Due to unprofessional behaviour by tata sky technicians (They refused to relocate my tv dish on 31-oct-2018) and subsequent re-scheduling and no technician showing up on the provided appointment dates, i had asked tata sky to cancel my account and refund my balance. Tata sky has done neither, and representatives keep calling and emailing asking me "if you wish to cancel your account", despite me clearly detailing the request for cancellation by phone and email. With each email, they provide a reduced balance available for refund, and have not taken any steps towards cancellation or refund. The refund to be provided should be my balance as on 31-oct-2018. I cannot be expected to keep answering their calls, and have told them multiple times to stop calling me. This is customer harassment and needs to stop.

      Reproduction of my recent e-mail to Nodal Officer, Tatasky, Maharashtra and Goa:

      Dear Nodal Officer,

      As the e-mail from your end (from Somashekara) makes clear, you cancelled my Tatasky Account (Subscriber ID [protected]) on 19/10/2018 after my cancellation request dated 1/10/2108. However as of date (November 15) I have not learnt how and where to surrender the set top box and digicard and collect my refund cheque for Rs 4112.72.

      A brief recap of my interactions with you:
      1. Your e-mail of October 18 with service request number 18CM2DPQ in response to my e-mail to Nodal Officer dated October 16 2018. This was your first response to me.
      2. Your e-mail below with Service Request Number 18XDPY2U dated 12/11/18.
      3. Phone complaint to Nivetha at Office of Nodal Officer on 12/11/18.
      4. New service number (18Y4CGUG) in auto-response from your end on 14/11/18.

      So far nothing of any help has come from your end and I am still awaiting the refund.

      I am forwarding this e-mail copy to the Customer Care website.

        Im Mohammad Javeed i wanted a new connection and i have booked through online and this is my booking transaction id:DT[protected].
        This connection is getting delayed.The technician of your company calls me for the delivery of setup box when ever says our residential address he/she used refuses.If we ask then they use to say about local issues or our locality.
        6 months back there was a problem in our locality that the other operator comes to install their servies in our area the area local cable operator used to beat and torture those and they used to warn the other operatora like TATASKY, AIRTEL, DISH TV etc..Daily i get 6 times confirmation call, they use to say we will talk to your locality technician and the technician will call you after that the technician refuses to come to our locality for the installation.
        Now everything has been resolved now there is no local issues in our locality.
        so please kindly look into this resolve our problem...

          new connection cancellation refund

          Bought a 4k hd new connection online by paying rs 6000. Within two days a dealer calls to cancel and book a new connection as this product doesn't exist. I made several calls to cancel and process and my refund. Untrained parrots at call centre never helped me and continued to loop be around. It's sickening how this company operates. Need my money back. It's almost more than six weeks....

          Hi, that's not how it should have been. Remove the card and wipe it with a soft dry cloth, insert it back(The Tata Sky logo should be upward and the arrow pointing towards the Set-top box) and let us know the status.

                I am tata sky customer from past 10 years. Regd no is [protected]. From past two months am unable to view any of hd channels. I have been paying the full subscription amount regularly.
                On contacting the help line number one mr. Anthony attended my case. On demanding viewing of hd channels he mentioned that there is a tussle between sony and tata sky. Therefore they are unable to give any service commitment. I requested refund or extension of my subscription paid as am unable to view any hd channels.
                Mr. Anthony is now avoiding my calls and no resolution is being accorded. Am loosing confidence with such a entertainment company of high repute. Pls help...

                  I had installed TATA SKY SD on Aug'18. For one month i had availed all channels as complimentary /Introduction month. when I changed my package to my requirement, they started blocking main channels showing the card your set top box is not receiving signals. I am not receiving main channels like Sun network,
                  Vijay network, English News channels, Few Tamil News channels. Only Raj Network and few Tamil Channels I can able to view.
                  I am not able to lodge complaint over phone, Customer care number is always getting disconnected after one two rings.

                  Very worst service I am receiving from TATA Sky.

