Hi,

I sent my car for servicing to metro motors Ambala Cantt on 14th of feb.
After receiving the delivery my car was in the garage for 2 days, and next day when we started it, it was not responding.

I complain to these [censored]amp;g people that this is happening, and they said car battery must be discharged. Infact there was a new battery.

Then we sent car to them again somehow, but they said car is fine now.
and today we started again... and its down again..


Is there anyone from tata motors... who can admit that you guys are just ....

Dear Sirs,

Sub:- Complaint for interior attitude from Fortune Cars Pvt.Ltd., Nerul.
My vehicle No.MH06AW-1740-Linia.

I sincerely feel that I did great mistake by purchasing Linia. After 4 Maruti vehicles in past instead of SX4 I purchased Linia was grave error as there is no difference in quality of either earlier management of fiat service provider and or Fortune car. I will be displaying following message on Linia for benefit of Indians.








I was never happy with poor quality service and attitude of Fortune Car Pvt.Ltd., & detailed complaint is as follows:-
1. May be before few months I gave vehicle ( LInia ) for servicing and informed that left rear winder glass motor is not working.

2. Mr.Jitendra told me that although running is 20000 km( twenty thousand) only the warranty period is over and you will have to pay RS.8500/- for motor.

3. It was acceptable, but demanded letter and Jitendra told me that it is ready, it is sent by post etc. etc…… I never received any letter till date.

4. I was prepared to pay but Jitendra told motors are out stock ( It has to be with such quality! )

5. There was promise that he would contact me when motor is available…….. He never contacted me .

6. On 28th May 2012, I noticed yellow engine light with message – Engine check.
7. Informed Fortune Cars Pvt.Ltd., and car was taken from by residence on 29th May 2012.

8. Mr.Jitendra informed me that rats have eaten wire and replacement is RS.5500/- and motor RS.8500/-. With protest I agreed and told Jitendra with warship experience that I like to keep her fault free and I do not have choice so I would pay.

9. I was told by Mr.Jitendra that E-mail is sent ( probably to Italy or may be to Delhi ) and you will have to wait for reply up to 2nd June 2012.

10. Evening 1700 hr. Mr.Jitendra told me that I will have to pay 50% and no cheques are accepted only cash would be accepted.

11. This was salt on wound………as you do not have faith in your customers ( may be you know that you have cheated them & they do not like you ).

12. Now I have taken Bank draft……..as company insisting for cash only…………what to say! Maruti people are better 7 even Gangal Motor, panvel accepts cheques and have full faith in us.

13. Earlier I have had problems of rats entering cabin and your sadist repairing department never bothered to shut ventilators even after 3 times submissions of vehicle.

Sincerely I am sandwiched between rats and cats of fortune and would like to get rid of this vehicle ……..can you help me.

I also want to start campaign not to purchase a vehicle which is serviced by Fortune cars Pvt.Ltd. they have more faith in cash business & not in customers.

I own Tata Indica EV2 Xeta. My car got damaged as tree fell on it few days back. I had taken my car to WASAN Motors, MG Road, Kandivali (W), Mumbai for repair. They checked my car and quoted cost of 70K and gave me documents to submit to insurance company. The insurance company approved my claim but when I received invoice from Wasan Motors it was of 30K. When I asked them why the cost was low they said that they have fixed the damage without replacing them. The major damage was done to Front Glass which was replaced, Right hand side back door and to the roof. I told them if its done please give my car to service department for servicing. The Service Agent called me and informed that there is no major service to do apart from regular servicing of car. They charged me 15K for paid services. When I went to pick up my car I was shocked to see my car in shaaby condition. Immediately I informed the Service agent and he said it will get the cleaning done. I don't understand why car was not cleaned when I was charged for the cleaning services. Today also there are stains of paints and other chemicals on my car.

