I had subscribed for TOI and Mirror for one year by paying SBI cheque of Rs.1175 dt.05.06.2019, vide Oder no. TAC05521.
I followed up with help line no. [protected] and I was told we will check for the payment received. However, in the next call after a fortnight I told that the amount has been debited from my account. It was told we will get back to you, but no one responded.
In the mean time I misplaced my order copy and hence we not having any reference, so could not contact TOI.
During lockdown, I tried contacting the above no and other nos of Ahmedabad, many numbers were not responding and there was no one to handle the matter.
Lately I could get [protected] as the customer complaint no. I called then and narrated the same story, and I was assured that the coupons shall be sent to my address. But, no coupons were received by me. So, again after about a month I called again and the same thing happened. I had to narrate the story again and after waiting till date, no action seems to have happened.
Then, I had gone to Complaint section of TIMES OF INDIA and could see SIMILAR no of complaints. Now I am writing in this forum in hope that my issue gets resolved.

I have subscribed the newspaper for two years but yet I have not received it from 5 months I thought in lockdown it was not coming but it is still not coming till date please do the needful

Because the vendor is not available and i have been given to understand by the times of india employee who handles subscription that he has left for his native place without informing about any date of return (Also he is not answering the calls) i have not been receiving the delivery since lockdown has been lifted / june 2020.

Requesting to either change my vendor or refund my amount immediately.

Since one week in our apartment TOI has been supplied only half of the pages.
Hyderabad Times we are missing and additionals we are missing.
22nd August paper shows 44 pages but received only 18 pagess.
When we have asked the paper boy, he says that what I am getting that only I am giving.

Please find out whether your people are not giving or paper boys mischief.

I booked for 6 months subscription and it was supposed to start from 19th Aug but it has not been started yet.I tried calling customer care but no response from them.The email team hardly bothers to revert to the mails sent.Dont know whom to escalate the issue and get the subscription started as 7 days delay already and i haven't received a single copy of the newspaper

महोदय, मैंने यहीं पर 9 August को एक शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी, नव भारत times लखनऊ ऑफिस के खिलाफ।
परंतु आज 24 August हो गया मुझे कोई समाधान नहीं मिला।
बल्कि मुझे ऐसा मेरे समाचार पत्र डालने वाले व्यक्ति ने बताया की कोई सूर्यप्रकाश जी हैं यहाँ जो ये सब देखते हैं, उनका कहना है की अगले offer आने पर मुझे पुनः cheque देनी होगी तभी कुछ हो पायेगा।
इस पूरे कांड में कहीं से भी मैं जिम्मेवार नहीं हूँ परंतु मुझे ये मानसिक क्लेश झेलना पड़ रहा है।
कृपया समाधान बताएं या करायें।

We have subscibed to the times of india for a period of 1 year. The payment for the same was done on 15th august 2019, however our actual subscription started 3 months later i. E from november 2019. The cheque was issued in the name of bbcl by icici bank and amounted to rs. 699 and the cheque no. Was 000474 which was cleared on 2nd november, 2019. We still haven't received the monthly coupon that needs to be given to the vendor. The vendor has been asking us for the coupons so please send us a confirmation/ proof that we can give to the vendor.

Times of India had not provided me English newspaper dated 19th August 2020, though I have subscribed for it and full payment was also made successfully.

My previous years subscription was not yet complete but then too a collection Executive came for renewal of subscription of T.O.I newspaper for 2 years.
Which I did also

But the situation is NO newspaper since APRIL 2020 till today, may be due to PANDEMIC
But they should give extension in subscription
And
Subscription Coupons also not received yet
No feedback / followup regarding extension of subscription from T. O. I side.
Not even my newspaper vendor is responding

They should have done follow up from there end whether the customer is receiving the newspaper or No.

High price being charged for newspaper per day.
The daily newspaper price is Rs 3.50 on weekday & Rs 4.00 on weekend.
However, the local newspaper agency is charging Rs 10.00 per day for Time of India newspaper.

I have renewed my subscription in july 2020 but my local distributor not issuing the copies for the past 4 weeks as they say that haven't received the coupons. I raised a complaint on 17 july, 2020 (Complaint no:[protected] and there is no update and whenever i call and enquire on the status the person handling the call says 'we will arrange for coupons' but there is no progress.

Yesterday, i called again to enquire about the status they raised a new complaint no.[protected]. Don't know why they raised a new complaint?

Not sure what's happening in the customer service as they knowingly cut the conversation as they didn't know what to response for the query?

Please could you arrange to continue the subscription by providing the coupon or direct the local delivery guy to issue the newspaper without any further delays.

I wanted give one property advertisement in toi/chennai edition. For this purpose i got contact number [protected] from toi itself. Accordingly, i spoke to one mr. Adil. We have discussed, the ad. Matter, the rate and date of publication finalized. Payment also made. The ad. Was to be published on25jul in toi and property edition of chennai edition (Actually it is one only)
And toi and et on 26jul. But, to my utter surprise, the ad. Was not published. When i asked mr. Adil, he said due to some mistake it was not published. He also said, he will publish the same next week. Since, i had my
Reservation about taking refund, reluctantly i agreed. Again the advt was published only in et not in toi. When i asked him about this he said he will compensate by publishing next week. The ad. Was supposed to published under commercial premises and for that only i paid money. However, the ad. Was published under lease/rent all the four days causing lot of mental agony and the effort did not yield any desirous result. I want suitable action against mr. Adil for this grave mistake and his callous attitude towards his job and bringing disrepute to the leading news paper. If asked i can submit all the required details.

I have renewed my subscription for two newspapers the times of india and navbharat times on 14 may 2020. I have not received coupons for the same. My subscription id is : dl[protected].

I had subscribed times of india for one year by making online payment of rs.549/- on 15.06.2020. Despite my repeated requests, coupons have not been issued to me. Every time i am being told that coupons are sent within 25 days after making payment. But it is going to be almost 2 months now since i made the payment. Kindly resolve my issue.

Very saddened by misrepresentation of blood collector/ lineman/ broker/ marketing fellow as pathologist. Pathologists are mbbs with md in laboratory medicine. Kindly verify facts before publishing. Need immediate action against this reporter who verify it from your part & rectify it.

On 22.4.20, i have the subscription money of rs720, but not yet get the coupon and the paper boy is asking for cash payment.

Subscribed for times of india (Toi) not receiving it after giving change of address request.
Requested on 30th june 2020 have sent emails made phone calls raised complaints on toi helpline. Nothing has helped me so far my money is paid in advance and i'm waiting for my subscription, so far more than 100 days i've not received my newspaper tat includes nation wide lockdown.
What a consumer should do?
