I have taken TATA sky connection on 26th Oct. The dealer told that for 2 months you can enjoy all channels free of cost and then you can subscribe Monthly/yeraly packages. I paid Rs.1650 and the guy installed TATA sky at my house. From day 1 there were no Movies channel like Star Movies,PIX,HBO and also no sports channel Star sports, ESPN etc. Only sports channel which can be viewed is Neo Sports. Which also unsubscribe after 1 month.

This is the way company cheats people. They think once the customer has paid money they can compromise with the channels which they give free for 2 months. And when I called customer care, they say channel can be viewed as per your subscription amount. If for 2 months all channels are free then were does any subscription comes from. So its a * and condition applied things. I dont have faith on this company any more.

So I will request every one not to buy TATA sky as they are a BIG TIME CHEETER.

    I booked for a HD + recorder on 29th October, 2011 when there was a sale(Rs. 2000/- for the hardware if booked on the same day) After booking I paid Rs. 3,999 by my Citi Bank Credit Card and the approval number was 682017 and reference number 74332741303130254070016. The installation has not been carried out till date in spite of my calling the customer care several times. The only answer I get is the order was cancelled because the money was not received by tatasky. Whereas Citi Bank confirms that the money was claimed by Tata Sky vide their reference number cited above. A work order was also received from Tatasky through SMS after the transaction was completed which is 1-[protected]. We also sent an e-mail giving all details to Tatasky at [protected]@tatasky.com.

      My self parthasarathy,residing in coimbatore using TATASKY satellite TV connection from last 3 years([protected]-SubID).
      I had a issue of picture quality,i lodged a complaint by 0ct 30th 2011,last 18 days i am following for a service on the same.every time i am told by their customer care executive that they are sending someone but i haven't received.There is no proper communication and the commitments were not honored in spite agreeing to the additional charges of the complaint.I spoke to their superior cust care officer as well but no response
      This lethargic replies and no action on commitment is continuing
      They don't bother about the money i recharged
      I rate them -10 out of 1 to 10 and one of the worst ever company to go with satellite TV connection

      Me too agree with you buddy, im mohanasundaram residing in tirupur. Im getting a frozen picture quality from tatasky since their launch of HD services and im using tatasky plus box. I ve raised almost 200 complaints against this issue, but nothing happens. Have to punish them via sending mass mails.*(Automass)

        I have been doing continuous telephonic and through mail complains against my tatasky plus id [protected] for showing negative balance since 16/08/2010.I have all the mails send to the customer care.I can send the emails also if you provide me the email id where i should send you.
        I am attaching the credit card statement through which I did the payment.
        Next is i have been unable to watch my TV since they have deactivated the services now since last 4months.
        I am ready to pay them but they have to remove the negative balance then only I can pay them.The reason is otherwise the negative balance will be adjusted and I will have to repay them.
        I am sure to avail the services the customer is not suppose to pay it twice.
        The customer care is disguisting, intolerable,irresponsible,etc.
        I informed them I will complain in the grievance cell but they are not bothered about it since according to them
        you people are incapable to do anything about it.
        Waiting for a positive reply at the earliest.

          Today on 13th Nov 2011, received Call from Tata Sky No:[protected] at 3:22 and got a misleading warning that my Tata Sky connection is valid till today and it is the last date for getting it renewed.

          On my request that my connection clearly shows balance of more than Rs One thousand the calling executive said that the balance is due and today is the last date.

          Kindly have a look on the snap shot of my balance. This month’s Account statement has not been uploaded till date.

          Sir, I would like to write about the MISLEADING INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOUR SALES EXECUTIVE. WHY SHE SAID THAT THE AMOUNT DUE IS VALID FOR ADD-ON CONNECTION ONLY. EITHER THE CUSTOMER IS STUPID OR TATA SKY WANTS TO MAKE HIM FOOL. WHETHER THE BALANCE WILL BE CREDITED IN PRINCIPAL ACCOUNT OR IN ADD-ON CONNECTION. WHEN YOU YOURSELF KNOWS THAT THE ADD-ON CONNECTION IS VALID IF THE PRINCIPAL CONNECTION IS VALID.

