My TATA Indicom photon plus connection [protected] against a/c no.[protected] has been disconnected on 10th Dec 2012 as per disconnection request no.[protected]. I have paid my bill of Rs 501/- to Mr Meenakshisndram ,He told this is the final payment for you as well .But after disconnection bill was raised ,also i have received court call letter from TATA PHOTON .Please stop raising bills.ASAP

TATA TeleServices — Unwarranted billing

I am Tilak Jha. I took a Tata Photon connection last January on 11th of Jan 2011 (No.: [protected]). I gave all the documents that the agent sent by Tatas asked for. The company had problem with my documents and they didn't provide me service till 18th of January. On 18th they activated my Photon connection with the same documents. At the end of the month when they sent the bill, they are charging me from 11th. Not only this, the Tatas have sent me billing of another post paid number as well ([protected]). I never had this number. My purchase slip has one number but my bill has two numbers. Now when I am complaining they are harassing me by asking me to settle the issue with the dealer.
I called Tata customer care and they sent the agent. I didn't go to any dealer. Now when I have an issue they want me to fight with the dealer and they want to make money in between.

    I am using two Tata Photon Numbers for more than 02 years and was paying its applicable bills regularly. Then one of these numbers [protected] (A/C[protected] went out o[censored]se and I requested to cancel the number. There was NO OUTSTANDING on this number at that time. The executive did not cancel it rather put it on suspension for 06 months. After 06 months, the number got re-activated and I got a message for this. I again contacted the customer care of Tata Photon and asked to its cancellation. This time the executive requested to use the number for another one month and then get cancelled. With no information, he also changed my plan from 950-Unlimited to 250-Limited plan. I used the number for a month and to my shock I got a bill of more than 4000 INR in the end of the month. When I contacted the customer-care again, they informed me about the change in plan BUT they do not have any request for change in plan from my side.
    I launched complaint with them but got no response. Then one day, Ms. Neetu (Ph.[protected] called me informing me that the bill has been settled and I only need to pay 600 INR. I paid the said amount very next day and did not get any more calls for about two weeks.
    But then again, another call came asking me to pay the remaining amount of 3489 INR. I informed them about the things and asked them for resolution. They asked me to pay only 50% of the amount the close the case. But this was no justice. I told than that I am not asking for a waiver of 50%, but a true justice. They surrendered saying that nothing more than this can be done.

    Finding no hope, I decided to surrender BOTH of my tata-photon numbers and revoking all relations with this company and I applied for cancellation of both of the numbers. Very next day of my cancellation-application, I got a call from Ms. Jyoti (Ph.[protected] and[protected], another customer care executive of Tata Photon. She asked the causes of my dissatisfaction and I told her the truth. She promised me the waiver of entire amount but 400 INR and asked me to pay only 400 INR.
    She also gave me a complaint No.[protected] in which she mentioned all her commitments. Next day I confirmed about the same from the Customer Care of Tata Photo. The same was also confirmed by two other customer care executives Vikram and Gurpreet (on [protected]). They confirmed that the waiver has been mentioned as commitment in the resolution-log of the mentioned service-request ID.
    Based on these confirmations, I made the payment of another 400 INR, expecting the issue to be resolved and again contacted the Customer Care to close the things.
    BUT again, to me disappointment, they told that they have not received a Service Request for the waiver, although the same has been mentioned as commitment in the complaint. For this, they tool another complaint and gave me complaint ID[protected].
    I got a call from Ms. Meetha assuring a resolution soon. I also got a mail from her assuring to resolve by 28th Mar 2013 end of the day ([protected]@tatadocomo.com). This complaint was expected to be closed by 28-March-2013 but on this day I received a SMS that the complaint[protected] has exceeded the closure timelines. The team is working on it and will be closed in next two days.

