We have been tata sky customer for over last 7 year... Life was really zingalala for few years after this connection. However, over the last 2 years we have been regularly facing issue with the service/signal and on repeated complaints we get different responses..

Since last 10 days, we were having 'no signal' issue, however, some of the channels can be viewed, day by day the number of channels available go on reducing, most of the dd channels were still available, but from 19-july-17 all the channels went off. On approaching customer service, after great difficulties, we got standard response, you need to pay rs.225/- then technician will come & check the problem

Last complaint date 31-july-17 = closed on 1-aug-17 (Some part of dish was changed) rs. 375/-

In february-17, set-top box was changed as there was similar issue repeatedly in jan/feb & their technician visited but could not resolve the issue. They changed cable, once the technician changed the set top box connector, one technician informed that there was no problem & connector was fine the issue was only with cable force to the wall...
Since we changed over to hd-set top box we are facing problem for past two years... However, every time we were charged "as per company policy"..

Interestingly, the issue every time is similar, the connection is not completely gone off, if the solution provided every time is different the problem should have been different. We are able to watch few channels even after many channels gone-off.. Finally all channels go off

Till now we were thinking the issue is faced by us only and could be one off.
However, on checking with some acquaintances we found same issue is faced by them as well & they have also be charged every now & then with such issues. Now it is clearly evident that tata sky has started this 'side business' to increase their revenue to stay in competition, but at the cost of customers.
The customer service helpline is the worst experience one can ever have.
Spending crores on hiring brand ambassador's to endorse product but they are not at all bothered about customers or their services..

This is clearly in contrast of the brand image of tata's, i think they are misusing name of tata's who are known to be ethical & customer-centric business practices

I recharged my tatasky id with rs 500 but extra rs 1000 was deducted from my bank account with out any balance being credited on my subscriber id [protected]. It has been the third day the balance is yet not re-funded to my bank account although the transaction was failed. It was 20/09/2017. I am so much disappointed with the service of tatasky that i will cancel their service and order some other dth service from elsewhere who don't cause customer dissatisfaction.

It is very same to tata sky, they are getting blocked dd national channel during the india international cricket oneday matches for telecast, whereas other vendors like videocon, airtel and etc they are telecasting matches on dd national. Tata sky is not providing any valid reason to me that why dd national is blocked by supreme court, i talked with customer care executive "vipul" call center from gujarat, he was saying that tata sky customers can not see any live telecasting on dd national channel, please give me any solution for that so that we can see the upcoming matches on dd national channel.

We paid rs 3098/-for two cable connections to tatasky on 14 th sept 2017. On 14th evening a technician mr abhay shana came from tatasky and insisted that we should take connection from him. On our refusal he disconnected the cable very next day. Despite several complaints on helpline, website, twitter the company has neither restored the connection nor refunded the money. Its almost 10 days now.

I have taken tata sky dish connection in my hometown dewas madhya pradesh. Its registered with kiran maheta and vijay maheta name and no is [protected]. We are facing very much issues in the connection since past 5-6 months. We have taken yearly plan but now whenever we call on helpline for issues we are asked for 250 as charges and also mechanic didnt give any proper solution. This is really ridiculous as in past months twice or thrice it had issues. If this goes on whats the point in taking yearly subscription if we have to pay this amount monthly for service that too not proper. We wont be able to recommend this to anyone after having such experience. Request you to help out soon. Please contact on [protected] or [protected].

My subscription id is [protected]. I called up the tatasky help line on 17th sept early morning. I was told that since i was a premium customer i would get a call in 2 hrs. I got a call the next day when i was in office. The caller was thebtechjicianbi guess who lied and misbehaved. His owner called later in the evening and told me that my issue was resolved, which was untrue as no one had even visited us. Since this was hiw they behaved, i asked them not yo visit my house till i have spoken to someone. Since then i have been trying to request for some senior official to speak to through the help line as well as social media but all in vain. I am not able to use tatasky since 7 days despite having paid them annual subscription for 2 connections in advance.

I am having issues with your service very two months. Customer care have pathetic answers for my question. No help done till now. I got signal problem now and then twice had technician at place still not fixed everytime why to have a technician when your company had bad signal problem.

Twice the technician came to place and gave him his charges now your agent from customer service says they didn't send a technician to my place and they cancelled my request as i was not interested. They didn't even called me when i requested to call me after my office hours.. The agent saurav sharma says we don't call people as per there convince.. And they called me at my office time i didn't picked up so they cancelled my request.. Then how twice i got a technician at my door step and they helped me they were having my number all the time.
You have such a big brand ambassador amitabh bachan.. But it's useless coz don't waste money on him use it in having best signal and good technology.

Last to last month i had called for technician frm tata sky n d boy came also at that tym he changed receiver n told me that i[censored] will directly contact with us u will b charing less money so i said yes but then again the same problem happened so i called him so he send his another guy then again they charged they charged me n now the same problem m facing but the boy is not coming n he is lyk will see that i have to come or not means literally he is saying i will not come.. My meaning is of telling whole story is that the guys from ur said is only came na so i trusted him me toh usseh jaanti nhi thi woh log zabardasti brain wash karke gaye k humlog kam me kar denge humko company se nahi direct bulao toh yeh log natak kar rhe hai na even company ko bhi bewakuf bana rahe hai n public ko bhi upar se rpl dete hai k dekhenge sochenge ana hai k nahi toh paise kyu liye phir... I have their number also which i am giving to you n want to see a legal action has against them... How would i know what u have done of them. Have my complaint taken seriously by u or not? Their names n number... Qurban [protected].. Mulayam molnapur [protected]... Aaj kitne din se mera tv band pada hai bekar k paise bhi liye tym bhi waste n meri refill bhi waste ho rahi hai... Me chahti hu k aap strict action lo coz yeh log kitne logo ko fraud karte hoge aise tatasky k naam se... N mujhe pata chalna chahiye ke aap log ne kya action liya hai.

