My id no [protected] isn’t working since 28th sept’17. I’ve been calling the Cust care since then and it’s only been assurances till date and no action. Very pathetic service from tatasky and I’m looking forward to disconnect it soon.

    I am a tata sky customer, subscription id: [protected] at delhi, india.
    I am facing problem regarding the set top box and picture quality since 15th sep 2017. I have filed many complaints (Telecom customer care/ online/ emails). On 23/09/2017 my hd set top box was replaced and i have been charged rs 400+rs 225. This new set top box is not functioning properly. The sd channels are clear but in hd channels due to high distortion picture are not clear. I complaint several times, technician visits but they do nothing. One technician misbehaves also. Every time i enquire about this with tata sky customer care, i get a new resolution date about the issue. Moreover your service engineer behaves very rudely and arrogantly with me like they don’t need any customer even if they lose. Saying “jo karna hai kar lo”” is this a way to represent your service to your customer who don’t have any fault??. They say without paying rs 400/ we will not replace set top box. Only seven days before it was replaced that too with faulty. I have been told warranty period of one year.
    I have discovered that tata sky is not at all serious to resolve customer complaints.
    Since, the device as well as connection has failed to serve the purpose, i want to get my balance amount back, after surrendering the device and connection to the company.

      My tatasky subscriber id : [protected].
      At faridabad:-
      On a defective signal they had changed my old tatasky set top box (Old but was in running condition) on 07/07/2017- stating that the new box carries the guarantee; tata sky charged me the visiting fee & the cost of the new box in replacement; then after a few days there was “ no signal ” problem with the newly replaced box and i raised a complaint on 29.09.2017 & they are asking me to pay again the visiting charges. When contested about the new box under warranting, they have refused to diagnose without the visiting charges.
      Fed up with the recurring poor performance by them i had sought refund of the ‘paid subscription, thereby doing away with them; then on 30.09.2017, a call came from a gentle lady-repeating the demand of visiting charges;
      Now the question arises as to why & how long will the loot the customer by frequently visiting to repair their bad product with a manufacturing defect?
      Being an engineer, i can make out, whether the fault is on the product & servicing;
      Therefore, through this potent forum, i do request to get me the refund of the paid amount due up to nov 2017 & circulate to general public to be aware of very poor ‘after sales service with poor products marketed by them;

      Between the Time of speaking to them -First Time on 29.09.2017 and till yesterday there has had been at least 05 calls from different numbers from Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore- repeatedly asking me the details of the nature of the complaint [As stated in my complaint to you too] & pressurizing me to accept visiting &/ or charges of the change of Set –Box, if required, which I have been contesting that, rather respectfully;
      Then-there was a call from Mumbai No. [By a learned lady], asking me to withdraw my request for Cancellation of the Connection, offering -if visited & repaired- to which I had agreed & submitted:
      “that `It's not easy for a Normal Customer to seek cancellation, thereby wasting the existing Set-up-box & then pay for new connection by a different Service Provider”, besides risking my BALANCE with them;
      But this was short lived since another gentleman called me [After about 12 hours of the above stated talking by the Gentle Lady] & that pretending not to count that talk and to `seek the same old style of asking about the complaint [Asking me to repeat my Complaint and seek Charges]- I did ask him, if they had NO Track of conversation by at least FIVE persons fr M/S Tata Sky- to which he showed- Ignorance;
      After having come to Know their poor tracking, the Lack of Cohesion among their own people within M/S Tata Sky & that for their unwillingness to look in to my genuine complaint & that for the non- effectiveness of writing to your forum too-PAID to a Technician of another SOURCE to get the job- done;
      But by the above stated has exposed their weakness & unwillingness to cater to their Customers, besides seeking details of Complaint by different Persons-possibly an attempt to `Feed words in mouth';
      They must improve to talk -to improve their attitude &/ or to give Free or charge a Token fee of Max Rs.50/ of Service Fee. Knowing their poor tracking & the Lack of Cohesion among their own people within M/S Tata Sky & that for their unwillingness to look in to my genuine complaint, I PAID to a Local Technician of another SOURCE;

      But by the above stated has exposed their weakness & unwillingness to cater to their Customers, besides seeking details of Complaint by different Persons was possibly an attempt to `Feed words in my mouth';

      They must improve to talk and to improve their attitude &/ or to give Free or charge a Token fee of Max Rs.50/.