When I went for drive with the service agent the car was not starting. He informed that battery has become week and will have to replace after 2 months. When I had given the car the battery was fine and there was no issue to which he had no answer. While driving a car some noise were coming from backside, when I asked him about the noise I was told that back seats are not locked that's why the noise is coming. I paid my bill and left from service centre. The noise from back was still there, when I went out with my family in my car they started complaining that noise is too much and unbearable. I took my car to service centre again and ask them to recheck the noise. I was informed that both the shock ups has damaged and need to be replaced. I went and met CRM and told her the entire senario and questioned her that how the shock ups got damage all of sudden when none of your service agent or quality manager had reported the problems in their report. They took my car back after 3 days and changed the part and charged me 4000/- rs for their mistake. My car battery got completely discharged next day and i had to get it replaced from one of the authorised dealer of tata.

The CRM was not at all listening to me and refused to talk to me on billing. I quietly paid the charges and went to pick my car which was again in the shaaby condition. I called CRM out of office and showed her my car condition, she quickly called all the workers and fixed the problems. She did not even had a courtesy to say "SORRY" for what all happened.

I ended up paying 55K for the most horrible service provided to me. I am not concerned about the money I had paid but disheartened with the service given to me. Today when I look at my car I feel really bad.

If this is the kind of service TATA provides then why should I buy your any of the products that are available in the market? I will soon sell off my car and buy another car of MARUTI or FORD who has got better customer services and quality then TATA. I will not recommend TATA to anybody in my life

    I would like to bring to your notice regarding the severe incident that happened while I was driving my car to attend an important social meeting towards Motinagar, Hyderabad from my residence with my family on Saturday February 19, 2011. At around 1930 HRs after driving around 12 KMs. from my residence, the car suddenly emitted lots of smoke from engine and caught with fires all of sudden. My Wife and children were traumatized and were panic and got out of the car to save ourselves. Before our eyes the engine and the interiors of the car were charred, which kept us in embarrassing situation and that too in the mid of the crowded road. The fire was so intense that we had to get the assistance of fire engine to control it. We were weird how the fire broke, and that to with the Engine of the vehicle. I hope I am eloquent in my agony and pain which I have faced on the day which should not happen with anyone. I will be ruthless to bare any further expenditure to get my car repaired and demand for the replacement with new one with TATA. We have registered a complaint with S R Police station for the incident happened where we felt strongly that this a solecism and a breach of EHS Norms from the manufacturing end of TATA which kept my Family and personal life in critical situation

          I own a TATA INDIGO MANZA Qjet AURA + (REG no: TN 20 BD 4455). Starting from the day of taken delivery till today.

          Within 6 months of ownership, My car has undergone multiple services (Majority is rework for the work done).

          Complaint detail:

          1. WHETHER PROPER PDI has been done by TATA MOTORS before shipping the car to the DEALER (TAFE REACH LIMITED - CHENNAI)?
          2. Not sure on whether a PDI has been done by the dealer before delivering the car to me?
          3. No faith on the Dealer whether they have delivered me a new car / a one which had problems has been delivered to me?

            I regret to inform you that I have purchased a TATA INDICA TCIC AQUA VISTA BS3 on 31.12.10 via home delivery through Mandi gobindgarh showroom (Hemant goyal Motors Pvt Ltd, Patiala) after two weeks of purchase I came to know the following:

            1. Front and Rear bumper Repainted
            2. Driver Door Repainted
            3. Bonut Repainted

            First of all they have sold me such a low standard vehicle which I m sure is not a policy of yours when I went to meet the representative of Hemant Goyal Motors Pvt Ltd at Patiala and shown my vehcle inspite of taking the necessary steps or action they are making me run around in all directions lead to wasting my time.

            TATA is really a big name my question is that how can company sold a vehicles without any authentication and such a behaviors from your executives members is not at all expected.

            Moreover i was shocked when i took this vehcle for servicing i come to know that this vehle has been resold to me by the company when the represented of service centre checked the engine and chasis no.
            this seems to be a big fruad

            we have been the regular customer of Tata Motors as earlier we have purchased Tata indica Turbo and and Tata Safari Dicor and now Tata Indica Vista.

            I am writing with a hope that after seeing this letter of mine you would immediately take the necessary steps as deemed fitted .

