I have purchased your tata sky hd set up box in january 2016. however it was technically damaged within these 5 months. when registered the complaint, the repaired set up box was replaced. but the replaced set up box happened to be old one, which was tecnically upgraded. this set up box is not up to the mark in terms of hd clarity which i use to get in my new setup box. and this replaced set up box is actually for the testing purpose which your technical team always carries with them. above all the technician was very rude to my wife who was alone at home. the card insert box is half broken and it's old enough than the latest compact setup box now that we get. i would therefore request you or your team to kindly replace the new setup box as this wasnt our fault. it was a technical fault which was given by your company. also i would like you to take necessary action on that technician who came to replace my setup box. he wasnt even technically sound. kindly revert me on this immediately and replace my new setup box, the latest one, by eod.
Failing to these, i will have to take necessary action. i might go to consumer court and sue your company. beleive me, i have plenty of time to fight for this. hence please take this matter seriously.

    Past few days my tata sky set top box not receiving signal properly. When i switch on dish tv initially it starts & after few minutes it goes & no signal shows. Green light in set top box also goes. Please solve out the problem urgently. My tata sky customer id is [protected]. I am using tata sky dish since last year may 2015. Plz solve the above said problem as soon as possible.
    Tata Sky customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    'signal drop' has become a problem for many. May be, technically tatasky has deteriorated.

      (This is the details of the complaint i already lodge)

      I have been using tatasky service from march 2012 in my current south delhi location and use the south sports package.In the month of july 2016, tatasky did an upgrade to their network and as a result i stopped receiving most of my channels apart from couple of my regional channel. I did not wanted to miss the euro match i soon contacted to the tatasky customer care on 2-jul to sort out the problems. His suggestion and tips did not work, and he suggested a the engineer would be visiting us by 7-july. He also pointed out i need to pay the charges of the engineer for the same. I pointed out this is due to upgrade problem from their side since it was working just before the upgrade and i should not be paying for the same. However tatasky remained adamant on this issue. On the same conversation i asked the representative to close the account and he denied to do so and place an fixing order only.

      Next day (3-jul) i put a closure request through the tatasky portal; which had been responded back by tatasky on 11-july.

      The interaction went as follows

      11-jul afternoon
      I received a call from tatasky cancellation department. The representative started the call asking me the reason for which i want cancel the account. I explained him as the tatasky is asking me to pay for the technician visit for the correction of the problem, which is the result of their upgrade they have made. So tatasky can not charge for the technician support. According to the tatasky representative as my settop box is out of warrenty, i need to pay the service charge. I did not agree to the point, and requested him to process my request for cancellation. I was asked by the tatasky repesentative to get my remaining money i need to pass them the tatasky settop box and it is as per their policy.Interesting tatasky is telling me that my settop box is out of warrenty (Which means it is my property) and they also want to get it back without paying me back for the settop box. With this point he mentioned me he will get back to me.

      12-jul morning
      Another call from tatasky. Once again asking me the reason of cancellation. And once again sticking back to their point i have to return the settop box, and they will not pay me back for the settop box. I agreed with him that he need to send me in mail the evidence that tatasky has shared me the policy he is mentioning during the time contract was made, and i shall be returning the settop box to them. He agreed to send me the mail.

      12-jul afternoon
      No mail from tatasky; and another representative called up. Again same pont and this time i need to mention to them that they have something pending from their side. This time the representative used a threat mode to say me that i am loosing my money since they will cancell the account only when they will get the settop box.

      13-jul morning
      No mail from tatasky; and another representative called up. Points repeated and i mentioned them they are westing my time as well their time. They need to send me the evidence of sharing the policy or they need to pay me back the installation charges for the settop box.


      13-jul afternoon
      No mail from tatasky; and another representative (Ravi kiran) called up. This time i made the they need to send me the mails in evidence first.

      Mail from tatasky has arrived and it is as follows

      Hello mr. Das,

      We regret for the inconvenience caused.

      We would like to inform you that as per tatasky policy amount will be refunded only when the setup box has been reversed.

      Your account balance is rs.178.42/- available as on 13/07/2016. And you need to renew it by 26/10/2016.

      Next time you want a new pack, just go to the channel number you want and sms the code mentioned on the tv screen to 56633.

