Ihad paid full amount for tatasky+hd of 6545 rs by credit cardon the date of 11-06-11.Being paid full amount they have not done the installation yet and i have been continiously following them for the installation but they dint showed the intrest in my case.Since last sunday i have talking to their Seniors there names as respectivly Atul, Santosh,Bhupen,Suchitra All are Supervisors of pune tatasky.
I have completly frosteted every time i have follow up to them and they just say tommro it will done but it dosent. so kindly look into my matter urgently

Dear Team,

Kindly inform you that, last 2 years we have used Tata sky in South West Delhi, 110037.
Last Friday, the no signal option in our T.V screen, there is no another option showing.
I have wait for one day for signal issue & then complaint in customer care, they said, your showing address is Orissa, First you have -relocation & then provide the service & we have also take chargs.250.We have agree with them, but till date we have not get any service. Every day we have called to customer care 5to7 times, but no response till time, every day we have get message today resolved.

not getting services properly...only selected channels are getting signals!imp.channels like news channels are giving message no signal all time
for the past three hours i have been get a message on my TV on tata sky that no service is available due to bad weather ... which is rubbish i am in goa and it is avery clear nite ... help lines to tata sky recorded message only say the line is busy this has been going on for the last three hours

Tatasky consumer complaint system is bad. You can not get through to their complaint number. Response is equally bad.
Service is bad. Further there is a lot of confusion between normal and HD service channels.
It should be either all HD service or all normal service
Since recharged on 11.03.15 not a single channel is appearing
Kindly arrange to solve the problem earliest
My ID is [protected] and I live in Indiranagar, Bangalore. I haven't had any reception on my News Channel since yesterday. Maybe it's the same story with other channels. I followed instructions and send the sms complaining of no service yesterday. I received a sms reply giving my work order no.[protected], again yesterday. It said I will be contacted for a technician visit. That has not happened so far. It is impossible to get through on any of the numbers given by you. What is one supposed to do? This is the second time this has happened in the last couple of months.
I am seriously considering to ask you for a refund and switching to another operator. The service from Tata Sky has been atrocious.
Please take immediate action. Otherwise i will have no recourse except to approach the Consumer Council, as well as cancel my Tata Sky subscription.

I have not been receiving full tatasky services for the past 5 days, only some channels are available. As communicated, i had sent an sms to the number given. I had got a message stating that the technician will call, fix up an appointment and come to fix it. It is 5 days now, while I keep getting messages, no one has come yet.
I had tried calling up to complaint, but have been kept waiting for over 5 minutes with no response on many occasions today.
I would like to get my problem fixed and also register a complaint at a higher level regards the pathetic service.

Hi, I am A.M.Babu. My Tata Sky ID is[protected] . I have recharged SD channels pack. There has been no service from Tatasky from past 3 days and despite contacting their customer care numbers there has been no response from them. Please look into the request immediately.

Despite numerous complaints Tata Sky has failed to rectify the above problem. They have issued two WO NS[protected] and WO:HHJ678H. Both are pending and their promises to complete the said jobs are not yet effected.
It would be a miracle to get them on phone and on chat you are in line 34.
Senior Citizens like us cannot do anything but be at their mercy since subscription is taken already in advance and we cannot go to another provider. I wonder how a name like TATA can be associated with such rubbish service. Contacted their Mumbai number and was told to lodge another complaint. Extremely deplorable and useless service by Tata sky
Sir, my tatasky id#[protected]. I gave NO SIGNAL complaint on 2nd April. They sent a sms with complaint no NS[protected] and it is scheduled on the same day evening. Again, sent a message stating that, my work order completed and charges are 170/-. . AND ALSO DEACTIVATED MY ACCOUNT. NO TECHNICIAN ATTENDED MY COMPLAINT IN REALITY. AGAIN I TRIED TO CONTACT. BUT RECEIVING SMS AS DEACTIVATED ACCOUNT. PLEASE RECHARGE. I don't know what to do. Whether someone will come and solve my problem or not? Tatasky people are advertising, no charges for this NO SIGNAL services. I have no TV since all these days. David.

I am writing this with reference to your Tata sky service last 1.0month I am unable to watch your service properly.
Before 1.0 month I launched a complaint via SR[protected], SR[protected] that time your service Engineer came and check and told me the service was affected due to satellites problem. After 3-4 days your service continue without HD channel after few days HD channel problem solve.

Now from 3rd April I am unable to watching your Service today 11th April-15 and I got your message you gave me three days reliever (extend 3 days).

1. Total -18 days I am unable to watch HD channel.
2. Total-13 days I am unable to watch your proper service.(watching few channel 10-15nos)
3. Total-3days nothing watched.