    This should be mentioned here that although this entire process is running in parallel under official processes and records, their recovery agents (All Females) kept calling me to get the payment and I kept telling them the things.
    On 03-April-2013 I got another call from another so-called customer care executive asking me to make the payment. When I asked her what happened to my complaint, she told “We are not responsible to close your complaints, pay the amount and this get closed automatically, otherwise you will face consequences”.
    I got really shocked that even after all my cooperation, and following as per their own promises, I am listening these words from them, and I decided to go another official step by complaining against them in consumer forum.
    I have written e-mails to their authorities to look into the matter before it gets worse.
    I request the authorities to take immediate actions and get the issue closed as soon as possible.

    Even After repeated Complaints to Tata tele services ( My No. is [protected] ) and registing for DND service, Iam receiveing calls from the following NO [protected].

    I Think it is automated Call with the Intention to Advertise about the Ring tones.

    Please take remedial measures so that I dont receive Such Calls.

      Respected Sir,
      I had bought Tata Photos Relationship ID:[protected] bearing
      Del NO :[protected].After I bought I found that its very slow , within 10 days I went to same shop and informed them to disconnect my Connection and that Shop keeper had confirmed me that I won’t get any bills after this.
      But after one month, I got a bill to pay some amount again I conducted that shop keeper,Mr.Partheeban & Manikanadan ([protected]) he informed me not to bother about that bills.
      I too left it , but recently I got a letter from LOK ADALAT,to Come to Court on[protected].
      As a Consumer, I had clearly given a letter to close my Active Connection, but its problem from your Local Tata Show room.
      If this problem persists for me again I have to file a case against TATA TELESERVICES LTD at Consumer Court.
      As a Senior Citizen, I can’t get into all these troubles. MY Health Wont support to attend court and Issues.
      I request Tata Teleservice Ltd, People to Communicate to Pondicherry office, Partheeban & Manikanadan with his mobile no: [protected].
      Try to Sort out this problem with your Pondicherry office itself.
      IF not I will come through Consumer Court. We will meet there.

        Dear Sir,

        With reference to the above we had applied for disconnection of tata photon nos [protected] & [protected] on dec 27.12.2012 at hubli office even we have cleared all the dues, then we even sent request mail to the customer care on dated 28.12.2012. we got a reply for that on 28.12.2012 reference number for the same is[protected] &[protected]. But till date there is no action taken we even spoken to the customer care they assured us that both the connections has been disconnected and we will not receive bills in future, we even went personally to your office they also assured the same. But nothing has been changed they are sending us the monthly bill and sending persons for recovery of bill this is completely ridiculous. Hence we request you to kindly take the necessary action immediately as the Matter is Most Urgent; otherwise we are forced to go to TRAI/ Consumer Forum in this regard.

          Respected Sir,

          I was a Tata Photon+ subscriber no [protected] in Maharashtra. I requested for a disconnection and did a full and final settlement vide rcpt no 174258, book no 6971 on 7th July 2012. Post the payment, the company generated another bill for approx 370 rs, which I settled through the internet.

          Since then, the company has raised further bills and is now asking me to settle the same. I have been receiving harassing and at times stern calls to settle the same.

          Today, on 28th March 2013, I have received further calls from two Delhi numbers, one Adv Vishal Mehta - [protected] and another person from Tees Hazari Court in Delhi. In effect, I have been told that the company has filed a compliant against me for non payment of bill and I will need to appear in Delhi's Tees Hazar Court and pay a fine of INR 40,000. I have also been provided with a court case number of NW - 308.

          On the other hand, I had requested for a land line broad band connection, vide CAF 1091391 and paid 1140 towards the same. The company has neither provided the connection, nor has refunded the money.