        My tata sky dish not receiving signal since 6th july. i have called customer care daily since then but everytime they said your complaint will be attended. i recived smss that between so and so time technician will visit. only once on monday 11th july somebody visited said dish rusted u have to replace tommorrow another technician come and install dish but till date nobody visited

          I have done an complain for weak telacast of channel in spite of no rain on. 11th july. i have not got the service appropriate. one technician visited and checked the connection but he is also not able to find the proper solution. he has provided new setup box but told to not activate as with new setup box still the connection is low and if we activate the charge will be apply for new setup box. its very miserable as we are not watching tv from last 2 days after that repeatedly complain not getting any revert. kindly send some senior technician who has proper knowledge about fixing wires and fixtures. otherwise i need to remove the connection from tata sky due worst service

            This is to inform that how your service is irritating me and now i am very much frustrated. my subscriber id is [protected].
            1) i have been a customer of tata sky more than 5-6 years.
            2) i shifted from bangalore to hydrabad after relocation i have raised a request for to install the tata sky at my new place.
            3) when i was using the tata sky in bangalore i was having my dedicated dish tv. but your service engineer came to my new place i. e. hydrabad. he has not installed my dish. he provided a connection from common dish.
            4) since that time i am having network problem. some of the channels are not coming and the channels which i am able to see having some distortion and noise.
            5) i called again your customer care two or three times no body turned up.
            6) then i raised this issue with online chat then one of your service engineer came and he told tata sky settings has changed. he did something setting changed for that time issue is resolved. but after couple of hour again the network issue raised.
            7) i mentioned the network issue is raised because of service engineer has not installed the antenna properly so there should not be visiting charge. and the person who was chatting with me agreed and told we will make sure there will not be any visiting charge.
            8) i can see now in my account visiting charge has deducted i. e rs 200/-. although issue is not resolved till now.
            9) i again complaint via chat messager. i told this lot of thing happens. he again raised a request.
            10) today (13th july 2016) visited one of your service engineer and telling that this set up needs to be changed and you should take tata sky hd setup box.

            Kindly resolve my issue and revert back the money which was charged against visiting charge rs 200/-. the problem is occurred by your side not from my side for the same issue i will not pay two times. these issues leads to change my dth provider. if it not resolved asap.

              lodged complaint telephonically on 12/7/16. I was told that technician will call us in 2 hours and will attend compliant.
              Neither technician called on 12/7/16 nor did he come to attend complaint. We had to get it done at our own.

                This is to inform you how your staff/field staff are dealing with your customers.
                1. i have been a customer of tata sky for more than last ten years.
                2. while i have been happily enjoying the services provided by for more than eight/nine years but during last year i am sorry to bring to your notice the trauma i have faced due to behavior of your staff/field staff.
                3. when i was residing in chanakyapuri i had my dedicated dish but when i shifted to my own house/flat in patparganj
                I was provided a connection from a common dish already in position to serve few other customers.
                4. when i lodge a complaint with tata sky a field staff person comes and while correcting my problem he disturbs the other customers connection and vice-versa. as a result i have to make frequent request for site visit of tata sky staff and still do not get proper service.
                5. colour channel/ndtv goodtimes etc were dropped from my subscription by your field staff on their own without any information to me and when i contacted them i was informed that there has been revision in the services covered in the various packs and if i am interested in viewing these channels i will have to subscribe for a suitable ultra pack and would have to pay more. while it did not sound well but still i made additional payment as suggested by your staff. but when these services/channels were not being still provided covered in the ultra packi contacted your staff who said a man would visit my place and see if there is a problem in the dish for which i will have to make additional payment.
                6. i do not understand you charge for a service and are not able to provide and demand for your field staff the behavior of whom has already been explained above.
                6sir my request to you is to get the things alright and provide me withe the channels for which i have already made the payment.

                  I have recharge tata sky of rs 270 through payzapp money deducted from my account and money not received by tata sky. I had done lot's of call to payzapp and tata sky but nobody is bother to help me and clear my doubt. Hdfc and tata sky hold the ball in their own court. Where is my money (Rs. 270) gone. This is my transaction number mvisa2016072il4 and cheque/ref. No.[protected]. I have done scores of call to tata sky customer care and they are not ready to help me out. Plz help.