              To TATA FINANCE

              This in reference to your letter dated 6.01.11and continues follow-up with the branch of Pandit Automotive Pvt Ltd (Branch Code-NPNP), Pune.
              My Contract No- [protected], Customer No- [protected], Regn No- MH14CC 8267.

              I had been told my EMI cycle will start from 20th of each month by the marketing executive at Pandit Auto (Pimpri) his name is Mr Nitin Patil. But Unfortunately the first EMI was preponed without my intimation. The first advance EMI cheque was also not cleared as per information given. I had not been given the Re-payment schedule in writting where in the details of Installment No, date, Interest Part, Principle amount, Total everything is mentioned. Still I have to receive the same, inspite of follow-up with Pandit Auto pune they fail to give it.

              The first EMI was send for clearing before 20th due to which it was not cleared, as the funds were up dated on 18th as told by the Marketing Executive. I maintain 4 bank accounts hence for clearing loan payment I transfer funds before due date but due to your representative mistake of wrong date communication and not sending the repayment schedule via post or via e-mail I am charged some fine as late payment charges. I communicated the same problem to the collection person Mr Rahul but he gave Mr Lanjekars contact who did not solve the problem and again gave suggestion to contact the marketing executive. As expected he replied he was helpless then again contact finance company toll free no where I was told they cant do anything as this was dealers case. Nither Delear is sloving this issue nor the finance company...................For the mistake of these people why should I bear the late finance charges?

              I told the collection person Mr Rahul to collect cheque in his first visit but he refused to do so without fine. Pls look in the matter and request you to remove the late payment charges. Paying the installment was never the issue but why are you not recovering the late payment charges from the finance company or delear's employee. Few hundred rupees was not the problem but all the people I communicate in this regards were helpless and hopless, they infact troubled me a LOT.

              Why should a decent customer face this issues, for you people cannot solve the problems when the customer is ready to pay the installments in time if informed.
              I have informed Mr Rahul to collect cheque twice but he has not come. Pls see all other installments are cleared without issue.............which means the one which was bounced, would have not bounced if your company had informed me properly.

              Pandit Automotives — NOC not giving inspite of clearing all EMI's

              Hi,

              We had purchased TATA Indica V2 car in Oct- 2003. We had given Post Dated cheques of HDFC bank, but after couple of EMI's were paid one of the cheque bounced (around Dec-2003) and then we told the Pandit automotors that we would like to pay the remaining EMI's by hand/cash, and then they agreed and we started paying EMI's by cash on Pandit automotors - tathavade office. So all EMI's were cleared in Aug-2008 and we asked for the NOC of the car.
              Now they are saying that -

              - As our 1 cheque had bounced we didnt payed the EMI of that month and we need to pay the EMI+penalty( from 2003 to 2008). They didnt notified us on the very next month that your chq has bounced and we need to pay this much amount.
              - As we agreed paying the EMI's by cash they still issued our HDFC cheques in bank and which got bounced due to insufficient funds. When asked that how could you drop our HDFC chq's in bank as we were paying by cash on their office counter they told we were not aware of this. (this is rediculous)
              - They told that our bla bla..EMI's were not payed, but we payed and we had the receipt of the EMI's payed. For most of the reciepts they didnt had the reciept-no enteries in their computers and i was shocked that they still added this payed EMI's penalty.

              - We used to get letters (after aug-2008) about the due amount to be payed, but when we called them for clarification about the letter they said, sir its just for sake of sending and we asked them about any such due from our side they said, no as of now no due, its ok i[censored] had paid the EMI.

              So please help me with this case. As they aren't taking any responisbility and throwing the whole ball on our side when we said that u are not having enteries of the reciepts paid and u have added that in penalty, how could you do this as we have all the reciepts.

              Please please !!!!
              help me, as this Pandit automotors- is not giving our NOC. I kindly request for help and support to consumer court.