          Kindy look in to the following points:

          Why you people provide misleading information to your consumers. Either you are extra smart or the customers are so fool that they don’t understand your gimmicks.
          By this way you are not generating more customers but losing them.
          Why you try to create unnecessary dispute.
          I had paid the amount in between as per your policy which had been launched during this year and it was promised by you that the customer can utilize the amount as per his will later on. Either the customer is stupid or TATA SKY is too smart.
          What steps TATA SKY take for the protection of consumer’s rights.
          Whether Tata Sky keep on extracting new formula to extort money from the customers.
          Whether TATA SKY don’t honour its commitment and promises.
          Why the customer face problems in dealing with Tata Sky again and again. Why such situation arises again and again when there is no fault of the customer.
          This is the issue which needs to be addressed by TRAI. Kindly clarify the statement of the calling party to avoid further litigation in the matter.
          Tata Sky can remind me about the last date of submission of renewal charges but can not misguide me . This is UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES ADOPTED BY TATA SKY. SUCH CALLS LEAD TO DISPUTE BETWEEN THE CONSUMERS AND THE SERVICE PROVIDER. KINDLY GO THROUGH MONOPOLIES AND RESTRICTIVE TRADE PRACTICES COMMISSION CHAPTER OF CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 1986.
          If the dozing phone call had not been made then I would have deposited the amount. Now, I shall not deposit the amount and Tata Sky is free to disconnect my connection and take action as per the phone call of the calling executive.
          Either the Sales Executive appointed by Tata Sky are so inexperienced those have no knowledge or they are habitual to dodge customers. Due to your dodging attitude the TATA SKY will lose your old customer.
          It is violation of customer’s right and the customer has to move to TRAI for necessary action. Whether TATA SKY wants that every now and then TRAI as a regulator come forward to settle the dispute with the customers.
          Kindly go through protection of customer’s rights before getting our connection disconnected. Don’t dodge customers unnecessarily.
          If still Tata Sky want to lose its customers and want to indulge in unnecessary dispute then DISCONNECT OUR CONNECTION. THE CUSTOMER IS NOT GOING TO PAY EVEN A SINGLE PENNY.
          KINDLY GUIDE YOUR EXECUTIVES TO LEARN TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS AND DON’T HARASS THEM UNNECESSARILY.

            i have made a comlaint at tata sky customer care on 9 nov 2011 my complaint no. is 1-[protected]. A person from tata sky came to my home on 11 nov 2011 at 12:30 PM. At that time he said that their is some problem in wiring connection so first correct it then call me again at my number [protected].actually i am living in gaur Homes, Govindpuram,Ghaziabad and here their is a main tower of tata sky at all the buildings and their is underground wiring for tata sky for each flat.
            when in the same day at 2 Pm i call the same person he denies to come. so i want to say that tata sky makes the customer foolish by making such wrong promise to its customers that it is best and like that.
            also i request to all the readers who read this please avoid to use tata sky instead there ere other options to use Airteland other connections.

              The service center is pretty useless. I asked for a technician to come and check my Tata Sky because I wasn't getting a proper transmission on some of my channels. The technician came and said that the dish will need to be replaced and asked me to report this to the service center so that they could send another technician to replace the dish. I called up the service center the next moment and was assured that, being a premium subscriber, they would replace the dish that day itself and I won't be charged any additional amount. However, the next day when I called to ask them what happened, I was told that no second complaint was booked. I booked a complaint and was told that the technician would come at 4:30. He didn't come so I called again, to which I was told he will come at 6:30. Obviously, again he failed to turn up and I called again and they said that he will come by eleven in the morning the next day without fail. When he didn't come at even 12 the next day, I called up again and they said that he will come by 3:30 without fail. Their service center doesn't know what is going on and fails to understand the customer's needs.

                A week before this Diwali, I bought new 42 inch LG LED TV with jeal. To enjoy better picture quality, I replaced my 3 year old Tata Sky Setup Box with HD+ for INR around 4000. But so much rely/belief on Tata Sky spoiled my Diwali vacation. I was sold faulty product. I complained immediately and complaining even now, but no resolution and next week it is going to be a month without service. The reason they are citing; they don't have setup box available for replacement and they have kept me on wait till now. My entire family got frustrated and disappointed with this apathy towards us. It seems my hard earned money has been looted by so called renowned company. Given no choice, I am going to Consumer Court about the cheat. Instead of dragging me for indefinite period; please return my money and deposits whatever it is. I will Go for better service providers and will seek help of appropriate agencies about this cheat and loot.