        I was received the call tata sky customer care office for recharge offer one year dhaml mix package which is existing with my tata sky dth which is offer me amounted to rs1940/- one year validity. So i am recharge it today but on mobile message received form tata sky the validity is 26th march 2018.

          I made a complaint of signal on 26th august 2017, the technician visited the problem was solved on that day. After a week again the problem occured i called once again the helpline number of tata sky. I reminded them about last service and asked them to make technician visit once again they denied by saying that its not required we will help you to reset the settings. Again the problem was resolved. Now some of the channels are not loading because of poor signal strength. I once again called on 30 september, 2017 they told it would take charges for the same. I told them with the history, they denied that i have not called upon the customer care and no one has made me reset my tatasky set top bax setting. They do not have record so now they are asking once again for charges.
          They even cut my call in between. I made a call for complain and they do not have record so told me its my fault but i am surprised who the hell made me reset my tata sky box on that day. I called your help line only. Totally unhappy with this. Customer is god. Now you dont value them and you will suffer.

            My subscriber i'd is [protected].
            I had done a recharge of rs 10, 000 on 28 th sept 2017, rs 7200 towards primary connection and rs 2700 towards secondary connection for the mega annual sd pack.
            Today i recd a message from tata sky mentioning mega sd pack dropped and i will be charged rs 425 monthly and that i need to recharge my secondary connection on 10th april 2017.
            This is absolutely not done as i had recharged taking into account that both the primary and the secondary connections are being recharged for 12 months.

            Tata sky keeps advertising that you only pay rs 250 per month for the secondary connection which in this case is not being honoured.

            I called tata sky twice today and the first gentleman tried to connect me the floor manager but after waiting for 5min the call just got dis connected.
            On calling the second time i get. To understand from the cs staff that he can see i have recharges for 9000 and when j can see that my recharge is for rs 10, 000 on my to screen. He was also unable to connect me to the senior floor manger.

            This total mental harassment and worst kind customer service apart mis representation of facts.

              I had raised a complaint recently stating my tata sky set-top box is not working. Services team attended to my request immediately. However, later it was found that the problem was not just with my set-top box; entire apartment is facing the same problem & this common problem was fixed from a tatasky common dish connection.

              I was informed that i should bare the service charge from my end. This is a common problem and should be treated that way. I am very disappointed with the way the service charges are pinned on people. Requesting you to take a fair play here and refund the service charge.

                I have been harassed for about a year reason is whenever i call or mess for any service i have been told i got multiple subscription, for this i kept calling customer service and clarified them that i have only subscription [protected], and pls removed all other from my number but got only faked promises and my problem remain as it is, yesterday day when i called to add sports1 channel they did added but after sometime when i check some other channel the message come i don't have base packed it has been removed, and thereafter i called at least 10 times but i got reply that won't able to active the channel, is this the service u provide to your customer, stop cheating and harrasing customer and don't take your customer for granted, it is very sad that we indian tolerate this nonsense, if it was out of india tata sky would have tasted its own medicine anyway this sub standard tata sky would never get chance to be in international market with their non sense service,,, throwing away tata sky from my house forever and will try to spread my experience among my group

                    Today i have recharge rs.290 around 17:29 hours and requested to your person to change my plan to south sports bonanza for one month for trial if it is ok for me i will go for annual subscription. By that time your person activate hd channel.
                    please check the call recording.

                      I took my package for 250. I was never informed it will increase every 6 month when i took the package. When i called to inform. I got disconnected 4 times but never got a call back. Spoke to two different manages, they never had a courtesy to call back but they said if the call gets disconnected "we do call you back". Pathetic customer service. I wasted my 2 hours speaking to them, every time the call gets disconnected i had to call them back again as i never got a call back as they promised. I have been missed sold will less information while purchasing. When i tried to complain when got a call back when the line got disconnected by them so i have been given false promise by tata sky. I need compensation on everything.

