Hi tatadocomo,

Please stop sending this unwanted flash sms which is frustrating. When i am typing an sms or chatting from my mobile the yes button automatically gets pressed when ever a flash sms comes on screen. I have recently charged for that. My number is [protected] raghavendra rao chukka.

Kindly return me my balance deducted. Sorry to say but a very bad way to extract money

As per the conversation had with our team, we regret for the inconvenience caused to you. We would like to inform you that, in order to stop the flash messages which you are receiving, we request you to turn off the service messages option in the message settings of your handset as Message settings > push/flash/service messages > receiving options > off mode. However you may also visit mobile service center better assistance regarding the same. Kindly note that the flash message you are receiving is a feature based on handset support. It can be deactivated through the DIVE-IN option available as pop up/push messages in your handset. You will get the deactivation option to cancel this service. If still face same concern visit mobile service centre for further proceedings. Further, we would like to inform you that there is no wrong deduction found on your number. For your clarification you can get the all outgoing call details and data usage for your number through the prepaid bill by sending an SMS as PREPAIDBILL to 121 from your mobile number, an amount of Rs.25/- will be deductable from the main account balance for this facility which gives you last one month details. Hence, we request you to maintain minimum balance of Rs.25/- before sending the SMS. Kindly note that the same will be received within 5 days.

    I m using 2g tata docomo internet connection and my monthly bill never exceeds rs 400. Recently to my surprise tata docomo charged me a sum of rs 1980. They mentioned that i used 3g data since my mobile supports 3g sim. When told that i have opted for 2g plan and not 3g, they replied that i have changed setting in my mobile to use 3g instead of 2g and with that the company is obliged to charge for 3g without intimating the customer. The most hilirious part is that they charged me with 2g rate for the initial 2gb data as per plan and that above 2gb is charged as per 3g rates 1p/kb. My basic question is that if a customer has opted for 2g plan then why he is provided 3g network? The second comic thing is that when i told them to disconnect my sim and stop the service they told me that i will have to pay 7000 rs to close the connection since i used those new 2gb data with 2g and additional 3g data worth some 5000rs within 10 days. Sabse bada joke, i[censored] use tata docomo network to open any site it will take so much time that within that time 200 babies must be born globally. Worst network.

        I have been using tata photon wi fi max postpaid device for more than a year. I requested to port it to pre paid in the month of february 2016 on the day i paid my previous month's bill. I was not given any reciept or acknowledgment for that. When questioned, they told that the request has been raised and i will be receiving a call for that. Two months passed, i didn't get any call.

        One fine day a lady called me saying that she is from legal office and enquired about my two months bill, i refused to pay as i have raised request 2 months ago. She then apologised and requested to pay bill so that she would port my photon to prepaid from her end. Listening to her words, i paid my bill and called her to request to port. She told me that she has raised request and will send noc to my mail id. Week passed, i didn't get any mail. After frequent follow ups, there were no noc mailed to me. During the calls she assured me that i won't get any bill. But, i have received bill for the month of june and i was in a state of distress. There were frequent follow ups from tata photon asking me to pay bill. With lots of hatred in mind, i have paid my bill.

        I have all the audio proofs with me, i am ready to share them. Being part of tcs, even i couldn't tolerate this bad behaviour from tata services and i am not sure how a normal man could bare these kinds of activities. I beleive i would get a solution from this forum. Thanks in advance

          Sirs – We are troubled with this problem for way too long now, hope to get a resolution with this mail.

          31 March 2016 – Got installation for the broadband completed. Plan selected was KA20 mbps [protected]@1049 ( we were promised a unlimited calls on landline with this plan if we pay additional 100/- on this plan),

          3rd April 2016 – we called the customer service and checked when we can get the landline services, we were informed the services for landlines were still not started and they were in testing phase in this area. Bangalore East

          3rd April 2016 - we asked to change the plan to 1MBPs 10 GB download 549/-

          5th April 2016 – we got a prorate bill of about 250/- which we paid

          5th May 2016 – we got a bill of 549/- + Taxes (total of about 630/-) which we paid.

