This is a complaint regarding my payment not reflecting into the system and your team having no clue as to where my payment is. As you can very well gauge from the trailing mail that how responsive your customer care representatives are. Not a single reply.

Now, during this hour where where penny matters, you guys have taken my money and not even bothering to respond which is odd.
I am attaching the payment proof for your response in the hope that i will get some response besides false promises that"sir we are forwarding your complaint to relevant department who will call you in 24 hours." because for toi, 24 hours mean 24 years i guess.

Complaint about using the title yadav in place of dubey.
In the news paper of 10 july 2020 the times of india published a news about criminal vikas dubey and in that news name of vikas dubey is shown as vikas yadav.
Times of india is trying to defame the yadav community, me n my community is highly disappointed by this.
Pls do the needful otherwise i will follow the same in consumer court.

I have agreed to subscribe times of india english daily for six month on 10th march 2020 and have given cheque for rs.599 vide state bank of india trichy cheque no.814137 and the same was debited on 16th march 2020. But till date i am paying by cash. Inspite of visual and social media delivering g current news at consumer's finger tips.. I wanted to encourage print media. I talked to mr. S. Balachandrasekar officer trichy two times during the month of june 2020. Again i talked on 4th july 2020 and have given the cheque particulars by sms.... Till 8th july 2020 he did not respond called him and remainder sms... Finally this complaint... Enough is enough. I am cancelling my agreed subscription and requested to refund my amount on or before 31st july 2020... Failing which i will be forced to go for legal procedddings

I paid nearly 600 for one year subscription and didn’t even get the newspaper hardly for a month. The worst service ever possible. Think twice or thrice before choosing ur yearly subscription on newspapers.

I had registered my participation in times women’s drive – chennai edition which was supposed to be happening on 15th february 2020. I paid rs 15, 930/- on 26th january 2020. Later we received a communication from your team stating that the event has been postponed to march due to some issue. For which i sent a mail, dated 18th feb 2020 requesting refund of the paid amount as we were not interested in the event any more. After a week i received a mail from you asking me to provide my bank details which i replied immediately. And that’s where i started following up with your team on the refund. I was told that i will be receiving the refund soon but the day never came. After so much of follow up, i got a mail on 6th march asking me to provide a cancelled cheque which also i furnished.

It has been close to 6 months since i made the payment and i have been requesting for a refund

You are advertising on your front page a website - www.newchic.com (A chinese company). They are fleecing the clients. I placed order with them and paid on june 22, 2020. At the time of order, it said that the goods are in warehouse. They had given a tracking number but it still says that goods not yet picked up. I tried to cancel the order immediately after ordering, i was told that it has already been shipped. But tracking still shows that goods are not yet delivered to the courier company.
I ask you to remove this advt as they are fraud and also a chinese company

When paper delivery boy was asked to drop paper, he said "do complaint, i wont get affected, i wont drop paper."

Please resume the delivery of paper and take necessary action.

I have subscribed for times of india newspaper on february 24, 2020 for the period of 1 year.

My subscriber id is hy[protected]., but my local distributor suddenly stopped the delivery of my newspaper from 2nd week of june 2020.

I tried to reach my local distributor several times, but he never responds to my calls. I spoke to the newspaper delivery person, he informed me that my name has been omitted from his delivery list for unknown reasons.

I paid for one year subscription but i am not getting my newspaper. Please do the needful to start the newspaper delivery asap.

Care india medical society is an ngo working for cancer patients since last 27 years. The organization has a hospital named vishranti cancer palliative care hospital which is in existence since 2008 and is located at 804, hakimee corner, bhawani peth, opp. Ajmera society, pune. This hospital does not have a valid registration and licence required to run the hospital. The nursing staff over here is also not well qualified. Inspite of being unregistered, this hospital issues death certificates to patients who are admitted here and who expire in this hospital. This hospital does not have fire safety licence and many other essential government permissions. The hospital authorities give rs. 5000/ as funeral expenses to relatives of deceased patients so that they do not create any issue regarding death of the patient. I have already reported all these things to honourable chief minister of maharashtra shri. Uddhav thackeray sir, collector of pune shri. Naval kishore ram and pune municipal commissioner shri. Shekhar gaikwad. But, surprisingly no one amongst them have bothered to take any action against the organization and the hospital.

