 7 days that the service bullion Rates service is activeted in my no, but beleive me from my side i didn't activate any service, as i am a student, i m not getting proper money to recharge.           I am a user of Tata Docomo prepaid service(mob. [protected]) but I am not satisfied of Tata docomo's service because my money has been deducted repeatedly from my main account in June'12 month without any reason. i had called to customer care several time but they are not responding my call after several call one time he received my call and he promised to refund my money but they still not refunding. So i requesting to you kindly look in this matter and do something to stops this, losing money every day is just not fun.other wise i will change my service provider. Thank you
          I used internet for only 2 min in the morning n for that i was supposed to pay about 40rs. This is how docomo is cheating us. From this forum I am requesting the docomo people to reimburse my deducted money. This is not the 1st time, but this time they screwed my 40 rs n they r giving the reason as i have used the data bearin 40 rs tht too in 2min(signed in gmail). If this continues in future docomo will not be pleased.

          they activated call me tune services which i already unsubscribed and deducted my 22 rs 3 rd time so i want my 22rs back at any condition
          hi tata docomo gave me an offer that recharge with 26 and get 200 mb gprs data and free extra 1 gb data for 15 days..i rechrged it but they deducted my money 20 rupes from main balance un necessarily i called them twice they said they will refund my balance but no response from them i called many times but no use ivr system is saying that their reprsentives or busy since 4 days.please take a action on them and one more problem i faced is for every ten to fifteen minutes my gprs will be disconnected.i raised a complaint on this issue but no use .my mobile number is [protected] .

              Sir,

              i am from Dehradun, Uttarakhand. I had done an Online recharge of Rs.98 for which
              i should be given a GPRS balance of 5GB according to your plans shown in your website during the time of Recharge. But when I
              check my GPRS balance after recharging at 7:59 PM in 5 Septemper 2012, i
              get only about 2.5 GB of GPRS balance in my account. When I complaint Customer care about this, he says thier plans has been changed and now they are giving 2.5 GB of data instead of 5 GB.
              My point is if your plans are changed , then the correct information should be updated in your website for customers who are doing online recharge . In website , you are showing to give 5 GB of Data and after recharging you are giving 2.5 GB, it is cheating with your customers. So please give me the correct GPRS balance as described in your website on the date of recharge.I have also attached an image of your plans on 7 September, (i.e 2 days after I recharged). Please do some justified decision, Other wise i have one more option of going to consumer court for this.

              i had registered a complaint through email with an docket number PSMR12016981 on 05-09-12 and your side ensure to resolved this problem on 13-09-12.But Still today, the problem is not solved .

              there is no response from your side till now dated at 24 september, 2012. therefore I am complaining to nodal officer of Tata docomo. and if he too did not make any response, i will complaint to nodal appeallate. And if he also refuses to solve this problem then I will go to complaint in TRAI against this company named as TATA DOCOMO.

                My tata docomo mobile no. [protected]. I was recharging my Tata docomo no. through the tatadocomo home site on 12th September at 5:30pm. but the retailer(tata docomo) have deducted an amount of Rs. 510 without giving the talktime in my mobile.

                kindly do the necessary for crediting the same money through the talktime or refund the same via bank..
                I had done a online recharge of Rs100 through <tatadocomo.com/online-recharge.aspx> on 05.04.2012 using my SBI debit card.The amount was deducted from my bank account but I did not recieve the amount on my prepaid Main Balance.
                The transaction id I received on my mobile was[protected].Inspite of repeated communication with the customer care executives,I didn't receive a satisfactory reply.Kindly look into the matter.My cell no. is [protected]

                I chose option to recharge my number via online i.e [protected] but it was failed . There was no reason on the website for the failure but the have debited the recharge amount from my Debit Card . Since 6 days have been passed they have not credited the recharge amount to my A/C number . I had received a SMS from Tata Docomo of rechrage failure also refund days were mentioned upto 5 days .
                Kindly help me, so that I can get my amount back .The payment reference number is MCIT[protected] and also MCIT[protected] .Please provide an update soon

                  Hi team,

                  This is regarding escalation on refund amount of rs.95 deducted from my account on 01/09/2012 16:18. (Here note the point that the deduction was for an unwanted GPRS service as i have already activated GPRS pack on top of that just for the amount deduction on more GPRS service activated)

                  after the deduction on this amount i contacted customer care by chat and got the following response

                  "I have registered the complaint and reference number is PBR12061550 ,
                  which will be used for your future reference and same will resolved by 04-SEP-2012 20:00:00 ."

                  and on 4th sept i got one sms saying we need 48 hrs. and the height was when yesterday again 10rs deducted from my account for one more unwanted service. After that when i called CC they refunded my 10 rs. and told me 95rs. will be refunded by 6th sept 2012 11.35 am but till now no joy.

