SAI SANDHYA BUILDING — PROPERTY TAX

I own a flat. our society is not registered. land is on the name of owner and not on the name of builder. now who shall pay property tax????
in this building there are 3 big flats and 8 small if property tax should be paid by flat owners how the amt should be divided????

Try calling Times of India office and the number never reaches or is out of order and the people who work there have no manners. Telephone etiquette lacks and frankly the infrastructure of presonnel is worse than any normal mid-level office. What a sham!!!
I think some serious revamping is needed. As an MNC head I found it shocking when we wanted to paste an add and the first reaction was if HIndu was in the scene. That is not how you treat potential customers. It's called Customer Service Management Systems. And for your kind information- customers make your pay!!!

This is a regular issue. I have not received Times of India News Paper for two days- on 1st June and 11th June. On 1st June I was told that it was due to rain !!!
I mostly get the paper after 8.30am and as such I am unable to read them.

I do agree with you Mr.N.C.R.Nair, I reside near kalveerampalayam and i'm also experiencing similar problem.For the past three days, there was no issue of "Times of India".I have called their customer care number of times and they say they'll take strict action.But, Only in words.

It is erratic delivery of the newspaper. I was in Delhi and used to reading this paper for decades. I am, however, appalled that its supply in Coimbatore is erratic. I was out of station for about 4 months and the arrangement was that the house maid would pick up the paper daily and give it to my neighbor. The vendor stopped supplying paper from about mid August. I came back and inquired of him. He very coolly said that I was not there he stopped supplying the paper even though I had paid one year subscription in advance!

Is ToI listening to me?

The paper delivery boy is just throwing the paper in open area(no roof area) and entire paper is getting wet due to rain, this is happening for last 15 days. We are not able to read the paper. The very purpose is getting lost. I advised the boy and no response. Can you pl advise the dealer, else you can stop service to my house since any how we are not able to read any thing out of it

The News paper delivery boy is just throwing the paper in open place and it is getting wet
and told him many times then I have kept a plastic bag for New Paper he dropped for few days
now again he just throwing the paper though the plastic beg is found at my door step

On 8.12.2011 one of your rep. came to my office and advised me to subscribe to the Times of India afresh instead of renewing old subscription so that I could avail a special offer of one Rebok bag and some economic magazine along with the subscription and I paid him Rs.299/- by cheque No.221033 dated 8.12.2011 on Central Bank of India. The Bank has debited the same from my account. He had no receipt book with him and told me that Times of India rep. would come to be during first week of Jan.2012, but no one turned up and I am not receiving any paper. Residing in Saravanampatti, I like times and economic times paper very much I couldn't find times news paper in this area.
I tried to find out distributor one year ago, he gave me the contact and explained other paper vendors try to suppress this news paper distributors in this area.I tried reacing that distributor with the given Mobile number, he promised me to deliver, but never turned up.I switch to other papers.
Last week I found one person distributing news paper while going for morning walking, I shown my house and given advance as well for Times of India paper.He gave me contact number [protected] and he said his name as Nandakumar.1st day it is delvered, another 2 days there was no paper delivered, i was thinking he might be ill or sick, after 3 days I called him and he said there is an other distributor in this area he will deliver papers for me, he will pass a message to him.There was no news paper till now, when ever I call he didn't picks the call.

Kindly address this issue in saravanampatti area, I wish Times Group papers in this area.

During april 2013 unfortunately 4 persons died due to fire accident at a complex and the district authority in a hurry ordered sealing of buildings which are deviated from norms if same is strictly followed then almost 90 percent of buildings are to be sealed including collectorate, municipal, police stations, register offices, rtos, FM stations, 90percent banks, tasmac bars which lack the parking and stability norms. Instead of doing the corporation even sealed the buildings which are taxed by them and occupied by the building owners( eventhough some of them havinhg parking and fire safety ). But the authorities intentionaly left the giant shops ( where people assemble in lacs)pothys, chennai silks, ganapathy silks, sridevi textiles and leading jewellery joy alukkas.jos alukkas, semmanur.and somany other state business people shops are untouched and also 20 crores of tax from cell phone towers is not collected from 2011 eventhough the resolution passed at the corporation council and the above all reflected in the times.indian express, dinamalar dinathanthi as a scattered news and against RTI request the shameless authorities accept the above but the above dosenot reach our CM MADAM .

From the above it is clear that instead of improving fire safety ( the coimbatore city developed in folds in the 10 years but is there fire and other safety equipments increased/updated. No addition of fire stations to augment present population of buildings and people and after fire it takes one to two hours to reach the place eventhough at heart of the city an how to save the lives) and hiding the reality the authorities are doing injustice to the public and giving wrong information to the govt then how will people get safety cover from government and authorities fear to putforth the fact of lack of fire safety for the big 100 wards coimbatore corporation eventhough the revenue incraesed in folds and fire stations and equipemnts remain same for the last 20 years .Is it justice for the civil servants to pass the ball on public alone to safeguard their post and promotion .