Your reputed times of india newspaper (Bangalore) released an ad on 16th june under "other vacancies" - "part time jobs" as follows:

"sms-sending-job, work from home, m/f earn 15000 to 45000 monthly. Reg. Fee 999, mobile, laptop free. Contact hina - [protected], [protected]"

When called (I dont know who's hina - its not she or he who attedned the call. The person attended the call insisted for payment of 999/- and then only he said he would interact further with me.

I remitted cash 999 on 19th june (Ad did.16th) to the account number provided by them as

I confirmed deposit they said ok. But subsequently called were not attedned properly and then they stopped calling me inspite of my several calls to both the numbers. They wanted me to come on whatsapp & i did so. They do not respond till date.

Leave alone assigning any jobs they did not till now send any details asked for w. R. T. The job details. I gues its not a big task to respond.

What prevents you to just reply? What's the motive behind it. I still hope it cannot be cheating as you use in your whatsapp dp jio symbol.. Hope you will not make me take it up further. Plz respond a line in reply. I think you take it very lightly.

Again i sent the details of my deposit on 28th june for which the person talked wanted me to send him a screen shot of my payment details. I sent.

How long plz? Kithna her yoga? Krupaya bathayiye. I want details, complete details for which you advertised in toi & collected my hard earned money from me, a retired person, jobless. Send complete details in writing (English or hindi) to me without any more delay plz. I still believe it's not a fraud, a fake, a bogus. You also said "mobile & lap top free". If you need extra reasonable time for any reason to entrust the job, you may take.
But details in writing to reach me are a must.

Your numbers are mostly switched off. You are not giving proper response. Payment proof has already been sent as above. Hope you will not take it lightly without understanding the seriousness of collecting money without extending any services you assured in your advertisement in times of india, a leading english daily. Send a proper reply in writing plz. Treat it urgent.

July 01 - i deposited money on 19th june. Now it's july. You are not even responding to me properly. You are taking it very lightly after collecting money from me. I made calls but you didn't attend.

Then i sent two voice messages. Reproduced their ad for their immediate reference.

Sorry for such a long response. I am reading your newspaper daily. Watching times now. I have a very high regard & opiniion about you and your sincere dedicated staff. Toi should not be a platform for cheaters. I see a lot of such ads in your daily with different names & contact numbers with similar messages. Its my guess that many retired & jobless people are getting cheated this way using your good name & reputation.

I do not blame the daily at all. But please be alert whilst accepting ads from bad elements. During this pandemic these elements are still making it worst.

They say in whatsapp: jioreliance sms sending jobs. Jio name is misused i think.

Kindly do the needful in whatever way possible.

I have deposited the amount of rs.7500.00 on[protected] vide utr no. Barb[protected] in a/c [protected] ifsc hdfc0001568 name: classified matrimonial, to publish the matrimonial ad in their newspaper column of times classified, however they have publish the ad only once on 15 march 2020. The ad was to be publish 4 times on sundays. We tried to contact mr. Amit ghosh and mrs komal from toi through messages and phone but got no reply.
I request you to kindly refund my amount.

I am no sure if you are the right concerned person to contact on this issue but in case you are not the concerned one, hope you will redirect this mail to the concerned with a copy to me to enable me communicate with the right person.

I have taken a combo offer of Economic times and Times of India offered vendor (Name Ganesh – Mobile No.[protected] Lal Chowki Kalyan West and have paid Rs. 1462 vide State Bank of India Cheque No.748451 which was cleared favouring Bennett Coleman on 18th March, 2020.

