On the 21st of January, I had sent a package for a local delivery within Bangalore. The package is a customized calendar made to order. The shipping number is HRD74823245. On the morning of 24th January (Monday). I saw that the status of the package was showing as out for delivery, but it did not get delivered on that day. I checked the status once again on the 25th January (Tuesday), the status showed as delivered on the 22nd itself. This was contradictory to what I saw on the day before. So, I checked with the consignee to see if they have received the package.
But the consignment did not reach the concerned consignee.
After repeated follow ups, on the 31st January, they shared a delivery sheet which had a signature against the name of the consignee to whom it was sent. But this was not the signature of the consignee. There was no name or phone number of the person who had signed and received.
So, I had to follow up further to check on this. Today I received a call from one Mr. Kiran (phone number [protected]), who is the delivery person from Professional courier. He asked me to share the tracking number for him to check, which I did.
He then called me at 7:17 PM today and confirmed that he has lost the package. He has delivered it at a wrong address and he is not able to trace it now.
I need the money for the product and the courier charges, amounting to Rs. 650 back for this lost shipment.
The Professional Couriers customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
