The set box provided by the tatasky is not up to the quality. We have replaced Four boxes within 7 months and we have paid money 600 for setup box and 200 for technicians each time.
We have recharged the 6 months subscription for all native language + kids(1800) and we are able to see only half of the channel list.Every time when we call for technician help they are charging 200/- extra.
Is this the right procedure that they are following.
Govt is forcing us to use setup box. But we are facing these type of issues due to low quality setup box from tatasky.

    Sir/Madam,

    I have recharged my account for Rs.50 but was unable to watch any channel as it showed I need to recharge my account. I tried to connect with Tata Sky customer​ care number[protected] several times but the waiting time (which they claim on phone to be from 1 minute to 4 minutes) to talk to a representative, I had to wait on call for around half an hour and still no one connected. This was really annoying and at last after two days when my call connected, the representative said that he has sorted the technical issue and now my T.V will work but my charges for initial two days were also deducted which is very unfair and he was not ready to accept the fact that they should charge from the day service been provided and he kept on saying that I should have called earlier (which I repeated several times to him that I tried and no one connected) and he kept my call on hold without informing me and never got back. M really feeling like cheated forcefully with no consumer greveince or support at all. Please help me out.

    Also, I get a yearly offer every year to recharge around Rs.[protected] annually. But this time no such offer been given and I have to pay almost double the amount. I asked them and everytime they say I will get a call from their offer department soon. It's been around 8 months now(since Nov, 16) when I am trusting and waiting for their God damn offer or call which they claimed. You may check all the recordings of mine calling them from my another number (apart from registered), that is : +[protected]. Please help.

      I would appreciate if someone can explain how does the billing cycle work. I recharged rs.350 on the 18th of june and my connection was disconnected on the 7th of july 2017. I have recharged today ie:7th july and expiry date 25th jun 2017. With msg, " monthly charge is rs 543. I need an written explain to this complain. If i choose a rs 350 plan, pls enlighten me n tell me how is my charge rs 543 and why is my billing cycle not for a month. I believe we all get our salaries once a month and not every 20 odd days. Terrible! I will never recommend tata sky to anyone. Lousy and very expensive.

        A service request expressing that setup box is not functioning was lodged on helpline no [protected] vide WO#YCT355W on 03/07/2017 at 10.43 am and an SMS was received at 11.01 am saying that Tata sky installer visit is scheduled between 13.20 and 14.30 on same day. This however did not happen. The visit was done on 05/07/2017 but of no avail as engineer Sandeep was not having setup box. Instead of resolving the problem the WO#YCT355W was dropped at 9.38 pm on 05/07/2017 without assigning any reason. Immediately thereafter contacting at your said helpline WO#YEVLMQG was generated when it was assured that it would be attended in 24 hrs, but of no avail. Schedule visit was agagin and again fixed at various times but nobody turned up and problem persisted. All the time prson available ata helpline was without technical knowledge highly unprofessional. This was highly frustrating for a customer. Since this happened again and again resulting into depriving us to view news channels entertainment though charges were deducted. Thus two issues of deficiency in backup and services and illogical deduction of charges are here which needs proper redressal including adequate payment for harassment and mental agony. Please take necessary action immediately failing which legal recourse may be resorted to.Pl keep me updated on my email: [protected]@yahoo.com.

          No one coming to attend the complaint for a month now
          We are not getting the tata sky connection for most of the customers in the society. Loyal customers for more than a decade. but the company seems to be very ignorant.
          3 times they have been informed but bno one is sending any person to fix this. why do we have the customer care numbers, its all in vain. If someone cannot come and have it fixed, be clear, we can have it changed. Even after so many follwoups no one attended for the last 1 month now. Lodha heaven, dombivli east

            Sir my self Chayan jana my tata sky vc no [protected]..purchased on[protected] the copy of bill also enclosed for your ref. .Sir Last one months I am facing several problems. ..its only six month old and the tatasky representative has come and change the set top box but after next day the box not working. ..last 4 times in a month (june) I'm facing same problems ..I'm really helpless what to do..even I request to customer care also that plz give me new box atleast but no response. Last 3 days I'm facing same problem but the tatasky sky centre [protected] they are not supporting me. Now what should I do...3 days before I just recharge my tatasky but box not working. .the tatasky representative Mr. ASHUTOSH [protected] he also not picking my phone. .Sir I request you to please do action against this.

              I had recharged for 1 year pack of RS-1400 bugs. I requested for Re-location installation on May 20th 2017, CC people said with in two days I get call from service, no one called me till date.
              I called almost more than 20 times, then after CC people reply saying local cable issue in this area, we are not providing any service.
              So they suggested for refund money with in 4 days for that I need to do request for cancelling the TATA SKY Account. So I requested the same day they did cancelled the account very quickly.
              More than a week over not received any call or money till day. Again I call to CC I asked the refund amount they replying, there is no refund option so we can't refund the money, then I told fine at least activate the 1 year pack which I had before but they not done yet.
              After I called more times CC everyone telling activate 1 year pack and refund money. Then on wards not suggesting any one this cheating service...
              My hard earning money this TATA SKY cheated me and done very baaaaaad service to me.