          5th June 2016 – we were surprised to get a bill of about 1200/- (with taxes) we didnt pay the bill

          13th June 2016 – we called the customer service to check how did we get the excess bill.. we are informed to our surprise that our plan is changed to KA20 mbps [protected]@1049/-. We don’t even know that we have changed the plan. We were on holiday for 15 days between 19th May to 2nd June, it was impossible to ask for change in plan

          We were assured the issue will be resolved by 13th July 2016.

          WE CHECKED OUR MAILBOX AND HAVE NEVER RECEIVED MAIL ON 2ND APRIL 2016 DATE FROM THIS PERSON.

          15th June 2016 – we got a mail dated 02 April 2016 from Mohammed.[protected]@tatatel.co.in (person who started our services) the above person stating that he has sent the mail to docomo marking cc to our registered id for change in plan.

          And hence plan was changed.

          NOW a few queries –
          a. If the mail for plan change was sent on 2nd April 2016, then it should have been from 5th April (our billing cycle) and the bill we got on 5th May should have been 1049/-, but we got the bill dated 5th June 2016 as 1049/-
          b. Without our acknowledgement can the bill be changed? Just because mail is sent from your employees emailed? We have not confirmed the mail or by call… (Because we never received the mail on 2nd April)

          5TH July 2016 - again received 1200/- bill, and earlier pending so total bill of around 2500/- (we paid 1200/- of this as our bill shoudl be 600/- per month)

          15th July 2016 – Our issue was still pending (in between we called atleast 2-3 times to customer care to check the status and we were assured by 15th July the issue will be resolved)

          So In the next customercare call I checked date by date about the issue and understood if the mail was sent on 2nd april, the April bill should have been access but it was the May usage bill (on 5th June) which has come access.

          Now I again get another mail from Mr Mohammed.Mateen, this time the mail dated 5th May 2016 and again our email id marked in CC but we never received the mail.

          This shows that both mails are fake mails sent by Mr. Mohammed.Mateen a Tatatel employees without our knowledge.

          And

          Even if the mails were sent, no one from Tatatel bothered to cross verify with us.

          as we never received the mail so we never replied to the mail saying ok for the plan, nor did we call the customer service to change our plan from our registered mail id or phone no..

          Does this mean that whenever tatatel employee wants he / She can change our plan marking some mail to some tatatel person without the customers knowledge???

          30th July 2016 – we received a mail from Tatatel stating that issue is resolved. Since we were marked in the cc of the mail sent by their own employee mr. Mohammed.Mateen, our plan was changed and we have to pay the bill.

          WE WILL NOT PAY THE EXCESS BILL AS WE WERE NEVER MARKED IN CC OF ANY SUCH MAIL, WE NEVER RECEIVED SUCH MAILS, WE NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED THE MAIL EVEN IF WE RECEIVED, NO ONE CONFIRMED WITH US IF WE WANT PLAN CHANGE, WE DID NOT ASK FOR THE PLAN CHANGED AND WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE CURRENT PLAN.

          INFACT WE HAVE ALL THE MAILS HERE AND WE CAN GO FOR A MENTAL HARRASSMENT CASE AGAINST Mohammed.Mateen AND TATATEL

          We have paid our bills which comes to about 630/- per month and remaining balance is of excess bill.

          Please resolve our issue asap AND waive off the access amount.

          Hope to get this issue solved.

          Now got a call from +91 [protected] and then from +[protected]..

          While the person said that he is working on giving us waiver, he asked us our PayTM or SBI no to waive off the amount, which we refused to give as we do not wish to share our personal details.

          He disconnected the call, again without solving the issue.

            Sir i'm from villege parsiya tehsil teonthar rewa m. p. there is no tower of tata docomo near our villege. thatswhy the people of my villege has no choice except mnp to the another network companies like idea, voda, airtel. more than 2000 men and women live in my villege who use mobile phones to talk but they are suffering from lack of network facility. please do ask the company tata docomo to install a tower. about 10 years ago people of my villege was using tata indicom becuause their good talktime service. but after installaition of idea tower in our villege, tata network might not able to reach to our villege. which is i stalled so far about 10 km. so it is required to install an tata tower, to stop further suffering.

            Hi! On 07-Aug-2016, all outgoing calls and SMS will be charged at base tariff rate. SMS or Call pack benefits will not apply on this day.


