Complained Tata Sky about not able to view few channels which are part of my package(sports hd)Like-254, 326, 327 etc. Customer care said they will send engineer(chargeable basis). All they did is to call and close complaint even without checking with me. This is horrible, we are paying subscription for services which we are not getting . This is very bad customer experience from Tata Sky ..is there a way to get my subscription back for
The days i not able to view channels ?

    I have moved my residence from mumbai to goa. On 30/4/2016 I had phoned helpline and informed that I would like to transfer my connection. I was given a reference No; Work order OJ 58 X 4Y. On 01/05/2016 your technician visited, unfortunately as it was labour day ( Holiday) terrace of my building was locked. Technician promised to come the next day, i waited whole day on 2/5/2016 and 3/05/2016 no one came. however i got an sms stating that my work had been completed...this is totally wrong. Therefore i phoned helpline again and was given new work order ref no:OLOWEQY. within few minutes your representative phoned and informed me that technician would certainly come on 4/5/2016 morning. No one has come today also and I have wasted another day waiting for your technician.(totally now three days wasted) please inform me if you are interested in having me as a customer as otherwise there are many other DTH services waiting to serve me

    Call center executives are really pathetic and doesn't like to register or accept complaints for their foolishness during calls.

    Service complaint is created for non preferred time and cancelled it for accepting their preferred time.

      I received a telephone call from tata sky. it asked my name and then told that there is a new channel of tata sky .the called did not ask for my consent and disconnected the phone No.[protected].after some time i received a sms from tata sky that a new channel has been added at 59/-p.m. I contacted the person who had installed the tata sky set top box but he told that i should contact the customer care . i have been trying but to no use. no one is picking the phone and the response is that this line has been closed. this is not expected from a reputed company of the status of tata sky. I request that my additional pack may be immediately cancelled and information given to me. witgh regards,

        I have a tata sky + connection. Consumer id [protected]. The set top box stopped responding and was replaced by the repairman after charging me 900 rupees on march 12, 2016 (Transaction id - nd7v0e4). The new replaced set top box started giving problems and stopped working on 2nd may 2016. Again it was replaced yet i was charged 900 rupees again.
        So 3 observations-
        1) you charge us exhorbitant amounts and yet your service is not up to the mark.
        2) the average age of your set top box less than 2 months and i will be billed every time they are replaced? What kind of shoddy damaged set top boxes do you install than if they cannot even last 2 months.
        3) i talked to your technician and he told me that all set top boxes that are given as replacements are refurbished ones and not new ones. So, am i paying 900 rupees for a god knows what how many times repaired product.

        On top of this i have to deal with a bunch of that you call as your customer service team. Repeating what i say back to me not customer service. Customer service means addressing my problems not sending me on a wild goose chase.

          Not able to view tatasky since 1st may. Complaints lodged on 1 st may closed without resolving. Keeping the help line on hold for long time without resolving issue. Id [protected]. I am not able to view tatasky for more than 15 days in a month. Similar problem occurred from march last week to april 3rd week when it was solved due to your interventioned. Again it happened in april last week which was resolved by speaking to help line. My connection is new, hardly 6 months old. I think, this may be due to defective set top box. Kindly resolve the issue, since set top box within guarantee period.

            I started TataSky services in March 2016. I paid for a full year subscription along with HD DVR box and Karaoke services. Two weeks into the subscription, the box stopped working. I have lodged a complaint with the customer services department and have called them for follow up, but there is no response from them. They promise that the box will be replaced and services will be restored, but to no avail. The technicians are not reachable and when I do get a hold of them they say that company is not providing them with the replacement box. My children are in there 3 rs week of summer vacation and are not able to watch their favorite programs. I have paid for the whole year but still not able to watch the programs. I am very disappointed and I have requested for the services to be cancelled. I strongly recommend that people should not go with Tata Sky. Very very poor service.

