    I am TATA SKY HD subscriber for 2 years. From past 4 days the the set top box is not powering on, with this regard have registered a complaint on 26/11/2013 at 1300 hrs. The customer support give a false assurance that the problem will be resolved with in 2 hrs, it be more than 120 hrs and the problem is not solved. Please do take my complaint, i want my subscription date to be extended for same amount of days, the tata sky people take to resolve. As i am not watching any television for past 4 days.       I have been facing issue with the dish since 2 months, whenever i put a complain there is no one who turns up. Two days back a field guy +91 [protected] comes to my place, looks at the dish and say i cant work on the dish and demands money. when i spoke to his senior Prem he threatens me saying i have to take a new dish and he will arrange wire separately from a shop and i need not let the company know. yesterday i put in a complain again, and today when the tata sky guy called to verify the address, after talking to me he hung up, when i happen to call back, he clearly says he has been instructed by his senior Pream not visit the place. guess tis Pream guy is a goon. Even his Jr said not to mess with him he has underworld connections. The previous dish was placed by the tatasky guys, then y cant this be checked, without even touching the dish how can one know the issue. really sorry to say but tatasky has gone to the dogs.

        My tatasky account has been hacked and many changes are made in my accounts without my prior permission...I am asking for all the transaction details/ ac changes/packages etc from 01/01/12 to 26/11/13, including ip logs, through which my account has been accessed. Tata Sky is not responding to my request and neglecting my complains, till now tata sky have not provided me the details that I have asked...it seem to me this is the most insecure DTH service, how can someone else access my a/c without my permission and expensive packages and new set top box are added to my a/c without my prior knowledge.           SIr/Madam, I Milind Y. Paranjape ( Subscriber Id - [protected] ) have been using tata sky services for last 5-6yrs and I have subscribed to yearly Grand Sports Pack. In first week of November 2013 BBC news channel was blocked. When I enquired with the customer care they suggested me to change my Set Top Box because Tata Sky changed the signal format to MPEG-4, where as actually I was entitled to view that channel till end of my subscription. As per their suggestion I accepted to change my Set Top Box to HD Box for Rs.990/- . The technician visited my residence and changed the same on 3rd November 2013 and said that New Software will get downloaded in few days. From the first day itself the new HD Box was having problem with its Sound/Mute function. When I press the mute function icon displays on the screen but still sound is on. Secondly whenever Mute button is pressed no icon is displayed on the screen but the sound is off. In both the cases to cancel Mute function I have to switch off the mains and then again restart the HD Box. These faults are intermittent and not a continuous feature. So I waited for the software to be updated under the impression that the problem will be solved, but it did not happen after the software update. I called the Customer Care on 14th November 2013. Technician visited the next day and did a Master Reset of the HD Box, and said the problem will get solved. But the problem continued. Again I complained on 23rd November2013. The technician visited and said they will replace the HD Box and I agreed to it. But when Technician came with a Swap Box(which is a repaired/used working condition HD Box) I declined to accept it. I called Customer Care on 26th November2013, they replied that " It is their Policy to Replace a Swap Box in Working Condition for a Brand New HD Box ". This a good way of selling a Old Repaired Box for the price of a Brand New One which implies nothing else than " Cheating The Customer " who doesn't have any Policy but the company has a policy to dictate their terms as and when it will suit the Company. And this has caused me a lot of mental harassment and monetary loss. I hope my problem will be solved at the earliest and to my satisfaction with a Brand New HD Box without any Fault.             Subscriber Id - [protected] I recharged the account balance approx. at 10.33AM. Despite this I got the alert on TV at around 12.05PM approx. that if not recharged, my connection will be deactivated. Spoke to Customer Care - Irfan at 12.09 for the clarification. As per it is due to technical fault and server problem but I am not satisfied. How the online details were updated if there was a server problem and technical fault. Again the customer care is not at all able to give the correct answer. This is second incidents of bad service in last week from Tata Sky. Please help.

              Customer Id:[protected] name :askaran gulechha I had given request not to activate any any kind of request given otherv than dhamal mix pack, but even after my request active games, cooking, and now everywhere tv is activated.And to my surprise everytime I call the support executive says nothing will be activated other than dhamal mix pack.And today I had a msg in the inbox stating for urgent payment, and when I called the helpline no. at 12.30--12.50, the executive spoke very harshly and told me to call from registered mobile no and on my continuous request that helpline can be called fron mtnl/bsnl no only, he refused to talk to me and kept me holding on call for more than 10min and I could hear his tapping on the system.This is the way to handle customer on helddesk, pl call me at [protected].

