I have made my annual subscription for TOI on 15/4/2022 with Subscription ID CH[protected]. Before placing the order, I called up the customer care number and verified if the newspaper will be delivered with out any default this time around as I series of issues in the past. Newspaper was not regularly delivered during my previous subscriptions. I was promised that the customer service will sort all the issues and start delivering from 18/04/2022 (Day01) for my subscription. Inspite of the promise your team has made, I havent received the newspaper till date.

Everyday I have been calling the customer care and raising the issue and the lady who speaks to me promised me that the issue will be resolved and the newspaper will be delivered from next day. Inspite of the false promises she makes everyday, I havent received the newspaper yet. She gave the phone number of Area Manager (Keshav Prasad[protected] to speak with directly. This phone number is switched off all the time.

Today I spoke with a person called Parthiban (who introduced himself as the Manager for the customer service) did not sound to resolve the issue. He seemed to interested in disconnecting the call, without taking any step to understand the issue. Though he said he will speak to the Area Manager.

I have spent several hours everyday to resolve this issue for the past three days. Hope someone in the system will resolve this immediately so that I get my newspaper from tomorrow (21/4/2022) atleast, else let me know the procedure to refund the amount I paid.

I am a regular subscriber of toi for many years. Last four years have been subscribing in Chennai. This year could not subscribe since the link sent to me could not be verified with my mobile number. Last year after the paper was not delivered for 3 months was not sure whether to subscribe or not. Was regularly getting calls from officials regarding renewal. When Mr Sebastian from Chennai office said he will make sure that I get paper regularly, i renewed my subscription. This year again subscribed through himans paid 899/- though online msg showed 399/- . He said prices have increased and 399/- is for half yearly and 899/- for yearly subscription. Gave the cheque on 2nd April and he said it will start from 7 th. But till date no newspaper, initially, he said vendor problem, though am at the same address and same vendor is coming daily. I don't know what the problem is? But, toi shouldn't be taking subscription money if they can't deliver.

I had a subscription of TOI daily, I have shifted to new address, asked TOI customer service team for change of address, they said they were unable track my subscription, this went on for a week, finally I decided to go with another subscription and paid.
They told that I will start receiving news paper from 14th April, I am still waiting and chasing. The area manager for OMR, Navalur is pathetic. No proper response. Not sure what...

I have subscribed for yearly news paper subscription from past 5 years. During Covid time the news paper distribution has been stopped and didn’t resume till date. But I end up paying subscription amount every year. Even logged complaint with Times Group customer service Center. No response from them. Sent multiple emails to their CRM. No response. I want resolution here.

I have been struggling with TOI support/CRM team for more than a week now. I have requested a refund for my subscription with customer ID DL[protected] and can't explain the pain in dealing with TOI support team.

They do not answer calls, i have been trying for almost 4 days now and more than 50 calls and they do not answer. Have been sending them email everyday but with no luck. They are holding my money for no reason when I have clarified i do not need their services and twice they confirmed they are initiating a refund and post which above is the story where they are now not answering any phone or sending a response over email.

Can't imagine a consumer has to go through all this in a modern era with a leading newspaper company.

Such a horrific experience with TOI. Please can someone help me getting my money refunded.

It seems I did a mistake buying their services which I am sure I will never repeat. I am never going to be a consumer of TOI services.

I usually read your newspaper on every Sunday because I am a student and it is very helpful for my study. I never face any difficulty to read, but I got a spelling error in news on MARCH 13TH 2022 on page no. 8 which was related to ITBP while it was printed as ITPB in detail. So kindly request you please check the errors before print newspaper.

Times of India distributors fooling people with their yearly subscription. We have subscribed to their yearly subscription of vijaya karnataka newspaper on Mar 4th 2022. We paid amount of Rs 1099 via PhonePe - [protected]. Person by name Niranjan collected and no receipt was given for it. He said receipt will be generated once subscription is activated online in the system.

However, so far we have not received any receipt for it. Also, the newspaper delivery are irregular. Everytime, we call them they blame on vendors.

I've been with TOI as a customer for many years, it's been habitual for me to read the paper daily in the morning. Very good insights I use to get from TOI.