            I HAVE REGISTERED MY APPLICATION ON APRIL 2012 TO DISCONNECT THE TATA PHOTON PLUS INTERNET PLAN DUE TO MY PERSONAL REASONS, THEY SAID THAT I WILL RECEIVE CALL REGARDING DISCONNECTION WITHIN 24 HRS. I RECEIVE CALL FROM CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE.AFTER LOTS OF DISCUSSION HE PUT MY A/C NO. INTO SAFE CUSTODY FOR 6 MONTH WHICH IS NOT CHARGED.. AFTER 1 MONTH I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING MONTHLY BILL REGULARLY .THEY WERE CHARGING SAFE CUSTODY CHARGES (Rs.50) ON EACH BILL. IN SEPT MONTH I COMPLAINT TO CUSTOMER CARE COMPLAINT NO. REGARDING THIS MATTER, ON SEPT LAST THEY SAID I DON'T HAVE TO PAY ANY AMOUNT DUES ARE SETTLED. IN FEB 2013 I RECEIVE CALL FROM ADVOCATE CASE FILING IN PATIYALA COURT IN DELHI FOR REMAINING DUES TO TATA PHOTON. THEY PRESSURIZE ME TO PAY SUCH AMOUNT. BUT TODAY I FEEL VERY BAD THAT TATA TELESERVICES FRAUD ME FOR NOT DISCLOSING ALL LEGAL MATTERS. PLEASE HELP ME OUT..

              Dear Team,

              I am a Photon customer since 2011. Nature of my job is travelling.
              I went last year abroad and kept my photon ([protected]) in safe custody and faced no issues at all.

              This year again I kept my photon in safe custody ‘Safe custody email - Ref Number M11831900, Dated 2 Jan’. And I find that I am being charged regular bill amount instead of the safe custody rental of 75.

              Which makes my total due of 693.28 and not the said 1545.

              Being back in India now I need to use my photon. But the company has barred the device and is forcing me to pay incorrect amount of 1545 to enable the serices

              I am ready to pay what is right bill. I am approaching you to help me

                This is regarding poor service from Tata Photon resulting in mental harassment and unnecessary billing against my corporate postpaid connection which is still open and unattended. The connection is in my wife's name and we thought of converting our postpaid service to prepaid one. We raised a request[protected] on 19-Jan-2013 and received a reply from Docomo that the resolution will be done by 21-Jan-13. When the date passed, I called up the Customer Care to know the status of the request and they said the complaint is still open. I started following up with customer care since then which only resulted in my mental harassment. I got one mail id for escalation which is appellate.[protected]@tatadocomo.com. I dropped a mail to them and they forwarded this mail to [protected]@tatatel.co.in generating a new request number #[protected]. The reply of the mail promised the resolution by 16-Feb 17:00. I was sure nothing will be done. On 20-Feb, I received a message from docomo on my cell saying your request has been resolved. I called up customer care to clear the outstanding and came to know that the request is still open. I narrated my story to customer care and he told me to visit a docomo outlet. I went to the outlet in Aundh and they told me we don't deal with corporate connections. I again called up customer care and they gave me a new address located in Pimple Saudagar area. I went there and got the same answer. Now I am so fed up with this process that I want to close the connection and I again called up customer care and they told me since you have one open request for migration you cannot disconnect the connection, I asked if this request can be cancelled so they said no this request cannot be cancelled. My bill is getting generated and I am helpless. The details of the connection are:

                  With ref. to account no of[protected] Del no of [protected] of T.sivakumar I have stopped using the TATA Docomo broad band connection since Nov 2012. repeatedly I have asked the closure of my broad band connection account with you , due to your company worst support and payment follow up.. after my so many reminders to customer support service people are issued final settlement letter. The same letter I have attached the for your ref. and records I have settled full and final payment, I am stopped using your broad band connection check you your system and see the my browing details which is available in your system ,.. but still your support services sending irritating SMS and making Calls regularly... which I don't want to receive since I have given payment full and final settlement ..

                  Tata Teleservices Ltd — activation of thousands of SIM's with forged documents

                  i have been observing that all the company's field personals (from top to bottom) of Tata -Teleservices Ltd (Docomo), are engaged in generating false documents for activation of SIMs to achieve their target.Every month they generate more than ten thousand documents in our district only. The activated SIMs are sold in the open market with help of retailers. This is a very dangerous trend as you know our district is Naxal pron area. Criminals use these SIMs for criminal activities and the innocent peoples in whose name the SIM is activated are harassed by the police.