                  After that again i had a chat with CC and i too sent mail to appellate.[protected]@tatadocomo.com, [protected]@tatadocomo.com and nodal.[protected]@tatadocomo.com but the response was same 48 hrs.

                  i dont know how many times this company will ask for 48 hrs.
                  anyways i request all the reader of this post if you are a docomo customer port from docomo ASAP, and if you are planing to take a new connection dont go for docomo. As soon as u recharge they will deduct ur money.

                    docomo is wrost in telecommunication. Their executives don't knows that what's the actual problem n how to resolve it. Every time they says...call us after 4 hour... Our system is not update...so what is ur duty... When U call 2nd time to customer care...the network says..."all customer care executive are busy..."...arre yaaar kis kaam me busy... Karte to kuch nhi ho.fir kha busy rehte ho...i m not getting benefit of my service...i have already paid for it...

                        Dear Docomo user,

                        I tried to connect 3G network but it shows only 2G.
                        I talk with customer care number of times & they reply check 3G APN / Restart / Set 3G Enable etc etc....
                        Next day they said use Aircel Tower instead of DOCOMO.
                        But there is not 3G speed.
                        Today I talk with CC & they said there is not 3G service available in Vadodara.

                        Really Docomo making Fool us. They are charging money for 3G speed & gave 2G.

                          I was provided a post-paid connection by tata-docomo executive saying it is corporate plan with CUG in August 2011.
                          Recently i got bills with huge amounts. I analysed my bills and found that no CUG was provided for me.I mailed to [protected]@tatadocomo.com, but there was no poditive response.
                          Finally, after my bill's due date, docomo representatives started calling me asking me to pay the bills. They are too eager to get the bills paid, but very poor in responding to the concerns of customers.
                          I told them my issues, and finally after a couple of weeks of repeated mails and calls, they gave me some waivers on my bills.
                          Meanwhile, once they barred my outgoing services too.
                          The very next month, the same issue repeated, and I mailed them again. This time I asked them to cancel my connection if they are not willing to solve my issue. Amazingly, they processed my request for cancellation.

                          docomo is very much interested in barring serives and cancelling connections rather than solving issues.

                            Now your department is saying such indigestible things like I have asked for 750mb data to use and all. Let me again clear them my issue that this is the continuously second time when I am facing the same problem, last month also because of your customer care department they have generated the fake bill and this again.

                            In final words I am not going to pay a single penny of net usage on my number [protected], just because of your worst customer care why should I pay?

                            And also advertise my worst experience with TATA DOCOMO on social networking sites like facebook, twitter etc and also going to write it on www.consumerdaddy.com, www.consumercomplaints.com, www.akosha.com etc.