                Hi,
                I had opted annual subscription in the month of February at the rate of 4921 . This was include the annual subscription of dhammal mix for 12 months(11months +1 month free offer).
                with this I had been offered HD annual subscription with a discount of 1000 rs.
                therefore I paid rs 4921.

                On 5th July 2017, they disconnected my HD services. When I contacted to customer care helpline, They informed me that my HD subscription was going on monthly basis @Rs 175.

                My question is when I already got the offer with discount of Rs 1000 and paid 4921 against the Annual package of Dhamaal mix and HD services, how can you put the HD services on monthly basis.

                Customer care executive told me that it was my duty to call back them and get registered the offer.
                Then why did they not informed to do that at the time of subscription .

                Kindly restart my HD services immediately or return back my money .
                I am not interested to continue such kind of service provider.

                  Recently just six months back tata sky company representative replaced my setup box and charge me 600 INR. Also he did not keep old one with me. After six month out of which almost 1 and half month we were not at home. Now four days back again my setup box was not working so my wife called customer care number and explain them the total situation in a just six month it is not expected to replace set up box again again so they should not charge for this. when the technician came and again my wife explain the situation to him then he made my wife to talk his superior. The person told it will not be deducted from your account it will for no cost. After two days as this set box was with new additional button which was not know to my wife so she again called customer care they sent the person and he just inform about this button for this also tata sky people charging 200 rs. When my wife called customer care nobody is properly responding.

                    I am using tata sky last 4year, its very good services provider, but i am facing problem since last 10 days call customer care sharing problem, my problem is i m not able to watch my tv set top box show its cloudy, its rainy, so they reply its technical issue our service person will come at home then will check out the problem but i am saying when i m not able to watch my tv since 10-12days so why i will pay for that its tata sky technical issue so you should resolve or if you are not able to resolve pls tell me the process how i discontinue the connection its so irritating for me to manage.

                      Every time I switch on the tv it says due to weather problem. What is this rubbish. how for other providers the services are working fine.

                        Yesterday from around 4 pm onwards i was not able to access Tata sky as because message was coming as due to rains and couldy whether. I was waiting till 9.48 pm and their after lodged complaint. Although lot of false assurances were given by all concerned including service centre help line even senior officials in spite of repeated complaints but no action. My consumer no. Is [protected]. This is at all not acceptable since failure of signal is your problem and then it is also told that rs. 200/- will be charged by you. Why when this problem pertains to u. My mobile no is [protected]. We are fools that since beginning we are loyal customers of Tata sky having multiple connections. In view of the same we are forced to take out services of other doh operators.

                          I have logged a complaint about my missing dish antenna but I havent received a call back from the technician on this. I have alsmost called 5-6 times but no success. No one is even bothered to give me a call.

                            I was registered a complaint for change my standard set-up box to HD set-up on 2nd July . Subscriber I.D is [protected]. I was call on customer care 15-20 times number. Every time executive said with in 2 hrs you received call from our Installer team but no body call. Now today is 4th . 2 days todays are completely waste . nobody reponse. You have comitted to fulfill the request within 24 hours. But I did not get any call/sms from your end and the request still pending.Not happy with the services of Tata Sky.

                            If you are not able to resolve our problem. Just tell me . take your set-up box return back.

                            My customer id is : [protected] . For the last 7-10 days there is no signal on any of the set top boxes for our connectios in jaipur, rajasthan . When we do get some channels, these too are erratic and very disturbing .

                              I would like to inform you that i have requested for re-connection of my tatasky to my new address on[protected]. Still now no technician has turned up to my house for re-connection of my tatasky. Daily i am following up with the representatives of tatasky helpline and i am getting a reply that within two hours some technician would come and reconnect my tatasky. Today i have followed up with the helpline representatives four times and i got the same assurance. But still now no technician has come or contacted me.
                              I am totally frustrated with your poor service and bogus assurance from your representatives.
                              Please help me in getting my tatasky reconnected immediately.
                              Or if it is not possible then the please suggest me how to return my tatasky connection.
                              I do want to know why i am getting punished for opting tatasky service.

                                    Its not customer service they are doing as the customer has to adjust according to them. For the installation process, the technician is not available after 5. What kind of logic is that.in a city like ahmedabad, where office hours are till 7, how is it possible for the customer to sit home for them. Also, there is no assurance as the technician can cancel anytime. At least one technician must work for odd hours who can come after 6 or on sunday.

                                      I am Subscriber to Tata Sky (ID No. [protected]). On 30st May, 2017, I made a payment of Rs. 3, 615/- for three months through (Tata Sky Receipt No.[protected] online and got a message, that next recharge is due in September, 2017

                                      For last few days, I have been getting messages on my TV as well as on Mobile Phone that “Current balance Rs. 74.44, Monthly Charges Rs 675. Next recharge date 04 July, 2017”.

                                      There appears to be an ambiguity in your accounts. Kindly check the same and intimate to the undersigned. In case of wrongful disconnection of Tata Sky, you shall be liable for all the legal consequences.
                                      Take note of it.

                                        I received call from thier centre and they said recharge with 999 and they will provide 1year subcription even after i said i removed tata sky dish they said they will provide free of installation within 8 hours. Now its been 10 days they are alwys saying they will send representative but they are not sending anyone. I waited 10 days and also lost my hard earned money now they are saying they will take installation charges as well then too they are not sending anyone to install dish
