This is in reference to my tata sky connection subscriber id [protected].
I have been using tata sky dth services for over 10 years. Initially i had two connections, however since last 4-5 years since introduction of tata sky hd i have been using only one set top box and paying for one as i have only one tv in my house.
Now the grievance part: my subscription ended on 26th july and instead of an annual pack i recharged with a monthly pack for 270 rs. But my connection got deactivated on 6th august that is within 10 days instead of 30 days due to insufficient balance. And subsequently:
• i raised my concern with customer care center on 7th august, 2016 itself and requested to deactivate the account but no resolution was provided for the same.
• i again raised my concerns with customer care center on 12th august, 2016 as no resolution was provided for previous request and i was told that backend team would get in touch within 24 hours-still no resolution
• i again for the third time raised my concern with customer care center on 14th august, 2016 and requested to deactivate the account and i was told to recharge the account with minimum balance in order to process the request and executive would call back once i recharge, therefore i recharged with minimum amount 40rs and my connection worked for one good day. Still no resolution.
• i again raised my concern with customer care center on 21st august, 23rd august and 25th august, 2016 itself and requested to deactivate the account but no resolution has been provided for the same till date.
The executives keeps passing the calls to other departments and it’s the customers who ultimately has to suffer. I am surprised how such a big and reputed organization like tata be so unprofessional.
In all above instances the reason given to me was could not reach out to customer and request was closed, the reasons were put just to complete the slas and tats because i had not received any calls on my register mobile number or alternate number which is very unprofessional and unacceptable behavior on tata’s part.
Tata Sky customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