                  I bought a nano car from M/s Kulathunkal Motors, Trivandrum during Oct 2010. The company had given free warranty for the car for 18 months. In addition to this, I bought a paid warranty for 2 years by payment of 2750. Thereafter, the company declared that the car would carry a free warranty for 4 years/60000 km and included all nano cars on the road. I therefore requested the company either to refund the money paid to them for additional 2 years or this period of paid warranty may be given after company period of 4 years. However, the company refused to accept either of them and unilaterally included the paid warranty in company warranty of 4 years. Those who paid money and bought additional warranty were taken for a ride.

                  In the interest of consumers, voluntary organisations should take up this case with the Govt so that in future no other company is allowed to slash away the consumers' money in this way. Dy Commandant(Rtd) V Sasidharan Mob [protected]

                    Non Refund of Booking Amount
                    Dear Sir,

                    I have applied for the cancellation of my alloted Tata Nano on 22/09/2010 Its over 3 months now I have still neither received any response from Tata Motors nor the refund of Booking Amount. I have made several calls to their call centre with a promise everytime that I will receive a cheque within a week.

                      I WANTED TO GET TO YOUR NOTICE THAT AFTER PURCHASING A NEW CAR FROM TATA MOTORS I WAS OFFERED 4 FREE SERVICES , BUT WHEN I WENT FOR FIRST FREE SERVICE AND GAVE MY CAR TO WASAN MOTORS PVT LTD. IN DEONAR WORKSHOP THEY CHARGED ME RS 360.00 SAYING THAT THERE IS A MINIMUM CHARGES OF RS 100.00 KNOWN AS SCHEDULE SERVICE CHARGE TAKEN FROM ALL THE CUSTOMERS AND SOME 260.00 EXTRA WAS CHARGED SAYING THAT THEY HAVE PUT SOME OIL IN THE DOOR LOCK ETC KNOWN AS STANDARD CHECK AS MENTIONED ON THE BILLS DATED 31ST AUGUST 2010 . SAME WHEN I GAVE MY CAR FOR SECOND SERVICE AT THE OFFICIAL TATA CAR REPAIR SHOP AT WORLI ON 7 TH JANUARY 2011 THEY CHECKED THE COMPLETE CAR AND SERVICED IT AND CHARGED ME ZERO FEES IN THE BILL . THIS IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OFFICIAL COMPANY STORE AND DEALERS SERVICE POINT LIKE WASAN MOTORS WHO CHARGE THE CUSTOMERS AFTER ITS MENTIONED "FREE SERVICE " ..

                        I TOOK DELIVERY OF MY TATA INDIGO ECS GLX FROM LEXUS MOTORS LTD, KOLKATA ON 29 OCTOBER 2010. SINCE INCEPTION THE ENGINE MALFUNCTION LIGHT REMAINED ON. I HAVE SO FAR SENT THE 4 TIMES TO THE WORKSHOP OF LEXUS MOTORS AT BUDGE BUDGE TRUNK ROAD TO GET IT FIXED ONLY TO GO WRONG WITHIN A FEW DAYS. I HAVE LODGED SEVERAL WRITTEN COMPLAINTS WITH TATA MOTORS BUT THEY ARE NOT LEFT WITH ANY REPUTATION WHAT JRD BUILT UP. THEY SIMPLY RETURN ROUTINE REPLIES, CARING A FIG FOR THE PROBLEM. MY CAR NUMBER IS WB O6 E 7069 REGISTERED IN KOLKATA. EVERY TIME I HAVE TO SPEND A LOT OF FUEL, TIME AND ENERGY BUT NOTHING IS HAPPENING TO THE CAR ONLY THREE MONTHS OLD. I AM DISGUSTED WITH THE TATAS, ITS PRESENT MANAGEMENT AND ITS WORKMANSHIP. THE FUEL CONSUMPTION IS ALSO HORRIBLE.

                        I firmly believe that all dealers of Tata Motors cannot be bad rather the company that is allowing the dealers to take customers on the ride is on fault. It is the irony that the product is sold on company's goodwill but for services the onus is put on dealers and the co. escapes scot-free.

