Subscriber ID: [protected] I received a call from Tata sky claiming that it is just to inform me of the new features available. After the call I received a message that Active Music has been activated on my account and a charge of Rs.59 has been deducted from my account. When I logged in to my account to deactivate the pack it says that there is a lock-in period of 30 days before I can drop the pack. This is clearly a case of fraud. They know that the user is likely to forget about the pack and they will keep on getting the money. It is quite irritating to see how brazenly the company is engaged in this kind of cheating. It is a blemish on a reputed brand like TATA. Actve Music - Monthly pack cannot be dropped as it is currently under a 30 days lock-in period till 27 Sep 2015 Please drop the Actve Music from my pack and remove the lock-in period of dropping any pack.

    After being paid recharge amount of Rs 1360 on 28 aug 2015 at 08:37 pm through mytatasky portal of tatasky . The amount is being deducted from my bank account at the same time . But on next day my services are deactivated .On calling to customer care firstly it is said to wait for some time and then saying to recharge again to get the services.

      TataSky, Please deactivate Everywhere TV on all my devices. If the Channels work properly on my TV is enough. Tatasky customer care sucks big time, as they do not care for customer issues, they only care about piling up packages to a user account. There is no option to deactivate this feature. Subscriber ID : [protected] If the customer service continues to be same in future, many customers will say Tata to the service.

        My id number is [protected]. there are 2 set top boxes connected to this ID. yesterday was the last day for renewal and payment of Rs. 12, 020 was paid through YOUR Tatasky website, from my HDFC bank account via net transfer. After making the payment i checked with my bank and the amount of 12, 020 was debited. Under normal circumstances i should have recd an instant message from TATASKY acknowledging my payment and confirming my renewal ... INSTEAD your helpline people informed me that I should call them and intimate them with payment details, only then will the renewal be activated .. (SERIOUSLY ????) Nevertheless, being the last day for payment I did that and i was greeted by a seriously outdated response from your SENIOR service advisor, "your transaction is pending and we will update u in 24 to 48 hrs" (WHAT ????) I requested the senior service advisor, a lady named Leela, that it would be unacceptable if my connection was disconnected on account of non payment because that was certainly not the case and if at all there was any doubt of payment not being made it was an internal inefficiency from TATASKY which is not MY problem. I requested her to record this complaint and she gave me a reference number 1-[protected]. I wake up this morning to find my connection deactivated. So i call your helpline, and again speak to a Jr attendant who then transfers me to a Sr service advisor Ms Vani who yet again informs me that my payment of 12, 020, although showing in the system from 27th Aug is still pending and hence my connections have been deactivated AND "your transaction is pending and we will update u in 24 to 48 hrs" . When i asked about my complaint to Ms Leela from the previous day with ref no 1-[protected], she was clueless. I then insisted that another complaint be registered and she then gives me JRRBZ6N AND says "your transaction is pending and we will update u in 24 to 48 hrs" Fantastic !!! In this day and age, this kind of inefficiency from a giant like TATASKY is unacceptable and raises questions on the financial conduct of the institution, as well as the pathetic, insensitive customer service and meaningless procedures followed. A. it appears that fake complaint references are generated to momentarily satisfy angry customers. If true, this must be dealt with firmly. B. At present, after paying my renewal fees (for 12 months) in time, my connections are disconnected. For this I demand a detailed explanation from TATASKY failing which such actions would be considered fraudulent, calling for suitable legal action to be initiated against TATASKY.

        Within two hours of marking a copy of this complaint to the CEO of TATA SKY i was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from the desk of the CEO, who instantly re - activated both my connections and assured me that the issues would be duly addressed and resolved in the coming week.

          Our tatasky ID [protected] TV went of on 21-08-15, saying kindly pay ur subscription, though we had paid subscription of full year ie Jan 2016, then after 100's of calls and Engineer vist 2 times they were finally able to resume our TV services on 16th Aug2015, now we are receiving no of sms for all kind of charges, though it should be other way round they should be paying the amount for 7 days they switched off the connection, and all the mental harassment we went through, of no fault from our side.