My customer id no [protected] and there are no services for last 8 days and there is no solutions being offered . neither customercare nor any engineer is reachable . everytime we get the same reply to SMS stating that "your request is allocated to our Tata sky engineer who will contact you shortly " . really dont know what does shortly mean ..no one has contacted us for last 8 days ...This is not acceptable level of service . pls let me know when get this issue is resolved with a definite timleine . If this is not resolved soon, am happy to surrender my connection . pls..
My Tata Sky Dish TV Connection (Id [protected]) is not working since 3 Apr. My first complaint was made on 4 Apr & since then I have made numerous calls, SMS on 56633 & EMails. I am yet awaiting a Engineer. Top of all this on 10 April an engineer visited from Tata Sky, he broke cable instrument & never returned. Engineer confirmed that he will be back in 10 minutes but never returned. Its painful to call on [protected]. it takes at least 25 minutes for executive to come on phone and these guys easily disconnects calls without any resolution. Now I dont want any service from Tata Sky Ltd. I just want refund of my money which is balance in my account which is around Rs.900/- Plus I want refund of amount paid during installation and Set top box charges because Tata Sky Ltd is incapable of providing service in spite of repeated attempts from my side. This is immense mental trauma in following with Tata Sky Ltd.

Customer care is just soft spoken without effective result for services.

I have opened a complaint, through Phone.The phone staff abused us stating that there will not service for a month and still asked us to recharge.We recharged the amount and still, there is no service.

I opened a complaint through Online, the issue is set as resolved, witoout resolving or any intimation.

There is no service for a month and we are fed up of this, worst attitude and your incapability of providing service.
We have paid the recharge amount, and it is waste.
Everytime, someone will tell the issue will be reolved and issue is not at all resolved.I am fed up of this worst service.

Not getting Tata sky services since last 3 days. After more than 48 hours of complaint and repeated reminder calls to Tatasky helpline, no call received by any technician to attend the complaint. Everytime they say, we are now putting your complaint in high priority / urgent category and technician will come soon. But two complete days have passed. They are not even able to tell the reason for this delay. No update/ information is provided to customer. Cannot even rate 'poor service' since there is NO SERVICE AT ALL.

    My subscriber id id [protected].Not receiving signal on tatasky.. almost since 1 month now.. Complained on there customer service 3 times... 23 May , 12 June, But problem is not solved.Again i just called up customer care with some hope on Firday( 17 June) .. I was told that since i am a premium coustomer they would solve my problem by saturday.. on saturday i get a call , technical person would visit my place by sunday.. Sunday evevning , i complain again.. then i get a call back saying monday morning some one would visit my place.. no one turns up. Monday evening i call up , since no has still visited my place .. please note.. i have made atleast 30 -35 calls.. each on 10-20 mins ( as they keep you on hold). .. This is how Tata sky is givng there services to there premium customers...
    Pathetic Service , pathetic technical team... .. Pathetic customer care...

      My connection is having problem with distorted picture and no signal. Complained to Tatasky. A service technician was sent from Chennai in the afternoon who within a few minutes restored the service. He literally ran away in his motorcycle without explaining the problem and before being called back again. Within a short period the same problem started. For this 2minute job Tatasky has charged Rs.125/-. Wihout solving the problem why I have been cheated. Should I stop the service though it will not make any difference to the provider as there will be enough opportunity to cheat others. I think all should refrain from DTH service specially Tatasky and better to switch over to cable service provider.

      TataSky — Charged me for package i didnt request

      Hi,

      I am subscribed to tatasky service.On 2nd March'2009, they added a package "Gold Package" to my account without my consent. I emailed them on 3rd March asking about the same.
      On 4th I received a call from Tatasky saying they added it to my account since I requested the same through their automated voice system.

      I nor any of my family member called for the service to be added.Now tatasky is saying they can cancel the package effective immediately but I still have the pay the charges for the 2 days the service was active.

      I am not happy since i never requested the same so why should i pay for it? This is simple cheating as you add the package and when asked to remove it, tatasky charges the customer.

      They should have a process to verify any request before any package is added (like calls coming from registered phone#s etc

      Tata Sky — Cheating and Poor service to the customers

      I have activated semi annual Package on the tata sky for the following details:
      Sub ID# [protected],
      Last transactio was on 22/07/09.

      The major reason to take up this pkg was of Colors channel. However, i am not able to see the same at all.The quality of the signal is extremely poor.

      Inspite of calling the customer care (?) executive multiple times and inviting some of the (so called) engieers, which costed me hundreds of rupees, the issue is still unresolved.

      The recent talk with customer care executive demanded Rs 350/- to be paid as charges to see and understand the problem.
      This, infact, should be a part of the service to the customer, for which the customer has already paid.

      The misleading information like Digicomp box may be faulty and needs replacement indicates possible fruad, as other channels are seen, hogh with poor signal quality.

      I request the authority to take it up on priority and provide justice to the troubled and cheated customer.

      There could be a possibility that the digicomp may require replacement. The cost is not predetermined. There must have been some communication error which shifted your choice. I too have replaced my digicomp and I was charged onlt for hardware Tata Sky is a good brand with attractive package.

      TataSky — Tatasky's poor customer care

      Hi,
      Am an annual subscriber of base pack[south jumbo], and other add-on packages like lifestyle gold & cosmo pack also paid annually. due to poor response at customer care end, i told to cancel the service and later i told to re-activate the service. now they are asking all my money gone and i have to repay everything from now onwards.
      I dont feel it was management issue, its purely wrong technology given to wrong people[customer care]. Management need to look into this issue.Else lots of customer to face the same.
      Spoken to lots of people and they feel they are god and customers are animals.
      anybody who gone court for this kind of service provider can help me to crush them.

      I am also a victim of similar nature. An active learning package is continuing to my account without my consent which was innitialy added as a free package.