                          We have bought Tata Winger (Commercial)through M/s ACT India during October. Since the day two we bought, the vehicle started given various problem and most of the time the vehicle was at service station. On 1st December, the Vehicle, Displayed Engine Problem. We have sent the Vehicle for Service on 2nd December. Till date we have not received our vehicle fully serviced and the vehicle is still with them. They found the total engine had some problem and they have changed the entire engine we guess (no updates from the service team properly). We were surprised to hear that a new vehicle giving engine trouble. We have spent around a lakh to acquire this vehicle. The balance amount was funded through Sriram Finance - Tambaram, chennai. Need a launch a consumer complain on Tatamotors and Act india for such a lethargic and irresponsible attitude. The contract we had also came to an end as the vehicle was not running properly and had breakdowns often. The service people or the sales people are not responding properly.

                          Service team promised to deliver the vehicle after service by 3.30Pm yesterday[protected]. But not given it yet.

                          Request you to please take some action and we need them to pay compensation for all our frustration and loss. I have pledged all my wife's jewels to buy this winger but i could not able earn money through this instead got high BP and Hypertension due this dealing.

THE QUALITY OF VECHILE IS VERY POOR THE NEW CAR DOES NOT HAD PROPER PICK UP, HEADLIGHTS USED TO GET OFF AUTOMATICALLY WHILE DRIVING, POWER WINDOWS WORK SOMETIMES FROM DRIVER SIDE AND SOMETIMES FROM LEFT SIDE. BRAKE LIGHT USED TO BE ON MANY TIMES. ONE OF THE DOOR USED NOT TO GET LOCK BY CENTRAL LOCKING. AND DOORS HAVE TO BE PUSHED FOR LOCKING IT MEANS DOORS ARE LEFT OPEN WHILE WE LOCK IT.                                 At the onset it is very disheartening to note that you are facing issues like these with a new vehicle. I am a tata vehicle owner too and have been having a lot of trouble with TATA Motors' service, spares, etc. and am looking at initiating legal action against them. If your problems have not been solved by TATA Motors, I would request you to kindly get in touch with me on my mobile no. [protected] so that we could work together and teach TATA Motors a lesson they will not forget.

                                I am a resident of Mumbai and have already spoken to a number of people who have been having a lot of issues similar to the ones you have been facing and are willing to join me in initiating legal action against TATA Motors.

                                Once I have your details and information about the problems faced by you, I can forward the same to capable solicitors and we shall initiate the legal action against TATA Motors.

                                Kindly be advised that all legal costs shall be borne by all participants equally and proportionally, hence you need not worry about spending a lot of money.

I put car but car problem is not solve as a company level beacause,cargo company's fitting is so diffrent tata company's fitting. what is the meaning purchas new car because, I put car in to 5 to 6 days(many time). My business is automobiles all gujrat. I go all gujrat's touring for business purpose. I could not go touring in last 45 days. because of thos reason I got very lose my business, my mind is very mentaly harasment for it. YOU KNOW VERY WELL THERE IS A NO ANY PROBLEM IN THE NEW CAR.                                   In the first week of August, I paid Rs. 10000 for booking of Tata Indigo eCS LX and on 28/03/2011, I submit the DD of Rs. 571994 in Ujwal Automotives Pvt. Ltd. in Jalgaon branch. I got car on 28/03/2011. I notice that no FM Antina is fitted on my car. I survey numbers of Tata Indigo eCS LX car, I found that those who are purchase such a car earlier than me, they having FM Antina is fitted on his car. I purchase my car later than them.

                                  Does my car model of old version also what are the remediates in my car, please clarify my doubts as early as possible. Also I think that excess payment was taken from me. I paid total Rs. 581994 to Ujwal Automotives Pvt. Ltd. in Jalgaon branch.

