Dear Sir,
My set top box had stopped working & was replace by a recycled one by your New Delhi staff after a complaint.
The replaced set top box within 24 hrs managed to burn out the TV mother board including the HDMI cable connection from the set top box to the TV.
Your representative has seen the damage & has agreed that the bur out of the TV mother board is through the set top box.
To change the mother board of the Samsung TV, I had to pay up 8, 500 Rs.
Please find attached service report & the burn out picture.
Kindly advice soonest on as to what action you intend taking on the monetary loss I have suffered due a defective Tata Sky set top box.

          I have taken Tata sky cable connection on 26 June 2016. Subscriber ID [protected].

          I have made payments from my savings account while subscribing. Also, I had clearly mentioned my name on the form as “Ms. Raksha S Agarwal”. Address as A 303, Satellite Tower, Film city road, Goregaon East, Mumbai – 400063.

          Inspite of such clear communication, my name is wrongly spelt as Mr Arjit Singh. I have made several complaints but none of them have been considered.

          2) UH452P0 – 15/01/17
          3) UPPBF3C – 25/01/17

          I therefore, request you to make name corrections at the earliest without any further delay.

              Tata sky has really gone to dogs…
              Tatasky has my personal details including my address, yet i get annoying calls in hindi. I complained about it several times yet i continue getting calls in hindi that too in a nasal tone…really irritating. I am planning to discontinue my subscription.

              It has been a month since my last complaint in their portal... Nobody has contacted me so far.

              Tata Sky did not resolve it...I have resolved it by moving away from Tata sky
              I’d suggest you to provide your subscriber ID here so that Tata Sky's support team can get in touch with you. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I too made the complaint here and tata sky immediately responded to it. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. They resolved my issue by activating my account and providing for the days I was unable to view television. I am sure they will look into your matter and take corrective measures so that you don't face the issue again.

              I did provide my subscriber ID and Tata Sky contacted me...again in Hindi...the whole purpose was lost..I have since moved from Tata Sky.

                I upgraded my sd set top box to hd which had subscription free for 1 year
                But after two days o[censored]pgradation account deactivated and the customer care says there was no such schemes i am surely going to drag tata sky to consumer forum
                The customer care is pathetic. people of customer care are disgusting. These people show oversmartness. Truly disgusting, pathetic, . If the service does not start according to the promises made, i am going to sue these people

                      hey I have been cheated call came from tatasky customer care for offers for recharge and I have done recharge of it but they said that it will come of all channels all hds and simple ones but the thing has happened that my all hd channels are deactivated i called customer care they are saying u have not included all hds channels . I have been cheated 😡

                          It is to inform that undersigned is having two connections of tatasky since your launch of the product. Since I am in central service due to relocation connections became new. From your old record (Madhusudan Ray / M.S.Ray) you can verify the same. At present I am at Kanpur.

                          Due to this process, a new connection was taken (may be around Nov 2015) which was earmarked by your Tatasky as premium customer and accordingly from your headquarter I was advised to contact Mr. Ansari, In-charge Kanpur directly for any requirement. Now during last fortnight, the set top box was giving trouble. Yesterday they came and resolved the issue. Today the same problem got repeated. On their visit today it was informed that the set top box has to be replaced for which I shall be charged by Rs.700/- and replacement will be made today. Hence the following are my question:-

                          1. Since set top box is the property of tatasky and monthly charges are being recovered from the customer in the form of recharge, the reason for charging for replacement of the box from the customer needs to be provided.

                          2. In the case the charge is mandatory, why the same is not being clarified in their website and the advertisement in a transparent manner.

                          3. In case it is not published how the customer can be penalised, is not illegal.

                          4. In case this resolution is beyond your authority the mail-id of the suitable authority may please be provided.

                                Dear Team,

                                Hope you all are doing good.

                                But it is very much painful to be attended by an customer care executive Mr. Amar (pronounced as Aaa Mmmm Aaa Rrr) on the toll free number. My husband Mr.Soumyajit Majumder has raised a request from his registered mobile no. [protected] for uninstallation the Tata sky service yesterday afternoon around 2.30pm. But today Mr. Amar told me that there is no ticket raised for this. When I informed him why we want to unstall the service for a few days, he said "aap bol lijiye main sunta hu aur jab main bolunga tab aap sunenge.. (after few more conversation) he again said "aap k pas bohot gyan hain".. This time I have requested to speak with his superior. Then he said that "abhi iss time pe koi available nehi hain.. main check karta hu dubara.. and then he disconnect the call.

                                If this is he way Tata Sky people talk to the customer, then I should say thank you very much for your service till now. I have one more connection from another mobile no. I would like to discontinue the service from Tata sky and select someone else who atleast would listen to my request, understand the urgency.

                                    COMPLAINT:

                                    Even Tata sky, a company from the House of Tata, indulge in unfair trade practices is really surprising. As noted in subject content Tata sky used to cheat customers by adding paid channels without the consent of customers. All efforts including contact to customer care and Call Back facility failed to remove these channels.

                                    I have no idea what to do now except discontinuing of taking services from Tata Sky and looking for some other service provider. A lot of them are already in the market to grab this opportunity, I am sure.

                                    Lastly I will put this complaint in as it is form to all members of management and to social media also. Believe me.

                                        On 6th May I requested tata sky to discontinue some never viewed channels as well as remove /discontinue second tv set/set top box from operation, as my family became very small with myself and my wife at home as my children shifted abroad.At about 7.30 evening yesterday, I got a phone call from tata sky for probable reasons and are there any complaints for which I said a brand Of Tata there can not be any complaints.I was told that things will done from their office directly and tv will be off for 15-20 mins.After about 20 mins, tv in a very dim light flashed a msg 'as channel 1208 on which it was on requires additional Rs 7 Per month asking my sms permission.It was abundantly made clear whatever channels existing are not to be disturbed and payments made accordingly.But to our surprise many channels like regional Marathi kannada and English news channels were missing. Sms was given to start 1208 which was put on immediately. Unfortunately already dim Tv went off and only audio was available..All my efforts to establish contacts were in vain listening only to the taped masges..From my mobile their toll free numbers are not available and I always get msges 'pl check the numbers..And wasted several Rs for land landlines and taped msges. Today morning I sent a mail about the happenings.Their representative called me and on expected lines replied 'apka tv me kharabi hoga'.But kind enough to depute a technician.
                                        with lots pre condition you have to pay this and that so on and so fore.Just about an hour back their technician came and to our surprise declared tv as default..I told him to check this set top box with other tv of bed room, this tv for last one week was not functioning as its set top box was directive. And during his last visit we did not insist on its repairs as it would have costed Rs 300 and any how i wanted to discontinue. Today when he checked the set top box with this tv and to his utter surprise this tv was also damaged. Oh.what a shear coincidence .!! My strong feeling since both are getting signals from same dish above..During their adjustments yesterday these might have been damaged come whatever they say. this can not be a co incidence..Any how I will get these sets repaired ..Can tata sky throw some light on this as it is in public domain.Mean while what will happen to my balance Rs 291..These are some questions that tata sky has to answer..With TATA brand, it is still not my intention to discontinue services.But they have to provide their views..Mean while i am writing this, I am continuously getting miscalls on my cell numbers from[protected] at 16.14, 17.52, 18.09, 18.24..Only once contact established, when i was trying to say, line was disconnected.!!! was it being recorded..whey 4 times he tried to call me without answering when i say hello . i do not know what are these..Let tata sky provide their views..and train their subordinates..Do the business honestly as the country is learning what is honestly..That is it..