Tata sky hindi entertainment channels having no signal problem. From last many months i am facing this issue. While other channels are working properly and having no signal issue.
I also try master reset... But still the same problem.
I also called tata sky customer care... And they send a executive to solve this problem, but that person told us to change the cable to improve the signal quality. Why should i change the cable as it is in good condition and other channels are working properly.. That person has no idea how to solve the problem exactly.
I request to tata sky to send experienced executive every time.

Faced serious issue with tata sky customer care & backend team. They mislead customer & asked for extra charges for any equipment.

I purchased tata sky dish tv hd setup box with recording in 2012 (Id [protected]). Even at that times, hd contents was not available), but we preferred to have it for future hd contents.

Compatibility for hd contents & to add multiple tv (In future), hd setup box should have super lnb in dish, but tatasky supplied normal lnb instead of super lnb that time (As a general user/customer, we was not aware of it)

2 weeks ago, i requested tata sky to provide multiple tv setup box connection & within a day, their technician/representative visited for multi tv setup box connection.

After seeing installation of normal lnb at dish, he suggested us. It should be super lnb (Coz in their record, super lnb already mentioned & supplied along with setup box)

Even he suggested to claim it as free of cost.

We tried many times with customer care & backend team, but they mislead or false commitment of replacing normal lnb with super lnb.

Even, i mailed several e - mail at [protected]@tatasky.com, but no satisfactory replay from tata sky.

Finally, they refuse to provide/ replace super lnb with normal & asked for extra charges.

I want to register a complaint against tata sky for mislead/false commitment.

Dear madam/ sir,

We could not view cricket match on tata sky dd national as this channel is in my dhamal mix pack. They instruct to opt for pay channel (455/460) by paying rs. 60/-pm. Why we should we pay for this when we have already paid for dhamal mix hd pack @ rs. 400.00 in this pack we haveing dd national.

Requesting you to take necessary action

DD channel is not telecasting in tatasky DTH during cricket match.they r compelling to buy starsportschannel.other time they r telecasting.otherwise better remove DD channel from the list.its our rights to watching cricket match in DD National Channel.but they r telling supreme court order v r not telecasting

Customer executive is very rude and my recharge is not money deducted but service is not resumed. Recharge number [protected]. Orderno. [protected]. Due to this customer care executive is not polite and rude i lost patience and i lost temper.. Seriously very annoying service and playing with customer emotions and health.. Please requesting to take necessary action against tata sky. This issue was continuously happening every month.. I just can't tolerate. And executive are very rude and unprofessional...

There is a problem regarding tata sky. They want to sell their channel. Dd news is the government channel & no one can stop there telecast. According to me this is an illegal activity. Please take action against tata sky.

I pay tata sky 300 per month for dhamal mix channel pack which includes dd national channe. During cricket match tata sky stop showing dd national channel for which i already paid money. And forces user to subscribe star sports channel.
While blocking dd national during cricket match they shows fraud message that supreme court of india has ordered to not show dd national channel during cricket match.
Please take strictly actions about this fraud.

Dont giving sports channel and for giving charges in a month of rs 60 of 1 channel i want to return its a big worst connection in cable connection... I want to leave this connection pls help me to return and i gave 1800 rs in hand but pls sir help me for that and only four month old connection... Can you help me for that types of reason in my mind i had done a big mistake to take this connection

Tatasky is not showing dd national during cricket match telecast. A message shows on screen "as per the order of supreme court cricket telecast is not available." while other dth provider showing the dd national channel during cricket match. Tatasky is forcing consumer to by their paid sports package.
Please take some action against the tatasky dth provider.

Tata sky is not showing dd national while match is live. While match is not live dd national is showing other pogrammes on tata sky.
While match is live we have getting some notice like as per supreme court cricket telecast is not available on this channal.
Other all dth vendor are showing same channel.
We can not understand that why sc stopped match on tata sky ddnational only?

They've been saying for a while that honourable supreme court has ordered not to telecast cricket on dd national channel which is an improper allegation and an act of contempt. Honourable supreme court has ordered that the airing rights shouldn't be shared with cable services not dth services. I seek an immediate reply to this issue as it is not only an issue of national interest but also a tricky way of making money from consumers.

As we know that dd nation is free for all indian still which rules applied by honorable supreme court of india not allowing to telecast live on tata sky channel provider?

Also now recharge is increase by 10 rs so it is compulsory have to pay for 2 days even if you want to watch 1 day.. Next time it will increase by 50 rs and it will be for one week to watch compulsory.

Other channel providers are not doing like this.in advertisement, broadcast that jab dekhana chaho tab dekh sakte ho. Chahe ek dik kyu na ho... Now minimum recharge is 20 so it is compulsory for 2 days.

This is very same if government gives you permission to tata sky can block dd national when match is broadcasting on dd national.

I am going to oppose this privatization.