The intention of authorities making a few buildings as scapegoat for their files and leaving the giants and failure to correct govt buildings for safety ( even collectorate old buildings wont withsatnd heavy rains but still are in use like that somany offices in coimbatore) is to be brought to the notice of our CM AMMA through the channels

keeping all this on mind we have sent the following to the authorities and we request your support to reveal the truth to the govt and implement uniform rule to all .

My subsn No. is IAA 023363. I got the paper y/day i e on 14.02.2011 (launch day) at around 8 a.m.
I accepted there may be delay on the first day of delivery. However, today till now 12.30 the paper is
not supplied. Upon a telephonic complaint at 8.30 a.m. today (over phone 4201222) I was told that
it would be supplied within 3 hours. I wonder how the company is going to survive at coimbatore
where we want to read newspaper at max. 8 a.m. If it continues, I may have no other option than
taking up with Consumer Council for remedy.

I agree with the above post. Once upon a time The Times of India used to be a very good newspaper true to thier logo -Let Truth Prevail. But now a days it has become just a glam magazine. In all the city editions like Bombay times, Pune times etc why is it all about bollywood and actressess?? There is so much happening in the city, can't you'l print that. which actor did what to promote which film and wore what at a party is more important than city happenings?? and they give it a title as 'Pune times' and it has nothing to say about that city!
moreover they print all sleazy pictures, even so in editions like Pune mirror.
would you like your yong son/daughter to see those pictures when he/she picks up the newspaper in the morning??
media is an important factor in moulding our society. and look where our society is heading to!
Why is the media council so loose on thier hold, why isn't any action taken till now on these issues?
and moreover this is a problem with all newspapers that if there is a certain disaster they will print that in bold on front page. Please go through Abdul kalam's speech where he has mentioned of the Indian media being so negative. why can't we print of the progress of our country, educational information, good happenings on the front page, and all the news with negations in the inside pages??
Tody if there is no peace, crime rates have increased and less patience among people it is because media is sending messages indirectly about being negative.
My suggestion to the Newspaper council: WAKE UP!!

It is hightime that we bycott these news paper and Times related hype

I have been an ardent reader of times of India since childhood. Its been observed over the recent years that the pune times, and mirror have just turned into a glam magazine.
The pictures printed are obscene and indecent. Early morning, if you tell your kids to get the newspaper from the door, you think what if the kid see the pictures?
All o[censored]s have enough stress in life to handle already. Why can't we have more positive and good sensible news on front pages and the news on terrorism, mishaps inside?
All we have in Pune times is bollywood masala news on front page. Then why give it the title as "Pune times" It should be given as Bollywood times. The same is the case with Bombay times and other city times. Why do newpaper people need such cheap marketing gimmicks to sell thier newspaper? Don't the newpaper editors have some integrity? Why is there need of such masala articles and semi nude photos, and westernised trends? What for? This attitude is harmful to the society.
Can't we expect some responsibility on behalf of these newpapers, some decency??

Yes there are good articles on stress handling etc inside but just 1 or 2.
Newspapers are the 4th Estate and a powerful media source that shapes society. Have become so inhuman to not see the ill effects of such things on society in the long run. I used to like times of India logo -Truth Triumphs. I hope it is followed more soon enough.
All i have to say is We being responsible citizens of India which speaks so proudly of its rich heritage must try to put a stop to matters that hinder the progress of overall society.
I wish to stop the circulation of Pune Times but it is not an individual booklet, so it seems i will have to stop buying Times Of India Completely!

True We must Boycott such newspapers. Times of India, the city times booklet is no good. and you can't stop the issue of just this booklet as it is provided with the main newspapers. SAVE INDIA. BOYCOTT TIMES OF INDIA!!!

Earlier we were residing at O.No.23, N.No53,Surappan Street,Triplicane,Chennai-600005 and now we shifted our place to Pallikarnai, So we requested to transfer the TOI Paper Subcription to our new Pallikarnai Address by sending mail to crm.[protected]@timesgro dated31 May.
As of now we are not receiving the papers for past 2 months and there was no responds from TOI executives or from their customer care support, we are really upset with their service. Their executives are good until they take orders once it was taken they didn't even care to check whether the paper is being delivered or not. Many calls to their customer care service ended in vain, either there will be no one to pick the call or they will be saying that the executive would call us soon. We are fed up writing mails to them. Press / Media is meant to help people and solve their problems not to create problems to public.

I agree. Even I am not getting the Bangalore Mirror from Monday (28th March). When asked he said, Times of India is charging for the Bangalore Mirror now, so we are not giving it free. Is that true Times of India charging for the Bangalore Mirror?? anybody is aware of that??

I stay in Maithri Layout, Hopefarm Circle, Bangalore and the TOI vendor is monopoly and he often cheat customers, he collects advance to cheat customer, his attitude and behavior is worst.

If house is locked then they did not deliver the paper and asks for bill, and get dispute and is often their ways.