                Dear My ID- [protected] My Pack is Annual Grand Sports pack GRAND SPORTS 129 channels (view) Duration : Annual Price : Rs. 2000 Start Date : 05 Jun 2012 The above pack was renewed on 3rd June 2013 after a call from Tata executive with a new price for annual to Rs. 2300 and prev bal of Rs.40. So the total Rs.2340 was paid online. As per this the account is supposed to be active till 5th Jun 2014. I received a msg on Tata sky saying that my account is expiring and need to recharge. So I called up Tata and understand that they have received the payment but I had not called up again after payment to confirm!! so it is used as on daily basis. I asked them mail for same which i got it. "This is with reference to the Service Request reference number 1-[protected] As per your concern we would like to inform you that as you have Recharged your Account with Amount Rs.2, 340.00 on 03/06/2013 but as we did not received any call after recharging for renewal of offer pack also we have tried contacting you but as we are unable to reach you as the reason the offer pack is not activated in your Account and Amount got Debited in the Daily Basis." This is a pathetic way!! If i have paid online after the discussion why i need to call them back? There was no intimation given by them that i should call back after payment. I cannot see that option on online. Now they have discontinued my connection. Please help me to resolve this. Thanks Till date this is not resolved. (11/14)

                  I am one of subscribers for DTH services of Tata Sky, subscriber id [protected]. Due date for recharging was changed without notice from earlier 15th Nov. 2013 earlier to 10th Nov. 2013. As per the details during last recharge on 15th May 2013, Due Date for recharge was 15th Nov. 2013. This was conformed by Tata Sky through the SMS at 0010 hrs on 16th May 2013 and during the conversation with Customer Care Executive Sunny on 15th Nov. 2013 at 8.22PM. Customer Care service of Tata Sky is worst, wherein call is transferred to another executive without any information to customer as well as without communicating the concern. This has happened today i.e. 9th Nov. 2013 at 10.43 AM during the conversation with Rekha, who transferred the call to Jerusha without communicating my concern. No information on the website of Tata Sky about the contact details Nodal Officers as well as Senior Management.

                  Post Sale Service of TATASKY is not only hopeless but is highly dishonest as well, as cash amounts are often stolen from the prepaid amounts without knowledge of the customer.

                      My tata sky connection was having frequent disturbance so when called the customer care by his suggestion and guidance the reset was done and then my tata sky was completely gone and service was completely down for 4/5 days. The customer care then said thata visit needs to be arranged and i requested that as connection was down because device was reset as said by customer care person then they should arrange a free visit and they said that it will cost 150 rs. i repeatedly asked that if they can arrange free then please do else i do not want it. still the service person came and he did not even confirmed that 150 will be charged and he just moved the angle of dish by 2-3 degree and just left again without asking for 150 rs. then next day said amout was deducted from my account saying it to be on behalf of service charge. Repeated communication was done for days and hours but they did not even care to reply properly just keep repeating same thing that it was a chargeable visit thats it.I would like to add that Mr. Aamir khan should not bluff about the quality of service. Mr. Khan you get the money and we have to pay the money. ONe side you do big shows about the right thing then please look in to the complaints of the customers rightly

                          Hi All, On 27th I made mistake by calling tata sky to upgrade to tata sky hd box in rs 990 under the festive offer and i requested this to happen on 6th . The problem starts, my tata sky acct is charged with 990 the very same day and my tv has been shut down ( no tv to watch for past 6 days ) . since then I have been chasing tatasky to refund me the amount as the upgrade is suppose to happen on 6th Nov and the answer i got is that the amount will only be refunded back on 6th and till then I have to watch tv I need to pay 990 rs now for the upgrade. I requested them to cancel my tata sky subscription and since then no followups are being made by tata sky as I have made 7-8 call in last 2 days and all i get is fake commitments like sir you will be getting a call in next 2 hours or your amount will be refunded in next 4 hours but nothing is happening.

                            Sir, I am a subsriber vide id no.[protected], TATA Sky DTH connection and paying monthly subscription to Tata sky account. Now, from yesterday, I observe that set up box is not excess the waves, I called your customer care no, where they told me that visit charges for technical engineer to be borne by me. In this connection, it is stated that the set up box is controlling by Tata Sky, how, I will be responsible for that and why should I pay the money. Further, this is not a question of Rs.150/- but it is a question of that the while coller peoples are ditching with the citizen and grabing their hard money. It is requested kindly take criminal and civil action against them to cheating the citizen of India

                              Discontinuation of Tatasky Services: Subscriber ID[protected] which was being used at Anantapur. My father's very close friend who had picked up the connection almost 10years ago in Chennai relocated abroad 3-4 years back and had asked us to either use the service or discontinue it. Since then my friend who resides in Anantapur had been using it. There were numerous instances where the service was not working and calls made to the customer care helpline was of no avail. There was no response and help provided at all. We had also written for the old box to be exchanged for a new one and that was also not done. Now at this point of time we have already disconnected the services with immediate effect and given away the box to the junk person. NOC has also been given by my father’s friend. Despite all this communication too Tata Sky continues to bother us by sending regular mails of recharge. We don’t want to be associated with the Provider any more and don’t want to be disturbed in any form.

