Tata Docomo — Worst/fraud internet service/customer care and unprofessional billing department | |||||
I had been using this internet service tata teleservices wired line from more than an year. Most of the times there used to internet service downtimes, issues & most irritating thing the customer care - whenever you call it gets connected to a new person who spends time taking your details, giving you false assurances that the service will be restored in 1-3 days & they never bother to connect back after 3 days whether the service is restored and closes the complaint without notifying you. Also, you need to contact the billing department yourself for waiver for the internet service downtime (They only consider the time the complaint was active & not the actual time the internet wasn't working). I was bearing with these people from around an year but since april-2016 my internet wasn't working, inspite of several reports through email/phone the internet service was not restored - so i decided not to pay the bills, towards may their technician came and told that a new wire line needs to be replaced for me, he said he would do it in a week but the issue was not resolved. I called him several times he use to say some engineer will come to attend me but noone came so tired of all this i decided to surrender my connection but i was getting piled up by bills from billing department. I had also told them when one of the person called me for bill overdue that my internet is not working from april-16 and that's why i am not paying the bills but those fraudsters kept on piling up the bills for 3 months and then told me that my connection is now barred on account of non-payment of bills (: (The internet wasn't working all this time & i told them this every single time i was called but i guess they do not pay attention to that). Even the request for cancellation through email was cancelled by them twice and when i got a reminder call for due payments from one of their executives i was badly surprised to hear that my cancellation request was not received/active at their end whereas i had responses/calls from them against the cancellation requests given by me. Now they have threatened me with a demand notice to me that i would be liable to legal action if i do not pay approx. Rs. 3000 due (For months internet was not working). I am utterly disgusted with this unprofessional and shameful services from this service provider and taken a new internet connection. I am ok to face legal action even if it takes me to spend more for it but will l not surrender to threats from them. Was this information helpful? | |||||
