I am sending Complaint through Feedback Channel as the complaint form on your website seems to be not working for the 'Rest of Maharashtra' circle Customers like me.
Please note that I have attempted raising similar complaints last week, but there has been no solution to the same nor any acknowledgement from your side.

Details of Query/Feedback -- After converting from Postpaid to Prepaid connection for which I received success message over SMS, I have recharged (toppped up) my connection with Rs 255 for 1 GB over one month validity as per options given on the site. This was done with online guidance from the Tata Photon call center person. However I am unable to use the device and service; Also unable to login on this site. It's been more than a month I brought this to their notice however there has been no genuine effort from their side, esp. from the F C Road Pune outlet.
Not sure why they continue with franchise model esp. since they don't have direct communication nor control over the customer updates/transactions carried out at the outlets.
Will try to send this to TRAI as well, if someone has any similar issues that they resolved recently would very much appreciate if shared with me.

    hi... this is madan kumawat from Akola, maharashtra. on 6 September,2012 i got one message from Tata docomo..that is "Special 3G Offer Just for You! Recharge with Rs90 and enjoy 1GB 3G data for 30 days. Extra benefit will be credited within 48 hours of recharge. Hurry!". According to their condition of recharge i got 300 MB 3G data on same day..but it was 96 hrs after did the recharge, i didnot get the remaining 700MB 3g data till now. after completing 96 hours and more i called to customur care executive and told my problem but they refuse me to give remaining data and even they were not ready to file my compliant . and in the last told me about faulting of recharge. but i did special recharge according to their conditions. and the successful stv recharge that was "Hi! STV Recharge Successful .MRP Rs.90, Validity:30 days,300MB Tranc ID: [protected]". this is not first time to me to do this recharge it is my fourth time. in past, i didnot face this type of problem..

      Sir, Sorry to say but i don't know this will work or not :(

      Problem is there is new offer tata docomo launched in my city Rs 666 plan for unlimited local calls in uttar pradesh and uttrakhand with a tag on banners ( pure uttar pradesh or uttrakhand meh local calls free ) , and even these banners are in dehradun also and i got recharged at my hometown by seeing these banners :( as i'm student i study in dehradun now when i camed back to college at dehradun that plan stopped working and than i called them they just refused by saying ki ( ye plan dehradun meh band ho rakha hai ) though here are banners , than i tolde them about banners , what senior said meh ( wo banners just advertisement k liye lagay hue hai ) , and i asked them and begged them to refund it as balance but they just refused saying ( ab kuch ni ho sakta ) :(

      Sir they are making fool o[censored]s , even they are not helping a bit because it is of Rs 666 :(

      i hve plan of 666. which gives 222 sms free.
      i have additional plan of 50 rs. for 1000 sms free.
      i have to get 1222 sms free.
      but i m getting only only 1000 sma free.

      Problem is that i got recharged my tata docomo mobile by Rs. 666 in kotdwara uttarakhand. I was told that it is unlimited free on any network for 28 days as i got an sms from tata docomo. But today[protected] my plan is not working even 28 days have not been passed. My balance is also deducted for my calls and now i m not able to call.


      please help sir/ma'am please :(

        I am using TATA PHOTON PLUS having ACCOUNT NO.[protected] and TATA DOCOMO NO. [protected] w.e.f JAN 2012, but I am unhappy with the services provided by the company and I want to discontinue with the services but their computers continuously asking me to pay the due bill via messages(2-5 SMS/day) and receiving calls from different Tata Indicom numbers i.e. [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected], [protected] etc regarding to the same. I have registered complaints for the improper services by the company to the customer care but none of them are interested to solve the connectivity related issues now after 3months they have mailed me and have shown their interest in just checking the issue?? I have asked them to come to my home to check and solve this issue but their service agents haven't taken any interest in the same. When I was getting better services from the company I have paid bills online and have copies for the same. Now they have started threatening and warning me on my cellphone because of this I am completely disturbed and don't know what to do in this matter. Please solve this issue at the earliest.

            I had unsubscribed to gprs pack of 70 by sending sms " unsub gprs70 " to 121 on 6th Sept 2012.I got a reply message saying "Your request has been accepted you will soon receive the details".On 9th Sept 2012 my gprs pack was activated by default and Rs.70 was deducted from my account.So please provide a solution.

                i deepak k kanodia which have tata photon plus with no. [protected].