      TataSky — They do not provide the right information and make the customer pay

      I have many issues but I would like to point two of them where they misbehave and do not help.

      1) On 2nd Nov 2009, I have raised a request for the transfer of my TataSky. I was told that the charge of Rs 350 will have to beared by the customer. They also asked me to carry the setup box. I happily agreed. Now when the engineer came in to do the transfer they told me that since I did not carry the Disk, I will have to pay Rs 1000. I argued but they just had one line that the customer has done a mistake and they can not help. I went and took the disk, and after 2 days again they came back and this time they said that I will have to pay for the cable. When I asked for the reason they say "its company policy". I raised a complaint to TataSky about this and asked for a refund for the cable charges. After many followup, they called me once and the lady said that that it is the policy. When I said that I already had the long cable earlier and I have paid 1300 rs as Installation, why did not you guys used the same cable. They only have points like the new cable is of better quality but when I was okay with the previous quality why should I want a new one. Then they said they will not re-imburse the money and that is all.

      So, I ended up paying twice for the cable. Once, when I took the connection initially and second time when I did the transfer.

      Also, when I recently asked to drop a package, they lied saying that they do not have permission to drop the package and a rquest will be raised and a special team will call in 24 hours for this. When 24 hours was over I called up again and this time they said they will do it now. What a lier they are.

      I want to fight against them in consumer court, can you tell me where can I lodge a complaint. I am in Pune.

      i got my conection on last monday on 20th dec. the lady Vijeta who took the request promised me that connection would be done within 48 hours. butr i gave her date on 24th for installation.

      today in the morning i called up to find out 1st person promised me that sme1 senior wud call it didnt happen, nexct it was gaurav who promised that within 2 hours sme1 will call it didnt happen.
      after 2hrs i called up again to speak to amit, who seem to understand my frustration i had demand
      1. give me compensation or
      2. pay me back my money for delay right away or
      3. get a set top box from local dealer and give me connection right away, he said that he cant honor any of my demand he put the line to Ms vandana, who promised me that by 4pm 2day sme will call and resolve the issue. which didnt happen, when i called up at 4:20pm i was transferred to Ms Anita who banged the fone without hearing my complain.
      later some other lady promised me that my connection would be disconnected the no. was 1-[protected].


      i want to understand
      1. why do you promise if you cant deliver
      2. why your people run away from client who are upset
      3. do you think you are making TATA's very proud??
      Sir,Kindly refer to my mail of dated 15/09/2011 furnished below, it is very true that tata sky is totally failure, have no care for their customers. I am facing problems again simlar to earlier problem occurred in Sep.2011. Now another HD set top box has been stopped working. Engineer of Tata sky had visited on 19/11/2011 and could not set the things right due to non availability of HD box with tata sky as usual. My previous comments stand good. Thanks for the hopeless service.

      Sir, Tata sky is very hopless. Services are very poor. I am having three set top boxes. Out of one is not working since 12 days. The box has been replaced three times but failed to perform. Tata sky people are making BAHANE as boxes are not availabe in their stock. Being a old customer I am paying Rs 6000/- per year excluding rent of boxes i.e, Rs.480/- pm. for comlete channels. But no attention is being paid by Tata sky. Thanks for the poor service.
      Tata sky is befooling customers by way of showing bonus on recharge etc. Basically, the company is charging very high amount for which it do not deserve since not providing services. Hopeless.

      I am a subscriber. Tatasky have a service 'Helpdesk' where you can complain with online-chat. But it seems they have programmed it in a way that if you are first-time connecting to Helpdesk, you get through. Since later on you get the message
      "Thank You for contacting us. We are unable to address your query right now. Please register your query on the New Request form on our website, and we will get back to you"
      to get rid o[censored]s, it seems. I am interested to add Neo Sports for EURO 2012. I filled in the form, but to no avail. Complaint nos. SR[protected] & SR[protected]. 36 hours & Still they have not started the channel.
      You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. There must have been some problem with their servers I suppose, they will check what caused problem in connecting to the helpdesk. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and help you out in adding Neo sports.
      I, M.Kirupakaran, residing in Chennai is a customer of TATASKY for the past two years. TATASKY Id. [protected]. In the first year I opted for Mega pack which is annual pack. I kept receiving unwanted alerts on my TV screen and I kept on requesting TATASKY to stop these alerts but in vain. Finally when TATASKY approached me for renewal (which was due on 29.01.2012) I told them then unless they stop all alerts on my TV, I am not interested to renew. Immediately TATASKY said that they will stop all alerts. I asked TATASKY to confirm the same through mail and TATASKY sent a mail to me on the same day, 29.01.2012. Immediately on the same afternoon I sent the payment of Rs.5,500/- towards Megapack, based on their promise. But to my shock the alerts kept coming. Whenever I called the helpline, they invariably gave some excuse like from now onwards you will not receive any alerts, previous person had stopped only the mobile alerts and only I stopping all alerts, previously had not removed the select button for stopping the alerts and now I am deselecting and definitely you will not receive any alerts and so on. But the alerts never stopped. In between I had heart attach and underwent angioplasty and it is really tiring to correspond with them. Because TATASKY do not answer to mails through mail, but only makes a call and gives false promises. If I ask them to send a mail they say, " we are not authorised to send mails and you send mail to receive reply", and I will not receive any reply through mail. Now after one year, TATASKY is announcing that they will not stop any alerts.

