unwanted software update

All the channels were working fine until they stopped coming, instead, this message coming on tv saying "software update", and the update is stuck at 0%. The update never starts. The channels don't come. And the tata sky technician who came to repair says that he can temporarily fix the problem, for 2-3 months, but the problem will come again. He says the only permanent solution is to change the cable to "super lnb" cable, which will cost...

My subscriber id is [protected]. I am unable to view sony channels for the past few weeks. It says to dial a particular number or send sms in all the sony channels. I have to everytime do it and sometimes even after giving a call, i have to re-do it after few days... This is very frustrating and annoying. I am your regular customer for the past so many years and have taken yearly packs with additional secondary set top box. For the secondary box i have to give separate calls for activating the same channel... How is it possible to everytime give calls for so many sony channels. You should give the option for activating all the channels at one call. And when i am paying full amount for the channels, why do i need to give separate calls again and again. And sometimes even after giving calls and sending sms the channel doesnt get activated. As for example i have been trying to activate sony ten3 and sony siz for the past few days to watch the india-australis series but the channels have not been activated even till today. I missed the whole t2- series. I have been giving call from 23.11.18 and i received confirmation sms also but the channels have not been activated.

I am very frustrated and would like to exit your services and switch over to some other service provider if you continue like this.

Same problem my friends are also facing.

I am Umesh live in valsad gujrat in sunny area. But for last one month there is no signal. No proper response from customer care. Tata sky services are highly deteriorated. What shall i do. Shall i switch to other DTH or cable. tatasky is now not bearable. Also many sony channel are not shown.

    I am a regular customer of tata sky and my id no. Is [protected]. Recharge of rs. 3175/00 has been done on 27.10.2018 fur ultra pack, which was suggested by your executive. I went on leave from 7.10.18 to 17.10.18 and my connection was suspended during this period on my demand. I was promised that my ultra pack would be active after resumption of services. Not done. Now they are demanding more money to activate my desired pack. I feel cheated by you and demand immediate activation of the said pack. You can pull out the recording of our conversation from 27th october onwards. Fine, if you can’t do this i demand the refund of my remaining amount immediately. This is complete nonsense and not tolerable at any cost.in fact many options are available in market at a cheaper rate. Thus, requiring the activation of my pack or refund the amount at earliest. Anticipating a prompt response by your team. Reds.

    The account was not active for a few months and today when i recharged, it showed the error message "This is the wrong card for this set top box (Pairing error) . Please resolve the error as soon as possible .

    Hi, that's not how it should have been. We have raised a service request to sort this and you'll hear from us at the earliest.
    The Company has modified its website in such a way that customers can only add channels or packs. Unsubscribing option has been removed. This is highly objectionable. It is extremely difficult to contact any representative of the Company by telephone.

    We had put a 6 month package for Rs.2800 consisting of kids and south indian channels, but services got cut in 1 month. The operator who installed the device has asked us to contact Tata sky . Kindly rectify the mistake.

      Very unprofessional staff. I am facing a network issue. Only hd chanels are working rest standard are not working. So i called customer service. They are saying we can't go and check what is going on with satellite. We will send our technical staff they will check the problem and you will be charged.. But my question is if the problem is with your network then why customers should be charged.

      I am thinking to disconnect the tata sky services and choose other networks.

        I am using tata sky from last 7 years. I have been taking annual packing. Evan last time also taken annual package.. But they consider it to semi annual with out intimation.
        Tata sky will behind for recharge (Money) but after that no care. I never expected pathetic service from tata sky.
        I will never recommend to any of our friends or relative.
        I am also discontinuing this service and taking airtel.

          Hi my name is vishwanath from bangalore and i am having tatasky dth from 1 year. i m paying 199rs per month for 1 regional pack and 5 nos HD channels as per them for Make my HD pack they have to provide 5 nos of HD channels which should be in base pack. But when I asked them to add Z Kannada HD to My HD pack they are asking me to pay extra. I have z Kannada in my base pack. But for HD they are refusing. This is additional rule by them. Pls take necessary action on them.

              Two days back i ahd recharged for 25/- to watch india australia cricket match

              In sony six, so for that i tried to call all the helpline nos but non of them got

              Connected, but after recharge no body from customer care consulted me abt

              Whether to activate all the channels which i had activated or the present

              Recquired. It feels very bad that without consulting why they actvtd all the

              Channels, since when i tried ytd to see the match i cld nt, so it feels you are

              Making me to go for other option then i hv to plan for local opeartor. So i will

              Not recharge further my base packs after april 2019. If the issue is solved

              Then i will plan to continue.

