Tatasky abuses change in volume to attract attention to their commercial placings between regular programming.

Their strategy typically seem to be to drastically increase the volume of the first commercial during their programming break. They then proceed to bring the volume down to regular levels.

I have ethical concerns with this kind of advertising but more importantly this is a very low bar for consumer experience and should be re-considered by their advertising team.

I'm unaware of who regulates this kind of abuse in india.in the us for e. G., the calm act (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commercial_Advertisement_Loudness_Mitigation_Act) prohibits this kind of behavior.

My purpose in submitting this complaint is two-fold:
1. Make tatasky aware that we are concerned about this abuse and it is not something we will take lightly.
2. Make authorities who are responsible for regulating content and advertising that this issue exists.
Tata Sky customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
After the full yearly payment of Hd channels still I am facing the above mentioned problem on my Tata sky Id [protected]

    My self ajitkumar desai tata sky id number [protected].in dec’12 tata sky offer me a life time dhamaal mix pack and two free reginal pack (Marathi and hind) and same was charged ₹125 per month from dec’2012 to till date on above mention tata sky id. The same was continuing on my tata sky id up to 04th mar 2017. My services continuing from last 5years.in dec’2012 it was clearly told by tata sky representative on phone call that pack will be for life time. Suddenly on 4th mar 2017 i observed without grounds, information, notification the life time pack was renewed by tata sky to ₹220per month. When i call to costumer care and enquired regarding this changes representative but no proper answer given by cc. I feel the changes done by the tata sky to my package value (Which was offered for life time) is not correct and not as per tata integrities and tata reputation value.
    I have written two mails to tata sky but both mail reply is not regarding my compliant, but they give irrelevant answers. So, please take serious action to this matter.

      I am residing in mazgaon and have applied for a new tatasky connection. I was given the number of a dealer in this area called keyur, number [protected]. We called this person up 3 times but he did not talk properly, give any information regarding the installation and even disconnected the call on being called back. Is this the kind of service we can expect from tata sky??

        I m tata sky suscriber my id is [protected] since a week i hv been receieving bad signals nd not a single channel is working properly i hv been calling tata sky customer care but they r also not responsing nd giving fake noties that they will call in 10 mins

        I want my money to be refunded as soon as posiible becoz the service is just so bad that i cant able to watch television nd enjoy my show perfectly

            I have a tata sky dth multi tv hd connection at home. Date of installation[protected]. On installation i was told that the dish, super lnb, card and set top box is covered under warranty for one year. Warranty is valid till 27-9-17.0n 15-6-17 signal was lost. It said no signal due to bad weather. Complaint was registered with customer care-wo-xwzkw0g. The service engineer changed the lnb and charged rs 800/-to my account (Id-[protected])
            This is unethical and a very wrong practice since the warranty is still valid. I want that rs 800/- should not be deducted from my account.

                I am charging my tata sky dish tv with a package/plan of 280/ month from a year, but only 15 days this plan get exhausted instead of one month. And this is happening from 3 months.                   I am recieving no signal past two days trying to call customer care no answer call waiting no reply. Tata sky id -[protected], no signal problem most of the time since a long time every time the technician come he changes two pin plug to three pin problem not resolved. Since i have done annual payment of rs 10000 hardly watched tata sky. Tried of calling customercare there is no reponse from their side i would request to sort my problem or refund my money back since i have renewed my package on[protected] and hardly watched it. There must be a record of how many complains are made. Technicians are not interested in solving the problem.

                  Request to solve the issue or refund rs 10000 as i have not enjoyed the services.

                      As my remote control suddenly stopped functioning yesterday, 15.6.17, i had launched a
                      Complaint for that — complaint no wo#xx10k71 and a technician mr raju came and replaced the remote control. I was asked that i will have to pay rs200 against service charges. That was ok. Then i noticed that the 'universal' button of that new remote was not functioning. Today, since morning i complained about that to that technician thrice, but no visit was done. Then i officially complained to tata sky and now i am told that the company will charge me more 200 rs to solve the same problem.! This is totally unfair. If i am given a non functioning unit, which i pointed out on the very next day, it is the company's duty to replace the same without charging anything extra. Charging will be very very unfair and the customer feels cheated. Please do needful for this and keep me informed.