BALANCE ALSO AND I GAVE COMPLIANT WITH CUSTOMER CARE AND I SAID IT WILL BE RECTIFIED WITH IN 24 HRS. BUT NO ACTION AND RESULT, I COULD NOT ABLE TO WATCH T20 MATCH TOO. AND AGAIN I CONTACT AND GAVE COMPLIANT WITH (PH.[protected] AND[protected] THEY SAID YOUR ID HAS BEEN PASSD TO HIGHER AUTHORITIES AND COMPLIANT WILL BE RECTIFIED WITH IN 24 HRS. BUT AGAIN NO RESPONSE AND RECTIFICATION. SAME THINGS USE TO DO EVERYDAY. NO BODY TAKE CARE TO RESTORE MY FAULT ALL THE TIME THEY SAY ITS A TECHNICAL PROBLEM IT WILL BE SOLVED WITH IN 24 HRS.                     I had purchased Tata Sky HD Box from ROSHAN SERVICES who is Authorised dealer of Tata Sky for Sanpada, Navi Mumbai in Feb.2011 with 1 Year Warranty.
                    From 22 Oct.11 onwards there is NO AUDIO on the TV and only picture is coming.A Telephonic Complaint was lodged at Tata Sky Help Line number for Western India at [protected].After 2-3 reminders Service boys from their Sanpada Office came and accepted that it is a Technical fault of the product and cannot be rectified.They wanted to replace the product with an OLD Set ( which has been rectified as it had some fault)

                    I insisted that since my set is within the warranty period I want it to be replaced by a New set and not an old one.

                    Inspite of my repeated Telecons for the past 5-7 days there is NO response from the Company.

                      Tata sky HD setup box

                      HD Setup Box has following problem.
                      1. Channel information is very small u can not read properly.
                      2. HDMI pin is not working
                      3. It will not retrieve signal properly.
                      4. Every one minute HD Setup box lost signal.
                      5. Picture divided into small pieces I have enclosed picture also.


                      Kindly replace my HD setup box with normal setup box and return remaining money.

                      Do not buy TATA SKY setup box. They are cheating with me.

                      I have booked online setup box on telephone. Tata sky sales man send HD setup box without asking about TV compatibility with HD channel or not, LCD Tv etc.

                      After installation I saw HD setup box not working fine even channel information is showing very small font which is not possible to read from 4 ft. I asked to engineer why it is not showing properly, it is like that only.

                      When I compliant to customer care they every time say we solve your problem and transfer this line to our senior or concern dept some dept pick the phone after picking they say i am putting on hold for a moment but that moment not mention 5 min or 10 min most of the time I hang for 5 min and they didn’t come. First day of installation of setup box, when I complaint they concern dept said they know problem they received so many complaint but he don’t know when it will be solve may be 2 or 3 years.
                      My question if he knows about problem, why he sold this worst SETUP BOX?

                      Second he said setup box is only 2599 Rs but after installation he cut 500 Rs for wire without informing and asking. Sales main must say installation is free and if wire required it will be chargeable.
                      I am requesting to TATA Sky Please return 500 Rs and replace HD setup box with Normal Setup box.

                      Before 31-Jul-2011 I put so many requests but now I am writing request number.

                        I would like to lodge a complaint against TataSky for dropping malayalm channels and fooling customers. One of the reason, I selected Tata Sky and been a customer for 4+ years is because of availability of Malayalam channels. They have reduced the malayalam channels from 8 ro 4. This is clear way of fooling customers. No technincal militation justifies the reason to drop the channels. They should have an balanced approach instead of reducing only malayalm channels that too made it half. I'm getting standard answer from TataSky which is has no logic. I just replied to them on these points and providing a brief details below. I request you to help me to get this resolved or let me know how should I go about taking this to next level.

                        You mentioned about viewing pattern and preference of people. I see it can change, but tata sky should know how to balance ansd cater to the viewers. Is it justified to reduce Malayalam channels from 8 to 4 over a period of 3-4 years where as you are increasing other regional languages? Most of your competitors (like Airtel, Big TV, SUN, Videocon) have 10 or more Malayalam channels. I simply don't understand your logic of taste and preference and Tata Sky is not the only one catering to variety of viewers.