I have relocated from Chennai to Bangalore this month. I raised a request to transfer my subscription to get continued in Bangalore in Feb'2022, I came to know from Customer care that it's not possible (Wondered why this is not possible?), and they suggested better your transfer to someone here in Chennai. I requested them to end my subscription and pay my balance back, they said fine and raised a request.

Multiple mails, Multiple calls, no action so far. Today simply they closed the ticket without resolving it.

Secondly, Bitter experience with the Bangalore TOI team too, I called the TOI office and requested for a new subscription, they said 1 year - Rs.1099/- and they gave a person contact who seems to be an agent (Mr. RaviChandran) for my area where I live. Basically, I live in SMR Vinay Galaxy, A-1207, ITPL Whitefield Main Road, Hoodi Circle. I called Ravichandran multiple times and finally I managed to talk to him for new subscription, he informed to go for 6 months subscription (Rs.899/-), I said I need 1 year subscription and he finally said okay and informed me that he will send a link for payment. I tried calling him multiple times, no response till now.

This is the current state of affairs in TOI.

I have lots of respect on TOI and tried calling griveance Redressal number given[protected] and funny part is "Number is not working". I don't know where to go now. Only way is to send mail or I will knock the consumer court.

I believe after seeing this mail, TOI won't let me to go to that level and address my concerns.

TOI had called me offering 1 year newspaper subscription for Rs. 999 which would start within 7 days of making full payment. After making payment for this 1 year subscription, it's been 20 days now and there's no sign of newspaper delivery. I think they don't have any vendors who will deliver for them. When i called their customer relations management (CRM) team they just keep asking me to wait as they are working on my subscription request. I didn't make the payment for them to just sit on it and have customer keep waiting for newspaper for ever. I have requested them for refund of my money to which they are saying they will discuss with finance deptt and get back !

I subscribed & paid advance payment valid till 16 MARCH 23 for TOI copy to be delivered. My subs ID is also i didnt get the sales man mr tarun from visakhapatnam his no [protected] dont lifting my phone and i paid full amount to TOI account only .my name is namet khandelwal mob no- [protected],
Since 16 march 22 there is no delivery of TOI copy though the other subscriber in nearby flats are getting it regularly.
I sent 6 email to crm.[protected]@timesgroup.com apart from many v
calls to customer care. Every time I get a system generated reply but till now nothing changed & i am still not getting the TOI copies.
Highly paiful experiences.

I live in MGR Road Nanganallur, Chennai. Every day the newspapers are delivered late, that is between 7.30 to 8.00AM. Inspite of complaining to the delivering boy and agent ( Mr. Pandian) directly, still papers are delivered late. Also nowadays papers are not delivered in a proper manner. The delivering boy just throw the paper which gets scattered here and there. Sometimes i find the paper in the roof top of adjacent building. This is not acceptable.
It has been months since I read newspapers before leaving for work. Check on this issue and take necessary action as soon as possible.

From last week I'm observing that there are 2 or 4 pages less as what is written in front page of the newspaper. If we are paying full amount for the newspaper than why aren't we getting all pages.
The newspaper I receive is Times of India, Dehradun

The given Spellathon is different from the solutions. Given Spellathon doesn't even contain the letter C which is given in the solutions on Page 8 dated 20th March 2022 on Bangalore times.

With respect to subject, in Times Of India, Dated 18 March 2022, Bangalore Times mentioned wrong SPELLATHON with respect to the solutions given in the page 12.

Subscription no HY[protected] for delivery at Mansarovar villas no 23 is not being delivered.
Please ask the vendor Jaleel deputed by Mr Ishaaq executive to regularise delivery.

The advertisement is a fraudulent advertisement, they have taken 4500/- plus 999/- rupees and then additionally asking for 4550/- extra saying you have to transfer 4550 and not 4500.

The vendor refused to deliver newspaper to my house in Villa Anandam society in Meerut road ghaziabad pin 201001,
After repeatedly asking why he is not delivering ti my house and he comes daily in the society, he says it his choice to deliver or not, I am a TOI reader since last 20 years and because of this illiterate vendor I am unable to get my daily newspaper. Please look into this .