While I do agree and understand the COVID 19 problem all over, Just would like to know when I can get the coupons to enable me get my news paper without gaps as the vendor now is not supporting and initially after 10th June, 2020 he started Economic times and after my regular follow up he started Times after one week or so now suddenly he has stopped sending papers since beginning of this week and does not pick up the call or respond on whatsup etc. as I have not received the coupons I am not able to communicate with your good office without any reference etc.

Shall be grateful if you can help me in this and revert. I only hope you have not sent the coupons to vendor directly as I will be at his mercy the whole year for getting the news paper.

After paying for 6 months subscription, newspaper was delivered from 16/03/2020 until 23/04/2020 and due to lock down was discontinued. When the printing was started on 1/4/2020 again delivery was not done as there was no vendor to do it. When contacted Times of India, I was told that the society has blocked the entry of outsiders. I wrote back stating our society has restricted entry of outsiders into the building but like any other supply they could leave the newspaper in the subscribers post box located at the reception. No attempts were made. Hence I had sent a request stating that since they have failed to deliver the news paper, to kindly refund my subscription amount after deducting for 8 days supply. For the last +70 days this matter has not been sorted out. Whenever I call, the response is very sweet and assurance is given to close my complaint. Nothing has happened till today

My mother mrs kiron gupta had renewed her annual subscription of your newspaper "times of india" in feb'20 against reference no: dl[protected].
The renewed services were to get activated from 16th mar'20 till 15th jun'21.

In this regards we regret to highlight our disappointment by stating that till date we have not received any coupons of renewal from your side.

I have already complained twice at your customer service no [protected] but till today my issue has not been resolved.

My newspaper delivery man is creating lots of noise regarding this coupons & has stopped delivering me the paper since last week.

I have made you the entire payment & am still being denied the said newspaper due to your irresponsible behaviour.

Kindly treat this as my complaint and advice as what should i do.

I have not received even a single copy in april'20 due to covid & now am struggling because of non delivery of coupons.

I subscribed e-times of india paper on 1st june 2020 paying subscription of rs.234.82/- for a month (Online payment ref. No. [protected]) whereas it costs rs.147/- for the hard copy delivered at the doorstep by the vendor. Prior to this i used to download pdf and read it comfortably on my laptop/desktop screen till 3rd week of may 2020, that too without paying any subscription. Then they introduced subscription. I noticed on 3rd june 2020 that the pop up for downloading pdf is missing. Withdrawing this facility forced me to go for print command and view each page one by one. This was tedious and time consuming but i could view and read pages one by one on the full screen of my laptop/desktop. But this command was also removed soon after the removal of the pdf download pop up box from the home page of e-paper. However, i continued reading the paper with great difficulty without registering my complaint. I somehow managed to read each page by right clicking the mouse and opting for the print command. I don't understand their sadistic approach as this option was also withdrawn on 20/6/2020. I must mention here that due to corona pandemic i was forced to switch over to e-paper from hard copy. I have been a loyal reader of this paper (Hard copy) for more than 30 years but i am now taken aback by their unprofessional, unethical and autocratic attitude and practices. I don't know why they want to discourage e-paper subscribers to read it when they are saving the cost of paper and printing besides commissions to the vendors at different levels. At the same time they are earning crores through advertisements. I fail to understand the logic and economics behind this move. There are other national level e-papers who are not charging any subscription.
In view of the above i feel this is against the terms and conditions to which i agreed while i paid the subscription. These said features were withdrawn later that too without any prior intimation or apology. This is a complete breach of agreement and this has also led to mental trauma and stress to me. I therefore demand an apology and full refund of subscription.

I made one year subscription payment for times of india and economic times in march 2020 and received confirmation also from the times group.
I have not received the coupons as yet.
Newspaper vendor is constantly asking for these or else he wants me to pay him for the papers.
Pl send the coupons immediately.