      We customers pay money only to watch the clear picture and not to watch the picture along with an YELLOW ENVELOP (in addition to their logo) which prompts us to read the alert and there is no delete option without reading those alerts. Some times the delete option is not available even after reading the alerts. If I had been told the truth in the first place, I would not have paid the fee. After one full year they are accepting that they have neither stopped the alerts nor intend to stop. I request you to do justice and ask them to return my money.

      On 26th Mar 2013 late evening the TataSky set top box started downloading latest software. The Download never completed the download even after 2hrs, so I called up the customer care at around 11.30PM.

      The next few days nobody contacted from Tata Sky, so called up again on 30th Mar 2013, I was shocked to hear from the customer care that the complaint was not registered so i asked them to register a complaint. I was told a technician would visit my place and he would call me up before coming to my place. at this stage I was not informed by the customer care executive about the charges. After this I immediately checked my TataSky account and I got the second shock, the daily amount was being deducted from my tatasky account even though I was unable to view any channels or packages.

      On 1st April 2013 one of the TataSky technician came late in the evening to my house and checked the set top box and told me he has to replace the box but he does not have it right now with him and he would return back tomorrow. The next day he came and replaced the box and found the adapter is not matching with the new set top box pin and he has to replace the adapter and it would be charged seperately.

      So after this I was able to view channels only for 1 day and I received a call from customer care on the fix, I told them to revert back the charges from the period 26th March, 2013 to 1st April, 2013 which the cc executive reverted after a long heated argument of around Rs 65.

      One day passed and I got another shock when my balance in the tatsky account showed a negative balance of Rs.442, I immediately called the customer care again and I was told the following are the charges

      Rs.225 for set top box
      Rs.150 for Service charges
      Rs.125 for Adapter replacement

      I told them that why I was not informed about these charges before fixing they had no answer and why they did not raise a complaint immediately when I called them on 26th March 2013. I refused to pay any service charge at that point for poor service provided and the adapter which I originally had was working fine and the technician had to change as it did not match the set top box.

      Finally on 6th April morning I called the customer care again to cancel the connection and refund any amount applicable at the time of returning the set top box, I was told that backend team would get back to cancel the connection.

      Nobody called till 7th April 2013 afternoon and I called them back to process the cancel request, the customer care executive said he will forward my call to a supervisor to speak to him. The supervisor told me to recharge for 450 or 500 to reactivate the account as it was deactivated due to low balance and in order to revert back the charges I have to recharge the account, to reactivate and to revert back the charges. The supervisor assured that the following charges would be reverted back as follows and some one would call me from tatasky to update the same

      Rs. 150 for service charges
      Rs. 125 for adapter
      5 days of viewing period from 26th March to 1 April 2013

      the following would be deducted from account Rs 225 for Set top box for replacement

      However, when I received a call the same day 7th April 2013 I was shocked to hear that only Rs 150 for service charges would be reverted back and the rest of the charges would be still applicable and it would be deducted, by this time I had already recharged the account with Rs.450

      I would not only like to get back the money I recharged and cancel the connection I would like a complete refund of the initial security deposit.

      They are charing 6000/- per year but their service is not good. For my call not getting singnal on saturday, no body attended until now. When I am calling to help desk those people will reply in a pleasent way but I am not getting service. Even I raised one request to deactivate my service for that also they are not responding.

      Am facing the problem of poor technical service from your team, my above system was used at my native palace in chikmagalore district of karnataka.
      My complaint is, after my every recharge am not able to view the TV due to technical problem &amp;amp; after calling to your team they will say your set of box is not under warrent &amp;amp; you need to pay visit charges of Rs 150 !!!
      This is my 3rd payment like this ... Why such bad quality set boxes are used by the TATA SKY ? Why i need to pay Rs 150 for every month ?

      Due to Hudhud cyclone came to Visakahapatnam, A.P. my Disc has been broken on 12.10.2014 and I have reported to Tata Sky Customer Care on 15.10.2014. But till date there is no improvement yet.
      I regret to say you that your service is being poor day to day in our locality.

My set top box stopped working on 21.10.2014 and I made a complaint to M/s Tatasky immediately. I had informed the person who attended to my call that instrument is a HD recording type device. On 22nd a boy showed up looked at the device and told me there is some electrical problem and it will have to be replaced and promised to do that between 10-11 pm. But he never showed up or make any calls. Calls made to his number on that day and the next day were not attended to or rejected. Since then I had been making complaints to M/s Tata Sky every day. They give me standard reply that they apologize for the inconvenience caused and promise that it will be resolved on priority. Nothing happens.Yesterday someone from their Bhandup facility called me and told me that such set top box is not readily available which I believe is a lie since M/s Tata Sky heavily advertise this type of device. I am a senior citizen and depend heavily on TV for news, entertainment or simply to pass time. I always pay the subscription fee in advance for one year. I chose Tata Sky over others because of the TATA brand name.Today i.e. 28th Oct I again contacted them online and the person who attended (Mr. Grandhi) told me that the visit has been fixed on 26th at 15.30! This shows their attitude. I am forced to make the complaint since I feel they are callous and their service is lousy. I hope that they will redress my problem.