                    With due regards I would like to submit that I bought a Tata photon netsetter card in May 2010 from the aforementioned address and was promised services at Katghora, Chattisgarh and I got the services till October 10 , 2012 after which the network in the above mentioned area was shutdown abruptly , without any prior notice.The plaint is regarding the failure of services for which I took due measures to talk to the customer care in the same month to register a complaint for the issue and was provided with the information that it was a temporary failure occurring due to network optimization work undergoing then and that there was no need of registering any complaint. But on non-performance on their part I again raised a complaint on 15th November 2012 and was allotted a service request number-SR198 type trouble ticket "[protected]" for photon number [protected] stating that the resolution would be done by 17th November 2012.Forthwith, I received a sms on my alternate number [protected] stating that the resolution time for the ticket number was increased to 19th November at 21:00 hours , followed by a sms informing that their engineer would call me to fix an appointment before visiting my location for repair work.
                    Again on 19th November 2012 I received a sms stating that the service request for my photon number was resolved but in reality no promised measures were taken by the company i.e. no personnel did contact me neither were the network service reinstated. Ergo , I complained again for the above cause on 30th Nov. 2012 and got a service request number[protected] promising the problem to be resolved by 3rd Dec. 2012.To add to my woes , I was sent a bill on 27.11.2012 for Acc No:[protected] BS no. 30D in which I was charged full billing cycle for my plan Rs. 1,118.00 excess the visiting charges of the engineer talked above but in reality no such thing had happened.Adding further, I got a call from the company on 16th Nov. 2012 regarding the deposit of the bill and the lady used rude language and tried to pressurize me for the payment at a time when I was engaged in some private course of activity and it affected me badly resulting into the loss of fulfillment of the purpose.Sir, I am a humble and modest person and a faculty in an engineering college.
                    I again sent an email regarding the above immediate cause and also received an intimation urging some measures on my part.Sir , I would like to humbly add that by virtue of my profession I don't get much time to engage myself in unproductive works, hence I ignored it.
                    Later on , this series of events repeated itself and is continuing.I tried several attempts on my part to get the issue redressed alongwith the new issue of billing being continued till date.Also to add, I got hanged up on the calls to the customer care on various occasions and the company harassed me through its recovery department by actions of meeting in person in situations where I needed to discharge my duties.Sir, I also suffered from chest pain out of nervousness on some occasions and got into a state of mental trauma and depression, apart from the losses arising out of non-performance on the part of the company.The chain of events is continuing till date and today I received a call from [protected] saying that I ought to pay the bill within 30 minutes or a fine of Rs. 35,000/- would be levied on me , additionally forcing me by creating fear in my mind by stating himself to be a personnel from the " Soochna Vibhag,New Delhi".

                    i have a tata indicom phone numnber[protected], which got damaged and i asked the tata indicom people to provide me with a new set taking nominal charges but to my surprise even the nodal officer appointed by the company is helpless...-please help me to get my services restored immediately as i am facing lots of problem because of non connectivity with my office people...

                    Tata Tele Services Limited. — Discontinue Services without prior Notice

                    I am using a Tata Proton Plus Data Card [[protected]]. Before[protected] my Tariff Plan was HSIA 3 [protected]@850. on[protected] i had give amount of Rs.1000/- against my dues as Full & Final Payment till date via Receipt No.1552782 Dated.

                    Also i give a request to change my existing plan to Unlimited Plan with a monthly commitment 950/-. And Next Day i had confirm from customar care center that, is that my plan changed or not? Customar Care had confirmed that now you can use your porton plus as unlimited and your plan is changed.

                    On[protected] my services had discontinued by Tata without prior notice and they told me that you should pay Rs.3700/- for your additional uses. Let me know when my previous plan had been changed in Unlimited Plan in that case how Extra Uses is possible for the same.