                        On 15th june, 2017 i paid rs 8500/ for the annual subscription upto 14 june 2018. Immediately the tata-sky plus services disappeared and a prompt appeared as follows:

                        "your tata sky+ usage fee is overdue. You will not be able to avail of the following features:rewind live tv, pause live tv, record and playback. Please press help on your remote for payment options"

                        A technicians come today and re-set the set top box & removed all my recorded programs. Then he said they are unable to resolve the problem is. 36 hours have elapsed since the renewal fee was paid & no resolution is in sight. Call centre executives, supervisor and team lead are of no help.

                        Meanwhile, family members are very upset that they are unable to watch the desired programs.

                        I am writing to appeal that the matter is taken up seriously & resolved urgently.

                          Dear sir/madam,
                          I have been a proud member of tata sky family since 2006 and have been a trusted partner since. I have one tata sky plus recording box +2 hd boxes in my house.

                          I also use tatasky in my office and work place but now a days i think tatasky is not interested in retaining customers.

                          I think there is a lot of work in tatasky and hence its better old customer leave tatasky.

                          Thank god i realised the same. I have complained on 09th june that my tatasky is not working which was working absolutely fine since last 5 years i. E. 15.06.2012 till 09.06.2017 at the same location. Now all of a sudden my location is having a problem. Gr8. I was been advised by your engineer that he will come with somebody else as 2 peoples are needed and will the needful very next day i. E. 10/06/2017 but am afraid to say that nobody came ever from 9/6/17 simply amazing.

                          Now whenver i complain the complaint is just rescheduled and nothing else happens or it gets cancelled.

                              Tatasky subscriber id: [protected] : customer care during recharge promised me that they will provide me the rs2000/- sopping gift voucher. But after recharge did not provide the voucher rather dragged for 10 days and said that there is no voucher for the recharge i did. They are ready to disconnect the service instead maintaining customer satisfaction.
                              So let me if they are going to continue or discontinue the service. My contact number is [protected]

                                My tata sky connection was installed on 31 may 2017, I D [protected]. Total amount paid rs 1786/- =1600+100+86/-, but validity is up to 17jun 2017, How it is, connection taken online from Asiana lucknow. Aajana office member mr amit pal is not responsible person to solve the issue, now make a complain against my problem.

                                    I had registered my complaint regarding the issue of no signal on my settop box on 13 june. The customer care informed that an engineer will visit on 15 june btw 4 to 5pm. But the engineer didn't visit so we again called at 5:30 so they said the date of visit has been rescheduled on 17 june. The visit was rescheduled without informing me. I left my whole day work and was waiting fr the engineer at home. I had even contacted the customer care 3 to 4 times today.

                                      Sub : - complain / ultimatum against the local service provider.
                                      Madam/ sir,
                                      This is to inform you that puri club, dist - puri, odisha is a platinum hd annual customer of your company since last five years. But we are extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by your local service provider current days.
                                      The fact is like this that at least 3 to 4 days in a week we are unable to enjoy the service as the system of tata sky is not functioning. We have put several complains frequently. After two three follow up some one turn up from the service provider checks and tells something has gone wrong and changes some parts best known to him as after two three days again that did not work where as we are charged to pay for the service what seldom availed. This is going on again and again and the result is the same.
                                      As you know that puri club is the only heritage club of puri and its members are highly elite, officials dignitaries including the district magistrate cum collector it brings sorry state of picture of tata sky service in puri. Lastly ultimatum has come from management committee to switch over to other service provider if the service does not improve.
                                      Under these circumstances i am constrained to intimate you to resolve this problem as soon as possible and oblige.

                                        We had your tata sky connection before two months we are facing some technical issue we called custcare they visited our place after 2 day's and they told us your set box need to be change and you will get 3 months free hd channels and now they are saying that you need to pay rs 600/-we geve rupees to the excutive and from next day are set top box is disconnected and today we called the custcare they are saying you need to recharge and then set top box will be activated we are not going to recharge for 3 months pls come and take your set top box we don't need it

                                        My d2h not working after purchasing 5 days.i called customer care and nodal officer but problem is at it is.what should i do .no one hear my complaint everyone saying complaint resolve soon.i m not satisfied with their services.i dont want any other connection from tatasky
