Last week i ported my idea connection ([protected]) to Docomo. Before porting the number i visited Angamaly Docomo showroom [ Ernakumam Dist, Kerala] and made a detailed inquiry about the connection and network coverage. In that time the executive present in the shop told me that, there is coverage in my area and he compelled me to take a post paid connection. Fortunately or unfortunately i took Pre - Paid connection. And it get ported last week, eventually i came to know that there is no signal coverage in my area. I called customer care and register a complaint against this. First they told me to select "Aircel's network for connectivity, but it failed i tried this many times but no result. And again i called customer care they register the complaint and i got a feedback call from the technical team saying that, there is no coverage in my area, and probably i will not get any support from them till six months( literally they had no plan to increase the signal strength or placing new tower in our area). After hearing this, i again made a visit to Angamaly Docomo showroom, and i told my issues. In that time the representative present in the showroom behave very badly and scolded me many times. Later he told me that this is your fate, you are the only responsible person to check network and all, and we are not the one. There is no other alternative for me, and told me that even they are failing given service to Post paid users in the case of signal strength. the only option they suggest is, hold this sim or 2 moths and later port this number in to some other service. If this is the strategy your representatives are following, i am pretty sure that, there is no long life for Docomo.:(
Now i am in a situation that, there is no incoming call, no out going call, just like a death silent. The more interesting thing i noticed is that, 20 feet away from my home i am getting full signal strength. still they are not showing the interest to help me.