                      Then photon executive lied to me that by offering me unlimited service for next 2 months for free of cost and gave me a plan that was worth Rs.250. Also at the end of 2 months I will have option to continue with disconnection if chosen.

                      Now I have got bill of Rs. 838, when I asked about the details the executives are telling me whole new policy. I need waiver of the same and discontinue the service ASAP.

                      1. It is disgusting that people at TATA don't have the habit of giving any clarity to the customer.
                      2. You may not know the truth that the people under you don't even know the Email id of Nodal or Appellate or who he or she is?? Though I have shared the details with your team. Please work on their training and ask them to be transparent and gather all the needed information. The customer satisfaction or a positive feedback looks ridiculous to them.

                      Seriously TATA has offended me, till last month I had many good things to say but now NONE. If TATA is okay to loose a customer forever then its pretty fine with me.

                      Anyway help me to get rid off the horrible services provided by TATA by disconnecting it ASAP and providing me waiver of this bill of Rs. 838.

                        I want to submit a complaint of mental torture and harassment against Tata Teleservices. I had purchased the tata photon+ with the account number[protected]. Due to their poor services and pathetic customer care response, I disconnected my broadband services. The last e-bill which I received from tata was dated 24-Feb-2011. A bill with an outstanding amount of Rs 515 was generated and mailed to me. After that I never received any calls or reminder emails from Tata Teleservices to pay the outstanding bill.

                        Suddenly, on 16-Jan-2013 I received a call from [protected] and the lady on the other side told me that a case under Indian Penal Code 403 has been filed against me with the file number DL116 in Tees Hazari Court. I was told to call on +91 [protected]/+91 [protected] numbers and talk to Advocate D K Malhotra who is handling my file. On speaking with Mr Dheeraj Kumar at +91 [protected] I got to know that Tata Teleservices had filed a complaint against me for the non payment of the bill. I was threatened that if I don't pay the bill by 5:30 PM 16 Jan 2013 then the case file DL116 will be proceeded further and the case will have to be settled inside Court premises. I was told that if I pay the bill then NOC will be provided to me by end of day 16-Jan -2013. I paid the due amount but never received any NOC from anybody on this.

                        This is a complete mental harassment and torture on the part of Tata Teleservices. If they can send the e-bills, they can also send the reminder mails/calls from their customer care for the bill payment. There was no reminder mail or call in last approx 2 years and what I receive is a threatening call after 2 years for the outstanding bill payment of INR 515.
                        Tata Teleservices should be held responsible for this misbehavior with the customer and the mental torture and harassment in this case.

                          I asked for the charges about the safe custody service to the customer care and then with out my permission the customer care executive proactively deactivated my connection . I have the written communication from customer care executive that they will only put my connection in safe custody after getting my confirmation .

                          After that I approached customer care 100 times to activate the connection , but they told it can not be activated until and unless I pay some amount to the local customer care service with my residential proof . I am travelling abroad , so I can not make call to them and for me also it is not possible to visit the local customer care. My parents are suppose to use the connection in absence of me in India but they are not able to because of the connection has been blocked .

                            Hi,

                            About 8 months to one year ago, i have opted for a postpaid TATA Photon Plus connection, and for a while all the services and relationship between myself and the merchant went well. But, recently i have resolved to convert my postpaid internet connection to prepaid, and i proceeded further with the process in November' 2012. Following are the steps that i took in order to convert my postpaid connection to prepaid:

                            1. I initially cleared the outstanding amount of Rs. 1400, as on November 3rd' 2012. Please see the attachments of Bank Statement-Transaction Summary and Payment Acknowledgment Email received by the merchant services, as proofs that outstanding amount was indeed made just before actually proceeding with the Prepaid conversion process.

                            2. I then made a visit to the TATA Docomo outlet at KPHB colony, Road NO.1, Kukatpally, Hyderabad., on the 4th of NOV'2012.