            Connection inthe name of Sandeep Mehta -[protected] I have a Primary & secondary connection of Tata Sky & was in Plan Dhamal Mix where by the monthly charges should be only Rs 470 per month in my account . 1.I had recharged my account for Rs 800/- in may, 600/-in June, July & August, Tata Sky has changed the plan arbitrarily without our request & kept debiting the account month after month for an Higher amount on asking for an account statement the customer care executive says he is not authorised & shall send a request fr mal of account statement which has not yet been received & also requested for reversal of the excess charged amount, but they have no satisfactory reply for the same . 2.One of the connnections has been deactiavted for the last 4 days saying it has to be recharged, after speaking to the customer care repeatedly today got the connection after sending an SMS RR to designated number, Requested for a credit of these 4 days of non operation of services the Customer care person says he will give the Line to a sr Executive who says shall raise a complaint & the concerned people will revert, no solution for the same

              Service bought on 03 Oct 2014 with 3 separate HD(One HD+ DVR, Two HD STB) boxes an investment of Rs 15652.00 upfront fees in cash through CC online transaction. Tata Sky ID: [protected] Mega Pack Premium 1 HD+ DVR, 2 HD boxes(ie. Total of 3 Set Top Boxes) = A suggested reading about future innovation in DTH space; businessinsider.in/This-is-the-scariest-chart-in-the-history-of-cable-TV/article show/48531566.cms Above will be Tata Sky future also in next 2 - 4 years horizon in India. = Aprox. two month(Jan 2015) after Set top Box installation I had requested Tata SKy that one of the HD boxes be converted into HD+ DVR box. Tata Sky told me that they will not "change" but I will have to buy a new box and yet also retain the HD box that is no longer o[censored]se to me. I was absolutely willing for Tata Sky to take back HD box and convert to HD+ DVR by paying price difference. They refused. In last 7 months(May 2015 & July 2015) new HD+ DVR box had to be replaced twice and both times re-furbished boxes were provided which stopped working within 3 weeks of installation. The warranty was offered was just for one year which means that I would be bearing cost for an expensive~ Rs[protected]not sure of exact amount) box that worked only for 6 to 7 months. After few conversations, Tata Sky refused to give a new box and threw back company policy at me. Tata Sky did not refund my money back for: Did not respond to email/calls./ tweets. Three HD boxes(even though they claim at beginning of service that it is owned by them). Customer agreement copy clearly states this. a. The Tata Sky team will not provide any invoice for the amount. b Online invoice will merely account for Service Package and not show the amount I pad for 3 Set Top boxes(1 HD DVR, 2 HD boxes= Total 3 boxes) Did not refund money for balance two & half months HD Mega Pack service(Multi TV - 3). CEO Office(Mr Manjunath, Manager CEO Office Tel #[protected] made incorrect commitments to set things right immediately within a day but did not have a courtesy to revert back. Feedback on Tata Sky; Tata Sky works on an unethical level. Customer service will provide wrong information on service as well as commercial T&Cs for various services including amounts. Happened during Karaoke service addition. Customer associate lied through teeth and later after significant trouble amount was refunded.(Initial service installation Oct 2014) Tata Sky de-activated service on 03 Aug 2015. In their billing system Tata Sky has noted de-activation date as 03 Aug 2015 and provided credit of aprox Rs 430. This did not take into account the Mega Service Pack with 3 Multi TV ie. aprox Rs 950 per month. To the Rs 430 balance they should have added Rs 950+ Rs 950+ Rs 475(for Two & half month fo balance service not utilized) Total Amount O/s against Tata Sky~ Aprox Rs 2805.(For Mega Pack Unutilized). They should have also taken back their equipment(3 set top boxes) since customer agreement clearly mentions that all equipment is their property, and provide a cash refund. Which Tata Sky did not show in account balance. Till now no one from Tata Sky has called despite my calling & emailing them several times to seek refunds. Have poor customer policies that work against customers. Will not provide invoices/bills for any equipment bought(set top boxes, microphone etc) and will claim that all equipment is owned by Tata Sky. Will not make refunds(the outstanding amount will be manipulated). Will show incorrect account statement. Poor customer service orientation. After close to 4 weeks, yet to respond ie. There has been no response at all. Pathetic IVR customer response system. Calls get dis-connected in between while speaking to supervisors. There is no record and call back facility for supervisor to call customer back to complete the conversation. Your calls will land up in different states of India and you will have to endure continuous repetition of the problem unnecessarily, wasting entire time & effort. In general highly disappointed, overall distasteful but avoidable experience, lost trust in Tata brand name. Felt that I have been cheated of my money that I paid in extremely good faith o[censored]sing the service for several years to come. RATINGS = I would have provided overall Zero rating, if available. Customer Service - Negative(Highly Unethical business practices and non-responsive) Picture & Sound - Excellent Tech innovation / new features - High Value for Money - Average to mid-high.

I had given at least 5 to 6 request to deactivate my both secondary connection from aug 12th but till today they have not done it and after recharge they deduct charges of three connection. I do not know what should i do.

