I was at Tanishq Cross Cut Road Coimbatore branch to sell my Tanishq jewelry which I bought about 2 years ago - 1 chain (11.956 grams), one pendant (1.655 grams) and one finger ring (1.617 grams) - total value of the gold was around Rs. 80, 000 as on that date.
I also bought 2 pairs of earrings in of value Rs. 36, 079 and I requested the remaining amount to be refunded into my bank account.
The sales person agreed and took it to the counter for processing.
At the counter, the person processing the bill and operating the system agreed that the old jewelry were all Tanishq jewels. He mentioned that because there is a purchase also, the system cannot process the (Old Gold - New Gold) refund directly and that he had to cut the chain to match the purchase value and the refund value. I found that to be rather odd, but thought it was Tanishq's system limitation to process it.
I asked for the refund value and I gave my cancelled cheque to process the refund.
in the purchase part of the cut chain, he said there was a little more and refunded me Rs. 147 in cash. When I asked for the refund amount for the gold, he mentioned that it will be automatically processed in the system and will be refunded within 7 working days.
It was closing time. They were pulling the shop shutters down. I again asked for the exact refund amount. He said that it is all in the statement and put the bills in a Tanishq envelop and distracted me with requests to invest in Gold savings scheme and such talk.
Now, after 20 days, the amount for my gold has not been refunded into my bank account. When I look for the statement of refund amount in the envelope, it is not there. I am clearly cheated.
Please please help me get back my refund amount. I wanted to sell the jewelry because I needed money and it is not available to me now.
I have been a customer of Tanishq since its inception over 25 years ago and it is my favourite jewelry brand and I did not expect to be cheated here in this manner.
Every jewel I buy is a story for me and every jewel I give in exchange has a history and it Pains me so much that I am cheated at the place I trust very much.
Please Please help me recover my money. It is my hard earned money and I needed it in time for a reason. Please Help.

    I had purchased a TITAN Fastrack Reflex 2.0 bracelet watch in early 2022 which malfunctioned in about October. I had contacted the customer care who asked me to send a video of the issue which I did and then they asked me to hand it over to the nearest TITAN showroom which I did. After a few days, they called me to inform that the watch could not be repaired and they have issued a gift card. I demanded them to issue me a replacement of the same watch as the TITAN showroom had similar watches where I had to pay another Rs.1500 to Rs.5000 and I was not ok for that. I had placed a complaint on 20th Dec, 2022 (Complaint# TKT[protected]) and it still remains unresolved as on 21st Jan, 2023. I have made numerous calls and have spoken to the managers of the escalation team who promise to call me back with a resolution but never stand on their commitment. I would like to have this escalated to the highest office of TITAN.

      Hi, i have purchased Titan smart watch in hyderabad and after few months o[censored]sage. watch is not starting. I have submitted for repair in kukatpally hyderabad nearest center on 23.12.2022. It has been a month time till now and no response. They are telling service center incharge at jubliee hills has family issue, surprise to see the response. They should have an alternative arrangements and should not keep customers to wait for these many long days. Price of the watch is RS 12, 000 and surprise is to see the poor quality of smart watch from Titan. Watch Repair receipt No : 2937 given on 23.12.2022 in sunny watch, kukatpally, they told they will send to jubliee hills service center. Looks like Jubliee hills service center has issues.

          I have purchased FASTRACK WATCH on 24/12/2022 price of Rs.2120/-, but within a month my black colour metal strap faded, when visited showroom they said cannot claim warranty and go complain anywhere can't replace the item. Attached photos of watch and bill.

            I bought two titan watches yesterday from your store, World of Titan, Manuelsons building, round west, Thrissur, kerala 680001. Total amount Rs 8950/- date 16.01.2023, Invoice no 23TTKS[protected]. Invoice copy attached

            Today, since I had some change of mind regarding the product, I went to the same store to exchange the product with some other model watch.
            I selected two other watches for a total amount of approx Rs 5500/-, but the store is not ready to refund me the balance amount after settling with my original invoice of Rs 8950/-.

            I am informed from the store that, as a policy of the company, I can exchange for the same or bigger value products but refund of balance amount to me is not permitted. I must buy some other products (which i don't want to) for the balance amount inorder to settle the transaction.