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                I would like to inform you that today I have placed through my registered mobile number on [protected] at 12:25pm and I was asked to give my preferable time for technician to visit. I told either visit around 5pm today or tomorrow morning but please call me before coming. I was told that concerned person will be visiting my place today by 4pm. So, I took the half day from my office office and came to my residence.
                                Around 4pm I received the call that the concerned person will be visiting at 6pm due to some problem but please come positively.
                                Around 6pm I again receive the call from ([protected]) that he will not be able to visit today and he will visit tomorrow morning. I requested please visit today as I took the half day and came. He told me will revert back in an hour.

                                But till now I haven't receive any call and when I again called him up, he simply disconnected the line by saying "I cannot help you, I did what I was told from my senior so you can register the complaint if you wish to"

                                I logged in through net and chatted through tata sky associate and that person also refused to lodge the

                                Now, I want the appropriate action needs to be taken against that person who has wasted my time and send me detailed report from your end about the above mentioned matter.

                                  Hi I have an annual subscription of tatasky and in this subscription tatasky provides free addition of any new channel and other free services like free relocation benefit, free 3-5 MOD in showcase and free technical support. now they have recently added the channel "Star plus premium HD Channel" and have not provided the same and asking money for this channel. i have followed up on the customer care and written back to THEM as well...no positive response. why do they want to cheat the customer, they can stop making false promises while giving annual subscription. Can any one help

                                  I thought other providers would be offering Star World Premiere HD for free in their annual HD Pack but all other DTH providers are charging the same amount for this channel. So I think the charge must be from the channel’s side and not from the DTH providers. They should atleast lower the price of this channel in future. Apart from the cost I think it is worth subscribing to this channel on tata sky as they are airing exclusive shows within 24 hours o[censored]S telecast and that too with no sub-titles.

                                    My Subscriber ID IS [protected] as a part of festive offer I was told I can exchange my existing SD box for HD box for just RS. 990 and also will get one month waiver HD fee I payed the money my HD box was also installed but its been three days i cant watch even a single HD channel, i called customer care several times and since 3 days they have been telling me it will be done within 2 hours its been more than 48 hours and no action taken i don't know why do they have such poor customer support service on top of that without asking they activated my actve music and chucked out 30 rs. extra they keep telling me it will be returned but to no avail, i call customer care and they say they r not comfortable in talking in hindi though tata sky states their customer care is trained in 30 different languages they even refuse to provide me with the complaint number i cant even write to a nodal officer tata sky's policy states that all signal problems will be solved latest by 48 hours but no action taken. very disappointed with their pathetic service they are fast to take money but poor in providing service. Feel cheated. X(

I am sure they will look into your matter, cover up for the days of loss and resolve your issue.
                                    Dear TATASKY active music, many times the Hindustani classical music is really great but feels incomplete because there is no information about the singer, the raga or the style .. The same goes for the other genre .
                                    Pleased devise some way of giving the ignorant but interested listener the knowledge concerning singer, raga and style .

                                      Hi I wanted to upgrade my existing normal tata sky plan (Subscription ID: [protected]) to HD plan, hence i called the customer care n registered my wish on Monday, 14th October 2013. The representative said a person from Tata Sky service center will visit you today at 4 p.m. and the amount was deducted from my tata sky account. Then i came to know that the address which is registered with the company is not correct and hence i got it changed soon after registering the complaint. Due to the address change, i again called the customer care to confirm whether the service center representative would visit me at the correct address and on the same time or not. I was told that you do not worry the person will visit you at the changed address at 4 p.m. But it did not happen. And since the amount was already deducted my services were deactivated. Irritated i again called them around 6:20 p.m. then i was given a complaint number( ) and the representative told that if possible today, otherwise at 10 a.m. the next day you will get a call from the mechanic and he will reach your place. Till date i have not received any call from anybody and nobody has visited me from Tata Sky. On making a call today i was further told that you will receive a call in the next 24 hrs. I want to ask that this is the kind of service that a brand like Tata Sky offers to its customers? And the people that are meant to help us are actually fooling their customers. I am very disappointed and have lost my trust in Tata Sky. Kindly look into the matter as soon as it can be and get things sorted.
