Friends please do not opt for Tata sky DTH service, horrible service, rogues are working in this company. While taking money they are very punctual and sincere, but when problem comes they are rogues, they charge unnecessarily from you account without notifying you. They are criminals.

    From the past one year I had to change my set up box 5 times. There is no one in tata sky to take the complaint. Every time they send a technician to replace the box without giving us any details. The worst part is they cut the money from the balance of my tata sky package. Every time the box has been changed they have charged us INR 575. There is no warranty of the HD boxes and they don't even replace it with a new box. They give us used/repaired boxes. The technicians have no clue as to what to answer and the customer care have only one answer "we are sorry, but we can't do anything. First of all they are giving such costly yearly packages and on top of that this is what they do with the complaints, charge extra for no reason. I wonder if there is anything that can be done. This is pathetic.

    Worst Customer service ever. The customer care guys do not speak English. If any one speak to them in English, they disconnect the call or stop talking. If you want to explain any Issue its very hard to explain as their people speak like robot. Its better to live with the problem rather then contacting help line.
    Same complaint here. They replaced my box with a old second hand repaired one and also charged me Rs 575. It means repairing the box will always cost 575 irrespective of how small the problem with the box was. They dint even tell us what was wrong with the box and their service report also never mentioned anything. They dont even provide a receipt of service. Its a money making scheme wherein they tell you ur box is not working take another one for 575. Why cant they repair my own box and charge accordingly.

      Eversince i bought tatasky in march, 2015, i am being harassed every month with multiple reminders to recharge the monthly subscription one week before the recharge date. I have lodged complaints via emails but it seems tatasky is incorrigible my tatasky id no. Is [protected]. I was compelled to give my mobile number as their website states it is mandatory

        Tata sky is the one of worst DTH operator i have ever eared, the customer care support is completely nonsense, they cheating the people always trying to sale something and not interested in customer service, whenever we try to call the customer support we have to wait minimum 10 minutes and maximum only god knows, being a tata employee i am not supposed use this word but if they are not able to serve the customer properly they should sell this others those who can handle better, for past 20 days we are not able view almost 50% of the channels in my package, every time i try to call but waste after waiting 10-15 minutes the call gets disconnected my subscriber id [protected]

          My 2nd tv isn't working but stil dey r charging me for it nd not disconnecting it on my requests oso md oso hav charhed me.rs.170 frm my main account for visit fee although no technician has come to visit. Nd now when I'm asking for refund dey are avoiding nd exaggerating the thinga instead of quickly resolving it. My subscriber id is [protected]. I had registered so many requests but dey are just cheating on and declining d requests as per procedural formats...

            I am using tata sky for quite some time ID-[protected], i had a problem with my settop box and changed on payable basics within two months now my box again a problem and not working. Engineer came and changed the box and again they are charging for the box & technician visit charges. They have completely no answer for faulty box within two months. Their customer care executives are totally ruthless and they claim that the the box is physically damage and unable to explain what is the damage.

            If anybody responsible person is there in tata sky please have some ethics and do something about it...

              I have just become the secretary of our Housing Society Namely Sadhana CHS located at Peddar Road. We did survey of the building and realized that TATA SKY installed a common Dish antenna without the permission of the society and is providing illegal connections to members. I called the representative of TATA SKY in the area and asked him to remove the illegally installed DISH . He refused to do so. That is the reason I am putting this complaint here so that the company can stop doing this illegal act. TATA brand name associated with ethics and such an action from the company was not expected. More over refusal to remove the DISH is just not understandable. Of course if they do not remove the illegal DISH we propose to take legal action.

                On viewing some of the channels such as colors infinity plus, ndtv good life etc the picture was completed distorted and hence i was unable to view these channels.

                A complaint was lodge by me last week, a person came from tata sky at 8:30 pm in the night only to inform me that he would need to look at the satellite dish on the building terrace to solve the problem but it was too dark to do so and hence someone else would come the next day. A person again came the next day and replaced a small box near my tv. Thereafter the problem was sorted for 2 days. However again the problem reoccurred and i called in a complaint on sunday night and was told that someone would come on monday. The problem persists. I have called the service centre every day and each day i am told that the person will come the next day.

                No one has come as yet and the problem still continues.

                  I have purchased a tata sky hd set top box 10 days back. I was informed that if i purchase directly through phone service then i will get all channels for free for 1 month. The box was installed i paid INR 2200 for the box and connection. Today while browsing the channels i just realised most of the channels were not coming. On complaining over the phone, they simply stated that it was a fault from the sales department and they cannot help it. I am disgusted by this kind of a service from these people and i will formally lodge a complaint against them in the court. Anytime you have a problem there is always an application update in progress and they cannot check records, if there is an application update then how can the amount be deducted from the consumer through message and till the service is not given.