            On the reverse of the invoice it's mentioned that exchange is permitted within 30 days if it's unused and with permission from the store. It's nowhere mentioned in the invoice, that the balance amount after exchange won't be refunded.

            In this backdrop, I would request to kindly consider my genuine request for refunding the balance amount instead of compelling me to buy any product for the balance amount, which I don't want.

            Instruction/permission may be given to the store for considering my request for refunding the balance amount after exchange.

                    I bought a finger ring from tanishq but they are not providing the services properly i want to make a order for new ring but employee of the tanishq instead to give this option they just modified my ring.

                    At the time of modification they told they will add extra gold but they didn't add any gold they just enlarge the ring without our concern.

                    Before modification they told they will some mg gold will loss but it is loss more that that and they told me it can't be exchange.

                    At the end I have to buy that ring but I can't wear that ring because they didn't provide the perfect finishing

                      Bought the Tanishq on feb 2022 worth app 280000 from Tanishq Jewellery - Hoshiarpur, Phagwara Road. But started wearing on 10 december 2022 on the date of my marriage. Just after one weak of wearing the ear rings turns black and the ear ring pin is also titled from the beginning.

                      I am disappointed with the product performance just after one week of wear. I need the full detail explanation as my hard earned money over it. I did not get satisfactory response from Tanishq Hosiarpur.

                      I will not hesitate to go to the CONSUMER COURT, if i will not get the satisfactory response.

                            Ridiculous service, i recieved from your company, actually I purchased one bracelet from nearest tanishq showroom, after 2 months only, colour are getting light than i gave for replacement they took 1 month for that, then also they are providing me different Meena work gold bracelet.
                            I NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE...THEY ARE WASTING OUR TIME NOTHING ELSE .. YOUR COMPANY ONLY MAKING FOOL, BY SELLING WRONG PRODUCT.

                                I raised a complaint with titan about a bad experience at Titan Store Lulu Mall kochi. But surprisingly even titan customer care is not at all responding to the complaint I raised. I registered complaint to Titan on Nov 25 and till now there is no response from them even after following up may times during this period. The complaint was reported to support emails [protected]@titan.co.in, [protected]@titan.co.in, [protected]@titan.co.in. The reference number is given in the subject also given below.

                                The complaint matter is given below.

                                I gave my Tommy Hilfiger chronograph wrist watch to Titan Store, Lulu Mall, Kochi on September third week to replace it's chipped glass. The watch has manufacturer warranty, however since the glass damage cannot be covered under warranty they told that it is a paid service. Also since the original glass was not available there, they recommended that it can be replaced with another glass which is having good quality. As the original glass needed to be ordered and wait for around 10 days, I agreed to do it as I was convinced by their statement that the glass can fit well and there is no issue in using it. I got the watch repaired on Sep 21st.

                                The very next day on Sep 22nd evening I had to go for a travel and during the first day of travel itself I got an issue with the watch that was forming vapours inside the glass and also it turning to water drops inside the glass. I reached back in two days and the next day I sent an sms to the Store mentioning the issue as a proof as I was planning to go to the store only after a few days due to busy schedule. As I didn't get any response from them I also tried to contact Titan World Support thru google with the photo as well. As I felt it complicated, I decided to go to the store and gave the watch for fixing the issue.

                                I went there on October 5th, but they just cleaned the water inside the glass and tried to give it back to me (I must say the cleaning was very poor and there were faded areas inside the glass). I questioned them whether cleaning the water will solve the issue. Then they told that we need to replace it with the original Tommy glass. Then I asked them if the glass they fixed could have such an issue why shouldn't it be avoided initially! Then the lady who did the service was trying to impose the fault in my head saying I insisted them to do it. I was surprised to hear their response and the way she talked to me. Yes, I agreed to use that glass just because they told me that it is good to use. If such an issue is expected I would never agree to do it especially being a new watch under warranty. Finally I told them to order new glass and fix it in a condition that the initial payment i made for replacing the duplicate glass need to be adjusted in the final bill. The estimated price they told was around Rs.1200/- And they agreed to courier it to my address once it is fixed.

                                After that I didnt get any response from them. I kept contacting them periodically but they were telling that the glass was not yet received. The estimated time to get the glass was 10 days as they were informed but even after a month I didnt get it replaced. However I decided to wait since I didnt want to make any arguments with them.