                        Tata Sky is not the only channel to have HD channels, nor the first one as well. I'm not sure why Tata Sky has to mention about HD here and trying to justify removal of Malayalam channels. How is the other providers giving HD content and a providing variety of options as well?

                        I don't get the logic of removing three malayalam channels in the last few weeks and introducing other regional channels. Why don't you remove couple of least watched channels in the same regional language and add more if required instead of penalizing only malayalam viewers?

                        Bottom line is that you don't have bandwidth as you are using old technology and you are penalizing customers for no mistake of theirs. I request you to restore Malayalam channels. Please have balance approach for regional language channels. Most of the main regional languages have 10 or more channels, where as Malayalam channels on Tata Sky have gone down from 8 to 4. Again, all your competitors have more than 10 malayalam channels and they seems to catering to the same India audience who have taste and preference !

                        I totally agree with you.
                        If any channel can be removed from Tata Sky service like this, then how come Tata Sky can ask customer to subscribe channels by checking channels published in their website package?. What if taka sky decided to provide ONLY DD National from next month on-wards? With their explanation, that is also very valid option. I dont think their justification is legally correct.

                        If channels are decided by Tata Sky by checking number of viewers for a channel, my answer would be : I never subscribed to a channel viewed by the max customers, I opted for a package which I am interested. I dont think Tata Sky can just think from their benefit front by fooling so many people in India.
                        I think you should contact Tata Sky customer service. They are quiet prompt in their reply and will help you out. It is more effective way of getting your work done. Also, since your query is regarding Malayalam channels, you should write to [protected]@tatasky.com . This is the id for all channel queries.

                          I recharged Rs 500/- in my tatasky account, ID [protected] around 10 Oct 11 and the balance indicated was around Rs 723/-. However, today on checking up, the amt reflected in my acc on the screen was Nil and due date for recharge was 23 Oct 11. I immediately recharged Rs 500/-. Balance shown after recharge was Rs 1024. No bonus was given. I lost the bonus and was put to unnecessary inconvenience by your wrong data. If you cannot update your data properly then please display a cautionary note informing the customers. Please let me know how you are going to improve your system and add the bonus due to me due your lapse.

                          my sub id [protected]. Irecently got re loc my Tata Sky. Same time paid Rs 1550/ Got an SMS that bal is Rs 1994/- . Shockingly while puting on the TV negative balance is shown. Pl reconcile the same .

                            We are having south jumbo pack of tata sky for the past three years which included seven malayalam channels and we make annual payments. Last month we find two malayalam channels are dropped without any information.When I complained in the toll free number I was told that he cant help it as the decision is taken up by higher authorities.Now I find that one more malayalam channel has been removed.At this rate soon there may not be a single malayalam channel...We choose among the various DTH providers after seeing if they are providing the channels we need. So removing an existing channel is not accecptable please look into the matter.The malayalam channels that are removed are
                            1 DD(malayalam)
                            2 AmritaTV
                            3 Kairali TV

                            I bought Tata Sky in sept 2007 after seeing the list of available channels specially sports channels. I am paying Rs. 300 monthly as rent for these channels.                             I am also not happy with tata sky, I am not able to receive any sports channel without extra payment and there are many other packages, this is the worst practise of tata sky, I have decided to close my tata sky and buy dish tv even though we cannot view other channels atleast we can view sports channel.

                            My Package was called as Sports Extra when i took which includes ESPN, STAR SPORTS, TEN Sports. After that i have subscribed for NEO Sports and Neo Cricket, but now i am able to watch only NEO Sports and Neo Cricket .

                            Also UTV movies and UTV used to come when i took and the person who came to install as told that that is included in the package, but now they say that UTV is a paid service and i need to Pay for it.

                            Also when i checked Zee Telugu being a free to Air channel it is being charged extra. I don't understand when all the Zee Channels are free why not the Zee Telugu. This is the stupid trick played by TATA so that the regional channels will be charged as most o[censored]s will be watching the regional channels.

                            Could you please help us from this kind of cheating done by bi companies like TATA, which was unexpected . i Have never Expected TATA to do such Fraud things.