                              My Tata Photon has been cutting out every hour for the last 50 days or so. How it gives me the problem is that it stays connected, but doesn’t open any website. Once that happens, which is pretty much once every hour on average, the Photon has to be disconnected and then reconnected for me to open any web page.
                              This is happening at the company’s end and I have done nothing wrong to make the Photon behave like this. My brother also has Tata Photon and his device does the same. So I lodged a complaint on September 1, after waiting and suffering for a month or so, thinking that the device will somehow correct itself. I asked the Photon guys to check at their end. My business depends upon internet connectivity, and I was losing money because of non-connectivity. I also told them that if they cannot fix it, they are most welcome to remove the device and I’ll be so happy to be done with Tata Photon.
                              Now, I not only want a refund of the money from the time the device has been behaving like this, in which time I did not receive the promised services from Tata Photon, I also want to sue them for at least Rs2 lakh for causing me business loss, mental harassment, and waste of my precious time and energy. I wrote to them that it’s the company’s responsibility to make sure the service is uninterrupted.
                              In all, I lodged 5 complaints with them. The result of every complaint was the same. The executives called me, made me delete some temporary internet files, cookies (which I normally do myself anyway, just to keep my laptop clean), etc. But the problem persists. Nothing has changed! After lodging the complaint 5 times! The worst thing is that every time the executives close the complaint without addressing my issue. In reply to my most recent complaint, just today, I got another call from their incompetent staff to ‘fix’ my problem, sitting so far away, without ever bothering to come to my place to look at the issue in detail. This recent caller told me to flush DNS, delete temporary cookies, and run Windows command prompt involving some netsh winsocket, netsh something. I did all these things. Still the issue persists. I told this staff that my issue has to do with Tata’s networking and not with my system or laptop. But still she persisted on getting me to do all the above, which I duly did. The issue still stands.
                              The result is that I have decided to switch to Reliance 3G service, which is a lot cheaper and a lot, LOT better than stupid, incompetent Tata Photon. If Tata had not given me so much headache, why would I have thought of switching to Reliance?
                              As a part of my campaign against Tata Photon, I am now shortly going to file a sincere complaint with the Consumer Grievances and Complaint Cell, located at SCO 53, Phase 2, Mohali, against Tata Docomo for undue harassment caused to me due to:
                              • Frequent disconnection and fluctuating broadband due to VERY UNRELIABLE NETWORK.
                              • Indifference of Tata Docomo/Photon towards my internet problems despite repeated complaints. I have got all the complaint numbers.
                              • Broadband very weak for the last 2 months now
                              My arguments to the consumer court will be that:
                              • If Tata Docomo/Photon did not have a reliable internet connection to sell, why did it sell me the connection? It’s like Tata Docomo sold me a box of apples containing 24 apples, and when I later opened the box after buying it, I only found four apples in it--and that too rotten! All I want is for them to STOP SELLING A PRODUCT THEY DON’T HAVE. Stop selling continuously reliable internet service, when their connection cuts out once every hour.
                              • Their Bradband has been very weak for the last two months now. I made 5 complaints in the last 11 days or so (I have all the complaint numbers noted down), their engineers/executives called me but never fixed the real issue. Their whole objective was to get the complaint closed as soon as possible without really bothering about my issue.
                              As another measure of my campaign against Tata Photon, I am also propagating my complaint on sundry consumer complaint forums, like this one, on the internet.
                              To all of my fellow consumers, I have a sincere advice for you: NEVER buy Tata Photon or Docomo when you can have a Reliance or an Airtel, or even a BSNL connection. Tata products are losing their sheen as the management has deteriorated in most Tata companies. Such a big name, which has been big for a whole century, is now the most incompetent business entity, if you ask me.

                              Tata Photon — ROTTEN CUSTOMER SERVICE

                              Between 29th June and 3rd July I filled in a form on line FOUR times so that a sales rep would get back to me. I finally called [protected] at 5.30 PM on 2nd July. I was told that the unit would be delivered to me in 3rd morning. Nothing happened so I called at 3.00PM on 3rd. I was told that it would be delivered "within 2 hrs" - did not happen. On 5th Morning I called around 10.00 to find out the status, I was again told that I would get a call from the dealer and the unjit would be delivered"within 2 hrs" I did get a call half an hour later asking for my address. I got another call at 1.00 PM again asking for my address. I informed them to come any time after 3.00 PM - again nothing happened.
                              Today morning I got a call once again asking for my address - I tod them that I was not interested any more

                              I have never come across customer service like this anywhere in the past - Oh, I did have it when I had a Tata Indicom device2 years back. I disconnected it due to the awful service. I decided to go for the Tata Photon due to the good reports on it's performance but with this kind of service at the pre sale stage I can imagine what it will be like when I have bought the device and are at their mercy..


                              On the contraary I did show interest in the similar product of Airtel and I have already got six calls after filling in an on line form - the 1st was within an hour of my filling the form!! I have been an extremely satisfied customer of Airtels for the past 6 years, two cellphones, landline, DSL and recently IPTV. Airtel customer care is just superb.