      9th march to 13 march as well. Many times i have complained on toll free

      assured the solution of problem in next couple of hours OR 24 HRS OR 48

      I bought new tata sky connection 3days back but the same is not working from yesterday. I am given false commitment from supervisors and employees of tata sky..i am very much frustrated with the service of tata sky.there is nobody to take care of the unsatisfied customers. Its really shamefull.if the same is not resolved in a day i will go tp consumer forum and file case against tata sky.
      I am extremely disappointed with Tata Sky services. I am waiting for a Tata Sky service person to visit us since a week. My first complaint (WO IB61A80) was closed as completed without even contacting us and when complained to the call center a new request (WO IBQHZXO) was created. However, in spite of contacting them and their higher authorities multiple times a day (listen to the recorded call center conversations if needed), the service date time is getting moved without anyone reaching us. This is the worst experience that I had with any company. I have paid a large advance that is not getting refunded even if I try to close the connection now. Wanted to also keep you aware that I had a similar frustration last month when one Tata sky person called me and forcibly changed my package in spite of saying &quot;No&quot; to his request multiple times.         My set top box of my Tata Sky has been giving trouble for some time. The green light on the box does not come on. On 13th June, 2011 I made a complaint and requested Tata sky to send their technician to the house on 15th June,2011 at 2 p.m. or thereafter. I waited till 6pm and no one came. When I phoned Tata Sky I was told that my appointment was rescheduled to June 16th at 11am. No one bothered to inform me about the change. it was only because I phoned that I was told about the change.
        the technician who was supposed to come today at 11am phoned me at 3.30 pm to enquire if he could come. since today was not convenient I told him not to come.
        I also requested Tata sky to put a hold on my account balance till my set top box is repaired.

          I am an existing customer of Tata sky. I paid Rs. 3999 for the installation of Tata Sky +HD set top box through online payment in advance. Now the engineer comes home and tells me that i need to pay Rs. 500 more for a switch which has to be installed at my house. When i contact the Customer Care they tell me that money cant be refunded, so i have left helpless. Very poor services, i dont know what should i do???

          Im really fed up with this DTH(Tata Sky). We need to pay 535 Rs. per month to view all 160 channels. But here(in my locality) cable operators charge rs. 150 for 160 channels and I[censored] need set top box they charge only Rs. 600 including installation. In tata sky always the introduce new package but same channels. Even i have enquired a lot of people about other DTH they say other DTH are better than Tata sky.Before customers leave tata sky TATA need to think about it
          we agree. it is vry expansive.

            failure to repair set top box on more than 30 complaints

            Tata Sky — Digicomp defect

            I am subsciber of tata sky and using the same for past 3 years. With in a period of past 1 year i have replaced the defective digicomp 2 times. The current digicomp which i am using automatically goes off and after some time goes on ie. the red & green buttons behave automatically on & off. when i called tata sky they told me that warranty is not there anymore and i will be charged extra Rs. 350/-. I asked them within 6 months the digicomp is not working properly and they must not charge since this is a manufacturing defect and more over every 6 months the digicomp is getting replaced...there is clearly lack of quality in the digicomp.

              Sir,
              No compensation has been received from Tata Sky against my complaint. My wife was in in the hospital and suffered for no fault of her and the culprit is roaming Scot free. The total expenditure on her treatment till now has come to more than Rs. 80,000/-

              I have Tata sky connection consumer no.[protected]. It was not working. On 9th of may my son complained to customer care center at 1.29 P.M. Complained registered with customer care center for its repair. The above named executive contacted my wife at her mobile number [protected] several time at 6.00 pm she was near Mewar institute, Vasundhra, Ghaziabad on way to her home at 2B/606, Vasundhra, Ghaziabad. My wife was on rickshaw and he (Gaurav) mobile number [protected] pulled the hand of rickshaw puller and dragged him with my wife sitting on it. My wife and rickshaw puller both refused him not to do so but he forcefully pulled the hand of rickshaw puller. Rickshaw overturned. Rickshaw puller bled profusely as told by my wife and my wife was injured and got multiple fracture in her wrist (hand). She was taken home by some passerby and got first aid and directed to hospital for further investigation/Treatment. She was taken to Yashoda super specialty hospital, Kaushambi, Anand Vihar, Ghazibad by my brother- in- law and taken to causality and X-rayed. The doctor told us that she has broken her wrist bones radio ulna to be precise. She was operated next day by Dr. Devender Dave and plate was fixed on her wrist. I paid Rs. 14,000/- For fixation of plate and deposited Rs. 50,000/- With the hospital she was in the hospital for five days upto 13th of may. Estimated expenditure on her treatment till now is more than Rs. 80,000/- and still she is not able to do her daily house hold work. A case of MLC has been registered with Indra Puram police station, Ghaziabad. No action has been taken against service executive of Tata sky. An FIR has been lodged against him at Indra Puram police station under milder section of IPC and got bail next day. Strict action should be taken against Gaurav for causing injury to my wife as well as rickshaw puller who is unknown/Unidentified. No one from Tata sky came to my home to inquire about the condition of my wife neither we got any compensation from Tata sky.