                              I have purchase Tatasky about 2 months back and i have subscribing South Starter Pack which contains 7 Malayalam Channels. I hv subscribed the same only for Malayalam channels. Now they have withdrawn 3 channels without any notice. I hv contacted Tatasky and informed them my view i.e i have purchased tatasky for viewing Malayalam Channels only and if you could not give the channels which you have offered, you have to refund me deposit (paid for Digicom) of Rs.2500/- and take back the Digicom which they have refused. Since they have withdrawn the channels which they have offered at the time of subscription, they have to refund the deposit or not? Please clarify.

                                Tata Sky — DEAD SET TOP BOX

                                I am using TATA SKY more then one , setbox of TATASKY is not working from last saturady-- 28th May 2011. I have logged complain (WO [protected] ) on saturday only, still my complain is not attended.

Last month they removed DD Malayalam & Amritha Channel and now they have taken away Kairali channel. I was never informed and neither given any other options.                                   I hv purchase tata sky in last week of Dec 07in 6 months free subscription scheme. So it would be free for June last week. It was going on propperly. On 7th June i installed 2nd digicomp for anothe TV. But on sunday there are no channels on both TV sets. I recharge my Subscriber id for Rs. 900 on Sunday afternoon. But nothing happen after recharge also. on Monday in my Secondry digicomp channels come but in primary, d problem is same till date. The message showing in Primary TV set is "The Tatasky digicard is not authorised" with blue screen. Today is 10th June 08, Tuesday.
                                  Your call center service is so poor that i hv no words to say smthng abt that. Dealer says we cant do anything abt it. I have taken a lot of tension from Sunday morning.

                                  TataSky — unavailability of channels

                                  I am a Tatasky subscriber & I pay a package of Rs300/- p.m for all the channels which are supposed to be available for this package, but I am sorry to inform you that I do not get NDTV-good times Channel No 219, NDTV Imagine No.157, Bindas .No.119, Zoom No.121, 9X No.150, UTV -movies No.31, world movies No.351.and all the sporta channels. please let me know what should be the package amount to get all these channels on my TV.I DO NOT WANT ETV No.152, ETV No.153, ETV No.154 & No.181 on my TV channels. My due date for payment is 25/6/08. Please do the needful and let me know at your earliest.

                                  COMPLAIN AGAINST TATA SKY

                                  TATA SKY is not providing many channels which are free to air plus they are not providing few channels in a package. Following is only an example (there're other packages as well)

                                  For EG: In India the Zee Network`s sidters sites are: In Hindi Networks: Zee TV, Zee Business, Zee Cinema, Zee Classic, Zee Music, Zee News, Zee Premiere, Zee Smile, Zee Sports, Zee Trendz, ETC Music, ETC Punjabi; In English Networks: Zee Action, Zee Café, Zee Select, Zee Studio, Zee Kasturi; In Regional Channels: Zee Bangla, Zee Gujarati, Zee Kannada, Zee Kashmir, Zee Marathi, Zee Punjabi, Zee Telugu, Zee Talkies.

                                  Channels provided are: Zee tv, Zee Cinema, Zee Trendz, ETC Punjabi, Zee cafe, Zee Studio, Zee Bangla, Zee Gujarati...most importantly being in KARNATAKA Zee Kannada is not a part of the package.

                                  After talking to one of the agents of TATA SKY, I was told that the channels will be included but was not told when..which is very clear that, they will not include those channels

                                  It is interesting that, when I entered the name TATA SKY there was a pop up saying, there're 81 complaints against TATA SKY. My question is: are all complaints taken care?
                                  is it really worth writing here? or am I wasting my time like every other citizens?

                                  There was Signal Problem in my bloody Tata Sky tv so i called to custmer care he tried to troubleshoot the problem but that executive didn't. I was having only signal problem with Colors channel and the other channel displaying very fine. so i asked that bloody tata sky executive that is it chargebal for so he told me only if any part is damaged and we need to replaced that part then only we will charge you. i said ok now very next day engineer came and told ous that everything is working fine except one dish entena part so i asked to that engineer is it chargebal for me so that engineer called to tata sky office and asked about the charges and confirmed that it wont chargebal for me then only i told him to change the part.
                                  After Bloody 5 Days that Bloody Tata Sky debited the 350 from my tata sky a/c and deactivated the service i called to custmer care and registered the complaint after registering and following more than 20 times they called me today and told me that just because of your a/c not is in warrenty period is we charged you.
                                  Believe me I ahve never expected this kind of service from such a big company. shame on you Tata sky you should. They have given me wrong information and theft rs.350 from my a/c. Tata sky is not Cable tv service provider they all are thief and proffession also the same.