            This massage I got today and all other festivals. I couldn't understand why it is impose on us. It shouldn't be. All the festivals should be same.

              Some stupid person with [protected] number is disturbing my friend continuously from 2-3 months, sending messages full day n night n annoying... I'm not able to find name of this number on truecaller also, could only find out that's it's Docomo & location is Bangalore, I want to know who's this, cause it might be some back stabber ... ...please let me know the name of the person who owns this number currently ... please help... ...

                It's really shameful that your company service centre is not making any effort in improvising the condition of the surrounding of their shop.
                It's almost a week since i am watching people falling into this 2*3 feet open drain.
                After complaining also there was no betterment done by tata docomo people therefore today i spent my own money to fix this problem

                    My wifi router is out of service since over 8-9 months now and in spite of repeated complaints at various forums available, i am not able to get the require support. I am finding this as a worst service provider which is extremely surprising considering that it is a tata brand.

                    I have earlier also written to appellate but other than informing that the services has been suspended (Which i am anyway aware of), there is no further action.

                    It is surprising that despite so many complaints till date not a single person from company has called me to understand the problem & resolve.

                      We had bought to simcards from pune, from "smartek marketing. The salesman taken our documents and deposit of rs.350 for each simcard.In that one is new connection and another is for porting. But tha provider did fraud with us.
                      We given our documents and deposit on 23 june, 2016. But till today that simcards are not activated, the hr of the"smartek marketing" is not answering us properly.
                      So please help us getting out of this.

                          I don't know what the heck is wrong with tata docomo connection. First of all, there is call drop during important calls and secondly, nothing can be properly heard and i can hear only distorted voices over the call. I need immediate action and this problem needs to be solved. If not solved i will be forced to contact higher authorities!!
                          I am experiencing this since 2 years and it is continuing till date.

                            I took broadband internet services from tata docomo around december 2015. After about 2 months of service, the quality of service dropped to very bad conditions. I would usually get 2-3 mbps connection even when my plan was for 8 mbps. The issue kept on pushing, i complained a lot, engineer visited was very difficult to get. Docomo does not care at all, they charge me for full service, however for the past 4-5 months i am getting mediocre service. Ultimately the service engineer told me that it was flat's internal wiring's fault. I got that changed for 400 rupees. Even then docomo's service did not improve. I upgraded my plan to a 16 mbps plan, however still many a times i get a mediocre speed, sometimes it is 2-3 mbps only. Morover tha latency continously keeps on spiking. I have talked to a variety of people inside docomo, i get stupid responses, or assurance that it will be fixed blah blah, every time i complain, i get the response that i will get callback or our team is looking into it, (The personnel i am talking to directly), keep on making excuses, but are not fixing the problem. As a customer, in my area, the service is only provided by bbnl and docomo, i shifted to docomo for the reason bbnl's service was not satisfactory. However docomo is enot good either, this a violation of availability of choice to customer, morover, on what basis is docomo charging me full plan bill even when they are not able to provide a proper service? I have network usage logs, speed test screenshots and everything saved. I have shared those with the customer care as well. But nobody is trying to fix the problem.                             Now the speed is so low and latency so high that the speed test doesn't even complete. Is Docomo punishing me for complaining here on the forum or something? Internet is practically unusable now. They've posted above that it will be resolved soon, but so far I haven't been communicated with or see any progress from my end.

                              I have never seen such worst customer care support like this I not purchased post paid sim from tata Docomo but they asking to pay for two post paid sim, some customers sales girl called and said wrong plan and they sent a sim to my address and some one from tata Docomo called and explaining another plan this only activated in your which I gonna get in few days immediately I said to raise a compliment and cancel all my sim which I asked totally 3 sim but they canceled only one sim rest two they not de active now they asking to pay the bill I not been used and brought the sim from the customer then how I can pay the bill

                                I recharge with 197 pack where they send me msg that this pack has 30 days validity... But it's end in 15day only... I talk to their representatives also they also cheat me they told me that they will extend my validity but they didn't... My name is saubhagya gupta n my phn no is [protected]... Plz help us regarding this... Representative name is rashmi... Seriously i want either they extend my validity or give me minimum 90 rs... I would really appreciate if you help me!!

