Firstly, tatasky is misleading customers by saying that 'metro package' has certain number of channels, and the package cost is a certain amount. however, this number of packages includes the hd packages which are not viewable unless you pay additional for the same...therefore, tatasky is misleading customers.
secondly, i ordered a hd set top box on 25th Dec., 2015. The set top box is supposed to be installed within 48 hours...however the same was not installed.
i again put in another request on 31st Dec 2015 for installation of the hd settop box...the same was not installed.
on 5th jan 2016 i again spoke to their helpline...including some senior gentleman and a lady, and i was told that the matter is being escalated and
the set top box will positively be installed within 24 hours.
no action...i again spoke to their helpline, and also chatted with their executive. i was told that a workorder has been issued..the installer will call within 2 hours, and set top box will be installed within 24 hours.
still no action...i again chatted with them on 9th night, and i was assured that on top most priority, the installation will be done.
still no action...on 10.1.2016, I spoke to their phone banking officer. I understand that in their records it has been mentioned that the installer has
called up my number 9 times but without reply. this reflects the extent to which tatasky can go about making false statements, because my registered phone has a missed call service, and their is no message about any missed call from tata sky or their installation agent...
i had also requested tatasky to do the hd box installation through some other dealer since apparently their dealer in the area is playing foul...
however, still no action...
the extent of misinformation by tatasky, and the amount of harassment being done by them may well be gauged.
legal action should be taken against tatasky by the consumer redressal forum for (1) misinformation regarding channels available in a package, and (2) delay and failure in providing support services to customers being in a monopolistic position (3) the amount of harassment caused to customers