                                  Tata sky has added Zee Kannada and Zee Telugu. I think they shall add more channels over time. I dont think everyone wants to watch all the channels.
                                  I disagree. Instead of fulminating on boards like these, people should just talk to customer service. If a lower level exec cannot solve your problem then just ask him to pass on the phone to his senior. He shall solve the problem.

                                  Many channels of different service providers like Zee (Zee Premier / Action / Classic) are unavailable on the Star sponsored TataSky DTH.

                                  If consumers are willing to pay why are these channels blocked just because they are from a different company?

                                  Is this what DTH means? That we are at the mercy of these multinational giants? Whats the difference between them and the local cablewallah who was also troubling customers?

                                  hi, there was a problem in my tata sky channels and i gave complaint to my nearest dealer. He sent a

                                  It seems that TATA SKY has a problem with MultiRoom. After they installed that multiroom, on a regular basis some of the channels are not comming (Like SET MAX, BBC, CNBC-TV18 etc).
                                  Called in repeated times, technitian came around 5 times, changed LNP, switched the Boxes from one tv to another, changed DISH allignment, but still the same problem.
                                  I am waiting for my 6 mths subscription to be over and go to someone else.
                                  Very dissapointed with Quality, and sincerity. I think they are not capable of solving any issue.

                                  If this happens everyday it is no outage problem you should call the customercare and seek assistance in getting it fixed. They may either be able to check the alignment of the dish antenna for this at times they may enable a force range to get frequency altered and gain higher reception. If that will not help out they may arrange for a tech visit it will be charged. The engineer will be able to solve the problem in a better manner and may identify where the issue lies. You may also try restarting the STB in the morning sometimes that helps.

                                  Deactivation of all the HD Channel

                                  Sir I would like to request you that kindly de-activate All my HD Channel of ID No. [protected] of Shiv Kumar Prasad

                                  set up box is not responding.customer id no. 1001875721

                                  when it started red light of set up box turn to green and HDMI 1 is displayed and after that there is no further processing . Customer care no. is not responding it says call can not be processed .

                                  Deduction of Balance

                                  I am not subscribed the Active game service, but Rs.47 was deducted for this service. Please rectify & check the problem and credit the balance if possible. My ID No. is [protected]

                                    I subscribed to Tata Sky HD Services on 5th Aug 2011, subscriber id [protected]. I had intermittent issues with my digicomp box, but, it was working after reloading. On 26th Sept 2011, my digicomp box stopped working. I raised a complaint with Tata Sky customer service - complaint no 1-[protected]. I was told that this issue will be resolved by 28th Sept. I got a call from Tata Sky network team to understand what was wrong, based on my description of the problem, they figured out that the digicomp had to be replaced. This will be done by 28th Sept. Nothing happened on 28th Sept, I called back on 29th Sept and complained. I was told that digicomp boxes are out of stock and I will get a new one by 1st October. Nothing happened on 1st Oct. I called back, they promised me that the box will be fixed by 3rd Oct, today. Nothing happened today as well. I called back, I was told that this will be fixed by 5th Oct, but, there was no firm commitment. I made several calls today and talked to floor Suprtvisor, Dilip and then Ashish. I was very clear in articulating that I need a digicomp box by 8 pm in my house, I was OK taking a higher version HD-DVR for the time being. Otherwise, I want all my installation charges (2599 for box and 225 for installation), account balance (about 225), my phone charges for all the calls (about 300 Rs) and inconvenience charges (since, Tata Sky charges a fine for not recharging in time).

                                    Nothing was done till 8 pm, I called back and talked to Floor supervisor Avni and then with Team leader Soujanya. I extended the deadline to 10 pm. Again, I was OK taking a HD-DVR, till I get a HD digicomp box. This was not taken up.

                                    I was promised that this will be fixed by tomorrow 4th Oct, but, frankly, I do not have any confidence.

                                    I want all the money as highlighted above and an apology letter from Tata Sky.