                Till date i have only used approx 2gb of interent data from my tata photon plus set (plz see screenshots) but i got a message on my mobile no. that i have exceed maximum limit so speed have been changed to 155 kpbs


                then i talked to customer care they also said that i have used above 6gb , but i know i have not used this much of datat, as " my account " online account of my tata docomo number also says i have used only 2gb which u can see from the screenshots attached.

                i got a service request no.[protected] on 2nd sept for the above problem with maximum time 6 sept till 5pm

                then i got a phone call asking my problem which is stated and the executive told me his record showing 6gb
                and also said he didnot got any screenshot from my side may be because i have not send jpg format.
                how it can be possible as i had send in jpg format only.

                then again i filed a complaint with service request no.[protected] on 6 sept.Then on 7 sept i got a call from executive and i told the same problem to him, he also says the same thing that on his records 6 gb data usage is showing. when i told him i will go to consumer court, then he balantly told me that u can go anywhere

                so i am attaching u the screenshots so that you can judge why the company is doing injustice

                    i am not getting 3g signal regularly,
                    somtime show 3g signal but for a movement only,
                    but, its takes too time to connect through the
                    internet,

                            Sir / Madam,
                            I have requested Tata Docomo Service centre at Tezpur, Assam to discontinue my subscription of Tata photon internet connection on 13/8/12. I paid the bill of Rs.1018.00 for the month of Agust’12 (Service No [protected], Account No[protected] Tariff Plan photon plus 2 GB @ Rs750). They deactivated by internet connection on 13/08/12.
                            On 28/8/12 I received a bill of amount Rs. 1,018.00. for the month of AUG-2012 is due by 11-SEP-12. which should be around Rs.600.00 for the period of 20 days, which is not acceptable for the service deactivated on 13/08/12..Through I agreed to pay the amount but they declined to stopped my subscription and informed me that they will serve me another bill for the period of 23/08/ to 08/09/12 then only my service will be stopped otherwise the will send bill every month. This company is indulging in corrupt practice to exploit customers
                            I request you to look in to the matter and show me way to get rid of his problem..

                              My Tata Photon no. is [protected] and I registered a request for termination of services with Tata Photon's Park Street (Kolkata) outlet on the 22nd of August 2012. The disgruntled customers all around should have been a warning, however the employee at the desk politely "accepted" our request and sent an email to the required authorities who would process the termination request within ten days, and will give us a call regarding the same. When asked why he could not terminate services from the Park Street office itself, he said that some technical glitches were the reason why he had to delegate the cancellation order to some other place for the time being. We even asked for a receipt or a docket no., provided somebody claimed later that no grievance had been registered! But the employee assured us that the mail has been sent and that I will hear from the authorities within ten days.

                              We were also expressly informed that the final bill would be prepared on a pro-rata basis, and I would receive the bill after the cancellation procedure has been processed and done with.

                              Two weeks later on the 7th of September 2012, when I was on the verge of calling the ISP to know the status of my cancellation request, I received the bill for August 2012, which was NOT on a pro-rata basis, but a regular bill of Rs. 556/- (the full usage). Owing to family matters and my profession, I asked my partner to call Tata Photon up and intimate them about the wrong bill.

                              When she called them[protected], she was intimated that no cancellation request had been registered on the 22nd of August and that they would register it immediately. However, we would have to pay the bill that we received and perhaps even the September bill, since the delay in placement of request would result in yet another bill being generated. She was given a Cancellation Request no.[protected].

                              Upon hearing this ludicrous conjecture, I called the same number up on the morning of the 8th of September 2012. I talked to a Tata employee Mr. Himanshu Singh, and upon recounting the entire incident all over again and expressly threatening to go to the consumer court, I was told that I would be sent a pro-rata bill (upon confirming that there has been no usage of Photon since the afternoon of the 22nd, when the cancellation request was originally placed) and no additional bills would be generated and that my issue would be resolved within a few days.

                              I am looking forward to the issue being resolved soon. I was wrong to assume that the 'Good' service that Tata Photon had given me for the past one and a half years would stretch till the time I would cancel their service. Every single person trying to surrender his/her Tata Photon seems to be having some problem or the other (As is evident from the countless grievances all over the Internet or the crowd of people having to wait 2-3 hours in the Park Street office to register a complaint/cancellation request which is completely ignored later. Even I waited for the better part of two hours on a busy weekday in order to lodge the fruitless cancellation request).