                                    I had paid an amount of Rs 1,00,000.00 (rupees one lakh only) against booking of I Tata Indigo cs e gls vide an account payee cheque of state bank of Bikaneer and jaipur in Favour of M/s Abhishek Motors Pvt Ltd,,to their tezpur personnel Mr Dhurba Jyoti Neog .He provided me with a receipt No 7333 dated 16-07-10 of M/s Abhishek Motors (P) Ltd M.R.D.Road,Silphukhuri Road Guwahatii 781003.The account payee cheque bears a number 520839 and is dated 16-07-10.
                                    As the Tata finance was not forthcomming i had written a letter to M/s Abhishek motors Pvt Ltd at guwahati and Tezpur branch asking for refund along with interest on 25-09-10. There has been no response from either Guwahati or Tezpur offices.
                                    I met the Tezpur personnel and asked for the money when he issued me a cheque no 802631 of account no [protected] of state bank of India Mission chariali branch(Tezpur) dated 8-10-10 which has been dishonoured.
                                    When I contacted the Guwahati office they had asked me to take the money from the tezpur office
                                    I am at wits end of recovering the same.
                                    Please do intervene for a speedy refund.

                                    I m working as an “ASSISTANT ENGINEER” in UTTARAKHAND GOVERNMENT posted at Kotdwar, Uttarakhand . I bought INDIGO CS GLX 2009 model from I.S.MOTORS ROORKEE. Now I am planning to buy a TATA SAFARI in 2011. So I traveled more than 150 kms. From Kotdwar to Roorkee for a TEST DRIVE of SAFARI at I.S.MOTORS ROORKEE at Dehradun Road.

                                    I requested them for a TEST DRIVE of SAFARI in I.S.MOTORS Roorkee. But they didn’t respond me well . I had to wait there for a TEST DRIVE of SAFARI more than 3 hours. And I asked them for a TEST DRIVE more than 5 times again and again. Unfortunately ! They disappointed & ill treated me each and every time, as I requested to them for a Test Drive . At last I couldn’t make a TEST DRIVE . A great disappointment for me .

                                    At last, kindly my request to you, please arrange a Test Drive of safari for me and customers like me, at my place KOTDWAR, district Pauri Garhwal.

                                      my safari had made kilometer till now 73,941.but my car has broken 2 times of timing belt,one at 60,000 and another at 73,941.but in book it was written that after 1,00,000 kilometer TIMING BELT has to be changed.but this had happened 2 times but last time at 73,941 kilometer many things has broken like, Cylinder head and head gasket, oil pump and drive, crankshaft and related bearing and seals, timing gears, belts and chains, camshaft and related bearing and seals, cam follower,valve gear, pistons, connecting rod, gudgeon pin, internal oil seals, bore / liner, turbocharger, inter cooler units where factory fitted ALL HAS BROKEN SERIOUSLY.1 month has over my tata safari is at now JUST SERVICE kolkata 1 month has over but my car is not ready YEAT i am very much tensed.my car is in warrenty and i am not getting any help till now,this is the service of TATA MOTORS.i have done a great mistake by buying tata safari.MR RATAN TATA WOULD STOP HIS TATA SAFARI PRODUCTION OH OH NOT ONLY TATA SAFARI BUT ALL TATA CARS TATA CAN'T GIVE SERVICE,TATA IS BEST FOR SELLING SALTS AND ALL STATIONARY GOODS.

                                        I had booked a NANO CAR at Rs. 140000/- (One lac fourty thousand only) and I was alloted the car also. But I had cancelled the alloted car and submitted the necessary documents and applied for the refunding of the booking amount. But 5 months has since been elapsed i have not been refunded my booking amount yet and on asking the customer people is not responding properly.
                                        Kindly suggest what can be done in this case.

INITIALLY IT WAS TOLD BY CALL CENTRE THAT MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED IN 45 DAYS. THERE-AFTER IT WAS TOLD THAT MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED WITH IN 45 WORKING DAYS. NOW, WHENEVER I CALL CALL CENTRE THEY SIMPLY SAY THAT YOUR REFUND IS IN PROCESS. I HAD TALKED TO CALL CENTRE ATLEAST 10 TIMES AND EVERY TIME THEY SAY THE SAME THING. MY COMMUNICATION THRO E-MAIL TO TATA MOTORS IS ALSO NOT RESPONDED. WHEN I ASK CALL CENTRE TO GIVE ME SOME OTHER CONTACT NO. THEY SIMPLY SAY THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY OTHER NO.
