Today i. E. 12th august 2019, tata sky added the channel tata sky vedic maths priced inr 300 to our channel list without consent. They also stated that the channel is free for first 5 days and then it will depend on the user whether they want to continue it or not. But the problem started when we received the message from tata sky stating that we will have recharge our package earlier (About 4 months earlier from last date of recharge) the monthly subscription at all places in tata sky is showing as inr597 instead of our subscribed inr 297. This is very poor service and consumer service problem from tata sky and i want to complaint the problem we are facing due to this switch.

      I'm the new customer of tata sky booked this new connection through online and they gave it to tirumala enterprises nacharam near saibaba temple and ph no:- [protected]
      The above dealer nor the online customer care people explained me about packages and they simply installed the connection and left... I gave a complaint to customer care regarding this with complaint number 1lsa7xfm which was closed without giving resolution to me...
      I contacted the dealer and they spoke with a reckless voice to ask the customer care...
      This is not the customer relationship with the company..
      Recently my relative tooa new connection with hd box for 6 months with 3200/-.. But this dealer took 1920 with me and installed one month package without explaining the packages..
      Kindly resolve my issue and i will pay the difference amount.. Else if it is not possible just disconnect the new connection and refund my amount

        I have recharged rs 800 in sbscriber id [protected]by mistake in place of id [protected]. But id no [protected]is closed or inactive so i want my recharge in my current id [protected]. Both id are in my name only. I have tried to contact tata sky and complained about this my complain id no is 1ly7yr2d. But their response is not satisfactory. They are saying that they cannot resolve this. Please look into it.

          I have not used my tata sky for a months and after gap of months i got recharge but it say wrong card for this set top box. ( paring error ) Nds No.[protected] digicard Id is[protected]. As details what ever had been appeared in the tv screen has been copy pasted. Therefore i pleased your kind authority to look into the matter to resolve it. Thank you.

            Tatasky cheated on me they provide me secondhand adapter. 2.5 months ago in 2019 i had applied for new connection now they charged me & providing me secondhand if have i paid for any item so company should have to give me new product. They are not responding to my problem they just ignoring my issues. Please help me asap its request. They are just answering my calls only not responding to problem.

              No signal issue for a week for which i repeatedly called customer care but technician did not came.
              I was thinking of chaging service provider from tata sky to some one else but i have recently made recharge of 5000rs.
              Get my issue resolved asap or refund my money.

                    Worst services ever, they just know to charge even if the services are hampered from there end. After 3 years i am not able to view any channels to which when the technician visited, he told us that a new tata sky connection has been installed just in front of our dish due to which interference is there and hence we cannot view the channels. Now the funny part is that they are asking us to move our connection and pay extra 300 for relocation. I mean why should we be liable for this cost? My connection was working fine until tata sky technician installed a new connection in front o[censored]s, isn't it there responsibility to ensure no hindrance in existing connections? After having a 30 min call with then they told us that they will be sending one new technician to confirm whether the issue is due to the other dish or not at 9 am next day but later they changed it to 6 pm and now they are saying that there technician is not available. The customer support is so unprofessional that i cannot describe, they are so rude and are not even ready to understand the pain of customer, they just know how to EARN extra bucks even if they have to charge wrong. There is no one ready to listen. This is the worst service i have ever expected from such a reputed company. Its good that i had known the true colors soon as just a few day back i had asked them for multi connection. I will highly recommend all to not take Tata sky, rather go for Airtel or Dish Tv, they are far better. I will ensure all my known ones to never use this ### service.

                    I am seeing This card is not for the setup box, pairing error. I am using Tata sky d2h. I am using the service for a year now. I took out the card and cleaned with a dry cloth as well and inserted back but error is still displayed.

                      After installation of Tata sky it worked only for a day and now it repeatedly show the message to contact helpline(screenshot attached). We have been complaining since a week. After much delay the technician comes and says settop box is fine and problem with subscriber ID. Now he gives his senior's number and says talk to him. He says will be fixed by evening and that's it. What's the problem nothing is explained and they're just dragging.
                      Worst service. Nobody knows what's wrong. Are they working for Tata sky. Subscriber ID: [protected]

                      It's unresolved yet. There seems to be an issue with the subscriber ID which your guys are not able to solve. We have been provided with a temporary solution i.e a temporary set top box with a card. And the careless one has been taken for repair.
                      It seems so silly that resolving subscriber ID issue is been made to look as a humongous task.
                      How much time does it take to cancel this subscriber ID and create a new one?

                        I have a very bad experience with your service. It's my first and last month experience regarding your service... First time i apply tata sky online. And make schedule for next day at a time 9 to 11 am in the morning... And confirm with your executive bt he came same day and start doing their work. No informed me. Nd... I pay my first payment 2000 rupees but my amount is around 1985 something he told me rest amount will add in your card.. It's fine and i sow my expiry date on my id it's 2 of september after few days i my expiry date had changed and i complain with your customers care executive they told me you use extra wire.. Which is not needed for us... No body inform me we use extra wire no body confirm me. N i didn't get any bill or something regarding extra wire... Tell me reason. Why... I have very bad experience that's why i will never suggest any body to use tata sky..

