I upgraded from photon plus to photon wifi max duo on 6th April 2016. after the customer care, I was given the offer of Rs. 200 discount every month for next 15 months. so I upgraded the device and bought the new device for Rs. 2899. However, from the first bill itself, the discount of Rs. 200 was not given. After repeated calls to customer care, I was finally told that there was a minimum plan requirement (of Rs. 750 & above) in order to avail the offer and as I had a basic Rs. 400 monthly plan, it wasn't applicable for me. This led to innumerable attempts from my end to reason out with tata DoCoMo that I was not told about this basic requirement while purchasing/upgrading the device. I have whole trail of emails as well proving my point.
I finally surrendered by connection as a protest. I also requested them to trace the call records from my registered number, in which I was never informed about such a requirement.
However, they have failed to trace such calls. Although they have given some waiver of the disputed amount on two bills, I request for a device refund was not processed. As my device was hardly used for a month, it makes no logic for me to keep it. I am full time student and the amount of Rs. 2899 invested for this device is an absolute waste for me. I want a full refund of this amount. I have had enough of this terrible call sessions with DoCoMo persons, who are all insensitive and worst, illogical. they have wasted a lot of time as well.