              I have a tata sky dth connection (Consumer id. [protected]). On 03.05.2016, company automatically added one addition channel on my connection which amounts rs. 59/- p.M. Without my consent.Company made a phone call to me and told that the same has been added. When i asked the caller to drop the same, she replied to call the customer care. I also tried to call customer care but they did not responded. They i tried to discontinue the channel through online but it is notifying that the same will be discontinued after 01 month only.
              It is a very wrong practice. I like to drop the pack immediately. I hope that a corrective action will be initiated against these thing.

                Hi,

                Nirav sheth ( address : 4, kartikey nagar society, div-3, iskon vasna road, harinagar, baroda – 390011, gujarat ) here. My tata sky id number is [protected]. I made yearly recharge on 03.02.2016.

                At that time, i got information through tv advt., about special benefit on yearly recharge, still after many telephonic calls, i didn’t get any benefit.

                  From our selected pack we are not getting many of the channels like epic, ntv, food channels etc.
                  Always showing " check your set top box ", where as other channels like etv, sab, star etc are being shown.

                    I recharge for so many times(3 times) for add channel set max...
                    This channel available 25 rs. For 30 days..
                    When i was recharge that times activate channel for 2 days..
                    Then 3rd days that channel deactivated.. When i was calling customer care
                    Busy or not responding that person... Please accept this comp lent...

                        I want to change Monthly Pack of Rs. 705/- (sorry i don't know which pack is this) to Dhamal Mix pack of Rs. 270/-

                        I already recharge the same pack i.e. Dhamal Mix of Rs. 270/- on 30th April, 2016 at night.

                        please note that i trying to change pack by calling on your customer care number from 1st May, 2016 but 3 calls each call is holding for 15-20 minutes (charge per call is Rs. 20/- deducting from my telephone) nobody is responding to my query. since answer is your system is down cant change the pack. Today also i spoke to your representative at around 8.30 pm.& also same reply your system is not working / not supporting.

                        I humbly request you to kindly look in to the matter and resolve my request o[censored]pdate of new plan i.e. Dhamal Mix pack

                        other wise discontue my service & return my money of purchase Tatasky Setup Box becasue last month only in installed this box (i.e. in April)

                          Tv signal is disconnected for id no. [protected]. System installed on 19.03.2016. Complaint registered with customer care vide complaint no. Oiffpyp dated 29.04.2016. E-mail also sent for restoration of tv signal on 30.04.2016 at 10:40 am. No attention is paid in real sense. The detail matter is given below.

                          My payment due date is 09.05.2016. I shall make the payment as per due date. Please restore tv signal for this. Kindly note that as the system is on one year warranty, no charges can be impose related to system problem occurred due to natural calamity. The tv dish antenna got bent due to heavy dust storm. The complaint was lodged with customer care. The installation engineer / technician visited the house and suggested to change the position as the person who installed the antenna initially did not do it properly. We agreed to his suggestion. We are surprise to note that a service charge of rs. 200/- has been imposed and thereby disconnected the services without any information to us. When contacted customer care it was informed by them to first pay and recharge as there is no balance in our account.

                          This is most surprising even for no fault of innocent customers, they are being penalized. We don't expect this kind of business from an organization like tata sky. We hope you will take necessary action and restore the tv signal and also change the recharge date to 14.05.2016 as we have not been getting tv signal from 28.04.2016 to 02.05.2016.

                          Originally our recharge date is 09.05.2016.