                  I have upgraded normal to hd set top on 19.11.2018 and paid rs. 899/- but till today and not yet installed .

                  On thing is my account is active without installing hd settop box and charges are deducting daily. Is possible

                  i have called at toll free no 8 to 10 times but from 19.11.2018 to 23.11.2018 tata sky giving only assurance.

                    My complaint for bad connection and not coming many of challans which are there in my pack was not attended even after 36 hrs. Tata sky technician are not flexible to the timing and there seems to lack of professional behaviour.

                    I am paying approx rs 1104 for two boxes with hd quality.

                    With this kind of service i will be withdrawing services of tata sky and will go with other dish tv operator.

                      I took connection of tata sky in first week of oct 2018 and paid connection charges of rs 2000/- to vendor (Mr lalit soni) of allahabad. I was provided with a stb and was told that the amount is inclusive of one month subscription. I got message in last week of oct to recharge it. I paid 220/- recharge amount for 30 days wef 1.11.2018. To my dismay the connection is deactivated on 22nd of nov, 18.
                      I contacted to customer care, the responding official said that rs 95/- has been deducted for hdd charges.

                      My issue is that when i have not requested for hdd and at the time of recharge, not opted/ paid for hdd charges how and why tata sky has given me this. How tata sky can deduct rs 95/- from my recharge subscription amount (I. E. Rs 220/- for 30 days) and deactivate the connection before 30 days.
                      This is kind of cheating by a corporate.
                      You are, therfore, requested to restore the facility immediately for 30 days failing which the matter will be escalated to trai and may also lodge complaint to consumer forum, allahabad.

                        R/sir,
                        I have recharged above tata sky annual dhamaka pack, hd access, and nick channel on 04/05/2018. But my hd and nick channel not working from 21.11.18 @ 08:30hrs. Before stop channel my tv screen massage display please recharge before 20.11.18 for regular use to channel.
                        My recharge package validity upto 03/05/2019. Customer care not solve my problem whenever called to representative. Please provide next guidelines.

                          Tata sky dth executives sold the 1 year subscription plan @rs.1500 to my dad and clear mentioned that no other service charge or any extra charges will be needed and a certain number of channels incl. Non hd regional channels will be provided.
                          The connection was taken on 30/07/2018. But by nov. 18 more than 70 % of the promised channels have been taken off from the subscription and are now being shown as paid channel and will be available only against separate monthly subscription charge. This is clearly a breach on the service agreement and amounts to fraud. Complaint to the customer care has not yielded any result. And on requesting to disconnect and refund the remaining amount we are being told than approx. 480 rs. Will be refunded while the subscription was not even used for 6 months. Need resolution. Either proper amount should be refunded back or the original service agreement needs to back in place.

Due to mistake by tata sky people, my name is registered as musaemask musaemask. I requested several times to correct my name. Today idid an email to [protected]@tatasky.com with attached self attested scanned copy of my aadhar card with lates address. For which i got a reply to pay rs 150 for generation of new user id.

                              Even if I have paid advance for 6 months for Platinum pack which include all channels yet many of Sony channels are not been telecast by Tata sky.I have requested them to start Sony ESPN as T10 cricket is starting but they are not listening.They should refund our money or show all channels. This is pure cheating .

                                I had referred the following customer id:[protected] through your referral program and personally help the person during the online registration process however tata sky support team has denied my referral benefit.

                                When raised the same as complaint with the customer support the accepted it as a complaint (Complaint number 192tinmf) but later called and claimed that the above mentioned customer id was acquired through their dealer network and not through my referral. However, the above mentioned customer has received a message about my referral, have enclosed the same.

                                I am not writing this mail because i have been refused a pity referral bonus but you have hurt sentiment of brand loyalist and a person who has been a continuous referrer of the tata sky brand even before your referral scheme. Try not to damage your reputation in the future.

                                  I recharged after a long time but to my utter shock, first of all, the amount I recharged for was not provided but was in fact less. Even after that, I'm receiving a pairing error saying the card is not paired with the correct box and therefore, I am unable to view any channels. I've mailed, tried the chat option, tried calling them but the customer care number isn't working for me somehow. Maybe I have been blocked. I want my money back because I am not able to watch anything.

                                    I have Tata sky connection I’d no [protected]. I am not getting all channels and more over in many channels it shows Tata sky is not getting signal due to rain but there is no rain here or in delhi today ie 21/11/18 a few days I contacted there customer care also but no response.

                                    I am fed up with their service . I am stuck up with them as I have recharged for 6 months