                                Finally last week when I contacted them and they told me that it will be ready in a few days and last Saturday they confirmed the work done and Sunday (Nov 20th) they asked my address in Whatsapp to courier the watch. I gave the address and they shared the amount to be paid which was 1650/-. Since the amount was higher than they estimated, I asked for the bill details in Whatsapp itself. Then their staff, his name was ARJUN, called me and told that bill details can be shared only after making the payment. I told him that I need to know how that amount came and whether you deducted the previous payment which I made for the useless glass they fixed initially. Then that staff member, Arjun, was very much arrogant and talked to me like I'm begging for their favour. And told me that the amount 1650/- I should have to pay and no other details he wanted to share. I also talked to the lady who did the repair work, but she was also saying the same thing. I asked them to connect me to their store manager. They told me that the manager is not available there. Then I requested them to contact me when the manager is there. They agreed to contact me back the next day when the manager is there.

                                I didn't get any call from them or their manager till today Nov 25th. Now I'm really feeling cheated and fooled.

                                Hence I request Titan Customer Care Team to resolve this issue at the earliest. I'm expecting to answer the following from the Titan Store.

                                1) I need to know the details of the bill, how there is such change from the initially estimated amount of 1200/-. (I agree that it can be an approx amount quoted initially however such a difference how I can accept!) But I'm ready to pay if that is the genuine amount.
                                2) I want the amount which I paid for the wrong glass to get adjusted in the final bill
                                3) I need to know why I had to wait around 45 days (Oct 5th-Nov20th) to get the glass replaced
                                4) Why your staffs are this much arrogant and irresponsible?

                                  My friend gifted me the older version of this watch 1 year ago, she ordered this watch from Titan’s app I really liked the watch but after sometime like before 2 months from now the watch was getting fog inside it and there was 2 years warranty on the watch so I went to the service centre and showed them the issue, they told me that it would be fixed in 1/2 weeks but I waited for a whole month later on I collected the watch went home and kept it on my desk and went to sleep when I woke up took my watch and went outside then the fog was there again then I got to know that it was happening cause of the temperature change later on that same day I went back and show them the watch and they took my watch came back in 15 mins and told me that the watch is fixed but I insisted them to take a look but still they said that the same thing won’t be happening again on the next day the exact same thing happened so I went back and gave them the watch to repair again after a month they handed me the Watch yesterday and on yesterday night the same thing happened now I’m really out of patience. I haven’t bought the watch even near to the water since the day I received my watch just in case I’m letting you know. 2 months out of the year the watch was with titan what should I do now since they are not repairing it properly? I’m not going to wait for another 1 month as they will try to fix my watch.

                                    I had purchased premium range of eye glasses for myself in Feb 2021. I was pushed towards the premium coatings on the same promising scratch resistance, eye comfort hence i ended up buying one of the most expensive pairs of eyeglasses at 12865/- . The photochromatic coating started wearing off just after the completion of warranty period. After few weeks now appearance of wear spots started hence now the spectacles have become completely useless. So I decided to walk into the nearest Titan Eye plus store at Thakur complex Kandivali east Mumbai where without any surprise I was asked to replace the glasses. Meanwhile Titan eye plus started sending me discount offer for the spectacles. I wonder if they already know they're going to last for only an year? This was the most expensive pair of glasses and I am fully pissed of due to the fact that they have lasted for the least amount if time. I strongly suggest people do get into the trap of their premium promises. Just to inform I had been wearing specs for more than 20 years so this complaint definitely makes sense.

                                        We had your golden harvest plan in the name of Daya Ben Desai. The maturity date is second august 2022. Monthly installment was rupees 10000, account number is[protected] . We had been at your Tanishq showroom at Vadodara Alkapuri branch, on 6 November 2022. Purchase the ornament against the amount credited in Golden harvestment plan. So we have booked one ornament and on same date rupees 56000 where also deposited in your showroom. It was also inform from your staff member Mr Ravi Rohit that you will get the ornament after paying additional money of the ornament including the reimbursement of Golden harvest plan within 3 to 4 days but till the date we are not in receipt of the feedback from your showroom so please look into the matter earliest and give us the feedback from your end as early as possible. Because the ornament selected is to be worn in marriage ceremony.