                              Tata Photon — Most Unreliable Service Ever

                              This is to tell you all people that TATA Photon plus is the most unreliable service provider i ahve ever seen and I am regretting also for being there customer. I had taken Photon Plus connection from the Tata Indicom Exclusive Shop in Jayanagar 4th Block, Bnagalore on 22nd of Oct. It worked fine for few days and I came to my hometown in Jharkhand on 2nd Nov, depending on my Photon Plus. When i tried to connect my device it displayed some error message and I came to know from the customer care that my documents are still with the retailer so they have suspended my services.I have been contacting my customer care for so many times and they promise that it will be resolved in 3-4 hrs which did not happened since last 48hrs. Now I want to ask TATA people that what is the fault of a customer who has given all the documents. Why am I been penalised for the stupidity of that retailor. Will Tata return my money for the device and the recharge. What should I do now sitting in jharkhand helpless. My photon number is [protected] and my Service request number is : NTT[protected]. Is there anyone who will help me out. I want to file a legal case agains these Tata people.

                              Only consolation you can take is:

                              Tata has done a lot good to the country. Now it our turn to donate to TATA. So I have taken it as if I have donated Rs 1500 to Tata (cost of the device). And said them Ta Ta.

                              Also I have started to believe, Tata is good only in steel or auto, but telecom is not their cup of tea.

                              So take pride in donating to TATA and say Ta Ta (bye bye) to TATA.

                                I raised a porting request on 9-Aug-12 to move from Airtel to TATA DOCOMO. My mobile number [protected] is ported to TATA DOCOMO on 17-Aug-12 and my Outgoing and Incoming call facility is blocked from 21-Aug-12. When I called the customer care they say that they have not received my application and asked me to contact nearest TATA DOCOMO STORE. I visited the nearest TATA DOCOMO STORE and resubmitted the documents and still I am facing the same issue even after clearing all by outstanding bills in AIRTEL. From 21-Sep-12 I have raised my issue with the below CUSTOMER SERVICE POINTS,

                                1. Called Customer Care at 121
                                2. Mailed to [protected]@tatadocomo.com
                                2. Resubmitted my documents in the nearest TATA DOCOMO STORE
                                3. Called [protected]
                                4. Called [protected]
                                5. Visited TATA DOCOMO STORE
                                6. Mailed to [protected]@tatadocomo.com (They have never contacted me)
                                7. Submitted my grievance in Executive Presidents Escalation Desk

                                From 25-Sep-12 all services from TATA DOCOMO has been stopped. Now I do not get even incoming calls and messages.

                                From Executive Presidents Escalation desk 5 Executives have interacted with me and promised my mobile number [protected] will be activated on 8-Sep-12, but till date it is not activated.

                                I need help in activating my mobile number at the earliest

                                      Dear Sir, I really harassed with service provided by Tata Docomo/T24 Gsm company. My self Biswajit Jena and i am using T24 mobile number which is [protected] under Tata Docomo company since 2 to 3 years and regularlly rechare my number with 49 internet pack and talktime top up like 20,10 rupees etc. On 10th september 2012 at evening time when i surfing internet, my number got disconnected sudnelly and sim registration failed notification show on my mobile screen. At that time i was sucked and did not understand what is happened to me.When i call customer care,they said your number is disconnected and deactivated due to not recharge 200 rupees within 6 months but when i said i regularly recharge my number but they did not listen any thing and disconnect my call. what a worst service of Tata Docomo, If i am not recharged 200/- with in 6 months then concerned authority had to be intimate me through sms or call before deactivation of my number that how to stay active or recharge my number to stay active. I was surprised that how a company suddnely deactivated my number permantely without any grace period while my incoming and outgoing service was active. Hear me Docomo, You are not Largest Service Provider in India i bet you are the worst service provider in India.Activate my number, Else you gonna lose one good customer and many customer will loose faith on You. Therefore i request you to look into the matter and do the needful in my favour.

                                        Please note that I have attempted raising similar complaints last week, but there has been no solution to the same nor any acknowledgement from your side.

This was done with online guidance from the Tata Photon call center person. However I am unable to use the device and service; Also unable to login on this site. It's been more than a month I brought this to their notice however there has been no genuine effort from their side, esp. from the F C Road Pune outlet.
                                        Not sure why they continue with franchise model esp. since they don't have direct communication nor control over the customer updates/transactions carried out at the outlets.
                                        Will try to send this to TRAI as well, if someone has any similar issues that they resolved recently would very much appreciate if shared with me.