                              Either Tata Photon hires completely clueless people who are terribly bad at their jobs, or this is part of an executive directive given to the poor employees- who are often the receiver of the customer's verbal wrath, to swindle and squeeze some more money out of the people who are about to surrender their Photon services!

                                Value added service 'Mitti ke rang' devotional songs was activated on 7th Sept 2012 and 30 rupees was deducted from my balance account of mobile phone no [protected].
                                When I contacted the customer care representative of TATA docomo and informed that i have not requested for any value added service and how they have activated that service and deducted 30 rupees from my balance.
                                In this regard the customer care representative told me that this was by mistake and the value added service will be de-activated.
                                They denied of refunding my 30 rupees which was deducted from my balance.
                                It is requested to look into this matter and kindly do the needful to refund my 30 rupees.

                                  Sir, I had recharged online my TATADOCOMO mobile No [protected] on 04 Sep 12 from Rs. 100/- . As per TATADOCOMO I am privileged costumer hence I got Rs.110/- out of this I had activated GPRS pack of 69 for 1.5 GB on the same day i.e. 04 Sep 12. After confirmation from TATADOCOMO about GPRS activation I start browsing. On the next dat i.e. 05 Sep 12 when I checked my balance in my mobile I found that only Rs. 0.11. Approx Rs. 35/- has been unnecessary deducted from my account. This is the fifth chance when TATADOCOMO Mobile Coy has deducted my balance. When I contact TATADOCOMO costumer care executive Miss CHANDA regarding unnecessary balance deducted from my mobile balance, she said that the charges has been deducted against using GPRS. Whereas I had activated GPRS pack of Rs. 69/- how it is possible that Approx Rs.35/- has been charged as GPRS Charge. May I request you to kindly instruct TATADOCOMO Customer care to do not harass the subscriber and do the needful for refund the excess amount debited from Mobile No [protected].

                                  Tata Docomo — Charging Unnecessarily for GPRS Usage

                                  I loved their services, and after all they too proved that they will cheat their good customers. Yes i was charged Rs 35 for accessing Dive in home page in my mobile. The thing is i don't have "dive in" settings and there is no need to for me to get into that site. I activated the Rs 95 GPRS pack and it's been active for more than 20 days. I've ... See Moregave a complaint on the poor (often no) internet connection in the night time. But this happened the next day of their repaired service.
                                  I just was browsing the google sites in my mobile with my internet settings (Tata Docomo internet) access point. There was an improper response from the cuctomer care too. they were repeating some sentence like" you have been charged correctly for what you use". they listened to me for 5 minutes explaining all these problems and again some other person came and i was explaining it to the other and everybody said the same thing again and again. this is the first time i am dissatisfied with some worst service from tata docomo. so guys be careful while browsing. And again i want to tell you guys that there was no mistake in my side as i was browsing in my mobile for the past 3 years. i have not recharged my mobile till then. i was using another service, who claims themselves equally good like this.
                                  TATA Docomo service is the worst. I habe not been able to open a single webpage from my phone, but they are giving lucrative offer to browse net from your phone. Just the worst service provider.
                                  I FEEL I AM TOTALLY CHEATED BY TATA DOCOMO.

                                  Tata to now pay cellphone customers for deficient service





                                  After pioneering per-second billing for mobile telephone calls, Tata Teleservices, which offers both GSM and CDMA services, has again unleashed an interesting initiative. It says its subscribers would be compensated if the company failed to meet pre-determined levels of service standards.

                                  The new ‘Customer Service Charter’ for its Tata Indicom users would include five customer commitments such as bill disputes, call drop and handset replacement, among others, which would guarantee pre-determined levels of service and support. And, includes compensation clauses for customers if the set levels are not met, the company said in a statement today.