                        We have a tata sky set up box and we have shifted from bombay to surat, we called the service centre for the set up at surat, we had carried the set up box with us except the dish, therefore we were told to purchase a new dish antina which would cost us rs.200/- then later we got a call from the service centre they informed to pay rs.800/-, we called up again at the service centre, the person informed us rs.500/- that is rs.200/- for the dish antina & rs.300/- for relocation and installation, the nxt day wen the service person arrives at the residence he says to pay rs.900/-, the service centre has been giving us wrong information, i had spoken to the floor manager mumtaz she too could not give us the accurate charges. they have provided an average service.

                          my dish direction was change by monkeys and complaint was lodged.Your mechanic visited my home and set right the dish direction and I am charged
                          Rs.180/=
                          I have subscribed for 12 months and for rs.180/= TV screen shows envelope to
                          remind Rs. 180/= continuesly which is irritating too.
                          I am ready to pay it online by card, but how to pay I do not know.Should I use RECHARGE section or any other section?
                          Pl. explain me how to make payment by credit/debit card online?
                          I do not want any irritation/disturbance on the screen because of small amount. I need your help for this problem.

                              Sir my subscriber i'd is: [protected] i am not see my tvs because of tata sky for no signal problem. I am also call the customer care of tata sky but they not solve my problem since 1 week. Kindly request to solve my problem as soon as possible. Other wise i have no option to disconnect my tata sky connection. Tata sky also send the engineer to solve the problem but they not solve my problem. I am facing many problem since many days for not seeing tata sky.

                                This is abhishek chand [cust-id [protected]] would like to inform you that i am using a tata sky dth connection from past three years. my family is out of station from last two months and now they are about to come by end of this week.in these two months your customer rep. regularly use to call me and they don't care about the fact that whether i am in office or doing some important work even i use to tell them but still.
                                Today one of your customer rep called [[protected]] three or four times forcing me to recharge my account with 1800 rs. for an year. i told him that i will do it today when i will get the time. i have recharged my account now with less than 100 rs.
                                Your customer rep again called and told me i am disconnecting your account because you have not recharged with 1800 rs. when i asked him about the reason he told me that we have a lot of customer with tata sky not only you and told me a hell lot of things rudely and disconnected the phone refusing to disclose his name.
                                So, i want these issues to be sorted out as soon as possible especially the manners that how to talk with a customer.

                                  Issue: we have two tata sky connections one at home & another in our own office.in tata sky at home its showing please install tata sky when we on the set top box. and in office one we need to get re-connected as we shifted our office recently.
                                  I had called tata sky before 1 month for my tata sky above issue. the lady on the other hand said she will send the concerned person for resolving the issue asap. after a month or so a person called me on 5th july 2016 asking about the issue. i again told them the whole story, he told me i'll send the person in two three days, now its been a week no one has come to our place. we have never faced such horrible problem from tata sky. why now?? now i think its high time, tata sky service is getting miserable day by day.
                                  One more question i would like to ask is where i can talk to your tele-callers??
                                  I tried calling on your toll free number there is no option of talking to the customer representative. and what if the person is not calling from the registered number?
                                  Please improve your service tata sky, or else the day will come soon when you'll lose your client base because of your horrible support.

                                    We were given an option to pay for full year subscription which we did thinking we shall get good service... But its worst and the call centre people are also very unprofessional...

                                    We had a basic issue... Our music & audio channel were not working since 7/7/2016 for which we had to call 6 times but didnt resolve... Finally i asked my refund which they refused to give rather they promised to send their man for a repair which didnt happen till date 11/7/2016 (We even have a confirmation sms from them)

                                      Dear sir / madam,

                                      I am highly disappointed with the services of tata sky dth, with the company charging me exorbitant fees, with antenna replacement charges and i am not able to avail the services.

                                      They charge 600p. M, with the cable connection unavailable for 1 week in a month. They recently replaced an antenna and i paid ~1400 for the same. The antenna provided is shoddy and they are demanding money again with no warranty provided.

                                      Customer service is pathetic with local thugs being appointed as technicians who end up stealing the antennas.

                                        I m complaining since 10days but nobody is concerning the complaint, I am staying in an apartment where there are around 50connections in a common dish of yours tata sky, so many are facing the problem, since we are requesting to take care the complaint of the mine and sovle it as soon as possible,
