I am facing lot of issues related to signal for over a year due to which i purchased the high power receiver last year, however problem again started coming after some time.
While understanding the root cause of the problem, i was stunned to find the fraud and mal-practices adopted by tata sky technicians. Following are the points i want to submit:
1. I moved into my current residential building on 2015 and purchased a new dish for my own personal use.
2. I stay on first floor of the building of 13 floors and hence signal was just sufficient for me.
3. Around two years later i started getting issues of signal and hence i had to purchase high power receiver on the advice of the tata sky technician.
4. Now again, i see issues of picture freeze due to low signal in many channels for which i registered a service request 189mgjvf on 12-oct-18.
5. Technician visited to resolve the problem but could not do anything about it as there are three more connections added to my dish after splitting the cable from my dish.
6. Tata sky technician refused to comment about the same and failed to acknowledge that disk belongs to me.
7. The solution suggested is to use 'line amplifier' with the cost which will be borne by me.
In this regard, i have following questions for tata sky:
1. How other connections can be connected to the dish which is purchased by me, without my permission?
2. Why tata sky technician refused to remove the other connections from my disk?
3. Why tata sky technician refused to acknowledge that the disk belongs to me?
4. Why i had to pay for high power receiver for solving my signal problem, which problem is created by tata sky by splitting the cable and further distributing the signal?
5. Now why i am suggested to buy the line amlifier where as the solution is to remove the splits and the connection given to other subscribers from mys dish?
6. What happened to the dishes of the other 3 tata sky subscribers who might have paid for the same? Where are their disks?
7. What if i move to other building, taking my own disk, for which i have paid?
Now i have following points to state:
1. I am the legal owner the dish and the high power receiver for which i have paid. This can be checked in tata sky records. Hence all other connections tagged to my dish should be removed without any delay.
2. This is the shortcut, malpractice or fraud where services of legitimate owner are disrupted by stealing the signal by illegal means, without the knowledge of the owner.
3. Action should be taken against the technician responsible for this action, for this illegal conduct.
4. My problem be addressed at the earliest without charging anything from me as the problem is created by tata sky and its technicians leading to the deficiency of the services.
5. Technicians should be trained to handle such problems objectively and politely. They should not be making rude remarks like "tell your problem to ratan tata, i cannot do anything about it.".
Company is not willing to take any action against the situation and i am suffering due to all this mess.
Tata Sky customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