                            3. The merchant executive, checked his intranet details to check if there is any outstanding amount. Realizing that an online payment has been made before day, he generated an e-complaint and request on behalf of my postpaid account, for converting it into prepaid. However, he suggested me i go to the TATA Docomo outlet at Madhapur, beside police station, to complete the entire process of submitting ID Proofs and application form essential to convert the postpaid connection into a prepaid.

                            4. As suggested by the TATA DOCOMO executive at KPHB outlet, i made a visit to TATA Docomo outlet at Madhapur, beside police station., on the 5th of NOV'2012 (Monday) around 7:00 PM.

                            5. As i spoke with the TATA DOCOMO executive, he checked his intranet and found that already an e-complaint was raised on my behalf by the TATA DOCOMO executive at KPHB outlet.

                            6. He then guided me with filling in of the application form, collected the ID Proofs essential to convert my postpaid connection to a prepaid connection. Took Photographs along with ID Proofs and generated the process.

                            7. Within a span of 2-3 business working days, on 8th NOV'2012, i have received continous emails by the merchant customer care that the Issue request put forward for converting my prepaid connection is resolved. Please see the attachments of Issue Resolved Acknowledgment Email received by the merchant.

                            8. On top of which, my postpaid connection was terminated from the services, the minute the issue was resolved. See attachement of Service Terminated with a message "PPP LINK CONTROL PROTOCOL WAS TERMINATED" .

                            9. On top of all the above, i receive a call from the customer care, asking me to recharge my prepaid connection.

                            NOW ANSWER ME? WHY AM I AT ALL SUPPOSED TO PAY ANY KIND OF AMOUNT, AS BEING HARRASED BY THE TATA TELESERVICES LIMITED?

                            ANSWER MY FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:

                            QUESTION 1: If at all there was an outstanding amount, why did any of the TATA DOCOMO executives at TATA DOCOMO outlets allow me and help me to proceed with the postpaid to prepaid conversion process? That too, both the executives at both the outlets KPHB and MADHAPUR? Twice?

                            QUESTION 2: If at all there was an outstanding amount, and say the merchant executives failed to check properly, when the request was generated to start the conversion process, Why was it resolved?

                            QUESTION 3: What do you expect the customer to infer from the message "YOUR REQUEST NUMBER IS RESOLVED!" Is the customer not supposed to think that its done?

                            QUESTION 4: What the hell is your database system which sends an payment acknowledgment mail but cannot record that after that particular payment, a request has been put up at an authorized outlet to convert it from postpaid billing cycle to prepaid billing cycle?

                            QUESTION 5: How can it even send the e-bill after terminating the postpaid services to a customer, and inspite of he/she not utilizing even a single KB of the postpaid plan opted?

                            QUESTION 6: Inspite of failing to answer all the above, answer me, why will any customer care representative from TATA Teleservices Limited, call me and ask me to recharge my prepaid internet connection recently converted, if there was any outstanding amount left?

                            P.S: I AM NOT LEGIBLE TO PAY A SINGLE PENNY, AS I WAS DIRECTED BY THE MERCHANT OFFICIALS AT LEGALLY AUTHORIZED OUTLETS THEMSELVES, WITH MY ISSUE GETTING RESOLVED.

                            I CONDEMN THIS HARRASMENT OVER ME BY TATA Teleservices phone calls to pay the outstanding amount and I VERY KINDLY REQUEST AN ACTION TO BE TAKEN AND HOPE THIS GETS RESOLVED IN A PEACE MANNER POSSIBLE.

                              Since TATA Teleservices will close down their operations from NE region, i am also trying to close my TATA Photon plus account from last one and half month.I have a Bill of around Rs 1500 so i asked them to take the photon plus data card which they sold to me at the time of taking the connection @ Rs 1200 as this device is of no use (CDMA) . I was willing to pay[protected] = 300 to them but they were not willing. By that time they added another month's bill of Rs 300 where i have not used their services at all.