                                  Hello sir,
                                  We are using tata docomo wired broadband with [protected]@1425 this plan. the actual plan is, for rs 1425 you get download speeds up to 5 mbps and uploading speeds o[censored]p to 1 mbps for 40gb. after exceeding the fup limit of 40gb, download speeds will be reduced to 512 kbps and uploading will be reduced to 256 kbps.

                                  Here after we are getting 3 mbps as average download speed
                                  And 0.7 mbps as upload speed instead it should be 5:1 download and
                                  Upload speed
                                  Kindly take review on complain and resolve our problem

                                    I, ms sohini dutta have been a customer of tata photon max wi fi duo bearing the number [protected] since march 2015. my experience with this connection in kolkata had been fine however while taking this connection i had repeatedly intimated the sales executive that my job requires frequent travelling and i would had the connection to be robust across and that was reason for me to choose this connection. i am in bangalore since last 2 months for my official assignment and i am suffering tremendously due to absolute service of your photon network. neither in my home nor in my office i am getting any connectivity.

                                    I lodged a complaint at the callcenter bearing the number sr[protected] which was forwarded to your techinician mr shivraj who visited my house and tested the connection. he stated that i shall not be getting any 3g connectivity here and also the 2g connectivity which is named as photon whiz is also not available at my locality. i am also attaching the connectivity report which was provided by mr shivraj. he forwarded the request to the network team who have just closed the request without any intimation. this is absolute pathetic service though the product was sold to me with assurance that it will work anywhere in india without any trouble.

                                    I am not been able to use your service at all for the last few months for which i have faced tremendous harassment, hardship as well as embarrassment in my professional sphere. it is clear that you have sold me the so called internet service by making false representation, knowing fully well that you will not be able to provide the service promised while procuring the business.

                                    I would need you to immediately withdraw your last bill amounting to rs 1149/- as you have not provided any service. for the impeccable harassment, mental anxiety and professional embarrassment i suffered you are liable to compensate me with rs 1, 50, 000/-.

                                    Unless you comply with the above, i shall be constrained to approach regulatory authorities with regard to the service fraud your company is committing; and shall also initiate appropriate legal proceeding against your company.

                                      Greetings,

                                      Recently we had given a complaint to the Tata DoCoMo customer service that we have been miscommunicated about the CUG. The Tata DoCoMo Number is [protected]. Previously call came from Cust Service that you can activate CUG from call itself and no need to go to showroom. Then, we have been advised in call that CUG is active. Suddenly when the June Bill arrived, we were shocked to look at the bill amount of more than RS 1000.00. When we called Cust Service and came to know that CUG is not active.
                                      Now we were using the calls thinking that CUG is active, but when we went for complaining this incident to Tata DoCoMo, they were not at all helpful. It has been a month and they are sending us the next month bill itself, but cant resolve our complaint. We even told them to pull all the incoming calls which came from their customer service representatives to find out the miscommunication. Even then, its of no use.
                                      We told them to waive off all the calls which were charged considering that we were miscommunicated about the CUG. The Incident number raised is M27357394. The Docket Number is[protected].
                                      Kindly help us to resolve this issue. They are saying we cant even change the number to prepaid connection unless we pay the bill. We are not saying we cant pay the bill, we are saying we cant pay the bill because of the charges arose due to the miscommunication from Tata DoCoMo.

                                      As per the telephonic conversation had with our team, you have expressed dissatisfaction towards delay in activation of CUG and billing. We regret for the inconvenience caused to you. We would like to inform you that CUG can be activated for the Tata Docomo Postpaid connections only and calling will be free between the numbers under same CUG id. Kindly note that CUG was not active on your number. Also, we would like to inform you that upon verifying our records we found that we have already provided the billing adjustment of Rs.150/- on 26-JUL-2016 and your current outstanding after adjustment is Rs.1255/-. Further, we request you to provide the details of the agent(name and contact number) who has given the commitment regarding CUG to proceed further.

                                        Respected Sir,

                                        I am receiving harassing phone calls from a number: +91 [protected]. The person just calls me and keeps asking for my location. He has been calling me several times at night and also during day. Please take appropriate action to block this number and put an end to all these calls. No wonder how many people he has been harassing too.