                  My tatasky subscriber id as displayed on my tv monitor is [protected], but i am getting messages regarding multiple ids on my registered mobile.
                  I am unable to register my email id due to this conflict. Earlier on helpline the problem has been briefed during last recharge, but they informed it will be sorted out but so far no action been taken.

                    Tata Sky has harrased me a lot and incorrectly deducting amount and disabling the TV .. Below is the email Wrtten to them


                    "I am sorry to say this is lot of inconvenience caused to a PREMIUM customer, I have been hearing this charges has deducted on monthly basis . This seems to be your system problem that needs to be rectified The mutli TV SD box was already deactivated over the call from your team. I dont know how you guys have activated it again.. Why the customer has to call, I renewed this though IVR .

                    There should be a kind of compensation from your team i have been not able to view the TV, and have been going back and forth with you team on call. I all make sure if my voice is not heard will do negative publicity on social networking and will approach the consumer court for this."

                    There is no where written in the policy nor the customer care mentioned this that i need to call and tell this thats a recharge for year .

                    As on 10th Aug now i have recharged from 230RS for 1 HD TV for 1 month however it has been inactive now as on 25th Aug mentioned my other TV was active for which I had already complaint J40keje to deactivate hence amount was deducted.

                      I recharged as per mytatasky ac showing amount of 3400 for six months. after recharging i called them for updating my plan .. otherwise they will charge you per day basis and finish my balance in one-two month itself. First time i called executive told me that the amount is 3440 and i need to recharge another 40 rupees and said i cant help. After recharging 50 rupees again i called up, another person picked up and said no sir its now 3660. you need to recharge again. I asked them then why give wrong info in website and also by your colleague. he said will check and dropped the call. Called again, unfortunately i got the same person . he dropped the call immediately hearing my voice. Third time when i called again the executive said i am sorry you need to recharge and call. i cant help. Very bad behaviour by the executives. I dont think tata sky will prosper if they keep these junkets. Also i request tatasky to manage some other way of making money than looting customers like this.

                        Hello, I have purchased a tatasky dish tv product in the month of March and they have offered me Rs 1000/- voucher for Goibibo and Myntra respectively. After doing the followup with them several times they aren't able to provide me the resolution. I have send them the email and also called on the customer care. Everytime they send the new voucher code without reading the content in the email.                             Our connection of Tata sky is not working since[protected], inspite of continuous complaints and a vist of Engineer Sameer on[protected], connection is still not resumed, though the payment has been made till Jan 2016. There are no. of calls from Tata sky with same set of Questions, mentally harassing my aged parents who are senior citizen . I have sent complaints on email, every time I have been given a new complaint no. JP8B01V, JP9Fkb3, JQCY4EA, but the complaint is not being resolved.

Talked to Customer care no.[protected] with mr venu custom.mgr.on 11.08.2015 09.08.01 p.m. to enquiry details & told me that your a/c auto generated Active English ur amount rs.338.AGAIN[protected] AT 09.28.08 P.M &[protected] AT 09.28.42 P.M.{no complaint no has given several request} & told to stop the mal practice for salling the product unnecessary harassment to the coustomer I have each month statement which doesn't show this pack.                                   My tata sky id is [protected] .my monthly pack is Rs.260/- + HD Rs. 125/- Total Rs. 385/- . Now i got the sms in my regd mobile no. that the said monthly charge is changed to Rs.624 which is illegal.I have not add the Active pack, i.e. active cooking monthly Rs.59/-. I want to delete this active cooking .My monthly charge will be Rs.385/- as before.

                                    Sir my tata sky id is[protected] sir tata sky offer department call me and said that you recharge your account with 1360 then we give u annual pack for 1year without failure but after recharge they give me 6month pack after complaint to tata sky costumer care there is no response sir I have done 4 time complaint sir my humble request is ply solve the issue

                                      mera tata sky id [protected] (vikash kumar singh) hai..mera mobile no [protected] hai. mail id- [protected]@gmail.com july15 me mera setup box damage ho gaya. tecnition 2 days me 3 time setup box change kiye kyu ki setup box sahi nahi tha...mujhe one time visit charge ka amount dena hai lekin 2 time tecnition visit ka amount deduct kiye...agar setup box kharab hai to tata sky ka problem kai..mera nahi...custumer care par baat kiya too bolte hai ki amount return nahi hoga..so pls reply

                                        I have recharged my TATA SKY connection yesterday but today you have deactivated the Set top box and on calling you up your response was, the dealer did not charge the amount so we can't activate the Set top box. Now you are telling me go follow up with the dealer.My point is why should I run behing the dealer, it is your responsibility to look into it.