                  Only one night it worked. The problem still persists. Not able to connect ur customer care number. Worst Worst Service ever. I want to disconnect your service and will go for other service provider if not solved within two days.

                    Tatasky subscriber id : [protected]. Since last two months tatasky connection is showing pairing error (nds and digicard) (14). Tried speaking to customer care and they have no clue why this problem has occured. All their reply is to send technician home. The address they have in database is quite different from what I have filled in registration and given in KYC. First they want to do address correction process and post which they will send technician. I am not available during day time and they expect me to be at home. Pretty disgusting. Why cant they resolve such errors remotely and why cant they educate customer care guys.

                        Sir, i am having tatasky dth box since 9 years. Right from the beginning the tatasky collected money for not channels not watched. Now they stopped espn channel without informing the consumer and simply taking money form the subscribers. When i asked about the channel they said we are sorting out the matter. But till date they have done noting in that matter since two months.

                        Already tatadocomo cheated the people in 3g like that they started cheating the people in tatasky. I think this is big scam of money fraud. Because they are paying anything to espn but collecting more money from people. I think all related department is sleeping.

Commercial negotiations with broadcasters broke down because what they were seeking would have forced us to hike our prices.                             My id is [protected]. I reacharged my i'd for 02 tv sets on 13 mar 18 for 01 year @ 8100. The same was done after due consultation with your rep and informed to helpline subsequently. Now on 03 nov 18 my 01 tv is not working and i m being informed that balance is insufficient. Though i recharged for 01 year for both tvs. It is being informed that my second tv was not included in the pack. This is being done due to lack of service at your end. Please rectify the fault at your end or refund my whole money. Please do the needful to avoid legal hindrances. Thanks

                            I did't use the service for 1month, than I had recharged on 1st Nov, connection was working fine, from today morning there is no connection..i'm getting Pairing error(this is wrong card for this set of box) message...

                              Today, i had problems operating with tata sky. My setup box isn’t functioning and i could switch on the set up box. It is a technical issue which the company brand, tata sky should take care about and fix it. However, the setup box was provided by the tatasky company. Though the setup box was provided by tata sky, why would tatasky charge customers for the technical issues caused by the setup box. It is ridiculous and even when i contacted customer care, they were telling that the problem is not ours, it is from your side so you will be charged. I don’t understand the logic behind this.

                              I have turned on my Tata Sky after 2-3 months andnow it is showing the error as this is the wrong card for the set top box. My Suscriber ID is [protected].

                              Hi! Help is here! Remove the card and wipe it with a soft dry cloth, insert it back(The Tata Sky logo should be upward and the arrow pointing towards the Set-top box) and let us know the status.

                                I am asking for reinstallation for the paat ten days but am not getting the service, simply customer care executives are giving phones calls twice a day and giving false promises that your work will be done done today but ther are not executing what they will assure over phone...

                                  Pl be noted that one new Tata Sky connection has been taken on 08.11.2018 in tha name of "SUPRIYA DUTTA" but unfortunately due to some unknown reasons the name of the account holder is shown as "SUPRIYA MAJHI".

                                  Calls have been made from the RMN ([protected]) to the help-desk but no corrections have been made yet.

                                  Requires a solution please.

                                    Pathetic response from cc executive tanu on my issue regarding dropping of sony max hd and sony rox hd from my pack on a call dated 11-nov-18. When there hasn't been any reduction in the pack charges since the time these channels were provided, then it is not ethical on part of tata group to charge the same amount for pack and cite "failure of commercial negotiation" as the reason behind not including these channels now. When other dth operators can provide this, why can't tata sky? Has tata group company decided to dupe it's customers??

                                    I completely agree. Tatasky is unethical. I toosubscribed because of sony channels as per their package. They should extend suscription period.

                                      Didn't use the service for 3months. Then i recharged today but it is not working.
                                      On the tv, there is just a black screen with a message : "this is the wrong card for this set top box (Pairing error). Nds no.[protected] digicard id[protected]"