                                    TATA SKY/DTH SERVICES. — REPLACEMENT OF DIGICOMP BOX

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    I have been a loyal customer of Tata Sky since 13th September 2006.It is very dissappointing for me to know after so many years that the Tata Sky Customer Care Service is so lousy.when you have any problem it takes forever for them to fix it.
                                    Since 28th August 2011 my Tata Sky digicomp box is not working.I have called several times to get it replaced but my complain has fallen to deaf ears so far nothing satisfactory has been done to resolve it till date.I have wasted my precious time and money calling them again and again only to hear that it is going to take 3 days,4 days and now they want 2 more days.They never updated my details.They didn't even have courtesy to call me.I'm regretful and fed up with Tata Sky Customer Service.Had i known about their customer care service i would have chosen some other service provider.I strongly advice not to ever go for TATA SKY.
                                    Complains should be taken care of with no further inconvenience to the customers.It's their responsibility they should follow up on it and be committed to resolve the complain within the given time rather than further delaying it and making it difficult for customers to keep faith.I think they should compensate the customer for the loss of time and money.No one should experience such a pathetic service.It's shameful for a big company like tata sky to deal with customers in such a way that they no longer want to continue with the them.I feel very sorry for the customer.I hope they will take appropriate action in your favour to not make you and your family suffer anymore.

                                      Hi All,

                                      I'm Bala, I have subscribed Tatasky normal setupbox connection (not the HD one) . before that , i had a conversation with Tatasky customer care Agent,

                                      He said , the standard package will get two regional pack (hindi/telugu/tami/etc) English new channels and English movie channels (HBO , StarMovies etc ) .

                                      (so, i unsubscribed from local cable channel connection, costs Rs.110 per month , which does not provide any English movies channels other than MOVIES NOW, just because to get more English movie channels , i switched for Tatasky connect cost Rs.150 per month and other costs for antenna/dish , cable and set-top box)

                                      But later on , I came to know that, i have to subscriber for English movies channels separately with cost of Rs.60 per month ,

                                      So, Now my monthly expenses for TataSky is Rs.210 ,

                                      Here, what i want to convey is , Before you go for any satellite TV connection , Please get the information clearly from any of the local agent for the satellite TV , don't believe on the words of call center representative , even if you ask any questions specifically, they will simply say YES for all your question , as to meet your expectations .

                                      Better you can go with the local cable channel , Of Very less investments and less rent per month.

                                      sir i have paid Rs 1785/- on6/11/2014for six months semi annual super pack. I have been a customer of tata sky for the same package for last almost 5years.Today the service is deactivated. on contacting call center today, i was told that i have not informed them what package is sought THEY KNOW THAT RATE CHART FOR THE SAID PACKAGE IS RS 1785/ ALSO I AM CONTINUING THE SAME PACKAGE FOR SO LONG TIME, THEN HOW YOU CAN DISCONTINUED THE SERVICE? WHEN I CONTACTED TATASKY HELPLINE IN THE NOON, THE SUPERVISOR ASSURED ME THAT MY COMPLAINT IS NOTED & I WILL GET RESPONCE. HOWEVER, IN THE NIGHT WHEN I AGAIN CONTACTED THE HELPLINE, ANOTHER SUPERVISOR ROUGHLY ADVISED ME THAT UNLESS I RECHARGE AGAIN, I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VIEW THE PROGRAMMES. HE ALSO ABRUPTLY DISCONNECTED THE CALL. I HAVE NOT EXPECTED SUCH BEHAVIUOR FROM TATA SKY. I FEEL CHEATED./EXPLOITED.

                                        Me is Yashpal Dhiman, residential of village & PO Behdala, Distt, Una (HP) is having Tata Sky HD Connection. My Registered Mobile No is [protected]. Subscriber ID is presently not available. I have experienced during last three months that Tata Sky HD Services are discontinued one week to 10 days prior to complete of month prepaid cost. This is very bitter and cost effective experience. Tata Sky services office available for Una regional must go into the case and recharge warning should be given just two-three days in advance only, but is a usual matter, warning messages start coming 15 days in advance.
                                        I would request that the firm should compassionate me for advance recharged. For the month of recharged was done on 03 September 2011, but the services have been discontinued on 28 September 2011, instead of 02 Oct 2011.