                    Unbecoming of Tata product. For non payment of Rs 2 (rs two) Tata sky services refused to temporarily discontinue Tata sky service. My Tata sky subscriber number is [protected]. I have paid nearly Rs 7000 for annual subscription. Due to my children exams, I wanted Tata sky to temporarily discontinue for a month from today. We called[protected] Tata sky help line. They talked for nearly 15 minutes to explain about Rs 2 due from me to Tata sky. Total phone bill for this enlightenment was Rs 18. Preposterous . Disgusting feeling. But shri Ratan Tata is a great person, I pity his team.

                      We got a tatasky hd box on 15th of september. The box stopped working after a month or so. So we were told that the the dish was faulty and we were charged. Were in actually if they are sending a new hd box they should have sent a dish with it. We were charged for the same.

                      After about 7 days the set top box stopped working. Hence we called them again and the customer care executive said that some one will come and have it looked into. We were also advised that there would not be any other charge that would be assesed to us. Technicians came and said that the set top box was faulty and they have to replace it. They asked us to reharge first. Hence did the recharge. The amount was deducted and i recharged again. Now there is no balance. Called up the executive and complained. He transfered me to his supervisor. He assured that it will be done and for 2 days my service would not be suspended. Wallah the service gets suspended and i do not get a call from the executive aswell.

                      Also would like to add that they said that my box is not under warranty and that's the reason we have been charged. I for a fact know that there is a 1 year waranty for every new box that has been provided by Tatasky.

                        We recharged yearly pattern of TATA sky Rs. 1500/- . on 2014. we have faced a problem of some channels which are giving a no signal but these some channels are in subscription package. So please provide a solution for how to overcome of this problem and also provide a details related to them.

                          Sir I am Dharamvir Singh from 24 Raj Rif.My Coy has a Tata sky connection for entertainment of people's. I am care taker of Dth Connection. That connection purchased is the name of Mr Raj Ratan. I have recharge above mentioned Tata sky from Rs 1360 for six months on 5th Jul 2015. But said account has been deactivated by Tata sky on 23 Oct 15. I have many times communicated through phone call and E mail. After lodging complaint I have received a call on 29 Oct 15 from an executive of Tata sky. Who told me that your account now inactive so I am unable to see your account .please recharge immediately by Rs 250/- due to pack rate is increased. I have recharge the same by Rs 250/- . I have many time send e mail but not received any response given by Tata sky to till date. I have save all transmission in my cell phone about the complaint. Pl solved the issue immediately. Thanks

                              Dear Sir i was a satisfied customer of Tata Sky, In the rains the viewing was lost, hence I started the cable connection with a local GTPL vendor during the year I was in receipt of enough calls from Tata Sky, to restart the services, actually speaking the services in terms of TV viewing Tata is really good, leaving beside their useless customer care executives I appreciated their calls and showed the willingness to deal with Tata, after making payment and after confirming with their executives that I would not be charged for the installation (as it was mere a cable fixing in the dish), the day came when they said no Sir the cable fixing could not be free it could be minimum 200 or can be more[protected]I responded that for Tata I bore a loss of Rs.800 by deactivating my present GTPL, why the Company not do me a favor just by waiving off Rs200 somehow the executives were adamant I thought to compromise & replied OK however after several promises the technician was not able to visit my premises, finally requesting for a refund day before yesterday bore no result today again I reminded them, overall I must have made 100 calls to mitigate the issue however with useless responses.                                 I have 2 connection of Tata sky. Primary and secondary of which secondary connection was not in use by e since 4 years
                                .
                                I Received Message from Tata sky for change a box by paying Rs.560 otherwise service is not available from 26/10/15.

                                So i Changed box, and return old settop box but new HD Box is issued to me on secondary connection which is not in use so i register a complaint to tata sky to transfer such HD Box to my Primary Connection wide Complaint No. KZVJ3EP

                                But till date my problem is not solved,

                                i also pay all visit charges

                                  Every 17th day (approx) of month I pay Rs 240, this time I received a message to pay Rs 540. I talked to executive on 2nd November when I came to know that my active manager is activated so I have to pay Rs 540. I did not activate this extra facility and I dont want it but now they have already deducted some amount and they want me to pay my dues that too on 4th November. Tatasky id :[protected]

                                    Dear All, i am using tata sky connection for long time and my ID is [protected]. They were excellent earlier but recently they are the one of the worst. My set top box was faulty and replaced with new by last sept-2015 on chargeable basics. Now i am facing problem that my HD channels are not working, i have made a complaint & tata sky saying they charge for service for the new box. Look's like their set box will work for one month only. i have no option but to change the operator... if they value their customer it should be free service for a new box... All your justification shows your set top is unpredictable after one or two months.

                                        I am in this strange situation - 4th time this year...some marketing guy from Tata sky calls my landline number ..even though my old mother does not entertain...I immediately get a message stating that VEDIC MATHS has been added for 3 months..Rs 183 per month. This is completely cheating customer...I am sad that though I have raised this complaint each and every time...it keeps happening to me...I hope the relevant authorities look into the same and ensure that this does not happen again.