                          I had taken tatasky subscription 7 months back, at present neither it is raining nor it is cloudy but still signal is not receiving. We contacted the tata sky customer care but they are saying that we need to pay RS 150 as service charge to get the problem rectified . Why should we pay when there is signal or other problem due to tatasky itself. This is sheer exploitation for the customers if we have to pay everytime Rs 150 when fault is on the side of tatasky itself.No cable operators charge extra when there is problem on there side.

                            Big Companies are cheating the Consumer by not providing with Genuine Spare Parts but are selling Spurious Products with impunity. Are such Companies above law. They don't even acknowledge the complaints.

                            Here i am complaining about the company which falls under the brand name of TATA and adopts "TATA's Code of Conduct"

                            Below is the detailed complaint and matter which i am trying to register with TATA SKY

                            The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer,
                            Tata sky, . Mumbai.

                            The Preface of your Company amongst others states " The Company believes in the conduct of the affairs of its constituents in a fair and transparent manner by adopting Standards of Professionalism, honesty, integrity and ethical behaviour. Towards the end the Company has adopted the Tata Code of Conduct, which lays down the Principles and Standards that should govern the actions of the Company and it's employees. Any actual or potential violation of the Code, however insignificant or perceived as such would be a matter of serious concern for the Company.".

                            In the above background, I would like to bring to your notice as to how your staff or outsourced personal of your Company tries to cheat and befool the Consumers.

                            On 5th July, 2019 a complaint was lodged by my daughter in law with regard to the non functioning of my bedroom T.V. It is to the credit of your Company that Technician was at our door steps with in minutes. After examining the T.V and others accessories he declared that Set Up Box and Adapter are not functioning and are to be replaced and took out from his bag an Adapter and a set up box for replacement.Both these accessories were not in sealed or Packed Condition and it appears that they had been used earlier. How such accessories can be used as replacement for defective parts when these are not in Packed Condition nor a Consumer would know the date of Packing or its MRP. Can any Company in the garb o[censored]sed or open products can pass on the same to the Consumer as a New Product. Be that as it may, the Adapter which I was using earlier had been purchased by me only a month ago which of original make. On my asking, the technician used that Adapter and the same is functioning till date. For the replaced Set Up Box, I have been charged Rs 400/- which amount stood deducted from my Tata sky Account with in minutes.Whereas for monthly payments made by the Consumer online your Company takes about 24 hours to update the Account and in the meantime a Consumer goes on getting the reminder on its TV screen that your account is valid for one or two days, as the case me.

                            After replacement of the Set Up Box, I enquired about the Warranty Period. The Technician answered that it is for One Year.On my demand no such Warranty was provided. Moreover, no copy of worksheet has been provided so as to enable the Consumer to have the record which part was replaced when and at what cost. .

                            Under the above circumstances, I would like to highlight that all the above acts done by the Technician on behalf of Tata sky amounts to deficiency in Service and Un Fair Trade Practices as envisaged under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, as replaced Set Up Box was in open condition whereas it ought to have been in Packed Condition with Manufacturing date as well as Maximum Retail Price clearly depicted on the sealed packing. Secondly, no written warranty for one year has been provided as oral warranty has no meaning in the eyes of law.Lastly, how the Company permit the Technician to keep used products such as an Adapter when these are available in the Markets in Properly Packed Conditions. .

                            As Prima Facie there has been violations of Provisions of Consumer Protection Act, 1986 in the present case, therefore I call upon your Company to suitably compensate me for deficiency in service and for indulging in Unfair Trade Practices.

                              After recharging tatasky the channels are not coming only the main channels of tatsky is showing. As the due date was 06/08/19. So it was recharged and the amount was ₹781 which is paid, but after that also channels are not coming since it is more than 12 hours. The subscriber id is [protected]. Kindly resolve this problem as soon as possible. Thank you.

                                Annual package with 13 month free offer

                                Before my subscription ends for current month, tatasky representative called and asked me to refill for 12 months providing amount of one year subscription. I paid that amount and asked him about my 13 month refill.

                                Online details were not updated for more than one month however connection was active. He also promised me that i will be allowed to change channels as per my convenience and days will be reduced as per charges.

                                After one month when i again enquired about my refill date they said you have paid few rupees less hence offer is not available to you.

                                This is clear cheating as amount was told by tatasky telemarketing executive. Now there call centre says you are not eligible for offer.

                                This is innovative cheating method wherein you ask customer to pay amount as per your convenience for annual subscription and after one month tell them that offer is not for you as you have made mistake by paying few rupees less.

                                I had seen this on social media for tatasky and found out that i am not the only one. There are more people like me who has been cheated with this thirteen month free scheme.

                                I honestly feel they should stop using name tata, as these ethics do not represent tata culture.

                                    Today recharge 12 months 225x12=2700 rs bot as yours sms not getting one month extra benefit. Today i got a sms from tatasky recharge of 12 subscription we have offer one month extra benefit. I pay 2700 today my monthly subscribe 225 rupees. After paid i am not found mi extra one month extra subscription.. So kindly se this lapse which is not good for tata costner

But at present we don't need secondary set up box due to sail of television and i don't need new television. Therefore you are requested to disconnect my secondary set up box.

                                        I had done call log for details installation of the tata sky set top box because of transfer of place of posting. I had called tata sky more than 8 times but they have always responded by making false promises. Till date the issue is yet to be resolved from their end and i had to do the needful by a local electrician.
                                        Who shall pay the compensation