                            Pathetic service...
                            I had ordered for a Tata sky HD box on 30th may. It took me around 2 hours to get my concerns sorted and place the order. on 30th may around 12:30 Pm I get a message from Tata stating technician has been scheduled for 1st May 2016 between 12:30 to 1:40 Pm. No call no technician for the entire day. When I called Tata customer care they said no request has been scheduled. If the request was not scheduled how can I get a Work order no: OJKW2VW. Post this they said you will receive a call from our Backend department and he hung the phone. received a call from backend guy called Mrunal, he assured me technician will be at my place by 6:00 pm on Sunday evening and we will call you to check if the installation is done, to which is said ok. Sunday evening in vain...NO call NO technician..
                            Monday 2nd May 2016 called the customer care to raise another complaint to which customer care executive Preeti says again you will receive a call in the next 2 hours...waiting for the call till 2:00 pm today. called back customer care same response you will get a call in the next 2hours...
                            Frustrated to the core, I found the nodal department number which they say if customer care cannot solve your issue call us.
                            Biggest mistake to call these guys...
                            first call to nodal department, I spoke to Harish same assurance, will get a call in sometime o which I said I need the technician to come at 6:00 Pm as we are working and no one will be there to attend till that time, to which he said I have made a note and technician will come post 16:00 to 16:45 hours.
                            Second call to nodal department, was not able to trace harish so spoke to Mohammed, to my horror he said there is no complaint launched and its yours first time you have called the Nodal department... I don't know what should I do...I have lost my patience ad I m done with TATA SKY...
                            A SUGGESTION TO EVERYONE...PLZ DONT BUY TATA SKY PATHETIC SERVICE ZERO CUSTOMER VALUE AND SATISFACTION.

                              I am completely dissatisfied with the information provided by the Tata sky customer care person. I requested for change in the location of my dish antenna and according to customer care it will be charged 300/- only. Customer care didn’t gave me any information about dismantle charges. 500/- has been charged from me for this. This is mistake from the customer side to not to give me full information for the same. So I request to refund 200/-Rs back to my account.

                                Dear Tatasky executive,

                                Today I tried to activate Ten1 HD channel and I was informed that this will be available at an offer for Rs 25 for the first month. The executive tried to activate it but during the call phone got disconnected. I called again and the associate confirmed that there is no such offer and forwarded the call to the senior department who later confirmed that the offer is valid but it will take two hours ti reflect in the account.
                                After waiting for two hours when the channel didn't get activate, I called again and this time the associate confirmed that this offer is valid for a few subscribers alone and mine was not included in this pack but rather another one which was not the need of the hour.
                                After continuous arguments as these conversations took my whole day, I asked to lodge a complaint against this misguided approach by the associates and also asked to add the channel irrespective of the fact that it is on offer or not.
                                After staying on hold for a while, the call got disconnected again.
                                This behavior by the helpdesk is beyond my tolerance as a consumer and I need an action against the team on the same along with some incentives provided to me due to the inconvenience this entire scenario has caused me.

                                  I purchased TATA sky HD connection in March 2016 and observed problem of remote working in April 2016.Complaint lodged at Toll free number and attendant came . He replaced the original remote with another old remote DTH39 which was working at that time but after some days it is also giving problem. Now it is not working.
                                  Request you to please arrange to replace the remote free of cost.
                                  There is no proper response on Toll Free No. and takes lot of time in getting customer care agency.

                                    I have a tata sky dth connection and not request the south special pack. But activate the south special pack. We want only the tamil regional channel only. Hence i request you to activate my99 pack please. Now i am recharged the amount rs.440/-. Hence activate my99 pack only. I don't like this south special pack. Any how i request you to change the plan immediately please.

                                      My name is kaleem and i have been using tata sky cable services for more than eight months. Recently i have added an extra connection to my existing connection for i have bought an led for my living room. As far as my cable package is concerned, i have a basic rs. 240 package that goes with rs. 240 rental package for my new led and rs. 105 sports package thus i would pay rs. 585 as monthly cable payment. At the time of installing tata sky services for my led tv the salesman committed that i would be given one month free hd services and did not tell me that i have to get it deactivated in case i do not want to avail those services. Also, they have added one multiplex service without taking our consent for which they are charging rs. 60. They have deactivated my connection on 1st may 2016 for not paying the unnecessary amount that too well before my usual due date i.E. 18th of every month. When i ask seek for refund they told me to make all the payments in order to get eligible for refund.

                                        Received a call from customer care and they offered a free channel called active manager without informing that they will be starting charging rs 10 per day.This is pathetic and drastically unetical.Cant expect such a misleading deals from such a reputed company.
                                        With immediate effect drop this package and recover my lost money as well confirm the same by sms as soon as possible.