                                  hi this is farhan shaikh , a docomo user nd my mob no is [protected],today i.e 19 december. in morning my balance was around 20 rs and around i got a update that der is no balance in my account, so i called the customer care and they told that i had used the gprs but durinh that time i was sleeping and i havnt used the gprs , i checked my whole file and i didnt found any downloaded file and in my gprs history i checked but there also it was nothing showing dat i hav use d the gprs, so pls help me, i aske d them for refund of my money but they were rude to me , i have the persons name also they are TOUSIF, PRIYANKA , RANJIT, PLZ HELP ME CONSUMER FORUM PMO G. q

                                    This is sireesha from chennai and am a Tata Docomo pre-paid customer. For the past 2 years, am using the same sim card. Recently i was receiving lots of messages about the std booster package so i did recharge for the same. But it was not activated, am still charged with regular call cost. Even after i recharged am still getting the message “that the Special tariff will expire soon”. I have recharged for this booster package many times, almost spent more than Rs.200 for activating, still it was not activated, despite calling customer care a lot of times. Whenever i call them, they console me for the present time telling they will activate soon, but they don’t seem to be doing the activation. Or else they will tell me to hold on line and then they just don’t get back to me even after long time waiting on the line.
                                    Very much irritated with the docomo activation service and worse than that, with the customer service. Very very poor customer care service...

                                      EVERY DAY I AM GETTING 5 TO 10 PRAMOTIONAL SMS INSPITE OF MINE DND IS IN ACTIVATION.
                                      WHEN CALLED COUSTERMERCARE THEY GOT ALL THE DETAILS AND NO RESULT. WHEN AGAIN I CALLED TO ENQUIRE THEY SAY MY DND SERVICE IS GOT DEACTIVATED BY THE SYSTEM BY MISTAKE.

                                      THEN I MAILED TO NODEL OFFICER THE MOST IRRESPONSIBLE GAY. I DID NOT GOT ANY REPLY FROM HIM.

                                      THEN I MAILED TO APPLELLATE OFFICER HE IS GOOD GAY ATLEAST CALLED & PROMISED ME THE BEST SERVICE BUT NO RESULT.

                                      I FORWARDED THE COPY OF THE MAIL TO TRAI TOO! GOVT BODY CAN NOT EXPECT ANY FAST ACTION FROM THEM.

                                      I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO STOP PRAMOTIONAL SMS AND CALLS.

                                      i activated rate cutter through sms received from tatadocomo two days before it was about to expire on 12/09/2012. and i got conformation for the same. and rs 35 got deducted from my balance.

                                      last week i recharged for 199 full tt twice so i got balance 400 in my a/c. now i found today that there is no balance and recharged for rs 250. and i came to know that per sec 1.5 paisa is geting deducted in my balance.

                                      i called 198 for the waited in que for 28 min. no one was there to respond to me.

                                      then i went nearest tatadocomo office at choolai main road chennai. and made complaint. he gave me the reference no PBR12099440.

                                      DAY BY DAY YOUR SERVICE IS DETOREATING.

                                      kindly do the need full. REFUND THE AMT WROUNGLY DEDUCTED. AND IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE.

                                        I had a landline connection with tatadocomo.[protected]. I asked for shifting 3 months before and they could not provide. As such I have asked for disconnection. It is over 3 months since the phone is disconnected but my deposit amount is not paid to me. Despite several mails to customer care my deposit amount is not returned. The reference numbers given by tatadocomo are as follows. disconnection of[protected] disconnection no.[protected]~~M9766795 -deposit refund not received[protected]~~M10037268. Despite several reminders to [protected]@tatatel.co.in my deposit amount is not received.

                                        Tata Docomo — disconnected the connection and not returning my deposit

                                        I have taken a new connection of Tata Docomo number [protected] which was activated on 30th Dec 2010. The number was deactivated in 1 days time without informing me. At the time of issuing me the number they have taken a deposit of 300 rupees as a security and now they are not returning it. I was not told that this money will not be refunded if i cancel the connection. But the connection was cancelled from their side and hence i am eligible for refund of my amount. Please help me in getting my money back as i haven't used their services for even a single day.

                                        I am yet to receive my deposit amount that I paid when I bought the tata photon USB device. I called up customer care about it, but till now I have gotten no updates. My tata photon account number is[protected] and the Tata Indicom number [protected].
                                        I had a broadband connection with tata docomo for almost a year . I called the customer care to stop my service they replied your connection will be disconnected . Next day your service person even came to stop d connection, he took my modem, telephone & also d wirings . I confirmed from him tht my connectin was dissconnected . But still tata docomo is sending me bills .