                          When i was called to tata sky customer care regarding remove dd national channel during india vs, australia cricket match sept 17 but nobody have given proper justification only said please talk to my senior and call transfer to senior when i talked to senior also they have no answer and initiated the complaint but no response and proper justification only said (As per the order of the honorable supreme court of india, cricket telecast is not available on “dd national”. You can watch the live telecast on channel no 455 or 460.) and recharge of rs 60 per month.

                          Tata sky want to earn money only because if they have approx 50000000 user * 60 = [protected]/- per month.

                          Cable operators and dish tv are telecasting the same through dd national so why not tatasky.

                          (Dd national is national channel no one has right to block it)

                          I am going to cut the connection and will use the cable connection.

                          Very bad service please avoid the tata sky.

                            Other dth & cable provider showing cricket match on dd national tv but tata sky block cricket match on that day showing a message that due to supreme court order cricket match not telecast on that day. As a tata sky consumer i am not able to see the cricket match on national tv. How can tata sky block the dd national tv. I am complain to tata sky customer care but not reply me satisfactory. I want to complain how can tata sky stop national tv.

                            Tata sky stopped the telecasting of dd national today 17/09/17 during India vs Australia. And showing it is following supreme Court orders.Is there is any such order made by the supreme Court? Please resolve issue

                              Your customer service personnel reek arrogance when they talk, I don't understand how Tata sky can not be accountable for its registered dealers I didn't ever raise my voice but that lady givea out so much attitude this is not the right track for Tata sky and I will never recommend them to anyone .

                                During cricket Tatasky is stopping Doordarshan transmission.
                                We are not able to watch Doordarshan during cricket match.
                                There is a display on Tatasky showing some supreme court order has asked to stop transmission.
                                What is the supreme court order.
                                Tata sky is forcing to purchase sports package.

                                  Inspite of my earlier complaint and your reply that some one will contact me, no body has yet contacted me. I am getting message on screena ala carte rs. 10 add 514 and then tv either stop enshowing images or creates lot of disturbance and after some time automatically starts after few minutes again same trouble starts. But when advertisement on screen it shows without any disturbance. Again when serial starts same trouble commences. This shows there is no problem with the set up box or its connections. Such type of trouble is since last three months. Last month
                                  I had complaint. It automatically started working without attending by any person two days before the recharge date. Again this trouble has started after trouble free performance of about 12 days. It clearly shows there is some mischief as same type of message has started appearing on the screen and then disturbance when serial is exhibited but no trouble when there is advertisemen on the screen. Pl. Treat this as notice from my side and avoid this type of menace failing which i shall be compelled to file complaint with ombudsman or consumer court for redressal of harrassment caused because of the facts stated above resulting in mental torture as i am very regular i making your payment in time.                                     I am your customer since 2007 vide customer no. [protected]and presently the company has been categorized as premium customer.
                                    Since last 15-20 days i am facing a serious problem. Owing to this the set top box is showing that "due to bad weather" signals are not receving or many time there are several channel are not there. It may be noted that this problem with the set-top box having recording facility where as in the other box there is no such problem.
                                    In this regard i have made 4 complaints, but till today there is solutions. It appears that the technicians have not detected the exact reasons. Finally today the technician visited has stated that it is due to the three joints in the service cable and it is required to be canged and for this i have to pay.
                                    I want to submit that as there is no fault on my part why i am required to pay because at the time of installation i have paid the charges for the instalation cable, therefore if the authorised person is made any fault or did bad work then i should not be penalized for the same.

                                      From 1 February as per Trai new rules, Tata sky now taking a charges of Rs. 153/- for Free channels which includes DD national, dd sports but still they not showing cricket matches.. That means users paid the channel charges but still cable operator not showing channel they forced user to starts stars sports / ten sports package thats a not a good thing

                                        We have subscribe tata sky channel anrd the channel is not showing dd national when any match of indian cricket team were played.
                                        The channel are being display that "as per order of supreme court dd national channel are being stop".
                                        The other day dd national channel are being display by tata sky.
                                        It seems to that tata sky channel is force to subscriber to subscribe sports channel where as dd national are free in all the tv service provider.