                I booked Tata sky HD set top box on 10th May. Tata sky has not installed the set top box even after continuous followup then I decided to cancel it. I have 6204 rupees for set top box and one year subscription by credit card.

                I have cancelled tata sky connection ([protected]-subscribe number) on 20th may and got a confirmation #1-[protected] against cancellation/Refund. Tata sky customer care executive mr charan told me that I will get my money back to credit card in 10 working days but its not happened. I again called tata sky customer care department and tata sky had told me that it will take 10-15 working days and I will receive call from tata sky for the same now today is 22th working day, not received any single call from tata sky.

                I dont know what to do now.. please help me in getting my money back.

                  I recharged Rs500 on June 3rd 2011 to bring my balance to over Rs 525. I have a grand pack of Tata Sky Packages. On June 6th, my balance dropped to less than Rs.50. When I called them they said they have lodged a ticket and will call me back in 24 hourts. No calls. I called again June 7th and I was told someone will call me in 12 hours. No calls. I called again June 8th and I was told someone will call me in 4 hours. No calls. Again I called on June 9th and someone told me I will get a call in 10 minutes. No calls. I called again on June 11th and was told I will get a call from billing team in an hour. I got a call from a billing representative saying that I was overcharged in November of 2011 and for that they are charging me now! I am not able to validate this but I question this. But I was not informed by any Tata Sky rep of the overcharge. I neither got a call nor got any notice on that. Again I never got any information (email, call or letter) to inform me that they are charging me in June 2011 (nearly 7 months after that fact) for what hapenned in Nov 2010.
                  Are the customers being taken for a ride? Why are we at the mercy of ludicrous service companies like these? I feel cheated as I have no means of verifying what they are saying.

                    I am customer of Tata Sky residing in Mumbai/Pune. I have this DTH for last 4 years in Mumbai. Except for once instance where Tata Sky had charged me exhbordinatly for fixing something from their end. But, this was almost 2 years ago and they had right fully refunded the amount.

                    Today, 9th June 2011, I again face with a severe concern.

                    In Pune Bavdhan a residential complex called Zinnea uses Tata Sky as their single DTH provider. Assuming Tata Sky do provide good service and have good reputation we had recommended for the same. Tata Sky did the initial installation in the building and I believed everything was fine until the following incident.

                    4th June 2011

                    I purchased a set top box from Tata Sky last saturday 4th June 2011.

                    5th June 2011

                    No call from Tata Sky. Nothing happened the whole day. I followed up with Tata Sky and scheduled the installlation.

                    6th June 2011

                    The installation process started on Monday 6th June 2011 (I expected such a small matter like installation would have happened with 24hrs). Till Monday afternoon the so called technicians who had arrived at our place were unable to install. They identified that the problem should be in the Central dish on the terrace. This means the entire building was blacked out.Assuring a quick resolution the engineer went away.

                    7th June 2011

                    Nothing happened. No one turned up. (quick service !!!)

                    8th June 2011

                    After followup for several times someone turned up at 7 pm on Wednesday 8th June. He went away saying he doesnt have the right apparatus (!!!) to do the job. I informed about this to Tata Sky call center. They assured a senior engineer will be at our place by 10am sharp ... :)

                    9th June 2011

                    Someone turned up early morning (!!!) by 11:45 am. Not an engineer the same person who had come the day before. Since there was electrical outage at that time he went away promising will return. We informed when the electric supply restored. He worked on something and tried a couple of things. No luck till now. I have informed about this to Tata Sky call center. Hopefully something should work. Tomorrow I plan to return the set top box and move to some other DTH service. We would discuss this in out residents forums about shifting the entire service to some other provider.


                    Also, I need to check if I can turn off the DTH service at my Mumbai residence.

                      Tata Sky — Excess charging for service

                      Sir/Madam,
                      My subs ID is [protected] and I had recently relocated and had informed the TATA SKY for reinstallation of my connection. I paid Rs. 600 for relocation. Within 10 days there was no signal .I registered the complaint withTatasky and they again deducted the service charges of Rs.350 .I called customer care but they said that the dish must have been moved by wind or storm. There was no storm nor any speedy winds. All the dishes of the surrounding area are working fine. I feel the technicians must have loosely fitted the dish in the first visit for which Tata sky is not agreeing. Please refund my service charges.

                          I am very disappointed by the services provided by TataSky.
                          I had shifted to a new Flat on 11/6/08, and had requested for an installation of TataSky connection at our new place, on 10/6/08 Evening.
                          Today it is 15/6/08, and no one has come to our place to install the dish.We have been waiting for 5 days now.
                          Everyday when I phone to the customer helpline I am told that my complain cannot be attended and has been postponed for next day.
                          What nonsense is this going on.
                          Every time I am provided with a new request number and thats all, nothing is done.

                          I want immediate action, or I will go to Consumer Forum and discontinue the services.
                          I also want the 5 days balance added back to my account .

                          Also, now it is not possible to get connected to any of your customer care people through phone as we are getting a recorded message with regard to Tata sky plus and I am sorry to say this is not done - how do you expect your customers to get through to HELP DESK? Is this RIGHT? The Customer Care Division should always be ready to take calls and talk to people. This is very frustrating.