                              Today TATA teleservices sent me a legal notice for recovery of outstanding dues. Why should i pay for the CDMA data card since TATA Teleservices will not provide their services in future also this device is not portable to any other operators services. I am ready to return their data card as my connection is 6 month's old.

                              Tata Teleservices Ltd. has been charged along with Aircel Ltd. for unauthorized 3G network distributions. Hence for past 4 months they are providing only 2G network and has practically no network in most regions.
                              "The device once sold will not be taken back" this was the reply from employee at their DOCOMO Shop. They do not compromise on the bill amount. So you may apply for disconnection soon or they'll keep charging you monthly bills. I have payed more than Rs.2000 bill amount for no usage of data, just because i got the legal document. I disconnected my account and the device is of no use as such. I guess we should send them the legal notice for exploiting its customers.

                                  I bought a TATA PHOTON mobile internet connection (dongle) in April 2012. 2 months back i called up Customer care and requested them to change my bill plan and then they did so. When i received my new Bill, 'Churn Out Fees' of INR 1000/- was charged to my connection. When i enquired over the phone from customer care, they said it is because i have changed my bill plan, i have been charged this amount.

                                  1. This is a corporate connection and bill is paid my me from my account
                                  2. Tata says that they have informed my company about these charges but i was never informed so during the Verification call they gave to me
                                  3. I was not informed about this fees when i requested for a bill plan change
                                  4. They have disconnected my connection for more than a month now and are making so many calls to me for clearing this amount
                                  5. I have written them a series of emails but they just say the complain is closed from their end

                                  Please help me, this is disturbing my official and personal life now....

                                    This is to bring to your notice that I had requested for a disconnection of Broadband & Telephone services on 21stSept2012 (The Docket#: Broadband –[protected], Land line[protected], the said services were disconnected but the billing for the Month of September was incorrect. As per the plan there was to be a discount of 45% of the monthly plan but for some reason this discount was not applied for the entire duration of September 2012. I raised a complaint for the same but didn't get any resolution even after repeated communication.
                                    I now received a notice from SA Associates (Victoria Layout Bangalore) demanding to pay the bill amount with interest + legal fees of Rs.500/-. This amounts to mental harassment for no fault of mine.

                                      I paid Rs 3600 as rent for broadband services for 12 months( 2 periods of 6 months each) as per their SMS offer. The periods in question were for 30/8/2011 to 26/2/2012 and 27/2/2012 to 29/8/12. This payment was made on 14/11/2011 as per their bill totaling to 4215.
                                      On 2nd April the company sent me a bill in which they did not consider the existing rent plan and changed it unilaterally charging me rent, although my previous plan was still effective. I then approached their local office, tried to call their 800 No. and not receiving reply sent them email. They confirmed receipt of the email, replied me with an assurance that investigation will be made.
                                      I then got a reply that the charges were in order. I then sent them the details of my payment of Rs.3600 and still nobody checked the previous record. Legal notices were sent to me and one fine morning I was called by their Advocate from Delhi threatening me to go ahead with legal proceedings. I went to their regional office here in Ahmedabad with all the papers and after spending about 4 hours of agitating time finally they agreed that I was right and they will finalize the matter within 24 hours. This was on 28/7/2012. I called the person concerned the next day but of no use. The matter remained pending and is still pending.
                                      I received a legal notice yesterday(Dec 6,2012) again for the same matter. On calling the office again I am being tossed between two of their departments which should not be the case as it is their interdepartmental matter they have to settle.
                                      In fact, I should not have had to go through all this as they had all the details with them, all the paperwork. I have gone through lot of mental agony, No refund is forthcoming. I should be reimbursed for all this trouble. My services have been suspended illegally, I can not get new service provider with the old mobile No.
                                      If, I had been in US, just one phone call would have been sufficient to get the matter settled, company would have offered me apologies and would have rewarded me with compensatory gifts.
                                      I think, it is too much to expect here in India, as companies are only interested in procuring business and advertising about customer services and satisfaction.