                          Please see that the service is restored immediately.
                          I have not been receiving service since the 19th of May. We logged a complaint at 4pm and we were told that we would be provided with service within 24 hours. Its 21st May today yet no one has come.
                          There are 5 flats in our apartment who have this same issue & on their behalf we logged a complaint. When we call the engineer he told us that he will be coming within sometime but till now hasn't received.
                          Also, we got a rude response when we said we'll complain to the head office he says we may go any heights he doesn't bother. Is this the way to behave with a customer? I have four connections in my house.
                          We believed in & we get this. Its just no way to deal with customers like this.

                          Its a curse to have tata sky because of its bad service & behavior. I am highly disappointed. Its better to have cable connections at least when we need help they are there within 2 hours. Tata Sky needs more than 72 hours or may be more than that.

Inspite of frequent and regular followups, the customer service personnel and the technicians are taking us for a ride first by saying that someone will visit soon and then no one finally turns up! Al lwe get to hear is that there is a shortage of digicomp boxes. How about new users? Does it mean no new users for TataSky? Why? I would urge TataSky to fix it urgently. Also due to the inconvinience caused to us due to disruption of services and due to the frustation, the amounts deducted should be credited to our account.
                          I just got a call from a customer service rep when I was writing this & the same story seems to be getting repeated. Anyway, I'll see what changes this time, so TataSky - your countdown begins, again!!

                              I had subscribed to a Long Duration Pack of TATA SKY.
                              I paid Rs.1760 for one year subscription to New Economy Pack.

                              Issue is that they have dropped Set MAX channel from this pack without authorization.
                              I don't know how many other important channels they have dropped from this pack.
                              Now if I want to add this channel then I have to pay Rs.16 every month additionally.
                              This is unfair trade practice & that too from a reputed brand like TATA. Please guide.

                                Tata sky DTH cost Rs.999.00 + installation charges Rs.200.00 paid on line through credit card on 17.05.2011. They have confirm it will take 7 working days, but regreat to inform till date they have not installed despite several phone & follow up.                                 Tata Sky — No Service given despite of repeated complaints

                                My Tata Sky ID is [protected]. My Digicomp is not receiving & despite of repeated complaints to tata sky customer service no engineer has turned up. I have raised 3 complaints so far on 3 consecutive days & am fed up with the similar reply of "our engineer will call you in 2hours" but nobody calls.                                   I paid Rs.9300.00 & Rs.2599.00 on 20/04/2011 for multi tatasky DTH Service connection at my house at Salt Lake, Kolkata-700091 . Tatasky people installed the services on 21/04/2011 with hazy picture service . Since then they have sent 7 tecnicians on various dates to rectify the defects but failed . As more than one month have lapsed for tatasky to provide proper DTH Service to me after they installed the connections I demanded refund of payments & withdrawal of improper service . But now they stopped evev acknowleging complaints.

                                    Tata sky is one of the most inefficient service providers that i have come across so far. If there is anything that Tata sky proactively and efficiently manages that is hounding you with reminders for account recharge.
                                    I had recently uninstalled the Tata Sky dish due to building renovation work. Post the renovation, i have been following up with Tata Sky since 8.5.11 TILL DATE for reinstallation of the dish. After numerous calls and follow ups an engineer from the service office decided to grace with his presence. He fiddled with the dish for a while with no idea as to how and where it needs to be installed. Even after we suggested that he install it at the same place where it was, he ignored it and decided to rely on his own astuteness. We were unable to receive any signal, and while he took his own sweet time to figure out it got dark and he promised to return the next day and fix it. As you might have guessed, he dint return the following day or the next. We again had to call up Tata Sky and repeat our story. What we got in return is another promise and a reference number. After 10 more calls the next day, FINALLY another engineer visited us with no solution to the problem. The next day when i call up the helpline, the totally apathetic customer service associate tells me that my account flashed the message that the matter has been resolved. This obviously wasn’t resolved. I had to again go through the whole storytelling session, and i got a reference no and an empty promise yet again. I have been following up with the customer service till date and the problem is not fixed. Even today when I called the customer service, they say the a/c shows the matter is resolved and I am honestly tired of going through the whole process and telling them my story a zillion times. Inspite of their totally inept service, they have efficiently deducted my recharge package charge and the reinstallation charge (Considering we haven’t received signal or have been able to view a single channel since the last recharge, neither has the dish been installed correctly).

                                    When I Googled Tata Sky, I figured it’s just not me who is going through this ordeal. There are massive amount of complaints against Tata Sky and a lot of them being about the reinstallation service.

                                    Coming from brands like Tata and Star, it’s a shame that I and hundreds of other customers have to go through inefficient and draggy call centre associates, unskilled engineers, disrespect for the clients time, money and contemptible service.

                                    TATA SKY DTH — Not attending the phone call

                                    The people at call center Tatasky does not pick-up the phone call for hours together. This has been happening for months together now. My setoff box against ID no. [protected].

                                    This is a strict violation of the consumer service policy & consumer does not know where to report the problem to. The Tatasky call center no. is[protected].

                                    Pl. help in sorting out the issue.

                                      On 7th May, 2011; I had given the request for relocation wide ID No 1-[protected], where as I had removed the dish from my old house and after that one of your engineer visited and installed the Dish at new house but the Dish was not installed properly and he informed that an extended stand has to be installed worth Rs 500 to receive better signal, while my new house does not have option of installing the dish at terrace, after intimating this information, engineer went and said you will get further information from helpline and some body willc all you back with details pertaining to new stand.



                                      After that 2 days passed away and neither I received any call from Tata Sky nor that Engineer turned up with New Stand, since then my wife or myself is calling Tata Sky help line and every time a new compliant id numbers are issued, the details of id no are as follows

                                      Apart from that we had interacted with other customer care members like Mr Himmat, Mr Wilson etc……etc………over TATA Sky help line and were literally begging to resolve the problem.

                                      After talking to these executives over so called Tata Sky help line, every time a call use to come from Ms Deepika ([protected]) from Delhi with lot of commitment regarding rectification of the problem by next day.

                                      Following Engineers had visited my house and promised to bring the new Stand by next day, so that dish could be installed properly to receive the signals properly.

                                      Subsequently above mentioned Engineers never turned up next day nor they conveyed any message to us for any delay or not coming to my house with so called new stand, while I only called them for reminder and we use to get the reply that your call is allotted to some body else and he is not responsible any more with my problem for further details they asked us to call back to Tata Sky help line again.

                                      While calling back to so called help line above mentioned customer care executives use to tell that your call is closed, where as I was surprised every time that how can my call is closed without resolving the problem that too with out taking any feedback from me neither over phone nor in writing.

                                      It was more painful to learn today that while I checked my online account over Tata Sky website, for my surprise my account was debited Rs 125 twice, i.e Rs 250……that too my problem was still not resolved by such horrible team members of Tata Sky.

                                      Calling the Tata Sky help line is again a terrible experience as every time you are attended by new customer care executive and you have to explain entire story in full details from Scratch……that too with lots of pause from these executives and every time it use to take approx 25 to 30 mins in explaining the entire story that too on STD telephone call.

                                      Again yesterday evening, I had called Tata Sky help line and again conveyed my unresolved problem to Mr Rajeev, who was not able to reply confidently…..further this call was transferred to Mr Amit Kaval (Team leader based at Mohali) against my request to talk to some senior personal in Tata Sky, who has again shown me the hope that my problem shall be resolved by today 19th May, 2011 by 11 AM in morning and who has promised me that my account shall be credited for 13 days, as my TV set is not operational since last 13 days (I had opted for annual package) and including Rs 125 (which was debited twice) as per my account information as on 18th May.

                                      It is very surprising that in today’s competitive scenario where customer is always treated as King/God, organization like TATA are dealing the customer care services in such a cheaper and unprofessional way, where customer complaints are getting closed with out feedback from the concerned customer and no body cares to reply back for resolving the unresolved problems pertaining to their existing customers, I am sure with such approach competitors like Reliance, Bharti, Videocon and others had great opportunity in Indian market at the cost of TATA.

                                      I am in no doubt my complaint should be taken care on high priority, looking forward for a solution with a positive reply from any of the concerned from TATA / TATA Sky.

                                      dear sir/madam,

                                      i am a resident of dibrugarh and a user of tata sky..i previously had dish tv but seeing the tata brand i discontinued dish tv and put up tata sky...On the 20th[yesterday], there was a problem with the digicomp.it was not turning on.so at 11:30am i lodged a complain.they took my number and told me that the technician would contact me soon.i waited for 24 hours.next day i again called them.they again lodged a complain and told me that the technician would come in 2 hours...after 3 hrs again called and they again repeated the process and took my number and told me that the technicain would contact me.after some time a sms came to me saying that before 6:15 pm a technician would come and his number is so and so.but no one came.i tried calling the technicain but it showed that the number is temporarly disconnected .again i called the helpline at 7:00pm and they repeated the same process.now my question is what i should do?this is consumer harresment.my subscriber id is [protected].i called this number-[protected].my complain number is:1-[protected] and1-[protected].my mobile number is [protected].i had spoken to mr kishore and miss humera, their seniors and also many other persons.i request you take some action.

                                      quite coincidently i too have shifted to tata sky from dish, however the difference being i have had no such issues .. initially had some things to be rectified with the installation procedure which was in fact handled very professionally.                                       I Had logged complaint against your Pune Sholapur road hadapsar pune store person Mr. Manish/ Siddhartha for bad behavior with me.
                                      I had purchased Tata sky setup box on 02/09/2012 & installed on 03/09/2012. At the time of Purchase told me 1 month of Rs.410/- free package provide to me but this package disactived on 20/09/2012.I had inform to your pune Sholapur road hadapsar pune store immediately but Mr, . Manish or Siddhartha Store manager level person behave ring very bad with me. I had surrender setup box to him & he had instruct his staff throw it in dust bin & we are not responsible for after service. We are sold only goods whether it is good or bad or defect i.e. not our responsibility. Also invoice copy & My Complaint letter also throw in dust bin. I have lost of Rs.1840/- due to your third-class staff Mr. Manish ( Siddhartha). For verification purpose you will see your camera so that you will find out the fault that person. If he has doing his behavior continuously then you people lost the business. Kindly take the action against him & terminate this person asap. If this is not happen then I will take the guidance of consumer court advocate so that in future no customer face the problem from Croma & Tata Sky. I hope your company is reputed so that you will take the action against that arrogant person & inform me asap.
